Singapore tour

Lai Fun was a treasure trove of information and showed us around Singapore with an encyclopaedic knowledge of the history of Singapore. We visited and dined in a hawker market, went through the civic area, onto China Town and Little India! All of which was superb and we would not have been able to do that or see any of the things that Lai Fun took us to. I would highly recommend both Monster Tours and Lai Fun; you will not be disappointed.

Amazing tour of Singapore!

Lena was an amazing tour guide! She took me to several locations, more than expected during my 6 hour private tour. She is very knowledgeable about Singapore (the heritage, the culture). We hit the Civic District, Chinatown, Kampong Glam, and Little India, where I saw many beautiful sights. We stopped along the way and had very tasty snacks in a few of the local markets and even found time to stroll through a few shops. Lena was warm and friendly and had such good energy. It was such an enjoyable day! I highly recommend this tour and Lena as your tour guide.

Our Guide Ping was excellent. Explained to us the history of many historical sites and new locations that are both educational and interesting.

Excellent overview of Singapore

We had a full day tour with KK and had a great time with him learning about Singapore history, politics, day-to-day life, and architecture. We had many stops for food along the way and all of it was delicious. It’s the perfect orientation to Singapore and I highly recommend it to anybody else wanting to see all the major sites in the city.

Highly recommend Monster Day Tours for private tours!

We did a private tour with Monster Day Tours for one day, and also booked a pick up and drop off from and to the airport. Everything was so smooth and seamless, I never encountered a problem with them. They were very easy to communicate with and very responsive as well. The private day tour went smooth and no problems were encountered. Thanks to our tour guide, Si Wei, he was very helpful and understanding. Would definitely recommend them for private tours in Singapore!

What makes this city tick?

I had a day to spend on a layover and opted for a customized tour to try to grasp the vibe & feel of this amazing city that visited on numerous occasions but never had a chance to explore. Ping came out an excellent choice! Her delivery balanced on facts, storytelling and sightseeing was top marks. It was particularly noteworthy that she has reached out preemptively to check what angle I would like to explore during the tour!

Personalized itinerary and interactive tour guide

The tour was amazing. Isaac catered to our likings and brought us to places that will surely give us great and memorable experiences. He was able to customize our tour on the spot and was very responsive and informative all throughout the tour. Even inside the van he was able to give information about the landmarks we passed and their significance to Singapore. Would book this tour again when given the chance hopefully with Isaac as our tour guide.

Had a great time visiting Botanical Garden, Gardens by the Bay and Cloud Forest. The guide + driver picked us up on time. Our guide was very knowledgeable. We wouldn’t have gone to as many places if we just did it ourselves and took public transit. I highly recommend this company for private customized tours in Singapore. Take a tour of Singapore with Grace

Grace at monster tours is the best. My family and I toured Singapore’s ethnic and civic districts. When I mentioned I was interested in the Botanic Gardens she quickly switched gear and made that happen for us. We couldn’t have been happier with Grace and she took amazing pictures too!

We had a great tour guide named Ping from Monster travel and she was so informative regarding the history of Singapore and brought us to some great sites. Loved the Flower Dome! Loved the old post office! Loved hearing the history.

Best tour and tour guide in Singapore

Our guide’s name was Ping for our first time to Singapore. I don’t remember having a guide as wonderful and informative as she was. Ping is a student of history and we learned so much about her beautiful country. The places she recommended for us to see were incredible. She took a ton of pictures and sent them to us within 15 minutes after dropping us off. Many thanks to Ping for such a wonderful day.

Fantastic Tour!

So glad we found this tour and squeezed it into our team's business trip. Our guide was so knowledgeable and amazing. She was able to answer lots of ad-hoc questions about the area and the culture. It did not feel like a boring scripted tour, rather like we were hanging out with an old friend! The walking was at a comfortable pace and not rushed even though we had the half-day tour. Easy to fit in before an evening flight out.

Lena: A Great Guide who Teaches and Makes You Laugh

Lena made our trip to Singapore so much better because she helped us understand the history in a way that was digestible, thoughtful, and funny. Lena showed up early along with the driver Andy when they picked us up from our hotel. She was an excellent and knowledgeable guide with an in-depth knowledge of Singapore. We started off the day by learning about the early days of Singapore and the start of the multi-cultural country that it is today. This was followed up by a tour of the nearby Thian Hock Keng Temple and Nagore Dargah. Throughout the tours of both of these locations, Lena helped us to understand the formation and establishment of religious groups, trade groups, and cultural practices in the early days of Singapore's society. We were treated to a walk-around of the very colorful Sri Mariamman Temple and a great explanation of the religion surrounding it. Lena also showed us around the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple where a ceremony was being led by monks. We were also taken to a nearby hawker center with food that Lena picked out for us. This was quite delicious and a good break from the heat outside. We were then taken to a great view in front of the Marina Bay Sands and the The Fullerton Hotel. Lena also bought us ice cream as we walked around the park where the Asian Civilisations Museum and Victoria Theatre were located. After that, our last stop was a walk around Little India and more snacks at the hawker center there. Lena was quite funny and an excellent teacher to me and my family. She went above and beyond for us and was a wonderful guide and person. I would absolutely recommend Lena to anyone looking to learn about about Singapore's culture, its people, and history.

Great Tour

Raymond Teo was such a good guide. He was mindful that my mum could not walk far, so he made sure that we got to see as many of the attractions as possible, giving us good commentary along the way. He was really accomodating and patient.

Exceptional afternoon in Singapore with Anthony!

I would highly recommend the Private Customized Singapore Car Tour for first-time travel to Singapore with minimal time and if you don't want to experience any stress! We booked the 6-hour private tour that took us through Merlion Park, Marina Bay, Gardens by the bay and the local food market. Our tour guide Anthony was exceptional! His passion for the country came through as he shared insights into the history and journey of the country and local food experiences. Absolutely Amazing Experience. Beyond what we expected. Amazing tour guide - Adeline

First time in Singapore and our son booked us this Private car tour since we are older and don’t really know how to navigate different countries. At first we doubted if we’d enjoy the tour and thought it would be a waste of money. But once we actually met our Tour guide Adeline and went through the tour, we had such an amazing time. We’ve decided to come back with the rest of our family and do a longer tour. Maybe even a food tour on top of the sight seeing tour. Looking forward to coming back and having Adeline as our tour guide again. She was very friendly and catered to us the whole time. Constantly asking if we needed anything or any breaks. And socializing with my wife even though my wife’s English isn’t the best. Adeline was very thorough and caring as a tour guide. Would highly recommend her to everyone visiting Singapore!

Fabulous Day in Singapore

This was a great tour! Pamela taught us so much about the history of Singapore as well as modern times and how it is to live in the city. It was so interesting. She took us to all of the places that we had wanted to visit and even a few we didn't know about. She helped us eat lunch because language can make it difficult as well as gave us recommendations for the rest of our stay. I would suggest this highly if you have a short time to experience Singapore!

Explore Singapore with a guide

Anthony took such good care of us. He introduced the ethnic quarters and all about Singapore life. He did an excellent job and he is super friendly. The restaurant he has chosen was great too

So grateful to have found this tour company!

We were supposed to have our tour last November, however our flight has been cancelled due to a typhoon. Our tour is supposed to be no longer refundable on such short notice so I tried to ask if we could rebook instead. Fortunately due to their goodwill we reached a compromise (I would not specify what we had agreed upon as other people may expect the same treatment) which greatly lessened our losses. Now these are my reasons why I loved their company: 1. Denna was highly responsive and patient in accomodating my requests. 2. You will not be shortchanged in this tour as it would start and end on time. Mr. Justin Lim (our tour guide) has done a great job in considering the weather conditions so that we could maximize our day. 3. Mr. Justin is highly engaging, funny, knowleadgeable, informative, and shows great pride in his country. He even let us try some of his favorite Singaporean snacks. Thank you so much and Hope to book with you again whenever we visit Singapore again!

Exceptional private all day tour

Our guide Grace was exceptional and make the entire trip from start to finish a joy. Friendly, passionate and organized in all that she does. We saw all the key sights and even added a couple of stops along the way. Highly recommend and if you’re interested in a great guide - ask for Grace!

Pamela is the best tour guide!

Pamela was our private tour guide. We loved her! She has a great personality, and very knowledgeable about Singapore. We learned so much about the history and enjoyed sightseeing to all the different places. She took the best pictures for us on our phone and know we have great memories. We highly recommend her for your tour guide!

Highly recommend

It was excellent, interesting and fun. Tan Walters, our guide was knowledgeable and gave us lots of interesting facts. Tan was very funny with our kids and made the trip very successful.

Private Singapore car tour-a bust!

The second tour was a private half day driving tour with Felix and Asid (driver). Paid SGD 612. Both the tour guide, and the driver were pleasant. Asid was a skillful driver but this tour was boring and definitely not worth the cost. Though Felix was cordial, we felt that the amount that we learned and enjoyed was not commensurate with the high cost for this tour. It was a very boring tour and we felt that we were wasting our time. After spending over SGD1000 in two days for Singapore tours, we can only give a cumulative score of 2 stars. A successful tour has many components from communications to logistics to the tour guide and what is experienced. Because the tours were so costly, our expectations were very high and unfortunately, were not met with the 2nd tour!

Wonderful tour with the most knowledgeable guide

Me and my husband had the most wonderful and amazing tour of Singapore. Our guide Lena showed us all the goodies and hidden gems of the city. We adjusted the tour based on our interests and we also focused on exploring the places we had yet not seen. Since we stayed and the Marina Bay Sands we had already explored most of that part with its surrounding gardens, and could take a deep dive into and focus on the different districts of Singapore. Lena is very very knowledgeable and sits on the most amazing information about the history of Singapore. We really enjoyed the experience tremendously and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Singapore.

Lens was very knowledgeable and brought us to local attractions that we would not have known to go on our own. Very happy with the tour.

More than your usual day tour of Singapore!

We had a 10 hour layover in Singapore. We had visited several times for business and had previously seen the main tourist sites, so we asked Eddie our Tour Guide to give us more of a historical background and take us to areas not as commonly visited in a day trip. Eddie had a very deep knowledge of Singapore and its cultural history. We visited Chinatown, many of the religious sites and finished at the top of the National Museum, with great views of Marina Bay Sands and downtown. Eddie and our driver were very flexible, allowing us to stop and grab a bite to eat and some beverages when needed. We thoroughly enjoyed being able to ask about "all things Singapore" and receive great information in return. Best way to spend our day!
