Overall, our tour guide Leo was very friendly and extremely informative. Learnt a lot about main attractions and historical stories behind them.

Great two hour Salzburg tour

Our guide/driver, Ben, was on time, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. Tour was customized to us. Some city highlights and a few SOM sites. Ben gave us stories, insider tips, and extra highlights. He’s a safe driver and informative guide. He didn’t just have a tour spiel, but was able to answer our specific questions. Masks were worn consistently in the vehicle.

Magical intro to Salzburg

We had Leopald the magnificent. His love, energy and historical information were delightful and helped us cater the remainder of our visit. He really personified the welcoming feeling Salzburg is known for. A complete yes!!

Private city tour of Salzburg

We had a good time with a short tour of Salzburg in 2 hours. Peter was extremely knowledgeable and cordial which added to a better experience of the tour.

Interesting customized tour

We really appreciated our tour guide (Wolfgang) on this tour of Salzburg because he asked what we were most interested in and then customized the tour for us. Even though we were on the City Highlights tour, he focused on interesting sites from the Sound of Music based on our interests. He stopped in several places and parked so that I could get out and take pictures and walk around but kept my wife (who couldn't get out of the van easily) company. It was alot of information and we really got a good feel for the city in just a couple hours. We highly recommend this tour.

Very poor value for money

My wife and I paid 200 euros for a 2 hour drive round in a car being driven by the tour guide. We stopped at a stables with a park en-route and were told we could walk round for as long as we wanted. At £1.50/minute in a temperature of -3C we didn't feel this was particularly of good value. The tour doesn't take you anywhere you can't get to by taxi, and whilst the guide was friendly, the car punctual and clean, we were very disappointed particularly having read the good reviews previously for this.

Wolgang arrived at our hotel right...

<p>Wolgang arrived at our hotel right on time and shared with us all of the great history of Salzburg. His knowledge of the area was very in depth and he was able to share with us a great deal of information about the city. We were able to hit all of the Sound of Music highlights but also learn our way around the city and all that it has to offer. This tour was the perfect length and left us time to visit the areas that interested us. Wolfgang dropped us off at Mirabell Gardens and recommended we visit the market. The market was awesome, we had a great lunch and a terrific time.</p>

If you're a Sound of Music...

<p>If you're a Sound of Music enthusiast this is the tour for you! Our guide was not only completely knowledgeable but was entertaining, kept all of us engaged especially my younger ones 9 and 12 years old... and even the boys! We went by the Von Trapp family home, took a stroll through a park that had children running and playing everywhere, saw the gazebo where Leizel had her first kiss, down the street the children hung like monkeys from the trees and of course the amphitheater where the Von Trapp family sang before making their big escape! We had a sing-a-long of Doe A Deer and more. Our guide not only told us many facts about TSOM but included many other sites and facts about Salzburg itself. All in all, we left the tour on a high note and could probably do the tour all over again!</p>

The tour could have been better...

<p>The tour could have been better primarily due to the rain. It poured through most of the tour. Despite the weather Thomas provided an interesting van tour of Salzburg. He provided a balance of Sound of Music and Salzburg history.</p>

Interessante 2h SALZBURG Tour (mit Van & zu Fuß)

Interessante 2h Tour - privat geführt und somit individuell gestaltet. Die erste Stunde mit dem Van durch Salzburg City und danach weiter zu Fuß in die Altstadt. Danach sahen wir aufgrund der zahlreichen Geschichten Salzburg mit anderen Augen.

Tolle Stadtführung mit Herz

Eine Stadtführung nur allein für uns! Momentan ist noch wenig Tourismus in der Stadt. Dennoch hat uns Panorama Tours eine private Stadtführung im Kleinbus mit Leopold ermöglicht. Ein Österreicher mit Leib und Seele. Leopold hat viel Erfahrung hat uns viel von der Stadt gezeigt und den Kindern etwas die Geschichte von Salzburg näher gebracht. Eine tolle Fahrt mit vielen tollen Tips. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Salzburg fenomenal

Guia muy atento y servicial. Bien documentado sobre la historia de la ciudad y tambien sobre anecdotas de distintas epocas.

El peor tour de mi vida

Hace unos dias estuvimos en Salzburgo y decidimos coger un tour por la ciudad con CIVITATIS ya que eran los unicos que lo ofrecian en español. FATAL!!! Primero, no nos indicaron bien el sitio de la quedada. Cuando llamamos por telefono, solo nos dijeron que ellos no tenian constancia de ningun cambio ni ningun error. Solo nos dieron otro numero de telefono al que llamar, donde solo nos atendieron en ingles y aleman. Nos dijeron que el tour era en otro sitio y que ademas era en furgoneta!!! no especificaban nada de esto en la pagina web de CIVITATIS y era de suponer que era a pie, ya que Salzburgo es una ciudad muy asequible andando, sobre todo lo que nos acabaros enseñando. Despues de una bronca ( encima) por llegar tarde, nos meten en la furgoneta con otra pareja de alemanes, por lo tanto el tour fue bilingüe. El conductor era aleman y a pesar de que hablaba bien, tenia muchisimo hacento y hablaba rapisisimo y se le entendia bastante regular. Las explicaciones nada que no puedas leer en una guia, sin nada interesante salvo este edificio se llama asi y es del siglo tal. Duro una hora excasa y costo 18 euros. He hecho tours bastante mas baratos, 1000 veces mas interesantes en los que aprendi muchisimo y de 3 horas la mayoria. Para enterarme de cosas interesantes de la ciudad no me quedo otra que meterme en internet. No se si esto es culpa de CIVITATIS o PANORAMA TOURS, supongo que ambos 2 tienen parte de culpa: unos por no enterarse de lo que estan vendiendo a traves de su web y los otros por ofertar un servicio tan caro y malo. NUNCA JAMAS RESERVARE CON ESTA PAGINA WEB!!
