TripGuru is a fraudulent company

Fraudulent company… Tripguru is the worse your company… I booked a tour in Bali… and specifically sent an email to confirm that I will be returned to my hotel by 6 pm… because I had prebooked a 6:30 pm airport transfer… and Bali traffic is no joke and you must leave on time… Tripguru responded that I would be back on time by 6 pm… So I go on the tour and confirm with the driver… and the driver says that I will get back at 8:30 pm and miss my flight… It was a group tour and so I even tried to stay on the tour but every person had to agree to do the Ubud rice fields last and go far east first… I was even willing to pay for my own taxi from Ubud back to Denpasar AT MY OWN EXPENSE… Unfortunately, one of the passengers was adamant that she wanted to do the Ubud rice fields first… and so I had to leave the tour before it started… And here is the Fraud and Scam part… the company refused to issue a refund even when I have written proof that they responded saying I would be back by 6 pm in time to catch my flight… I booked through GetYourGuide and they refunded their 30% cut… but TripGuru is a fraudulent company and still has not refunded the money… I could do a bank chargeback with all the written evidence that I have on this… but that would also harm GetYourGuide who gave me a refund on their part… So I am instead just warning everyone not to work with TripGuru… The problem is that TripGuru I found out is based in the Philippines and not Bali… so their customer service doesn’t even know anything about Bali…

Amazing photos and experience 10/10

Unreal photos Dewa was amazing super friendly 10/10 tour guide and experience! Only bad things was pick up was at 6am not advertised time of 8.30am and the day was 13 hours in total not 11.5 as advertised, Bali traffic was a bit crazy so hence the longer time but I think saying 11.5-14 hours duration would be more clear and transparent! overall the extra time and king day was 100% worth it :)

Great tour for amazing photos and sight seeing.

A lovely tour to see some of the most iconic places, it's a long tour so be prepared. Photos were stunning and we covered a good few places in this tour. Definitely would recommend it when in Bali.

Wonderful Guide and Experience!

We had a great tour guide, Oka, and he was extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions and gave a great tour. He was very patient and took us around the places safely and comfortably.

Fantastic guide!

Our guide, Marta, was fantastic! He was very attentive, offering to take photos of us everywhere, and guiding us around the attractions. He taught us how to pose, where to look, and coached us through each photo shoot! I have photos that look professional and I don't know how to pose. It's all thanks to Marta's coaching!

Great tour of Balinese must see sites

Great full day tour to see the highlights of Bali. Awesome tour guide Mr iKadek/Poncho - he was patient and kind and gave us lots of insights into Balinese culture. Recommended.

Once in a lifetime experience

It was an amazing experience. The trek is not easy but it is totally worth it. My guide was Senegall. He was very patient during the trek and at the same time made sure that we reach the top before the sunrise. While returning we took another way which was altogether a different experience.

Great little tour. Quite a lot of driving.

Strangely enough my wife and I dislike having out pic taken so chose this tour for the sights. Our driver/guide Santika spoke good English, drove really well and had a great sense of humour- we had a lot of fun. Theory recommend.

A wonderful experience

Gusti was our driver and...

Gusti was our driver and he was amazing!! He went above and beyond with everything that he did. We felt very safe when we were in the car with him and it never smoked in the car which I appreciated and found very respectful. He was like our own personal photographer and told us fun facts about Bali and gave us space when we were at the temples and such. 10/10 recommend this tour and Gusti as a driver!

East Bali Tour

Bello was an amazing Driver! We had a great time. Lempuyang and Tirta Gangga are some really nice places to spend time. The Rice Terrace was stunning and so was the Waterfall. A must do!

Amazing Tour, but the highest point was the GUIDE!

Everything went AMAZING. Komang (our guide) arrived pretty early and he was very helpfull with all my questions about the Baliness Culture. He even tought me some Baliness. eehehhe I felt very safe with his driving. He is really amazing. Great explanations and an AMAZING photographer. ehhehehe He has great ideas for pictures and can hold your phone for the whole day taking amazing pictures and videos. He make us feel very confortable the whole day. We spent a great time in each place and he even asked if we want to do something that it wasn't on the tour, because maybe if was around the area, we could include. So so nice! I love it every minute! And I really wanna do all my tours in Bali with him! Thank you so much, Komang Artha! You are amazing!!

Great tour

Komang was an amazing guide!! I learned so much with him and he was so helpful with everything. He speaks english very well so you can ask him all the questions you have and he is going to answer them all! I recommand 100% and would do all my tours with him if it was possible!

Had a great tour with tour guide Yogi who was very polite, with a good sense of humour and went out of his way to ensure both of us on the tour enjoyed it. He also knew all the best spots to take pictures from! Highly recommended!

Amazing Bali with great Temples

it was a great experience with this travel TripGuru company in Bali. The online booking via TripAdvisor is just so easy as we have done many time in the past. The driver, Topan, picked me up at the hotel on time with a clean and nice car for the tour. I got so many nice photos on this tour and the temples/palace are just so amazing with the beautiful landscape and unique architecture. Topan was very nice to explain about the significant information about the temples and also the culture associated to the island. He was also very nice to take many nice photos of me and the temples. Highly recommended

Definitely got our photos worth!

Our tour guide Komang was friendly, kind, and so patient when we were having our photos taken. He took us to all the best spots (btw there's a lot of waiting time, so I recommend bringing snacks to help pass the time!) and never rushed us. He accommodated all our requests without even blinking. So professional! Highly recommended!

Beautiful temples.

Be prepared for an early start, but definitely worth it. We had another great organised trip booked through trip guru. We were advised of our pick up time the day before and we were lucky to get Gusti again. Our first stop was at the royal water Palace. It's such an impressive temple, surrounded by water and big fish. Our second stop was to heavens gate. Please be advised that the waiting time can be anything up to 3 hours, depending on how busy it is. It is very organised. Once you pay you get a stamp and are issued with a number. Your number will be called and you have your picture taken. 3 poses each, plus 3 as a group or couple. While you wait you can look at the amazing views and impressive stairways behind. We then went for a buffet lunch which had lots of choices and very reasonably priced. Our next stop was a beautiful waterfall. You can take your swimming things and stand under the waterfall or just go for a paddle. Gusti was a fantastic tour guide again and took some great photos for us. He definitely made our trip an enjoyable one. This is a great trip and worth the early start. It is a long day.

Highlight of Bali

I had a great day with Putu. It was the highlight of my trip. He took me to some great spots and waited kindly for me.

Trip with Yogi

Absolutely loved Yogi. Extremely friendly and made me feel safe and cared for during the entire journey. Guided us well to all the spots. Answered all my queries and provided proper guidelines for staying in Bali. Going to book my next trip with him the next time i travel to bali

Best turn of events

I booked the IG Tour and on the day of the tour, our guide, Bello, said we were scheduled for something different. He contacted his boss and turns out there was a miscommunication with the company we booked with (Trip Advisor, which apparently is located in China) and the company we were traveling with (Trip Guru, in Bali). Bello and his boss were very accommodating and allowed us to continue with the IG tour; however for the IG tour you usually leave at 6am (because one of the stops gets really crowded and it’s recommended to go early in the morning) and it was already 8:30am. Bello changed the itinerary and instead of going there first, we went there last for the sunset, and we didn’t have to wait long at all! Bello was great! He made sure we were able to go to all of the locations, took some amazing photos for us, gave us the background/history of each place we went to and he was so friendly! By the end of the day we decided to book another tour with him the next day since we didn’t have any other arrangements :)

Great tour!

I took this tour recently and it was a great experience! I am solo-travelling and was hard to find something with a reasonable price. This tour was cheap and our driver Pustika was great. He also helped me with my backpack while climbing the stairs. Thank you!🙏 The only thing that I would improve is the lunch time. You are driven to a beautiful spot where you can have the swing but there is no choice on restaurant. There is only that place that is very expensive compared to the places you can find in Bali.

Nice

Better price than other tours offer and cheaper than hiring a driver for a day. The guide Wayan took perfect pictures and even knows the trick how to get a picture at Lempuyang in 5 minutes instead of 3 hours (this is how much people have to wait there to get it). After the tour guide drove me to another hotel which wasn't even in Ubud, it was in Kuta so it's a long way. Thank you!

Fun experience

The day plan was great. Having a private car meant going at our own pace. Our driver Dewa was funny and spoke well in English. Very friendly and helped with sarong issues :) only bad thing was missing out on the swing due to timing. Tour went for 13 hours because of traffic.

Great tour!!

I had some solo time in the beginning of my trip to Bali, and doing this Trip Guru tour was the perfect thing to do! My guide, Wayan Pustika, was great! He was very accommodating and friendly! He even stood in line for me to take the “Heavens Gate” picture at Lempuyayng so I can explore the grounds of the lovely temple. I would 100% recommend!

Amazing trip with Edi

Edi is a very amazing tour guide! He takes care of everyone so well and make sure that everyone gets to see everything that they want to see due to the unlimited time. He is also a good photographer and will go wherever with you and make sure you have beautiful shots! I really had memorable time despite heavy traffic at the end. Everyone is so welcoming and Edi is very nice, caring, and knowledgeable throughout the entire trip.

Beautiful places to see in Bali. Great tour. The «administration» was bad at replying at our questions, and not very helpful. Our guide Edi on the other hand, was very friendly and helpful! Made the day a good experience 😊

Great instagram story!!

We had great day with Wayan Pustika- our guide. He took us to 4 great places. At gates of heaven temple, he waited in line for us and was very kind and patient. On the trip he spoke about many different areas of Bali. We thought maybe we will miss seeing the rice terrace but he made sure we made it! And all with a smile! ☺️ Thank you Wayan!

Amazing trip!

My fiancée and I went on this trip yesterday. We were joined by a solo traveller and the car was clean and comfortable. Our driver Tawan was amazing. He was very friendly and took great care of us. He held my purse and backpack while we took photos. He offered his hand to help me while walking near the waterfall so I wouldn’t slip. You will get to see four amazingly beautiful places and the photos you will have from this day are breathtaking. I highly recommend this tour from TripGuru.

Amazing

The most amazing day. Wayan picked my sister and I up at our hotel at 6am and took us to all the best sites and we let us take our time. Our first stop was the temple which was beautiful, we then went then went to the water garden, Wayan then took us to the most amazing lunch spot with delicious food and unbelievable view. After lunch we headed to the waterfall which we loved and then to the Swing which was a great experience. The whole day was perfect and wouldnt have been the same without Wayan, we really appreciate it and highly recommend!!!

Me and my partner loved the tour guide we were with 😍 it was truly an amazing tour! Thank you Guzti for the well spent day and the humorous trip 🤗 he is an excellent driver and knows all the ways so we wont get stuck in traffic during rush hour. The best tour we ever had!

We went with a group of 4 and had the most amazing driver named Komang, he was absolutely hilarious and couldn’t recommend him any more. He was always smiling and making jokes, waited for us very patiently to take lots of pictures and took us to the most amazing places. He honestly made our trip! Would definitely do this again!

Great Way to Cover Alot of Ground

I am truly appreciative of the professionalism and warmness extended to me and my guests on our Bali Instagram Tour.  Edy was very courteous and knowledgeable. And, when the weather changes unexpectedly he was amicable and flexible with the time that we spent in the interment waiting for the rain to pass.  It made our tour and his day much longer and he handled this with ease and was just as politely and friendly when he dropped us off that evening as he was when he arrived to pick us up at our villa that morning.  He is truly a gem to the company and made our trip Amazing!

Best ‘Bali in a day’ tour you could hope for

Genuinely the best day trip I have ever done on my travels. I can not recommend this enough. After a slight hiccup with the pick-up time (the email from TripAdvisor had gone into spam), my tour guide Adi and Ari (sorry if that’s not how you spell his name!) kindly came back to pick me up from my hotel. I did the small group tour and was with only one other person. Adi was very knowledgeable about all of the locations we went to and was able to answer our questions. He’d clearly done this a lot of times and always wanted to help us get the best photo. All of the spots we went to were the ones I had heard about and wanted to see - and it was amazing to do it all in a day. Don’t expect to be able to take your standard Insta shot at the Gates of Heaven, though, as the line is 4 hours long! Adi worked around it and showed us other places we get photos. Adi and his Ari really went out of their way to help us on the tour - when we went to the waterfall we didn’t know in advance we would need flip flops and they sacrificed their own sandals! They were fantastic guides. This is a long day with a lot of travelling - so be prepared for lots of traffic in places! And do remember cash for all of the places you’re going and for lunch - some of the entry prices are a bit higher than those it notes on this page. I also couldn’t help but tip as much as I could, too, as the tour was definitely worth a lot more than I paid for it.

Authentic Balinese experience with Santika

Santika/Jamal, our tour guide for the day, took us on an amazing trip to the best parts of Bali including lempunyang temple and The water palace. He was patient & waited with us in long queues which was fantastic. Everything on our itinerary went accordingly because he was on time with everything. We were traveling as a family of 8 with kids and he still managed to take care of all of us. If you’re looking for a funny, friendly tour guide then Santika is perfect for you. Fantastic day exploring Bali and incredible photos

We recently went on the Bali Instagram tour and loved it! My boyfriend and I don’t usually go on this type of organised tours but we chose it because we wanted to visit all the must-sees in Bali and we didn’t have much time to explore by ourselves. Gede and Adi, our guides, were wonderful and really went beyond to make sure we were comfortable and could get the most out of our day. They were very knowledgeable and told us a lot about Balinese history, myths and every day life. On top of all this, they are incredible photographers, honestly they took some of the best picture I’ve ever had. They know where to take the best shots and are keen to spend the time necessary to get just the perfect angle. Overall, it was a beautiful day out, seeing the most breath-taking places in this beautiful island and taking amazing pictures.

Amazing Experience!

I usually don’t take the time to write reviews but I was blown away by how awesome this tour was! My tour guides were Adi and Gede and they went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. They knew lots about the destinations we went to and always had a fun and pleasant attitude. The locations were just as beautiful as I hoped they would be, and my guides took the experience to the next level! 10/10 would book another tour with them if I could :)
