An excellent day trip from Seoul

My friends and I really really the DMZ and Suspension bridge tour. The tour was informative and I gained a much better insight into Korean history and the realities of life and relations between North and South Korea. It was fascinating to walk through one of the tunnels built by North Korea. Veronica was an excellent guide - she was so well informed, answered all of our questions, was very pleasant and the day ran very smoothly. Thank you. The day was a very well worth while day trip from Seoul.

The 3rd tunnel experience. The only thing was that there were no clearing lunch break. Guide was very good. Knowledgeable and service-minded.

spectacular visit, in the tour it was possible to see the inside of the tunnel very fascinating; also dora observatory very beautiful, where you can admire the North Korean flag, our guide Brian Kim was very professional, he explained very accurately the history of the DMZ, recommended this tour

The tour guide Mrs. Veronica that we had on the tour to the DMZ was highly insightful on information about the Korean War and the DMZ and was also very friendly and kind and I would recommend her to anyone taking a DMZ tour.

The DMZ tour was wonderful and Mr. Brian was great. He gave us a lot of background information at each site. I would highly recommend him!

DMZ tour experience

Tour was brisk and packed with activities, very informative. Crowds can be tough, don't dawdle, and be prepared to walk/hike a lot at the Gamaksan suspension bridge. Brian Kim was charming, funny, engaging, an excellent guide; we couldn't be more pleased with him!

A must if you go to korea

We really wanted to do this tour and it was as we expected. We visited one of the tu els built by North Korea, the observatory from where you can see the DMZ and both areas, the perfect instagramer bridge ;) and we learn a very important part of the history of the country.

Amazing

I loved the tour! She gave us very insightful informations about the border and i felt very comfortable asking questions. The things we saw were very interesting and i am so grateful to have had the opportunity to see and understand more about the border. She gave us some important facts that i didn't know and was very surprised. Thank you!

Awesome tour of the DMZ

Guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a wonderful tour of the area. Be prepared to walk and the tunnel tour is physically taxing on the ascent back up.

Brian Kim is a great tour...

Brian Kim is a great tour guide, he gave us not only information about DMZ but also a lot about Korea in general. No need to worry about being hungry, there were coffee shops on every step of the tour.

Great Tour. Highly recommend

I took the tour in April 2024. Pick up came on time. Our guide, The young and handsome Mr. Young, provided a fun, lighthearted, and amusing experience while being informative, but not boring and not going into unnecessary a personal agenda (like other guides I saw there). For the second part of the tour we had Brian (If I remember correctly) as a guide, which was very nice, cheerful & funny. Overall I highly recommend the tour with Mr. Young & Brian. I had a great time.

Junie our tour guide was exceptional what a vibe and great energy. From pickup 7am to drop off 2pm was a good amount of time.

We booked for the 8:50am...

We booked for the 8:50am time slot and were messaged at 11pm the night before that the bus was actually picking us up at 7:50am. I appreciate the tour has to leave early to ensure tickets for the DMZ and we rushed to make it there on time. However there never should have been the option for the 8:50am time slot in the first place. I have email receipts and confirmation of the misleading 8:50am pickup time. Otherwise the tour was okay. Overall there could have been better communication throughout the trip. Listed on the itinerary were optional additional stops and yet there was zero mention of them or opportunity to join in.

Dmz tour was worth it

Our guide miss Veronica was great, her English was very clear, she was very knowledgeable and always there to answer our questions. The whole tour was well organized and very interesting.

Excellent and worthwhile

Junie was knowledgeable, friendly, and well organized. The pickup spot was easy to find and the van was on time. It took about an hour to the first stop from Seoul. There is some waiting because of the timed admission set by the DMZ. This is good so you have time to get snacks and use the restroom. Highly recommended!

10/10 DMZ Tour- I feel much more worldly

Junie is the greatest of all time. She eloquently shared her deep knowledge of Korea, the Korean Conflict, the DMZ and NK with me and my friends, a truly life changing experience. Can’t wait to go again in the future, hopefully with better terms between the countries

An experience not to miss

DMZ observatory scope has different heights for your viewing comfort. 3rd tunnel is some experience, but make sure you are physically fit.

Must do for first timers in Korea

Youngmi was very friendly and pleasant, the trip was nice because we got split into a smaller group while we joined a larger group for a portion of the trip. I would definitely reccomend seeing the DMZ and no shopping helps save time!

DMZ tour

We had Sadie as our tour guide. Sadie spoke English well and was very knowledgeable. Sadie was also very organised and made sure we stuck to the schedule without feeling rushed. Lots of free time between each stop. Unfortunately went on a rainy day and could not see anything from the observatory. Would recommend this tour if you want to know a little bit more about the divide/history between South Korea and North Korea.

Amazing experience at DMZ. Teba

It was an amazing experience. Our tour guide Mr Young was very knowledgeable and told us a lot about the Korean history, the best part of the trip was the walk through the infiltration tunnel.

Young is the king of tours

Young was an amazing tour guide who gave us a great history of Korea and the Korean War. He was always smiling and very happy and made the tour a good day out.

Excellent

Took the late morning DMZ tour. Though we were scheduled for 9am, the pick up was at 7:45am to increase our chances of getting into the DMZ which could be sold out due to it being the weekend. Ms. Youngmi was our guide at pick up in a small van. She was an excellent tour guide with her historical knowledge and explanations of what was happening for the tour. At our first stop we switched to a large tour bus to join another group. Young was then our tour guide through the DMZ. He too provided an excellent historical background of the area. The trek down and back up the third tunnel is not for the faint of heart. Though there’s not much to see, the shear depth and efforts of North Korea trying to invade South Korea is a cruel reality that one is unlikely to expect elsewhere. Overall the tour was well worth it.

Great tour very informative and at times emotional

Loved every minute thanks to our great tour guide Mr. Brian and of course the subject matter itself is fascinating. I was short in time so I booked the most reviewd tour, and I'm glad I did. The tour didn't feel rushed, and was very informative. Mr. Brian made the entire trip very interesting.

Tiring but interesting especiall the Waterfall

Gives one a unique (and grim) perspective on Korean War. Note: you can no longer go to the JSA negotiating area, only the Park (interesting) and observatory (see NK and DMZ areas by binoculars (taking turns and hoping its a clear day..) tunnel is considerabe effort if you are older (you go down a tunnel to end and back; very steep); village stop is toilets and convenience store, UK memorial park was pretty and suspension bridge the best of all (beautiful nature, waterfall; path and walkways but steps). You really must take lunch (limited time to grab something) if you want to avoid a lot of wasted time queing. Glad we did it but very tiring! LOTS of tourists on the 1/2 day trip and timing is up to the military so be flexible with expectations of times at each stop...

This was a very unique tour full of fascinating information. Our guide, Brian, had lots of knowledge and experience running this tour which ensured we had a smooth day. There is a physical component to note as the walk down the tunnel is not for the faint of heart.

Ideal Fascinating Tour.

Fascinating tour with plenty of good historical background. Junie is a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. Our half day tour was ideal and we saw exactly what we wanted to: Peace Park, Infiltration Tunnel, and of course the DMZ and the view North from the top of the hill. Well worth it 👍👍👍

Junie’s fantastic tour!

Great experience! Junie was a wonderful guide, shared lots of information and made the experience very smooth and easy. It was a great tour! Definitely worth doing the tour and not doing it on your own as there is a bit to navigate, getting tickets and getting there. Junie did it all with a smile. Would thoroughly recommend - we had an amazingly clear day and had an incredible view of North Korea and Junie helped us to find key view points in the binoculars including North Korea guards in the watch tower and North Korean citizens riding their bikes. It was amazing and very interesting - would definitely recommend.

My sisters and I went on a trip with Mr. Young. We wish we would have booked the whole day tour instead of the half day tour because it exceeded our expectations. Hearing personal stories and seeing the tunnel and North Korea at the observatory platform has moved our hearts deeply. We highly recommend booking this tour! It will enrich your time in Korea and make your trip even more meaningful. At different spots you can buy souvenirs from North Korea. A must tour for visiters in Seoul with the best instructor Mr. Young

Our instructor Young was excellent, he was full of knowledge, very funny, and shared with us his emotions about the Korea war in a way that everyone of us felt empathy and compassion toward the suffer of the Koreans in both sides. He was really the best! We took the half day tour and it was very well organized organized and we returned to Seoul feeling that this tour is a must for everyone visiting the city, especially with Young.
