My wife and I had a great time being shown the cultural insights and cuisine experiences that Singapore has to offer. Our guide, Nigel, was brilliant - very knowlegable, friendly and accommodating. We were well looked after and the food was delicious. We highly recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed!

A bit too pricey for the experience offered.

My guide Nigel was the absolute best. However I felt the experience was too rushed, There was no time to properly savor the food or take pictures to reminisce.

Food Culture with sightseeing

It is a great way to see the city. Mix of sightseeing with food cultures. Nigel aka “Chubby Checker” was fun, friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely some food we wouldn’t have tried on our own. Plenty to eat and was great.

Foodie tour in Singapore.

The food and history were amazing. Also we wanted to shop for something particular and he took us to the right place. We appreciated that.

No regrets!

We really enjoyed our tour. We had some delicious drinks and food from stalls that we probably would’ve never stopped at. Sujit was very knowledgeable in the history of Singapore and all the neighborhoods. We will definitely book with Viator again.

Great private food tour

We had a really excellent time with Grace as our guide who was really knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this private food tour as it took us around different areas of Singapore where we tried things we wouldn’t normally. So why 4 stars and not 5? The chicken rice we had at the end was not great at all. Not tasty, and hardly any chicken. Was lucky to get two bites. So glad we ended up getting chicken rice the following day from a different place which was a night and day difference. Otherwise we’d have left Singapore with a very poor impression of the chicken rice famous dish.

Wonderful guide

Our guide was excellent. He also was extremely accommodating with changes to the itinerary (I broke my foot, so we had to adjust many details, like stairs and taking off shoes for temples). He accompanied my 16 yr old granddaughter to take pictures when I couldn’t physically do something. Just awesome!!!

Fabulous Singapore

Fabulous city. Easy to get arround. So much to see and do. 4 days minimum to take it all in. Fantastic hotels for all budgets, love the food courts where locals eat. Interresting history, multicultural and inclusive of all religions. Impressive!

Fulling and Delicious Tour

Ray did a nice job introducing us to the culture, history and foods of the different areas described on the tour description. His choices of food were very good.

Good overall - as foreigners not use to humidity it would be much better to include some stops in places with a/c.

We enjoyed seeing the various cultural areas of Singapore and the food tastings. Also seeing the Relic Tooth Temple. However, as foreigners we struggled with the humidity. The guide should have asked more often if we needed to rest and also included some stops inside with a/c. I had notified ahead of time we had people of all ages in our group. My Father in-law was really struggling at times and guide never offered assistance.

Must do for a feel for Singapore

Our guide was prompt in picking us up and very friendly and informative. We not only enjoyed many sights, sounds and tastes, but we learned a great deal about these neighborhoods' histories, overlap and current stories. Highly recommend both the guide and the opportunity in walk in these fascinating neighborhoods. It made us feel quite comfortable to go back and spend more time there eating and shopping and visiting houses of worship

Hawker Delight

My most memorable parts of this trip was to learn about the history of each different culture and the types of food associated with them. My diet left them with a narrow rope of what food I can taste but the guide Grayson did a good job to accommodate it. Got a chance to walk and ride the MRT here which was great. Sample of Hawker food was nice.

Great guide made sure every place I wanted to see and experience was fone

The visit to the Sultan Mosque Little India and the walk thru the Metro The eatery , bazar and the mosque History of the area as narrated by the guide who is very efficient and thorough He is an asset to your company

Foodie tour

Kampong Glam was our favorite as far as food choices . A lot of it was bread based food which we weren't fond of. Our guide was so nice picked us up at hotel and got us a cab at the end. It was was very hard to understand what he was saying because of language barrier . But very knowledgeable about Singapore .

Food & Culture

It was a great tour. Grayson was fantastic. We learned a lot about the three cultures that make up Singapore. The food was really good. Especially in Little India. Great walking around to see the city. Highly recommended.

Amazing tour

Grayson was amazing and very knowledgeable. The tour was interesting and the food tastings were lovely. Got to try many things I have never tasted before.

Good experience and tastings

This was my 2nd visit to Singapore. My wife and I enjoyed the history and culture of the ethnic quarters and the tastings were great! Our guide, Grayson, was full of local knowledge as well.

Disappointing and overpriced

Tour guide Missey was great she was 5 star. We give a 2 star rating because firstly we were not advised this was a public holiday and the Arab section was closed. The rest of the tour consisted of crowded food halls in little India and little china. The menu was set and we did not have a choice of food. The food provided was of a poor and cheap standard, considering we paid over $200 each for this tour it was disappointing.

Taste the Culture!

Skip breakfast as this tasting gives you more than enough food along the three different stops to make a meal! Our guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant to spend the afternoon with. I only wish we had more time in Little India to explore more, but otherwise, it was a great experience!

Highly recommend for insight into Singapore

Grayson was an excellent guide - he was punctual courteous and selected tastings we wouldn’t have tried on our own. The tour was well organised and we learnt about the different cultural groups which gave us a better understanding of Singaporean culture.

Jag is the local guide who is very knowledgeable about Singapore. She owns the company and adjusted the tour to help us with our travel plans.

highly recommend!

Gifted this to my parents as they were visiting Singapore and had no plans. They said their guide was really nice and accommodating with the heat/humidity. Lots of things to try and enjoyed getting some history too as they walked around. Most of the food they tried was on the sweeter side, so something to be aware of. You could probably ask for more savoury or make note of it in your reservation - they seemed really accommodating. Their host took photos of my parents so they didn't have to worry about pulling out their camera every single spot and just enjoy themselves.

The different foods of Singapore were all delicious 😋. You can't get this experience on a bus. A great guide!

Excellent tour with a fantastic guide

My daughter and I really enjoyed the tour. Grayson was the best tour guide. He was polite, professional and extremely knowledgeable when it came to the food and location landmarks. The food items selected were very good. We would highly recommend this tour to everyone who was spending time in Singapore.

Knowledgeable guide, yummy food

Grayson was a wonderful guide! He was extremely knowledgeable about the culture and history of Singapore and picked us out super yummy tastings. He picked us up at our hotel right on time and kept us informed of how the afternoon would go. He took a few pictures for us and pointed out photo ops as well. We loved Chinatown so much we went back the next day. He gave us a list of tastings so we could go back to the ones we loved. Thank you!

Terrific afternoon walking tour - enjoying the food and history of the various districts

Our tour guide Grayson was excellent. We have visited Singapore several times but he was able to provide insights into the history and foods of the different areas and 'tastings' that we would not have tried normally. Cannot recommend his tour highly enough regardless of how many times Singapore has been visited. There is always something new to learn

Great Time in 3 Ethnic Neighborhoods

Cheryl took us to a shop where they make "pulled" tea: mixing the ingredients by pouribg back and forth from above the naker's head.

Useful understanding about few past of Singapore!

Very helpful guide with excellent commentry of historical sites made the tour memorable! Location and history created past and present Singapore - fantastic!

Solid food and walking tour!

Great visit to several different areas with local foods. A variety of food and solid information/history of the areas. Very informative! Greyson is very good!
