Amazing day!

We had a wonderful tour of Nusa Pedina with Asta as our guide and a skilled driver! Asta made sure we saw the best and got great photos. He was attentive and kindly met all our requests. A lovely young chap and we had the best time.

We did this tour with Asta, who was very kind and helpful during all trip. He took the best pictures for us and made us enjoy the whole experience, we loved it! Also, we got to the places earlier so they were not so crowded and could get a better view of the beaches. Last but not least, we were the only ones on this tour which made it more enjoyable!

Nusa penida Beach tour

our tour guide Pak Melan was fantastic. We got picked up from our vill in seminyak on exactly the time we were told that he was going to arrive. took the speed boat from Sanur to Seminyak. Had a great day sightseeing to all the beaches and Pak Malen put the effort in of taking great lictures and videos (really talented) local knowledge was great. My oartner and I were quite quick with alot of spare time before the boat back to Sanur but thats because personally we didnt line up to the well known picture spots. But Pak Malen knew the uncrowdwd oicture takings spots to go which was great for us. Reccomend his tour if you want great photos and dont mind lining up. Highly recvomend Pa Malen to be your tours guide. We're lucky enough to see mantarays from one of the cliffs looking down at snorklers. finishing off a great restaurant called BuBu where they had swings in the water. perfect way to fknish was a fun boat ride back on the top level with a good crew and bintangs. Even went through effort of sending us local street food addresses and was happy to throw in extra stops on the drive home.

Great day out at Nusa Penida.

A great day out to Nusa Penida. Our tour guide, Robert, picked us up bright and early from the hotel to catch the 50 mins ferry ride from Sanur port to Nusa Penida. The ferry ride was not too rough as the sea was calm during our trip. There, we were greeted by a local driver that drove us along with our tour guide to the picturesque beaches. The views were stunningly beautiful at Angels Billabong, Broken Beach and Kelingking. You do need to be moderately fit as there's a bit of walking and climbing stairs and pathways. You'll also need to contend with the crowd for photo spots. It's always hot in Nusa Penida so hat, sunscreen and sun protection clothing would help. As the place is still a bit rustic, roads are windy and narrow. Not good if you suffer from motion sickness. Worth the trip if you like great sceneries. Thanks Robert for guiding us.

Asta - BALI GILA :)

Our dream holiday - late Honeymoon with the best guide ever - ASTA !!!! Asta has a friendly personality, is knowledgeable, kind, polite, helpful, full of fun, and always has a smiley face. He jokes and sings. We went around Bali, visiting the famous tourist spots and hidden gems that only a local like Asta could know. His guidance allowed us to experience much more than we could have. He took such good care of us and ensured we were always okay. He showed us the best of Bali, not just tourist places, with his heart by sharing information about the locations. We felt comfortable and safe! We felt like a VIP when he took pictures of us with the beautiful scenery of Bali. Asta made our family holiday a dream come true! Thanks so much for this lovely time. Lovely trip

Lovely Trip . Our tour guide Yanika was very helpful . We were little skeptical about the trip . But from the pick up from the hotel , till the time she dropped us back everything was perfect. Surprisingly , food in the island was good as well .

Amazing Tour with an Awesome Tour Guide:)

We had an amazing day today!!!! Our tour guide YANIKA was so so awesome. She explained to us about Balinese culture and their traditions. She gave us lots of information about the Island, the beaches, and the ways of living of the Balinese people. She is so fun, loving and caring, and always checking on us to see if we needed anything. We had amazing views of all of the beaches. Come early to avoid the crowds. Lunch was super delicious as well. We were so drained from the heat today but Yanika made it such a great tour so the memories and experience will be unforgettable. We absolutely recommend her and thank you again for today Yanika, you are the BEST:)

Amazing Trip and Driver

Beautiful Island!

Asta was very friendly and knew great spots for taking photos! The island is very beautiful and we loved having a swim to cool off at the end of the tour. :)

Nusa Penida with Yanika

We had a lovely day with Yanika. She was a great tour guide and friend. Would definitely recommend this tour with Yanika. She made sure we were always okay and informed us everytime we were doing something new. We really liked the way this tour turned out.

Stunning views

The tour was great and made better by our guide Robert (Made). He was kind, informative and funny. I would highly recommend him for nusa penida or any Bali tours. The tour itself is very long - 50 min ferry ride, 45 mins to keklingking beach, and 30 minutes to the other destinations. We got picked up around 630am and got back home around 6pm. The views are stunning. We went in November and it was very hot so wear sunscreen and drink lots of water. There are tourists all year round. We lucked out and did not get rained on but we’re told November is rainy season. June July august is very hot (the November heat was already too hot for us). The roads are very bumpy so be aware if you get motion sickness easily. keklingking beach has beautiful views but there can be a line to take pictures. Broken beach is stunning. Crystal beach is a nice spot to relax on and swim in the water. The other beaches you really can’t access the beaches as they are more dangerous. The water is very clear and the tides are strong. Would be a great place to snorkel.

Best Tour & Tourguide (Asta) ever!

The views & every spot we visited were incredible! Our tourguide Asta brought us to the best spots for the views & photos as well, took photos & videos of us as good as a professional photographer, put so much effort in everything & always assured that we‘re happy with the pictures we got. He even made it possible for us to extend our tour with a boattrip and snorkeling (on additional costs obviously, which on we agreed before he took us there) where we could see the dolphins, turtles & many fishes, it was by far the best day we spent in Bali! We couldn‘t have had a better tour! Thank you so much Asta for making that possible & giving us memories for a lifetime!

Great time

Wizz was a great driver who planned the day out well, getting us to the nicest spots early without queues and went above and beyond to take photos such as climbing a tree! Had plenty of time at Crystal Beach at the end to do a swim too.

Lackluster Trip with Horrible Communication From Trip Operator

I've done a few Viator trips in Bali and this was the worst. To start with, normally you get some communication from the trip operator pretty quickly confirming the details for pickup -- especially in this case where you need to take a car to the harbor, then a boat, then another car on Nusa Penida. I didn't hear anything and I had to try contacting the operator the evening before. Eventually I got a WhatsApp message from my driver for the next morning Gede. Gede was on time in the morning which was great, but once we started heading to the harbor I asked him how we'd find the guide on Nusa Penida and he had no idea. Maybe it was a language barrier, but it felt like he had no idea what type of tour we were going on and he was just taking us from point A to B. This would be fine... except we had gotten no other info about what to expect or how to find the next guide... Blindly we followed him to the harbor where he got us checked in for a fast boat.... still with no idea what we'd find on the other side. While we were on the boat about 15 minutes out from Nusa Penida I got a WhatsApp message from the Nusa Penida driver -- Finally! That's great, but it came way too late -- if I hadn't had cell reception I wouldn't have known who to look for. We met up with Wizz on Nusa Penida and he proceeded to drive us around the island. He took some good pictures for us but otherwise was only doing the bare minimum as a tour guide. All our other Viator tour guides were excited to tell us about the places we were going... Wizz just drove and snapped pictures. Each photo spot is about an hour apart and you're just driving slowly on a very bumpy small road. When you arrive, you have 15-30 minutes to take some pictures and admire the view... then back into the car for another hour. The views are nice, but I don't think it's worth it to drive around so much just to get some pictures. In hindsight, we would've preferred to just go to either Diamond Beach or Kelingking Beach and actually make the hike down to the beach and relax there for a few hours. That would've made for a MUCH nicer trip. After all the photo spots, Wizz dropped us off at the harbor and I texted Gede to let him know we'd be getting on the 3:45PM boat so he could know to expect us. I also updated him when we boarded the boat and when we were 5 minutes away from the Bali harbor. Typically Balinese drivers arrive early and are ready to go when you arrive -- in this case Gede was no where to be found when we got off the boat in Bali and when I texted him he kept replying with vague "I'm on the way".... "please stay there" messages.... We waited blindly for 30 minutes waiting for him to arrive... the whole time being begged by tons of taxi drivers to go with them. The lack of communication from Gede at this point and the whole lackluster trip had us dying to get back to our hotel. tl;dr The views are nice, but not worth the logistics. The operator did a horrible job communicating.

Great guide, amazing views

We had a great day touring Nusa Penida with our guide Asta. He was so knowledgeable, energetic and hilarious! He knew all the best spots for photos and helped us take some amazing pictures and videos. We went on a Saturday in September and the island was packed with visitors. It was crowded, hot, humid, and sweaty, but Asta kept our spirits up and helped us make the most of our trip. We had a great time learning about the island and visiting the incredible beaches.

A must do in Bali

The best day exploring those breathtaking beaches! Our tour guide was the best we have had so far here in Bali. He captured the most amazing photographs for us. His customer service really was above and beyond. To top it all off he even helped us organize more on our day trip. He helped us book a private boat so we could also get some snorkeling in with the turtles and tropical fish. It really was an amazing day!

Amazing Views, Great Guide/Driver

Bawa was an excellent driver and tour guide. He had no problem with the tricky roads in Nusa Penida, and got us to the best sites early before they got too crowded. He took some amazing photos from us, and even climbed up a tree to get a better angle. We had a great time. Thank you Bawa!

An amazingly planned and action packed day!

Yanika, our guide for the day, was an extremely dependable and energetic person who my friend and I were lucky to entrust our activities with! She helped us see the most breathtaking views Nusa Penida has to offer, and was more than willing to accomodate us with picture taking! Overall, this tour has been the highlight of our trip, and I highly recommend it for anyone who is interested in a cultural experience and beautiful scenery!

Amazing tour guide!

Me and my partner had an excellent tour with Asta! He was lovely, charming and never ceased to make us laugh through out our journey! Our driver picked us up from our villa at 6:30 and dropped us at the harbour where we were introduced to Asta. We traveled to Nusa Penida and Asta told us about the local culture, showed us the beauty spots and took some amazing pictures! We cannot recommend this tour enough! It was brilliant from start to finish! Credit to Asta! Word of advice, you may need some walking shoes.

Splendid Experience

Amazing time

A beautiful day with Asta in the island☀️. My wife and I did this tour for first time in bali and we got Asta for our private tour guide. The day started around 6.30am from our hotel and ended after a beautiful day around 5.30pm. It was an amazing time that we spent on the island and we will keep as special memories☀️ I highly recomend this tour 10/10

Fun to see all the gorgeous beaches!

It was great to see all the beaches on the western side of the island. Our tour guide, Dede, was super friendly and gave us all the ins and outs of what to do on the island, whilst also being a great photographer! Would love to have him as a tour guide again.

Super west beach tour with Sutha as our best guide

We were so happy with our trip. Mainly thanks to our guide Sutha who was kind, funny and super helpful. We got picked up at our hostel which was super nice so we didn’t have to find a meeting point. We went down at Kelingking beach and there were no stress at all. We got time to swim and he helped us to take beautiful pictures at every spot. He knew all the good tricks to avoid the crowded tourist areas and showed us all the good picture spots. We were lucky to even see Manta Rays at Broken beach. When driving from place to place we heard all the good sing along song which created a good vibe. Thank you Sutha for a great day.

Disappointing tour guide/company

I feel communication is key to any travel experience. Our driver Taatoo not only didn't speak English, he was an aggressive unsafe driver and would not allow me the pleasure of walking down to Kelingking beach cliffs stating there wasn't enough time. I told him that was the only reason I booked this trip. So disappointing! He made us wait for him while he smoked his cigarettes with friends with no consideration for us. We finally asked him to take us back to the first boat off the island. We left 3 hours early. That would have been more than enough time for a walk at Kelingking beach. Such a disappointing experience! I contacted my travel agent Nicktours and provided feedback. I don't know the name of the company Nick contracted with. Beware of who you book with. Not all agencies will provide good communication. Seek information before you go.

Yanik great tour guide of Nusa Pedina - MUST DO

We had a great day with the wonderful Yanik. She was a fantastic guide with such a friendly personality, she showed us some of the best sights Nusa Pedina has to offer. We highly recommend the tour and for anyone to meet Yanik, it was great to get to know her and her knowledge of the island was great. She deserves the world 🙏🏼😊

What a day !! I would absolutely recommend ! Asta, our guide, and Sudyana (I hope I got his name right…), our driver, were absolutely incredible. Asta took care of us from start to finish (12 hours !) with an incredible smile, a true professionalism and some very well placed humor. He only had great recommendations, took amazing pictures and went above and beyond every step of the way. Really truly 5 stars service !!! Our driver was also really amazing, always very careful and gentle. The roads are not easy but he drove magnificently ! Really a super experience from top to bottom. I would recommend to do this tour a few days after arrival as it is a long day and jet lag can play tricks on you. But really, Asta and Sudyana were absolutely wonderful people and they deserve all the credit for the success of this journey. Ask for them and you will not be disappointed !!

Nusa Penida after 4 private trips

This was our fifth private trip with Putu Bali Driver. Again we chose the same driver Rukun. Excellent trip from start to the end. If you need trustful and helpful driver we recommend him. He is a fantastic open and comunicative person. Great in taking pictures of us.

Definitely recommend!

My husband and I booked this tour on short notice and we are so happy that we did. The tour from start to finish was outstanding and we highly recommend. Our tour guide, Yanik, we had on a previous tour with this company and she is friendly, knowledgeable, and very engaging. Our pickup was on time and the driver was very friendly as well. It was a smooth transfer to the pier and then a boat ride to Nusa Penida. The boat ride was thankfully very smooth and relaxing. We were worried that it would be very rough - it all depends on the weather. I will note that this is a public boat ride so it can get packed. If that doesn’t bother you, then you should be fine. Yanik was a fantastic guide and great with taking our photos and videos. She was super friendly, helpful and informative. Great fun and spoke English. Throughout the tour I had plenty of time to take in each of the stunning locations and never felt rushed or pressured to move on at any time. The roads in Nusa Penida can also be a little hazardous so having a driver was very helpful. I can’t imagine driving myself around the island with all the hills and potholes. The return trip back to Bali and the taxi transfer back to my hotel were just a smooth as pick up. I highly recommend this tour and Yanik. The tour was a great price for an amazing day out.

Fairly Ordinary and Hard Yards!

We were a group of +60 year olds on the 'West Island Trip' and this tour is definately not recommended for older people, it is exhausting, dangerourous, drawn out and hard work. To start with we were waiting for our driver to pick us up and he arrived with 2 people in his vehicle already. The car was only suitable for 4 passengers and there were 4 of us, simply far too unsafe and uncomfortable to squeeze four more people in. Eventually the driver left and another vehicle arrived and he wanted IR400,000 to take us to the terminal stating it had become a 'private transfer'. Following much discussion we eventually were on our way. The terminal was a nightmare with 100's of people waiting to board various boats for island travel around bali. We were eventually ready to board the boat, there were lots of boats backed up to the beach and we were required to walk into the water and climb up onto the rear end. This process involved removing your shoes placing them into a bin prior to boarding. Once on board the 96 seater boat sat 8 people across in very cramped and hot conditions. It gets worse, on arrival you were required to disembark the same way but this time as your feet hit the bottom you landed on sharp coral which was extreemly painful. We saw a young man, Agus, holding our name and he was our driver guide for the day. Agus was the highlight of the day, very friendly, obliging and happy to show his island to us. Now comes the walk to his car through what could be best decribed as a garbage tip, there were six of us in our car which was comfortable and clean and we set of on a 'roller coaster' trip on the roughest and narrow roads, a 'thrill seekers' paradise. We eventually arrived, a little shaken, at Kellingking Cliff and Agus eventually found a parking spot amongst the hundreds of tour vehicles. We then walked through a village to the cliff. The view was amazing and the highlight of the trip howevere it required transversing on a lot of uneven and steep tracks. The island is made up of very sharp and uneven limestone, a nightmare, esspecilly if you were to trip and fall. The roller coaster continued and the roads got worse till we arrived at Broken Beach, a great photo location and the walk continued to 'Angel Billabong' which was OK, sort of. We then had to walk up a large set of concrete stairs, each step was at least an 18" plus step up, or half a metre. Eventually at the top of the climb was a very small restaurant where we had lunch (included). Following lunch we travelled down the hill to Crystal Bay Beach where we were left for 2 hours before being taken back to the boat area where we waited another hour before boarding through the coral again climbing onto the boat and back to Sanur. Maybe the snorkling trip would be worth the the effort.
