A wonderful authentic experience in Sapporo with a delicious meal to end! From start to finish it was well explained and everyone got involved. Our 10yo really enjoyed the experience.

Super fun to make soba noodles

It’s so fun and easy too. My daughter loved the process of make soba noodles. Take San made it simple and pleasant! When we enjoyed the noodles we made we were so proud and it tasted specially good. BTW the soba is authentic as it can be. Strongly recommend this restaurant if you are here in Sapporo and if you have children. It’s really fun🤩.

Amazing soba making experience! Had an awesome time and definitely recommend! The teacher was amazing and instruction were clear.

Intimate experience that was one of a kind

This was amazing. We felt like we were invited into someone’s home. Taku and his partner made our group of 5 feel like family has they guided us through the soba making process. We enjoyed our creation even though the noodles ended up all different sizes. The tempura that came with the soba we made was fabulous as well….especially the asparagus which was in season. We would do this again!

Fantastic soba making experience!

Had a great time making soba under Taku. He was very thorough and encouraging in his instruction. Taku demonstrated all the steps and gave us pointers on dos and don’ts before having us try it ourselves.

Knead, roll, and cut soba noodles!

The experience was very straight forward and fun! We were able to arrive a little early too and get started ahead of schedule. You learn how to knead, roll, and cut soba noodles. The staff spoke enough English for a non-Japanese speaker to understand the directions.

Highly recommend!

It was very fun to get your hands in the dough and learn the art of making soba! Taku was a great teacher and patient with our soba making skills! The meal was so delicious! Along with our soba, they served us tempura which included shrimp, vegetables, and scallops! Oishikatta desu! Highly recommend.

Great meal making for the whole family

What a great experience for the whole family! With our two young children, they felt completely immersed and part of making their own meal!

Quick and easy soba-making class

Even when we were half an hour late (got misled by the GPS!), Taku-san was very patient with us and we managed to complete the whole soba-making process in time. Every one of us got a huge serving of soba and tempura - dinner was all settled after class! Overall a great experience.

Learned the Hokkaido way of making soba

I really learned a lot of how soba was made. The chef instructor is really knowledgeable and helpful. The tempura and the deer venison are amazing. The venison was so good even without the sauces. I highly recommend trying the venison!

Tasty and fun!

We had a very small group size (3) which made it very intimate, and it was such an enjoyable, hands-on experience! Our favorite part was learning to slice the soba noodles the traditional way, after we had kneaded the flour into the noodle dough! The instructor kept it lively with humor and enthusiasm! Afterwards we got to eat the noodles, along with various tempura that restaurant prepared for us to pair with the dish! So delicious!

Delicious soba making with a professional

A very fun experience! Hands on and a definite workout to get the dough to the right consistency but our lovely soba sensei guided us through every step of the way. Best of all you get to eat your creation at the end. A great way to sample soba in Hokkaido. Highly recommended!

Fun Soba Making

We had a great time learning how to make Soba Noodles. The restraunt was easy to get to and very helpful with showing us what to do.

Not very good value for...

Not very good value for the money. Only made and cut the dough. There was no cooking soba or tempura. Also, no discussion of history or Japanese cooking techniques.

Teuchi Soba Mondo experience.

Wonderful experience for the whole family. Great with kids, our Master soba maker showed us how to make handmade soba noodles then prepared an excellent and delicious soba noodles we just made. Our hosts provided a welcoming and wonderful experience.

Great time preparing soba

It was a great experience to prepare the soba they were really nice to us, even though we were late because we did not find the location.

Soba making experience

Taku was a very patient chef who continued to encourage us along the way, giving clear step by step directions. He also gave us great information about the soba-making process and the local ingredients that make it unique to Sapporo and Hokkaido. Our meal included our own finished soba noodles and and absolutely scrumptious tempura, using the fresh Hokkaido scallops and fresh asparagus. Taku even gave us tips on how we might make soba at home, although nothing can top what we made today! Highly recommend to everyone, even those who are inexperienced cooks. We would love to come back for a "refresher" course! Five stars!

Hands on soba making experience from mixing, kneading and cutting. Excellent atmosphere and fun. You eat what you make. Dipping sauce is tasty.

Handmade soba experience

This was my first time experiencing this in my life. It was a great experience. Also, the soba noodles that I made by hand were delicious! Mr. Mizuki was a very friendly person, and my girlfriend and I had a great time together. It was a great memory.
