EXPRESS: Batam half-day tour with Ferry, 2-hour Massage and Lunch from Singapore

A memorable short escape from Singapore. The whole tour was well managed and arranged, the perfect combo of relaxing massages and delicious Indonesian seafood dishes in a day.

Food and massage was great

Indonesia was a refreshing change from the skyscrapers of Singapore, I particularly loved the 2-hr massage, the masseurs were professional. Excellent seafood lunch, the steamed fish was very fresh. Thank you for the side trip to the beautiful temple. I will recommend this tour to others.

Nice lunch of local food, but massage may be better to be bit shorter.

The driver was friendly and spoke fluent English. I experienced a nice massage time and good lunch of local food. One point to be improved is that travel time is limited; I took lunch within 35 minutes due to the departure time of the ferry. Although the driver suggested to change the time of the return trip of the ferry, my journey schedule was not flexible at that day, I could not extend the stay in Batam. Considering my experience, I think the duration of massage may be better to be bit shorter.

Waste! Of! Time!

The driver didn’t speak any English at all and we used google translate to communicate. It took me ten minutes to find him as he wasn’t standing there with a sign. He took me to a dirty marketplace to take a picture of the Welcome to Batam sign. That was worthless. The layer cake promised was only a sample and it was disgusting. Massage was just ok, but the place was dirty. I opted to just skip the meal altogether because I was just ready to leave there. I can’t believe what I paid for this stupid trip.

Save for single traveler

I got lady driver which was really nice! She speaks English well and brought me to quick explore Batam. The cake is nice and not too sweet. Indonesian lunch was ok.The2 hours massage is the highlights of this trip and I enjoyed much.

Ok, not great

Driver didn't speak english. The lunch and the massage was good. Didn't get taken to the cake shop, wasn't even mentioned. When we asked we were told "ferry now".

Great massage and lunch but that’s all.Over priced

Overall a good experience. Great massage and nice lunch but that’s all we saw of Batam We were told our driver would be waiting at ferry terminal in Batam but he was no where to be seen. After waiting for 20 mins I asked the information desk to call the travel agent and then the driver suddenly appeared. Nice man but very poor English so communication was sketchy. We didn’t get to go to the Monument and when we arrived at the cake shop there was nothing to taste For the price we paid felt a little ripped off I realise this was express trip but overpriced

Quick Trip to Batam

It was a great trip. The driver was right at the exit for the ferry with a sign with my name. It was a quick trip with the meal and massage taking up most of the time. After lunch, the driver took me around quickly to show me the highlights of Batam. It was a short trip, but I felt like I got the highlights.

Very good trip.Guide was informative. 2 hour massage included made the trip very good value for money.Trip to temple was the best we visited in our 2 week holiday to Asia. Indonesian food was very good but we were the only customers in the restaurant so we were not shore to start with but was ok. Because of the 1 hour time change to Batam from Singapore it was late evening by the time we got back to Singapore on the ferry.

We had a small problem with the Indonesian officials before catching the ferry, but eventually we got onto the ferry. As for the tour itself it was brief, due to our time constraints. The guide was very helpful and showed us as much as possible in the time available. The 2 hour massage was to die for , excellent. The lunch was ok as we are fussy eaters but was well presented. Overall we had a great day out.
