Enjoyable and fun

It was a good overview of Sentosa. We could get on and off at the stations. Easy to organise and get tickets. Very enjoyable.

Terrible service

I booked cable car tickets for a specific date. I received emails leading up to the date confirming the trip. When we got to cable cars, we were told that the tickets had expired and we had to buy new ones. I have contacted Viator regarding this & they have refused to give a refund. Not happy at all and will not be booking with Viator again.

Mixed feeling : good but not amazing...

Mixed feelings : Very nice view but not exceptional... I think you should avoid it when it's raining because without the view it's pointless. However I think it is a little expensive...

Stickers blocking view

The ride was okay. But, the Pokeball stickers blocked my view. I prefer my ride about 20 years ago when there were no such stickers.

Upsetting

The cable car ride was great. However the vouchers from Viator were not able to be redeemed and therefore cost another $108 Singapore to ride it. Not Happy.

Disappointing

One cable car line was under maintenance and heard that ride is most significant. There was another ride thru sentosa which is just ok. So bit disappointed and wasted money unnecessarily.

Sentosa from the air.

At Mount Fabre, have a walk to The Henderson Bridge, well worth it. Once you’re on Sentosa Island, try everything especially the Luge ride, amazing and you get free chairlift rides thrown in and the Skyhelix for a 360 view. There’s a wonderful beach too.

Stay away from them

Went to redeem the tickets but Viator had not emailed me the QR code so had to purchase two more tickets. Contacted Viator to get a refund, wasting my time. Messaged the same thing on What's App for 24 hours trying to explain and seeking a refund, they were not interested. Save your money, go direct to the cable car to get tickets. This mob are useless.

Disappointing Experience with Singapore Cable Car Sky Pass

The appointer tour operator in Singapore GlobalTix Pte Ltd phone numder +6597653804 could not be contacted early Saturday the date of our tour and we had email problems hence found ourselves at Mt Faber cable Car site with booking which could not be used and wer were travelling out next day. Had to purchase new tickets at site office. The Cable Car ride is OK but generally not spectacular against other tours.

Bad experience and lost my money

i was in singapore at the end of august and bought three tickets at the airport “changi recommendeds“ to ride the cable car. it turns out that the cable car was undergoing maintenance the 4 days I was in singapore on my trip, in the end I asked for a refund at the airport “changi recommendeds”, where I filled out a form and I never even received the refund of money in my account.

Experience for my daughter

Just 1 trip is good enough, we bought a round trip but was informed we could also ride on the sentosa section and we tried, unfortunately this wil be too boring !!! Just take the round trip from waterfront section and then to Mount Faber and back to sentosa is good enough.

Humiliating experience

I booked tickets on behalf of my Mum and her friend visiting from Sri Lanka. I accompanied them to the cable car to ensure they got on. The woman checking tickets at Imbiah Lookout held back my Mum and her friend insisting very rudely that they produce their PASSPORT and VACCINE CERTIFICATE even though they had scanned TraceTogether. She did not insist on the same documentation for Western customers in the queue. This delay caused the customers behind my mum and her friend to get very irritable. An altogether unprofessional, rude staff member who desperately needs training in basic customer service ruined what should have been an enjoyable experience. Abysmal experience.

Good Experience

Absolutely loved it! Its quite an experience to see the west side of this country from top & in the air. It was also a time to rest our feet for a while from the day-long walking. During the night the lights of the ships and the hotels create a unique ambiance nice! Highly recommend

Agreat way to see what's on Offer at Sentosa

The Cable car ride from Singapore o Sentosa Island was smooth and well- maintained. The views from the cable car are really quite excellent over cruise ships and providing a vista of what is available on Sentosa, which is a MUST for all tourists visiting Singapore. Highly recommended.

Good and different experience as traveling very high above cruises and sea :-) . Not to be missed one if you travel to singapore

Disappointing

Did not accept our Viator ticket and so had tp purchase our own. The cable car ride was worth it as it gave you a different oerspective of Singapire and Sentosa Island.

Great views

Great views and very relaxing. Great way to get to the island and fort. My issue was that when we got there the machines were down so could not reclaim pre paid ticket so had to pay again.

Don't buy from this company! Buy directly from the ticket office to avoid being scammed. We never received our tickets and this company didn't answer the phone or call us back.

pricey but fun for kids.

we bought the return ticket at vivo city, but the place to ride the cable car was on the other building of vivo city. the ride was short, but the view is entertaining for young kids if they don't afraid of height.

Short but sweet

Different way to get to Sentosa and travel across but signs on Sentosa to get the cable car back were not very clear, so ended up walking round in circles.

Fraud

Booked this tour thru Tripadvisor. The travel agent knew that the cable car was suspended for the dates chosen and the next 2 days but still went ahead and took the reservation. Tried to call their emergency number but no answer. Called them next day and was told that I need to contact Tripadvisor as I had made the reservation thru them.Same travel was involved in 2 other scams where as they had issued a ticket for my use but when I went t the site, the person scanned the ticket and I was told that the ticket was already used on Jan. 16 but I did not arrive in Singapore until Jan 29. Again called the agent and was given the same answer. This travel agent needs to be delisted from Tripadvisor website as it's a fraud. Also their staff hardly speaks or understands English.Will contact Tripadvisor for refund and if I don't get it, will dispute thru my cc company.The travel agent in question is GlobalTix Pte Ltd

Cable car

We had taken the return cable car tickets to sentosa and also hopped on and off at the other stations. This is definitely a must do on the singapore itinerary. The view from the cable car is beautiful and unmissable

Pleasant

Finding your way around Sentosa Resort World isn't easy. Fortunately the lady at the shuttle train desk was helpful and relieved us of some cash to do the cable cars. A pleasant experience but sadly not spectacular and lots of opportunities to relieve you of more money along the way. Didn't really like what I saw of Sentosa (suppose OK if you have kids and want to do Universal, spend more money on activities or go to the aquarium). As a dopey tourist I found it difficult to get off and away easy. Caught the shuttle train across to Vivo City, navigated out of there and in the end flagged down a taxi which was cheap and quick back into Marina Bay area.

Flying High

Excellent way to get to Sentosa Island from mainland Singapore and enjoy great views on the way. It also gives you a chance to look down over some of Sentosa's activities and attractions.

Good views

Bought an open ticket so we could get on and off the cars. Each station had different things but be aware you have to pay for quite a few of the attractions, like Madam Tussards, butterfly Park. Free WiFi around the parks and when we were there very busy.

Half day in Sentosa

Had an enjoyable time riding both the cable cars in Sentosa. We got off at each stop and wandered around.

My home in the Sky

My family got a single sky car, we really grateful to Singapore cable car. Though it was a big que but at the ticket counter they also helped us to get attractions ticket in lower price.

Great way to get onto Sentosa island

We caught a taxi from the Intercontinental hotel to Mt faber, bought tickets and jumped onboard a cable car onto Sentosa, there were no queues at 9am. The views are spectacular and you get to see many of the attractions from above. There are two lines, and the second line takes you around the island. We caught a taxi back to the hotel from the main rank which is outside the casino area. Apparently there are no taxis at Mt Faber unless pre booked. They give you a map of the island and where to catch a cable car.

Amazing views

The views during the day & night are totally amazing. We took the cable car from Faber park & used it within Sentosa island too

A great experience

I bought an open ticket on here and when we got to the cable car it was a quick and easy process to exchange this at the ticket office for a day pass. The cable car is sensational and gives you a great view of Singapore, the harbour and sentosa island.

Epic vacation.

It was fun,easy and the staff was very accommodating. There is a lot to see on sentosa island. Sunset was beautiful looking over the city and the harbor view was beautiful. I give it a five!

Horrible experience

Terrible! The bar code sent was for only 1 person. It took me an hour to get a barcode good for 2 people. The person who made this mistake should b fired!

Holiday

The route to the island and back a little bit short. But enjoyably. Staff all friendly on the island.

Beach access

I had just an half day to go to the beach. 30mn Subway and you can take the cable car to access Santosa Island, with some beaches with white sand. The water is at a very good temperature over 28°C. The Cable Car give you also a nice view of the Port and you can see the dolphins in the attraction park just below you. You must do it, if you want to go away of the Shopping malls.

Cable car family trip Oct 2019

Loved the cable car ride with family, views & experience to Sentosa Island & back. Only hitch was booking tickets through viator. Though I had both printed the tickets with barcodes & taken photos of them from my phone, the lady at the counter said they were not the right ones & that I should have received another email. After twice going to the counter at Mt Faber, she told me to ring this help number and get them to email me the right barcode entrance form. I was able to speak to them & they emailed me promptly, so all sorted, but a little stressful at the time!

Singapore cable car ride to Sentosa island.

So worth it. We had the best time.there is so much to do once you get off from cable car on Sentosa Island, they have beautiful beaches, aquarium, universal studio, pretty much everything. There is a casino. We had a good time and price was $30.

Worth it for the views

Alternate way to appreciate this part of the Singapore landscape and scenery. Relatively expensive, but worth it for the experience. Only negative was one assistant was more concerned we didn't ride any further than we should rather than offering asssistance on what attractions were close to this particular station.

Great views and Fun, but....

Firstly this is a great way to see Mount Faber and entrance on to Sentosa Island. Beautiful views and fun to ride the cable cars. You get to ride both the Cable car lines. One to and from the island. The other is on Sentosa itself. The But is this.... No matter how or where you have purchased tickets to this ride (online via a third party websites prior to your arrival). You still have to queue to get the actual tickets to ride the cable car. Even if you’ve downloaded tickets or QR code to your mobile. Whilst we queued. Several people in the queue were turned away from boarding to visit the ticket office to get their ticket. We did book via a third party website and saved 10 SGD per passenger. Also, on return in the cable car. Get off at ViVoCentre, due to the fact there aren’t any taxi ranks at the Mount Faber station. Also expect to share the cable car if you’re a couple, as the cable cars can seat up to eight. This attraction is worth doing!

To be honest, I think the easiest thing is to buy the ticket on-site. The online purchase line was slower and took them 10 minutes to work out how to use the pass

Cable Car

We enjoyed the first ride to Mt Faber where we enjoyed a reasonably priced lunch with a good panoramic view back over to Sentosa Island. We then caught the cable car to Sentosa Island and then the cable car to the beach. A very pleasant day out.

Singapore Cable Car to Sentosa

A very well run facility. Good views on each line. There was a minor hiccup when I couldn't find a booking number even when I showed my printed ticket. I had to phone a contact number to obtain this before we were allowed on. Otherwise all ok.

Made a great day out

Great Value for money, would recommend for a great day out as you can hop on and off at each station wander around the sights and get to see all the island which has some great places and views, from walking along the beach, the tree top walkway, the busy Merlion centre with all the attractions, universal studios etc.(extra fees of course, but all reachable via the cable cars).

Wonderful Experience

We took two of our grand-daughters across to Sentosa Island in the morning and back again that evening with a brief stop-over at Mt Faber in between. It is a well-run and clean facility - great views both during the day and at nigh. Good value.

More than impresssed

We really enjoyed both cable car journeys. Sentosa is a great place to go to and have some lunch, go to the beach or a theme park. We went for lunch and there are so many choices. Pretty much every cuisine you can think of. After lunch and just 20 meters from the cable car station where we disembarked was the entrance to the 2nd cable car line which is a trip along the island and back. Then just transfer to the cable car for the trip to Singapore proper. We'd reconmend you dont go all the way back as there are not many transport options but get off at the building the cable car actually goes through. Huge shopping precint and a transport hub. All in all a great day out.

Great View

Well worth visiting Sentosa via the cable car, you get an excellent view as you float through the air in the small gondola's. The actual cable car runs through a high rise block at the mid point. We took a taxi to the cable car station at Mount Faber, its worth having a walk around the lookout point at Mt Faber before you catch the cable car. Beware that if you come back on the cable car to Mt Faber you may have problems getting a taxi. There is not a taxi stand you would have to hope someone is arriving by taxi for you to use. There is another cable car that runs to some of the tourist stops on sentosa and you can ride both witha sky pass. You can arrive and leave sentosa on a mono rail if you would rather, but for us the views from the cable car are realy good.

Sky High Prices with a view

For a simple cable car ride, its certainly on the high side price wise. Far cheaper to take a taxi or the mono rail to Sentosa. However when it comes to the views of Singapore aspect, its worth it. Particularly when combined with the ride within Sentosa itself.

We had a wonderful day at Sentosa. The cable car was great, although it took us a while to work out where we had to go to get on it. Staff were helpful too

Loved it

A wonderful way to get an aerial view of Singapore. Extra fun if you go with someone scared of heights: it made for some hilarious photos.
