Let me say this again 🤣, they were on time, their vehicles clean, staff with excellent customer service! Air conditioning at the perfect temperature to combat tropical heat. My wife and I primarily speak English so there was a very slight language barrier with us and the driver Francis. But that’s to be expected with communicating with anyone who is using their second, third language etc. Francis was attentive to our needs, always checking on us if we were ok. We recommend Caribbean Airport Transfers to anyone who wants to travel to Dom Rep. They even have a full pamphlet of activities should you want to explore tourist attractions, the city etc.

SDQ airport to Punta Cana in a blink

Hands down best bang for your buck transfer from SDQ anirport to Punta C. Unfortunately I didn’t know any Spanish to communicate with the driver but translator app sufficed. Sufficed enough to the point where it was hilarious and it ended up being a good icebreaker. Use them for any transfers, they are top notch. Just don’t be a pos.

Great communication & van ride, but could've done more to help me not get scammed

Mostly a good experience for a pickup from Santo Domingo airport and drop-off at a beach resort in La Romana. Communication via email and WhatsApp was excellent from the time of booking until pick-up at the airport. The driver was very friendly and the van was comfortable. The only negative experience I had was at the airport. Upon arrival I saw a representative holding a sign with my name on it in the terminal, as expected. However, there was another man next to the representative who I later realized was not associated with Punta Cana Transfer service. He offered to help roll my luggage even though I didn't need help. After we walked 50 meters to the waiting point he asked for a tip, and when I politely declined he became impolite and demanded a tip. After finally relenting and giving him some coins he just walked away, and that's when I realized that he was not part of Punta Cana Transfer and had just scammed me. The Punta Cana Transfer representative said nothing and did nothing to prevent this little scam from happening. Not sure if the scammer and representative were in on it together, or if the representative just didn't care and allowed it to happen. Either way, this was my first time in the Dominican Republic and it will forever be remembered by how I was immediately scammed at the airport. During the prior week, Punta Cana Transfer sent a confirmation email to me and emphasized to only interact with Punta Cana Transfer representatives to avoid scams. By all appearances it looked like the scammer was with the representative and part of Punta Cana Transfer so I'm disappointed that the Punta Cana Transfer representative allowed me to get scammed and didn't say anything to me or to the scammer. I take responsibility for getting scammed, but at the same time I feel that the representative could've helped me out. Everything else was great and I would use this service again.

Driver ontime, dont accept chicken

Driver was on time waiting for us at the gate and was very talkative and friendly the entire time, answering any questions we may have. The booking itself was simple and the driving great. There were a couple of things that we didnt like, the driver was very insistent the whole ride that he could take us anywhere we'd like during our stay, if we were talking amongst ourselves he would chime in again to offer his services and we just repeateadly told him we would think about it the out it, so at the end we grew tired and just stopped talking about what we wanted to do due to his insistence. The other thing that made me very made, is that when me and my gf got there, I told the driver to please give us 2mins to pick something to eat the exit gate because we were starving, he said he knew a place where they sold great dominican chicken and he would take us there, that it was way better. He just stopped at a local joint and told us to wait there in the car that he would order and bring receipt he didnt asked what we wanted or anything or give time to reply, he came back with some chicken and orange juice. At the end when I asked how much it was he said 20$ for something that was 5$ at most and obviously there was no receipt. I gave him 10$ and finished the ride thinking he though we were dumb and he could make some easy money off of us.

Very easy, on time shuttle transfer from Punta Cana to Santo Domingo airport. Highly recommend!!

We used this to transfer from our hotel in Bavaro near Punta Cana to the Santo Domingo airport and it was a very easy and seamless process. We had to book day of because our previous shuttle company never showed up and we had to cancel them but Julio picked up the phone right away and spoke perfect English to help us and find a shuttle for a 2 hour drive back to Santo Domingo airport late at night. He communicated over WhatsApp throughout the process and made sure I was able to find his driver when they arrived at my hotel. Overall I couldn’t recommend this company more, especially with all of the other companies that are either scams or very untrustworthy.

Excellent transportation service

They picked us up as soon as we landed in Santo Domingo (in the middle of a heavy thunderstorm) and drove us to our resort in Bayahibe. Then they coordinated to pick us up on the day of our return flight and again were very prompt (in fact 10 minutes early). Very friendly drivers. I will definitely be using Punta Cana Transfer again the next time I am in the DR.

Private transportation

We had a great experience, new mini van, AC worked well, driver arrived on time and helped us with luggage and we were at the airport as expected even though it was raining bad. We had bad experience with hotel shuttle prior, it’s being old with bad AC and sitting waiting for other guests to arrive for almost an hour. So I was very pleased that I made a right choice and got a private transfer.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! I'm writing this review while currently stuck in Santo Domingo looking for another shuttle service last minute. We booked with them for a shuttle service to get us from Santo Domingo to Punta Cana and they canceled our shuttle as soon as we arrived leaving us in a panic! We have no idea where we're at or how we are even getting to Punta Cana now. They said I won't be getting my refund until tomorrow!! What?! You all cancel on us last minute leaving us stranded and you have the audacity to not send me my money back! Horrible!

Book Punta Cana Transfers for all transportation and tour needs

My point of contact was Julio. He communicated with me every step of the way and ensured the drivers were always on time for pick ups and drop offs. I also booked my tours via their website and the tour guides were very informative and took great care of us. I would definitely recommend using Punta Cana Transfer. It was a bonus that they knew English which made communication much easier being in a foreign country and not understanding the language very well.

Santo Domingo to Punta Cana and Back Again!

My husband and I were travelling to the Dominican Republic for our 4 year wedding anniversary. The only flight option available when we booked our resort in Punta Cana was to fly into Santo Domingo. What first seemed like an inconvenience, resulted in an opportunity for us to see more of the island during our transfer. Booking with Punta Cana Transfers was easy, and their customer service representatives (especially Julio), made it that much easier. Their response times were unmatched by any other travel agency I have worked with in the past. Their preparedness and responsiveness truly makes such a difference. Julio even step by step, through text, walked me through my booking on their site, when I had a hard time navigating (which is more of a reflection of me than it is their website). Upon arrival, we were met with a supremely long line at customs, and I was worried we would miss our pick up. I texted the company via what’s app to let them know we had arrived and were waiting to pass through customs. I was assured we wouldn’t miss our pickup despite being over an hour later than planned. And Julio, once again, came through when I saw our driver holding the sign with my name on it. Our driver was incredibly friendly and energetic. He helped load our bag into his car and took a cute selfie with us before the 2.5 car ride to our resort. This driver, and I’m sad I can’t call him out by name, was very lively in discussing Dominican Republic history, sites we saw along the way, and facts. Despite how tired we were from travelling, he livened us up with conversation, laughs, and smooth driving. My only complaint was the car had intermittent fumes of gas coming in, but it wasn’t enough to be bothersome or cause a headache. Just rolling the window down for some fresh air did the trick. On our way back to the Santo Domingo airport, we had a much more unique experience since we were travelling overnight. We had an extremely early flight, plus the 2.5 hour drive to the airport, so we arranged for a 1am pickup. Our driver arrived at 12:45am and loaded our suitcase and us and off we went. As much as I wish we could have had another lively conversation with the driver, my husband and I were so tired, we fell asleep on the way, but from the few times I woke up, he was friendly, courteous, and altogether kind. The only issue we had was with our return trip to SDQ. We were advised that cash couldn’t be accepted for resort pick up but that we could pay the driver with a credit card or via PayPal directly. It wasn’t until we had arrived at the airport at 3am did we figure out that the driver was expecting cash because he didn’t have a card reader. We had some cash on us but not enough to cover the total faire, so I ran into the airport to find an ATM to make sure he got the rest plus a tip for being early for pick up, smooth through the drive, and patient enough to wait for me to get the rest of the money for the faire and his tip. An unfortunate miscommunication; however, I would strongly recommend this company for any transfer to/from Santo Domingo to Punta Cana. Thank you so much for being part of our trip and driving us safely to our destinations!
