An Extremely Satisfying Experience, 3 times over !

My husband and I availed the services of Jr Luxury Rd for 3 transfers around the Santo Domingo/Punta Cana region through April 2024. Each experience was extremely smooth, luxurious and very pleasant. Junior was excellent at communicating, adhering to his commitments, and was very helpful and considerate, keeping in minds our requirements, and his drivers were friendly and helpful too. He also went above and beyond to try and help on one particular day when our planned tour did not pick us up; Junior attempted to find a tour for us to join, just as a favor. Thankfully we were able to find one on our own though. Many thanks Junior. it was great ! Folks, please consider seriously for your requirements in Dominican Republic !

I was thoroughly satisfied with their service and would highly recommend JR Luxury RD to anyone seeking reliable and affordable transportation.

Excellent service

We used this service twice. We were picked up from the airport and taken to our hotel in Santa Domingo. The driver contacted me via text before our plane landed. Once through customs and we got our luggage she met us curbside to take us to the hotel. She had cold bottled water waiting for us. Very polite and friendly. We used this service again to pick us up from our hotel and take us to the airport. Same driver. She was on time and got us to the airport with plenty of time to spare. I would highly recommend using them. It is very easy to communicate with the service. One the initial reservation was placed I received a text and was able to communicate with them easily.

Extremely misleading and disappointing experience

After booking my service, I was in contact with the provider via text to ensure a smooth experience. I was traveling with my 2 year old and wanted to make sure we'd have a car seat and the car could accommodate all the adults as well. I was told someone would be in the airport with my name on a sign to meet me. That never happened. Instead I received a text when I landed to meet someone outside by an ice cream store. I had trouble finding our driver, and when we saw her, we knew right away we would not fit. The car had 5 seats, with one person having to sit in a tight space in the trunk with the luggage. We had 5 bags and a stroller and that would not fit. My Viator reservation said we'd receive a car that could fit 5 bags and 5 adults, when I contacted the operator, he said he provided a car for 5 people and 4 luggage and I'd have to pay more for a bigger car (which he told me he didn't have available.) Why would you only provide a car with such limited and exact space? Plus, we had backpacks and other bags which we'd have to put on our laps. Not to mention the stroller would have nowhere to fit. Never have I taken a car service where I had so say every item I'd bring on board. It's clear we'd have been so crammed and uncomfortable for our hour long trip. We were stranded at the airport until I eventually called an uber for part of our group. Plus, the car seat was not safe. It did not fit my daughter. The driver didn't know how to make the straps bigger for her and it was not buckled into the seat so I basically had to hold onto her the entire ride and pray we'd be fine. This service is a complete scam.

Great Service!

My family and I visited DR last October and had Junior as our driver. He was not only our driver but he was also a great tour guide and was very insightful on the culture and activities in the area. He was very polite, offered great conversation and was very patient with our little toddler. We can't wait to visit again and will definitely be booking his services for that trip. PS. There's wifi in board so we could keep our family back home abreast of our every move!

Punta Cana 2024

I have been going to the DR for 5 years in a row now, this company by far has been the best, not only were the drivers on time, but were early and sent conformation messages to me, unlike any other transportation service. I will use this company next year. Suburban was extremely clean and driver very profestional.

I booked last minute with JR Luxury and Junior collected us on time and took us to our Airbnb in Punta Cana. He ensured we were good, got us water for the journey and gave us recommendations of foods to try. Junior was the best!!! Very accommodating and helpful. On time and pretty much was my voice ( I speak English so he definitely was a plus as he is fluent). Will be using him again and I highly recommend him!!

Luxury Private Transportation DR, provided 2 days of transportation services with multiple vehicles for my company. As the project manager, I am very satisfied with the quality of service, communications and vehicles provided. The Managing Director, worked along with me to ensure our client and guests were very well taken care of. Their team of drivers were very professional and pleasant to be around. I highly recommend their services.

The airport had a problem...

The airport had a problem with luggage conveyor belt which delayed our arrival. However, we paid $95 for luxury SUV pick-up and we were promised bottled water. None of it happened. The vehicle that we were in was far from "luxurious" (it was a small SUV and could barely fit our group in it) and had engine problem as it kept choking every 5 mins when driving. They didn't even try to make it look nice. The vibe we got was "you are late and you are lucky I still pick you up. Now, get in". It was ridiculous. At first, we were going to ride with this company for another 3 trips in DR, but after seeing how the service was like, we had to cancelled other bookings with them. I do not know how they got all 5 stars reviews, but what I have experienced with my group didn't even deserve a star. I learn that you have to use reputable transportation services and should never book one using Viator because it could have been the operators' friends or employee who reviewed them as five stars service. You have beeen warned.

WOULD RECOMMEND!!! My husband and I hired JR for transportation from the airport in SD to Punta Cana. He was waiting for us at the airport when we arrived, great clean vehicle, well attired and professional. He was friendly and made the 2.5 hr trip very fun and informative. He made us feel special and not just a man doing a job. Excellent service, he even recommended activities for us to try while visiting the island. Can’t wait to visit again and use his services.

Outstanding Safe and Professional Service

After a long day of traveling, having a professional driver who picks you up at 2am at the airport and even offers to stop and pick up food for you is incredible. JR was the best driver and the only service I will use and trust in Santo Domingo and Dominican Republic. Great conversation and even gave us a tour of the city. He adjusted the schedule several times due to cancelled flights and tracked our flights to know when we arrived. Tip: make sure you turn on your wifi or roaming on at the Airport. Excellent service and professionalism.

My parents and I hired JR Luxury to transport us from the Santo Domingo airport to a resort in Las Terrenas. They deserve my highest rating, A+. We got everything we wanted: Excellent communication via WhatsApp, confirmation sent a few days prior to traveling, clean and comfortable car, on-time pickup, travel duration exactly as advertised, competitive pricing, and a driver who was professional, skilled, safe, friendly, polite, and interesting. Most importantly, when our flight was delayed, JR waited for us, and when we had trouble getting through customs, JR waited for us, and when we were very slow to respond to texts and calls due to slow and unstable airport WiFi, JR still waited for us! JR’s reliability, patience, and flexibility demonstrated during our chaotic arrival to DR are the main reasons why we will use them again, and recommend them to others, since the unexpected often happens when traveling internationally

Junior our driver was amazing. He picked us up from a stressful week at the Hard Rock Punta Cana and within minutes had us smiling and laughing. The 1 hour and 20 minutes went in a flash as we all had a good chat about everything and anything. I would 100% use again very punctual picked up and dropped of on time. Best Ride Ever!

I had booked my reservation the night before prior to my arrival to Santo Domingo, and the manager of the company responded quickly and had a car ready for our arrival the next morning. The car was very clean and the manager was an amazing driver. He communicated very well and even stopped at a place where they had amazing empanadas and Presidente's 😊😊 for the long card ride. He made sure to let us know about the hot spots in the area, even played us some music to get us in the mood, and was very informative. It felt as though we had our own professional tour guide. If we could have, we would have booked him to be our personal driver our whole trip! lol. I would 1,000% recommend them. Thanks again for everything 💕

Meilleur chauffeur privé de RD et en toute sécurité

C'est la deuxième fois que nous choisissos Jr Luxury Rd pour nos transferts privé en République Dominicaine. Une première fois en mars 2021 depuis Saint-Domingue jusqu'à Punta Cana aller-retour. Junior nous avait fais gouter des empanadas incroyable et nous a fait gouter le meilleur jus de Chinola (fruit de la passion) du monde entier, sans exagérer. Cette année nous sommes aller rendre visite a de la famille dans la capitale et tous était parfait. Ponctuel, sympa et fiable ! Je reserverais de nouveau chez Jr Luxury Rd c'est sur et certain !!

Sin faltas, el servicio fue excelente. Una comunicación óptima y siempre dispuesto hacer más para complacer. Nuestro vuelo se atraso debido al mal tiempo pero recibimos un mensaje de ir y su equipo que ellos estaban monitoriando el vuelo ya sabía de la tardanza y que ellos iban hacer los cambiar necesario para asegurar un vehículo para nuestra llegada. Y así fue. Desde que aterrizamos y prendí mi cell me entró un mensaje de nuestro chofer que ya estaba en el aeropuerto y esperando por nosotros. No se puede pedir más, excelente servicio. Los recomiendo a todos que vengan a este bello país de República Dominicana.
