Amazing Experience with Sukia Travel

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids ages 8 and 10) did the 4-day Drake Bay Wildlife Tour with Sukia Travel and had an amazing experience. This is a company that cares deeply about their customers and about providing authentic, sustainable experiences. We had the most excellent guides (Andre, Emilio, and Eduardo), fantastic communication with Estefanie before and during the trip, and skilled boat captains. They really took care of us and were great with our children. Every aspect of the trip -- excursions, guides, accommodations, food, communication -- was well done. We are usually more DIY travelers but are so glad we opted to do this tour with Sukia. We highly recommend them and would book with them again in a heartbeat.

The most amazing jungle experience - nearly 70 species of wildlife in 2 days!

Trips don’t get any better than this. We had the most amazing time with the expert guidance from David, Eduardo and the team from Sukia. Corcovado is incredible, like being in a zoo without the walls! We saw so much wildlife and so close. Sloths, Tapir, Ant Eaters, snakes, Toucans and endless other animals, insects, reptiles and birds - in fact nearly 70 in total. Our guides could not have done more to make this an experience we’ll never forget. Their ability to spot wildlife is unbelievable- and their passion and knowledge about the jungle, ecosystem and its inhabitants was amazing. So glad we did our research and chose these guys.

You need to get yourself booked with Sukia!

This tour package was such a highlight for me. The team were lovely, hospitable, friendly & very helpful. They were very organized but also able to adapt to our hectic schedule & change things to suit our needs. The tours were amazing - caño island was such a treat, and Corcovado National Park was incredible! We had our Corcovado tour with Eduardo. He was funny, showed us some amazing animals & plants, and was very knowledgeable. We managed to see a porcupine, Tapir, and 3 out of 4 species of monkey in Costa Rica, including the endangered squirrel monkeys! And Charlie, our river tour guide, was also extremely knowledgeable & had such an eye for detail & spotting animals. And Sergio was our night tour guide - again, really knowledgeable & managed to even show us the poison dart frog and a snake! Anyway, in summary, I highly recommend these guys. You can tell how much passion & love they have foe doing this. Also shout out to Estafanie & David for being so hospitable & helpful. Such an amazing package with a great bunch of people.

Family fun 🤩

The adventures with Sukia travel were once-in-a-lifetime experiences. We saw a puma, a fer-de-lance, jumped off cliffs and saw more wildlife than I imagined possible. Sukia did a great job of taking care of us once we were there but we definitely could have used a much more detailed itinerary and packing list ahead of time. If you book this trip, email them to ask for as many specific details as possible (meals, transportation, packing list, air conditioning at accommodations). Bring hiking boots, a dry bag and expect everything to get drenched and not dry out. Canyoning was the most physically demanding activity we did. We were told this tour was ok for our 6 year old but with the heavy rains and currents, she was definitely too young for this. Would recommend for kids 8+.

Fantastic experience

I think 5 stars is feels like underrating. I had fantastic time in Osa peninsula thanks to great guides from Sukia. The snorkeling tour was one of the best trips in my life. I also appreciate the mission of the company focused on eco and sustainable tourism.

Incredible four days with family and biodiversity in the Drake Bay area

The accommodations were excellent with lovely breakfast on site pre-ordered the day before. All the guides were amazing, well informed and patient with all of the family's needs and we saw more than expected with a remarkable array of plants and animals that far exceeded expectations. The boat captains were very skilled and punctual and the boats well appointed. It was really special to meet the owner and have dinner with him the first night and hear more about what the company is trying (and succeeding! ) at accomplishing in the area. The night hike showed us the small and translucent creatures and gave us an in depth view into some of the incredible diversity and the other tours showed us under the water and into the forest and mangroves. Truly a special and full four days!

Experience to remember!

We had an amazing experience with Sukia. Never did I imagine being able to see so many wild animals in one small space. The views from our lodge and from the breakfast were spectacular David and his tour guides were knowledgeable and really showed their love for nature and the forest If you can canyon we highly recommend it!

Great adventure Sukia

The adventure of Sukia was the best of our hole vacation! We had a wonderful time and Sukia was very good: Andre is so lovely and enthusiastic and he showed us all the animals. David is a good wild spotter too!!!! The caño island trip was the best day!!! So cool. We wondered how Sukia mannage it to be exactly on time every appointment and arranged everything so well for us!!! We had the best place to sleep! So beautiful! Good and nice places to eat! We loved the hole adventure. We saw all the animals we wanted to see. Thank you so much!!!

It will be worth it!

I did the six day adventure tour and really enjoyed it. It was a good mix of different activities and it was an experience of a lifetime! The guides were so helpful, knowledgeable and facilitated so every person in the group had a best possible tour. What also sets Sukia apart from other companies is that they focus on tourism being beneficial to the local community and taking care of the natural environment. It makes it all a much better and more fruitful journey! And for all of you lucky once doing any of the Sukia tours, if watershoes are recommended I would bring em😉

Would definitely do it again

Breathtaking

I had a wonderful time and everything was organised perfectly! The different trips we made are definitely worth the money!The accommodation is clean and has a fantastic view. David and Sergio are helping out with everything someone needs. Absolutely recommended 👌. Pura Vida!

Best jungle tour ever!

We booked a 4 day adventure tour with Sukia travel and it was amazing! We highly recommend Sukia travel for anyone who wants to experience the wildlife of Costa Rica. Andrè made us feel really safe on the hike through the jungle. He knows a lot about both animals and plants and will guide you in the do’s and don’ts. They helped us a lot before and during the trip, and were always available on WhatsApp.

Perfect days in Drake bay

I spent wonderful 4days in Drake bay. I must recommend this tour and travel agency. David, Andre and Carlos were perfect guides for any kind of activity. They know perfectly about the nature, animals and all other staff. They were always kind and helpful and provide you options that suit you best. I enjoyed the night tour, snorkeling in Cano Islands and the one day hike through the jungle. I must also point out the picking up in Sierpe where I left my car in the parking area and since then I have no other duties. Thanks guys to open up for me Costa Rica in the best way :) hope i will be back one day.

Helt fantastisk oplevelse.

En helt fantastisk start på vores ferie i Costa Rica. En night tour med Sergio og Andre, spændende og oplysende tur. Guiderne var meget professionelle og dygtige til at fortælle. En fuld dag i Corcovardo med Andre. Vi så mange dyr på kort tid og fik meget at vide om dyrene. Andre var igen en super guide. En dag med snokling ved Caño Island med Christian. Meget flot at snokle ved revet. Det er en god idé at have badetøj som dækker hele kroppen, for at undgå solskoldning. Hvis du skal til Drake Bay fra Sierpe, så tjek Watsapp for info fra Sukia Travel og vent på den rigtige kaptajn, og lad dig ikke friste af andre som sejler til Drake Bay. De tager betaling for sejlturen. Vores varmeste anbefalinger til Sukia Travel. Tak, Andre, Sergio, Rachel og David for en rigtig god oplevelse.

Exceptionnel

Je rejoins Marie sur son commentaire, puisque nous faisions parti du même groupe. Grâce à David, son père Carlos et André, nous avons passé nos meilleurs moments du Costa Rica au Corcovado. C’était tout simplement incroyable. Nous avons fait une randonnée nocturne et avons vu plein d’animaux en tout genre (grenouilles, araignées, serpent..). Par la suite nous avons fait une randonnée d’une journée dans le parc national du Corcovado, malgré l’intensité de celle-ci, nous avons vu des paysages incroyable et de nombreuses espèces d’animaux sauvages. Pour le 3e jour, nous avons fait du snorkeling à cano island et nous avons eu la chance de nager avec un requin de récif et une tortue verte. Nous avons très bien mangé dans différents restaurants de Drake bay (nous étions en demi pension) et avons passé toutes nos soirées avec les garçons mêmes quand nous avions quartier libre. Merci à vous 3 pour ces merveilleux moments et j’ai hâte de revenir dans cet endroit si paisible. À bientôt ! Méghane

Un moment fort de notre voyage !

Une expérience qui vaut le coup ! Un tour super bien organisé par des guides ultra sympathiques ! David et André nous ont accompagnées tout au long du séjour et sont mêmes sortis au resto avec nous les soirées libres. Ils nous ont fait voir la nature merveilleuse du Corcovado et ses animaux, le tour de nuit est à ne pas manquer et que dire du snorkeling ! Définitivement une des meilleures parties de notre voyage. On était bien encadrées, mais jamais bousculées. Un bel équilibre. Bravo !
