Los Haitises Park & Cayo Levantado: Samaná unforgettable Journey

Despite the tour service provider managing to do the tour in no time instead of 8 hours, the tour was not what we expected. Instead of an unforgettable journey to Samana Bay we had a pretty forgettable journey from our room to the lobby to wait for the guide for an hour to pick us up. During the 2nd part of the tour we didn't have to watch out of the window during the ride that was supposed to lead us to Cayo Levantado, but got to have some breakfast instead. The tour service provider seems to take the good night sleep necessity of their employees very seriously since no one was responding to our requests at 6 am, after the guide should have arrived half an hour ago. Luckily they were more responsive to TripAdvisor and I have never received a refund so fast!

And I highly recommend contacting them for your tour preferences..I felt valued from the time of inquiry and working with Gelison Rufino..to get our trip booked and paid for. He was very professional, helpful and patient. our driver Alex made all aspects of our day special...he made our long drives enjoyable by sharing history and information about the regions we drove through, he made sure all our needs were mer and guided us to each part of our tour. He added a bonus walk in when we arrived early to our destination. His kind fun loving attitude made our day special. Mama Juana tours excels in customer service. Beautiful location and history.

Bacardi island a setting from the movies

Amazing day with Ricardo. Whale watching was really memorable and Bacardi island stunning. This is a must destination if visiting the Dominican Republic. A long yet memorable day.

Paisajes increíbles y atención exquisita

Nos recogió Amaurys, quien llegó incluso antes de hora al punto de encuentro. Durante todo el día, incluyendo el viaje de vuelta, estuvo atento a cualquier detalle que pudiéramos necesitar, el mejor driver que nunca encontramos! Tomó tiempo para hacer pequeñas paradas por el camino para apreciar la belleza de cada paisaje. El viaje en barco a los manglares y a cayo levantado fue amenos gracias al equipo que también nos explicó la historia de las cuevas de la linea y la arena. Las vistas son espectaculares todo el viaje, los manglares, las cuevas, las playas en cayo levantado, el parque de los haitises, las aldeas del recorrido… El almuerzo incluía opciones sin gluten, fruta fresca y cocteles con y sin alcohol. En resumen: totalmente recomendable!

Dos cancelaciones

Nos cancelaron dos veces la primera justificada por mal tiempo y la segunda dijeron que nuevamente había mal tiempo pero el día estuvo soleado de amanecer a anochecer. Y a hoy no nos han devuelto el dinero de la cancelación.
