Great tour for first timers

Had a fantastic couple of days on the 2 Days Best of Bali Tour. Nova was our driver and guide and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was also very flexible if we wanted to spend more or less time in a particular location. It was a great tour for our first time in Bali. Lunch and dinner is included on both days, and the food was plentiful and quite good. Also, bottled water is provided throughout. Would highly recommend it.

Highlights and best point of Bali

Apart from the tourist locations, both day lunches was awesome. The tour is well planned, driver was cooperative.

Culturally Rich Bali in a Short Trip

Rich heritage of Bali was covered during the past two days trip. We enjoyed the places and it's hidden cultural impact on Balinese people and their society. Our driver/guide - Sudama was a local knowlegeable and a friendly person, who made the trip interactive and full of information. Thank you Viator for helping me creating such amazing memories.

Star Bali and our driver wayan were so amazing and accommodating! Super responsive and wrote every detail. Wayan, our driver was so nice and knowledgable. He was soooo friendly and a great driver! The tour was awesome and stops were perfect. All encompassing overview of Bali. They added extra stops per our request! And, we were engaged during the tour!!! Wayan communicated with my fiancé and it went off without a hitch! So incredible. We also used the service for airport transfers which was perfect. I would recommend star Bali wholeheartedly! Bali 2 day tour

Although the tour highlights were fascinating (esp. the Ubud Monkey Forest and rice terraces), we spent too many hours getting from place to place in vans that left the third row passenger cramped. Also, although our driver/guide was very accommodIng, his English was hard to understand and he could have been more communicative during our lengthy drives.

Memorable two days in Bali

Busy schedule, but never felt rushed. Guide was very accommodating to our interests and always helpful. Appreciated the quality and condition of our vehicle.

Well Organized 2 Day Tour

My wife and I scheduled the two day tour of Bali as it was our first trip to Indonesia and we wanted to see and learn as much as possible. First for the positives: The tour was very well organized and structured. Whoever made the agenda did a great job of mixing in different experiences and ensuring that the path minimized travel time. For those of you who have not been to Indonesia traffic is a challenge. The fact that we were able to see/do so much in 2 days is a positive. This was a private tour... just the two of us and our guide. The vehicle was nice and air conditioned! Our guide was incredibly courteous and displayed the hospitality that Bali is known for. He made driving here look easy and took very good pictures for us. Now for the negatives: As part of the tour lunch and dinner was included. I am a frequent traveler and willing to try any new food. The lunch and dinner that we were served was not at all up to our expectations. In fact, after two days of lunch and one dinner we decided to cancel the second dinner and go to a place by our hotel. I would suggest that you make your own selections for dinner. The other opportunity for improvement was our guide's English. He struggled to follow/understand our questions. Overall this was a great tour and we are glad that we booked it. As far as expectations, if you can survive the food and enjoy the tour from a friendly local instead of an experienced guide, you will have a great experience.

its a wonderful trip

we had a wonderful time with our tour guide Albi. he is knowledgeable and kind. lets feel at home. the itinerary designed covering all the places we want to visit, including the lunches and dinners with the views of volcano, of beach and sea, and of green rice fields. yes, I still remember the great taste of luwak coffee.

Great two days

Our driver was Wayan Parta and he was so good: excellent driver, accommodating, calm, full of information. We had a hiccup at the start due to a hotel problem, and he found a way to shift things around over the two days so that we still saw everything we wanted to see. Comfortable car, excellent air conditioning! The food at the volcano restaurant was fine with a great view but the food near the three lakes/garden was very poor indeed. Communication with the owner was fast and comprehensive. Very glad we booked here.

Tour timing not as described

Day one... got picked up on time by the driver at my hotel in Ubud at 8am. Vehicle was clean and the driver Nova was friendly. We left to start the tour. First location at the Temple was still closed upon our arrival. We did eventually hit the locations in the morning. Driver finally stopped for lunch at around 2pm. We headed to the monkey forest and we were done there by 4pm. The driver asked if we wanted dinner and we said we did since it was included. He acted as if this was a surprise and made us believe this tour ended at 6pm which by the itinerary it indicates 13 hours the first day. Then on the second day we agreed to get picked up at 9:30am at our hotel again in Ubud. After a long day of traveling and seeing the sights we finally arrived at Tanah lot at 4pm. We again were told to meet the driver at the exit gate at 6pm to allow enough time to have dinner nearby and be back at our hotel by 7:30pm. The sunset did not go down until 6:30-6:45pm which we missed and we were back at our hotel by 8pm. Which by my calculation is only 10 hours and not the 12 hours as stated on their website. I don’t know if the driver was in a rush and wanted to get home or by having us skip dinner on the first night he made some extra money off of us. Unfortunately, we did not have WiFi to log on and see the exact itinerary. Future travelers be aware and take pics of the itinerary if you use this travel company. Buyer beware!

Very good driver.

This tour deal was good and the driver was accommodating. We would not have seen so much of Bali on our own. The Food included on the deal was Very Poor. The buffet lunches were very poor quality.( stodgy battered food ), the seafood tea was inedible, the prawns were too dry to eat, the fish full of bones and the squid very tough. Very disappointing as the venue was excellent. This tour could be excellent with different cruisine.

Covering the main attractions in two days

This is a tour for someone who is in Bali for only a few days and wants to see the main attractions. There is a lot of driving involved, The guide was somewhat knowledgeable about history and life in Bali in general. His English could have been better but we managed.

EXCELLENT TOUR

Great Intensive and Extensive Tour of Bali

Wayan Jose was an awesome guide. We got to see a waterfall, temples, the beach, a coffee plantation, markets, and rice fields! The days are long, but you see so much. The food is buffet style which is great. Also, as a solo traveler, Wayan Jose was able to take lots of pictures of me and was able to adjust the schedule so I could spend more time in the places I was more interested in. My favorite parts were the coffee plantation, monkey forest, and Ulun Danu Beratan Temple.

Intense introduction to Bali!

This is a great way to see the major tourists sites in two long days. Got to see parts of the island that we probably would not have seen otherwise!

Great way to see Bali Culture

We decided to do a 2 day tour because we only had a short time in Bali and wanted to just see as much of the Island as we could. Going up to the mountain and the coffee farm were highlights for us. We learnt alot about the culture and traditions in Bali from our driver Wayan. Wayan was so friendly and funny, really wasy to talk to and he looked after us so well... he's a sweetheart! Having his knowledge was very good on the tour, he can tell you exactly how large the lakes etc. If he asks you to look in the box for bunnies, don't do it! We would definately reccommend this tour to anyone who is in Bali for the first time!

Amazing tour with I wayan Nova

This 2 day tour was amazing. Our driver was so kind and hospitable. The tour was informative, exciting and included so much. We really felt like we explored all of Bali in two days. We would recommend this tour to anyone.

Probably the best guided tour we ever had, our driver\guide Wayun Parta was very nice, knoledgeable, professional and honest and safe on the road. We got to see everything that s in the itinerary plus a little time for shopping but we where not presured to buy anything. It was a wonderful experience and and I can recommend Wayan Parta for any of your future tour in Bali!

Amazing experience!

Overall, we had an amazing 2 days. Our tour was conducted by the tour guide/driver named Krishna, who was very knowledgeable, spoke decent English and was super friendly. What I also liked about Krishna was that he was very polite and flexible. If there was a certain part that we were really interested (outside of our itinerary) or wanted to stay longer at, no issues at all. Also, I'm not sure what all the other people meant when they complained about the food, as we really enjoyed it (along with amazing views from the restaurants). Initially, we thought that the experience may be a bit too pricy BUT it's definitely worth it. To conclude, definitely do it!

Nice Tour

Enjoyed a wonderful tour in Bali. I visited nice places and it was really interesting. Sudama, the guide was really friendly and a careful driver. He took care of me and he even was open for my extra requests. I can really recommend this tour.

2 day sightseeing trip

We had a great two day tour with Wayan Parta, he had great stories to tell about Indonesian culture and way of live whilst driving us all over Bali, thank you very much. The two days were more than adequate to see most of the temples volcanoes and lakes around the northern half of Bali

Pros: 1. Well maintained, good quality spacious car 2. English speaking friendly driver 3. Restaurants provided with the package were having beautiful views and variety of food. 4. Competitive price 5. Flexible in payment. They accept both USD & IDR. No advance payment required. You can pay in person in the airport. Cons: We could not find any cons as such. Only thing worth mentioning is not in Star Bali's hand but the food in Bali as a whole is quite sweet. If you like spicy food may be you can discuss this with Wayan. He may provide you alternatives. For our honeymoon in Bali, we had chosen Star Bali Tour as our travel partner. Wayan from Star Bali team helped us plan our trip, answered all our queries and provided customized trip plans in affordable cost. We chose one day Tanah Lot trip & one day Ubud trip. English speaking driver, Mr. Gede Jana, greeted us in DPS Airport and dropped us to our hotel. He was our friend, philosopher and guide through out the trip. He taught us Bahasa language .. 2 day tour with Galih across the island

We booked through Viator the day before - very convenient and worked out perfectly. Our guide/driver was Galih - great guy, we highly recommend him! He is reliable, knowledgeable, considerate, kind and good fun. He was guide, driver, entertainer and photographer in one. His car is modern, comfortable, well-maintained and clean. The trip itself covered a lot of Bali and we enjoyed it. Great way to get some first impressions! The only disappointment was the food provided throughout the two days. Similar to other travellers we would have paid more for better quality food - Bali has much better to offer. Not the tour for foodies. Other than that recommended tour and operator.

Booked this 2 day tour through Viatour, great choice! Our tour guide/driver, Wayan Arya, made this a very enjoyable experience. He was pleasant, informative and always punctual. We are an elderly couple with one or two health issues and Wayan was very flexible, adapting the stops to suit our requirements. The buffet lunch on day one left a lot to be desired! Dinner at night, on the beach, was not what we expected. We would have been prepared to pay more for a higher standard. Lunch on day two was significantly better. Dinner, however, was a letdown. We stayed long enough to eat some fruit then left. Thankfully Wayan was easily located. Good tour, saw a lot in the 2 days, in spite of Bali’s traffic, but was let down by the standard of food and some of the establishments. Would recommend this tour company.

2 Day Famous Tour

We were met and driven around Bali for 2 days by Sudama, a very knowledgeable and friendly local man. We were delighted with this tour which was the equivalent of squeezing a quart into a pint pot! Both days started relatively early (even earlier for a Sudama!) and he sent us a message on both days to let us know he had arrived. We saw many of the crafts which the Balinese are known for such as silver work, wood carving, painting, dancing and food. Agriculture is also a major employment area on Bali with many different fruits being grown in addition to rice and vegetables. We also visited temples and went to the monkey forest. Out only criticism was the quality if lunches we received. The food, generally, was not kept hot and as a result we did not particularly enjoy it; in fact we decided not to have the 2 dinners included with this tour for which we received full refunds. All in all, a very enjoyable and educational couple of days thanks to Sudama.

Courteous and knowledgeable tour guide.

We had a great time at Bali! Our tour guide Mr. Wayan Sudama was awesome, nice, pleasant and accommodating. He answered most of our questions related to the Balinese culture, tourist spots, etc. We actually learned a lot in just 2 days with him. He speaks really good english which is not as common in Bali. The tour was comprehensive and covered a lot of the tourist spots in Bali. The food choices for lunch and dinner were okay. I highly recommend Wayan Sudama as your tour guide in Bali. Great tour!

Eindrucksvolle 2-Tages Tour - 100%ige Weiterempfehlung :)

Wir haben im Juni 2019 diese "Best of Bali" 2 Tages Tour gebucht und waren mehr als begeistert von der Vielzahl an exotischen Tempeln und außergewöhnlichen Landschaftskulissen. Die Reise erfolgte privat (nur 2 Personen) in einem neuen, klimatisieren SUV. Mit Herrn Sudama hatten wir einen sehr zuvorkommenden und herzlichen einheimischen Fahrer der uns in der Früh direkt beim Hotel abholte und uns am Abend wieder dort absetzte. Herr Sudama brachte uns nicht nur rasch und sicher von einer Attraktion zur nächsten, sondern hatte auch interessante Fakten und historische Infos zu allen Ausflugszielen und die balinesische Kultur parat (in Englisch). Besonders begeistert waren wir von der Aussicht beim Mittagessen mit Blick auf die Vulkanlandschaft und beim Abendessen in Jimbaran, wo wir in der ersten Reihe mit Blick auf Strand und Meer gesessen sind. Wir können diese Tour und Herrn Sudama als Tour-Guide wirklich nur empfehlen :)
