We had the BEST time with Kinsey as our guide! He was funny, light-hearted, knowledgeable, patient, and his passion and love for people, his job, nature, and the Florida wildlife radiated from beginning to end! We saw beautiful scenery, the bluest of water, manatees, dolphins, jellyfish, a spider crab, and even a bonnet head shark! Such a fun, unique, and hands-on way to experience the island. We are so glad we booked this tour. P.S. Kinsey gets EXTRA stars for going above and beyond when it comes to caring for the people on his tours! We did this tour a couple days before the devastation of Hurricane Helene 🌀 hit Anna Maria Island. Kinsey knows we’re were staying in the island, and he called us later in the day to make sure we were safe and had evacuated. 🩵

So so worth it!

The experience was so much fun, Kinsey had the best personality and made sure we got the most out of our tour! We got to see manatees, dolphins, and quite a few other types of wildlife. I would 100% do this again!

Family adventure with Tommy

Our Guide to was Tommy. He was filled with knowledge, will answer all questions. Going on the adventure plan to be quiet and calm. It may take time to find them but worth it, Tommy went the extra mile to make sure we got a great experience. Only strenuous paddling you have to do is across the current where the Gulf and Bay meet.

Beautiful Morning in Nature

My friend and I had a Wonderful morning kayaking with Tommy last week. He was enthusiastic and fun as he shared Beer Can Island and the tradition of the shells with us, and then ran down the beach pointing out and videoing two herds of manatees. He clearly loves what he is doing and sharing it with others. I highly recommend this tour.

Awesome Trip

Kenzie was excellent and very knowledgeable. We were traveling for our anniversary. He made the experience one to remember. We saw 6 manatee, dolphin, sting ray, star fish, crab, osprey, lots of other birds and went for a little swim at beer can island. I would highly recommend this company. Excellent customer service.

Loved It!

Jonah was an excellent guide. He was super friendly and explained everything well. Even though we didn’t get to experience manatees during our kayaking trip the owner made sure we did get to see them. He personally took us to an area the manatees like to stay. It was a beautiful couple of hours to spend in such a beautiful place.

Great experience!

I had an incredible time with Tommy and James! They were so knowledgeable and engaging, not to mention seemed like they genuinely wanted to be there showing us the manatees. We saw a bunch as well as some cool birds and they were so accommodating when I forgot my shoes on one of our stops! Would definitely go again with them.

Manatee Kayak Tour - 8/10/24

Had lots of fun on this tour! Highly recommend, we saw a mom and calf dolphin, osprey, manatees, and other wildlife. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Jonah and Tommy were super nice and knowledgeable.

Best Kayak Eco-Tour on AMI

Highly recommend booking with FBA. The team there is knowledgeable, fun and experienced. Our guide Jonah made sure we explored hot spots for good photos in addition to eco-related discoveries! We had a close up viewing of a female/calf dolphin pair, along with manatees and osprey. Thank you, Jonah and Tommy for a great AMI kayaking excursion! Your lunch recommendation was spot on, too!

Highlight of our trip to the USA

I have never written a review before, but I wanted to do this as I thought the tour was amazing. We came from Switzerland and this was one of the highlights of our USA tour. The team were great and the guides were very helpful. We managed to see three manatees and thought the trip was great.

Jonah was great! Went ro Beer Can Island which was beautiful. Saw four Manatees. So much fun. Do yourself a favor and book this kayaking adventure!

Seeing manatees and dolphins so close to the kayaks was amazing. Joanah and Evan were awesome guides.

No manatee in sight today

Guides were young, friendly and fun! Kayaks were nice and “Beer Can Island” was really beautiful. We were disappointed that we never saw any manatee or dolphin. We did see Osprey and tri colored Herron

Brilliant Tour!

We had a great kayak manatee tour with Jonah. It was so much fun and we seen some of the most beautiful sights. Jonah was knowledgeable and friendly. A must do if on AMI!!

So much fun

Tommy was a wonderful gide, super knowledgeable and kind. He made sure that everyone in the group had a chance to see the manatees. Evan was absolutely fabulous as well, he was in the kayak with my 11 year old son and was playful and kept him entertained the entire time. My son says he has great energy.

My family had an amazing time! We saw 8-10 Manatee and Tommy went out of his way to make sure everyone enjoyed the trip. He sent us family pictures and a video of the manatees. We will definable be back.

Manatees and the experience of a lifetime!

Experience of a lifetime! Better than we could have ever asked for. We had a wonderful time kayaking at a nice pace. Timmy gave lots of information throughout the tour. He and Evan were professional and ready. Well executed experience.

Great experience

We had a great experience, we got to see a Manatee, so fun! We had Tommy and Nick as our tour guides, they were so helpful and patience teaching out to paddle our kayak.

Personalized manatee experience

The kayaking was very fun and the guided tour took us to secluded, picturesque beaches and through prime manatee spoting areas. The guides were knowledgeable, fun, and respectful of the wildlife we were around. In addition to the wildlife seen kayaking, there was also a bird sanctuary and sea turtle nesting sites at the beach stop. After the tour, the guide led us by car overland to a park where we were able to see 6 to 8 manatees feeding, watering, and living their best lives. If you want to see manatees in the wild, DO NOT SKIP THIS EXTRA EXCURSION!

My daughter and I took this tour and highly recommend it. We were not experienced in kayaking and had no problems. The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. We stopped at a small beach that was beautiful. They also let people follow them to a park on land by car after the tour was over. Don’t miss it. Bring water and sunscreen.

Lots of manatees!

We saw a ton of manatees and had some really close encounters with them. It was an awesome experience!

Kayak morning adventure

Excellent morning kayak adventure with Tommy and Nick. We did come across one massive manatee. And other wildlife. And discovered some creeks and passages that we weren’t aware of. Would definitely recommend.

The trip was fantastic! We saw manatees, dolphins, tortoise nests, a bird hatching sanctuary and a beach from Paradise. The owner/leader had a deep knowledge of the wildlife and surrounding nature. He was terrific at engaging the group and his enthusiasm kept everyone smiling.

Excellent experience

Tommy was a wonderful guide for beginners and a customer who was nervous out on the water. I would definitely kayak with him again! It was a cloudy day but we got to see about 5 manatee anyway!

Amazing experience!! We had the best time and got to see a manatee, dolphin, and beautiful views! Our tour guide Tommy was wonderful - friendly, helpful, and shared so many interesting facts about what we were seeing around us. He took pictures/video of everything and shared with us after the tour, so we could just enjoy the tour. He even provides support for first-time kayakers - so no excuses not to go. Highly recommend including this in your trip if you are in the Anna Maria/Bradenton/Sarasota area!

Tommy & Evan were very communicative about where to meet for our trip . They were extremely knowledgeable and shared great information regarding the wildlife . Great personalities and made the event fun! We’ll got out and do it again .

Beautiful beach and Tommy was awesome at sharing about hte wildlife and and the area. Would've liked to see manatees, but we enjoyed the beach and kayaking nonetheless. Highly recommend this and this guide. He recommended a cove in a nieghborhood where the mantees hang out and we did indeed get to view them there. So grateful for this added info. It was amazing.

Awesome morning with Tommy!

Our family of 7 spent the morning with Tommy in early June and it was an absolute blast! We saw manatees right from the get go, close up, dolphins throughout, and we loved our time in the sandbar finding shells and sealife. The water was so clear and beautiful. Tommy was the best guide and was a perfect mix of fun and information. Don’t hesitate to book this tour and if you get Tommy you’re super lucky!

Tour guide was great. He was always updating us and even though we missed the manatees during the actual tour we had a lot of fun. He messaged us after the tour and gave us an address where there were a lot of manatees. We drove there and saw them. Thanks again.

Fantastic tour, MUST DO in AMI!!

My husband, I and our 2 teenage boys did the dolphin and manatee kayak tour on May 31. Tommy's tour was incredible. He was super nice, knowledgeable, and fun to be with. My main goal was to see manatees and dolphins and boy did we! We were also lucky enough to see a sting ray fly out of the water right in front of us! Tommy did a great job educating us about the wildlife and ecosystems in the area including the local sea turtle and bird's nests. Kayak tour is the way to go . 100%, highly recommend!!

Relaxing, calming, adventurous

We had a fantastic experience with our guide Jonah!! Even though we were late, they offered to extend our time. Even though we did not see a manatee, we had such a wonderful experience and we would highly recommend this trip!!

It was our family’s first time on kayaks and the whole crew explained everything well and we immediately got the hang of it. The location is gorgeous with a ton of wildlife and natural beauty to see.
