Our catamaran cruise with Santorini Star was incredible. The staff was amazing - Fedra and Xristina were so nice and attentive, making sure everyone had drinks and waters and delicious appetizers. They were very knowledgeable about the island and the places we were visiting. The lunch was so so good too. I believe the tour can be up to 18 people but we lucked out and only had 7 people on ours and everyone was so nice. It was great to get to know the other tourists. Could not recommend the cruise more!

Our favorite day!

This was our favorite day of our trip! The captain and crew were amazing, the boat was a blast and the views were unbeatable!! My husband and I would recommend this excursion to anyone going to Santorini! 10/10!!

The way a catamaran cruise should be done

5 stars all the way. Excellent service, constant "what can we do for you" attitude, delicious food. The boat had 14 customers on it, compared with other boats of similar size that had 40. I can't recommend these guys enough!

A great sunset cruise!

We booked this thru Tripadvisor (based on the reviews) before we arrived in Santorini and it didn’t disappoint. Good communication on the morning of the cruise to reconfirm the pick-up time. Air conditioned minibus took us to and from the port. There were 13 on our trip. Ellie and the crew were great, the food and drinks were excellent and the cruise took in all the sites and gave us the opportunity to snorkel and, having done the afternoon cruise, take in the incredible sunset. Highly recommended and a great way to see the sites!

LOUD TECHNO MUSIC ALL DAY!

I want to give 1 star for the music and 5 for the rest of the event. If you like loud techno music then this is the cruise for you. The crew was asked several times to turn it down and it lasted a few minutes then back up. They were asked to play something different, which they did for a short period, and people on the boat started to dance and enjoy it. Sadly it was switched back to techno which the crew enjoyed but not the passengers. Everything else about the cruise was perfect! The food was delicious, the crew was nice, the sites and swimming were amazing.

Beat time ever!!

Had the best time I highly recommend taking this excursion. It was the highlight of our Santorini trip. Best part about Santorini was this catamaran boat. The waters were gorgeous. The crew was fantastic very informative and so pleasant. The food they gave was so delicious. Just exceptional service loved everything about this experience would 100% do it again and definitely referring my friends and family.

A fantastic experience made better by a great crew!

For those of you thinking twice about booking this experience - think no more! The day out went seamlessly, from the air conditioned bus pickup, through to the boarding of the boat and the detail of what the day had in store by Angie, Vasilis and Giannis. The trip out on the sea was made better by the fantastic weather, music, not to mention the amazing food that Angie made for the guests on board! We never ran out of drinks (Although they could have been colder) and everyone on the boat had an amazing time. The swimming spots were lovely, with a good amount of time at each area, and the sunset at the end of the day was beautiful. Thanks to the amazing crew on Santorini Star - Angie, Vasilia & Giannis!

Most incredible Santorini experience

This was the most amazing experience. The hosts Harius and Ftena were incredible - the best, along with captain Glanius. This is a highly recommended experience in Santorini, you will love it like we did.

Perfect Day

This is trip that you shouldn’t miss out on. Fantastic trip from start to finish. The crew we had Angie,Giannis and Petros. They couldn’t do enough for you. The food that was prepared freshly on board by Angie was 10 out of ten. The scenery and stops we made for a swim were absolutely stunning. If you are thinking about doing this 100% do it. We had including my family of four 11 people on board and by the end everyone was mixing. I don’t normally leave reviews but felt compelled to do so this time. Great trip .

Best staff and the dog on the Catamaran, family-friendly.

The staff and the dog on the ship were the best part of our trip. Of course, Santorini is beautiful, but we had the best time on this Catamaran. We were picked up in a very nice van and dropped off at the port without any delay, we were on it. The staff took us to couple places which were beautiful. The food was great. We did not take Sunset cruise, so our catamaran was not crowded during the day for our five hour tour. It was cold in May 2024. Disturb at 23 places to swim in the ocean. The best part was the dog, she was very nice, playful, and did not bark at all.

Fantastic time. Do It!

Awesome time. Great crew and lots of fun. Well worth the time and cost. Spectacular weather and beautiful scenery. Crew was knowledgeable about area and told interesting stories.

Not the experience I was expecting at all!!!

The swimming and views of Santorini were amazing. Unfortunately that was the most positive thing I have to say about the day. The staff and the boat fell short… very short. Only half an hour into the trip the toilet had run out of toilet paper and was filthy. The food was decent enough… edible. The two young deckhands (I don’t know their names but a girl with long dark braids and a male) were far from engaging - completely disinterested and were barely present - maybe they had a long day 🙄 but it felt like working the tour was a huge inconvenience. I had to ask for drinks the entire day, we were told a few things about Santorini here and there by the female deckhand - but honestly the other amazing tours I have done elsewhere on my travels over the last three weeks made this one seem like a disorganised and chaotic mess with unprofessional staff who clearly don’t take their job seriously. On the trip home it turned into a party cruise with the staff absolutely blasting offensive music which you could not get away from anywhere on the vessel. The female deckhand was more interested in yelling out to the staff of the other boats belonging to the company (one of who the boat was racing against, performing dangerous manoeuvres whilst underway at speed and passing within a few metres of the bow and port side of the other boat). She spent the trip back dancing to the extremely loud music whilst texting and taking pictures on her phone - unfortunately this was not a luxury cruise (nor was is relaxing) as it has been advertised as. If it was advertised as a booze cruise or a party cruise for 20 somethings that would have been more accurate. The cruise was only redeemed by the amazing views of Santorini and the crystal blue waters which were amazing to swim in (and a chance to escape from the boat). About 15 minutes before we pulled back into port some other guests had also had enough of the horrible music being blasted and asked for it to be turned down. Glad there were no kids on board due to the explicit lyrics and constant swearing. At the end of the cruise the female deckhand was trying to persuade all the guests to leave a positive review so they could win a competition within the company (apparently a trip for getting the most positive reviews amongst the other guides). If the day had of warranted such a review, I would have been happy to oblige - but as someone who spent 12 years in the Australian navy, I have had better days out on ships I was working on, and didn’t pay for 🤦🏼‍♀️ This ‘exclusive luxury cruise’ quickly turned into a chaotic, stressful and dangerous day on the water with the boats staff failing to maintain a safe distance between another boat from the same company. It seemed to be only a handful of the boats from this company conducting the day like this, as there were multiple boats from the same company which seemed to be operating in a professional and safe manner. I suggest counselling your staff on professionalism, catering for other cultures and ages - also more importantly- safety while operating a maritime vessel with passengers on board as you have their lives in your hands!

Amazing experience

This is best cruise in Santorini. I totally recommend it to everyone the capitan Vasilis was amazing. Crew Yannis and Angie were great. Angie made such an amazing dinner. The cruise had 3 stops where you can swim open bar with soft drinks water wine and beer. Overall it was 100000000/10.

Best boat trip in Santorini

So happy I booked this trip to do in Santorini. By far my favorite experience on the island. The food, crew, and views were absolutely amazing. Highly recommend doing this with friends, family etc.

Great people gorgeous views. & wine. Lots of wine.

Eddy and his history information was an awesome guide. I enjoyed the swimming the most with a glass of wine in hand. It was easy to make friends with the group and the open bar certainly helped. The sunset had some low clouds, so it wasn’t as spectacular as I saw the night before. The price was reasonable because they picked me up from my hotel. I had at least 4 beers & 2 glasses of wine 🍷 🍷 The scenery was gorgeous and it’s really cool to see the geography from the sea level perspective. The hot spring had lots of sulfur in it. He warned us not to wear silver jewelry as it would turn colors. My jewelry was fine but my bleached blonde hair turned orange in places. Bring hair conditioner with you to help keep it from happening.

Santo dream

The catamaran cruise was fantastic. The itinerary was perfect. We went swimming 3 times and saw all the right spots with the views that Santorini offers. The captain and the 2 girls crew were awesome. Literally! Friendly, knowledgeable, hard working and went above and beyond their job to satisfy everyone. The seafood, salad, prawns, mussels, pasta and appetizers were delish. The drinks were served cold and plenty.

Best day on a sea tour ever!!!

The trip was wonderful! Everything from the views, comfort of the boat, the fabulous crew, and the top quality meal. Vasilis, Elle, and Feldma made the trip awesome with their information and care for every detail! We’ve done a catamaran tour of Santorini before, but this one with Santorini Star by far outshined the last.

Relaxing time with friendly crew

Lovely sailing mid day trip around Santorini. The crew (Nikitas, Spfros and Alexandra) were friendly, attentive and professional. The boat was shiny and new and had all the things we needed for a very enjoyable time. The food was above our expectations (grilled shrimps, chicken, sausages, salad, pasta), all cooked right there for us with drinks, snacks, fruit and cake. A great day at sea!

Sunset cruise

Treat for my Birthday from my friends and what a treat it was. Staff Captain Vasilis Crew Angil & Giannis attentive hard working and informative. The food was lovely and well cooked And there was plenty only tip bowls of lemon water or lemon wipes for after deheading the lovely prawns.Highly recommend if you wanting to do a sunset cruise.

Definitely do this!!

This was my favorite part of the trip. Alex and Alexandra were INCREDIBLE. The dinner was amazing!!!! The whole crew were just amazing.. This is a must do experience. It was really fun to meet other people and have a day on the water.

An Amazing Day at Sea

The most amazing experience! We had a fantastic time swimming, tanning, and getting to see Santorini from the water. Our crew, Ellie and Tzannis were so attentive and friendly. Captain Natalia, was amazing as well. All of them were very knowledgeable about the area, which made for such a great learning experience. Overall, I would highly recommend this boat excursion when in Santorini!

Amazing boat tour

Great experience! The boat crew was amazing and they were super fun! The food they cooked was so so good. They did a great job of the explain the volcanos and the history behind all the stops we made!

I felt at home in my own boat with the attention we received from the crew. Not to mention the surprises along the way.

The boat and crew were incredible. Fedna and Alexander delivered world class hospitality. The food was fresh and tasty. The orange cake was phenomenal. I will be raving about this for a while.

Take this tour!!

We chose the sunset cruise - highly recommend this!!!! Alex and Alexandra were amazing and gave us such knowledgeable information about Greece, the history, and the sights we passed. The water is so blue and refreshing. We saw so many fish at the different spots we stopped at to swim and relax. We even were given the chance to swim in the hot springs for a few minutes. It was a small group about 15 people. The boat was so beautiful and spacious. The food was absolutely delicious!!!! They cooked it fresh on the boat. They were so hospitable and kind. The sunset was so beautiful on the water. They played great music and we were dancing and having so much fun!! I recommend this to everyone!!!!!

Good experience but would have liked more time to swim

The cruise was great but I was expecting more stops to swim, we only stopped twice plus a very short one at the hot springs (10 minutes). I would have loved to stop at the white beach like the description suggested but they took us somewhere else to swim. For the rest the food and music was very good and had a good time.

The best of Santorini!

The scenery, food and beverages were all outstanding on our Santorini sunset sail. It was the best of the best of Santorini. And the staff, Eddi and Babis were amazing. Attentive, supporting and delightful. This is a must do experience.

Great way to see Santorini from the water

A great way to see more of Santorini in a smallish group (19 in ours) with friendly staff who looked after us well. Loved the with swim stops, amazing lunch and open bar a bonus! Excellent value given the inclusions. Highly recommend.

The most chilled day! Pick up was on time. Perfect size of guests and crew. Food, drinks and spots were all epic. Loved the slow sunset drag home to one of the best sunsets ever! Loved every minute. Thank you Angy and the team.

This excursion was EXCELLENT! The catamaran was spotless and roomy for the 10 passengers. The crew was EXCEPTIONAL! Angie, Yannis, and our captain couldn’t have been more attentive and helpful! And the food they prepared was fresh and gourmet! We were fortunate to make friends with the other guests and had a most delightful afternoon. Our only suggestion would be to provide guests with noodles when swimming. We highly recommend this excursion!!

Super fun cruise trip

This trip was amazing!! The water was incredible and the boat was so fun. The views were incredible and the hosts were incredibly helpful and kind, plus they did a great job explaining the different spots you stop at. The food was delicious too!!

Greatest sunset tour, amazing crews

Thank you so much, captain Vassilis, crew Angie and Alexandros for being a page of our most precious moment in life! I was one of the Korean passengers onboard May 27th. I was a bit worried since our guide couldn’t be with us, but I realized shortly that it was unnecessary. It was literally PERFECT day from first to last. I’ve seen the most beautiful sunset in my life, and had the most memorable cruise in Greece, I can guarantee! And that was all because of wonderful, thoughtful crews (also best DJ) in the world. The sailing was perfect, the food was marvelous, and the sunset was breathtaking. If you want to make your day exceptional, choose Santorini star sailing and sail with Vassilis, Angie and Alexandros!

This is a must do!!!

I really enjoyed this excursion. The crew were so attentive and helpful. The food was prepared fresh and it was delicious. The views and the history given were also super insightful. We got to snorkel at 2 locations and saw so many fish and we got to swim at the hot springs. The open bar is also a plus!!! This tour was not overly crowded which was great. I would recommend to take swim shoes on the tour for the hot springs swim. You do not need towels they will provide them. But if you like to snorkel take your own goggles and pipe to breath from bc there are not many provided. This was a fantastic tour.

Fun but not if high quality

Pros: Fun and attentive crew! Captain got us to our destinations safely. Cons: Wine at “ open bar” tasted old or cheap. Food wasn’t prepared in the most sanitary manner.

PERFECT activity for a trip to Santorini

You must do this activity if you're visiting Santorini. Our driver picked us up promptly and the ship left the port on time. The team were extremely friendly, and the captain of the ship was very professional, getting us incredibly close to each view point. We had plenty of time to swim at each point, and the food was outstanding. We arrived back on time and our driver was ready to take us back to the hotel. Couldn't recommend this highly enough!

Beautiful sunset cruise.

Amazing experience! We enjoyed sailing around the island and the tasty dinner. Nice way to meet other travelers as well! Nice way to avoid the crowds at sunset.
