Amazing trip to Salalah!

Amazing trip! My wife and I went on two excursions (West and East) with The Beautiful Salalah and Mohammed Ali and had a really great experience of exploring Salalah for the first time. The excursions were organised extremely well - easy booking process, well-maintained pick up and drop off time, comfortable driving, etc. Our guide, Mohammed Ali, went above and beyond, showing us the best viewpoints, telling a lot about the places we visited and Oman overall and even sharing with us karak tea in his home town Taqah as a farewell gift (Shukran!). During the West excursion, we visited Wadi Darmat, Jabal Samhan (my favourite!), Taqah coastline and many other places. We have been to many countries before, but haven’t seen such a unique combination of different landscapes elsewhere. After the trip, we had an impression that we visited Ireland (grassy hills), Scotland (unique fog experience), Miami (ocean view), Dover (breathtaking Samhan cliffs) and Austria (the Wadi). Needless to say that we ran out of memory on our iPhones by the end of the trip. The East excursion was a bit less filled with places (because of the long trip from Mirbat where we were staying), but we still visited breathtaking Iftalqoot Area (dreamlike place, which reminded me of New Zealand), Marneef Cave and Blowholes (as beautiful as Iceland geysers) and other picturesque places. Many thanks to Mohammed Ali and The Beautiful Salalah for showing us the Dhofar region and definitely recommend them to everyone!

Abo Salim was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and hospital. We went a little early in the Khareef season so all the waterfalls were dried up, but nonetheless it was an amazing experience and an unforgettable trip!

Land of the Frankincense

Finally I visited the land of the Frankinces.The most Beautiful place in GCC as well as the local people. Cant imagine theres a mini tropical place in GCC. I really had a great time, thanjs to our tour guide Salim for the amazing experience.

Best experience in Salalah

My pick up and drop from and to the airport was arranged by Beautiful Salalah. They assigned a wonderful tour guide named, Ali Qahoor, who was very friendly and has amazing photography skills. Being a local he was able to connect us with the tradition while on the drive and even taking us to the places. Had it not been Ali then , we wouldn’t have enjoyed the culture of Oman. The car was clean and provided with water bottle, and Ali adjusted to our time as we were family and had small kids. I’d recommend Beautiful Salalah anytime.

We learned and experienced so much on our full day trip to East and West Salalah with Salim Alkathiri of Beautiful Salalah Tours. Salim was a superb tour guide giving us many insights into the local Dhofar cultures (city, mountain, desert). Of course we visited all the key sites, but our knowledge of local life was deepened as we spent time talking in the car and over coffee above Taqah Castle or drinking delicious fruit drinks overlooking Mughsail Beach. Our dietary preferences were stretched at the local fast food restaurant in Salalah which we would never have tried on our own. We really liked the grilled camel meat with biryani rice and yogurt! The all day tour with someone else driving was a perfect combination of sites: - cultural: Taqua Fort with excellent traditional displays -natural: the famous Wadi Darbat waterfall and extensive nature park, and Mughsail Beach with the eroded large Marneef Cave - archeological: the important UNESCO frankincense port at Samharam - surprises: many, many herds of camels in several locations, as well as ambling on the road. And the busy Port Salalah and free zone industrial area.

Great authentic experience

I highly recommend Beautiful Salalah Tours for trips around Salalah. We took 3 excursions with them and everything went exactly according to plan! We communicated very well on arranging all the details, the pricing was fair and the service was very good! Out guide, Muhammad Ali, was very knowledgeable and spoke good english. Our visit to Salalah was amazing and beautiful indeed! The majestic view of nature is breathtaking! The encounter with nature will leave you in awe! Throughout the journey, we traveled in a comfortable and well-maintained land cruiser . Our driver Abo Salim was skilled and friendly, making the journeys between destinations enjoyable. Knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. Abosalim was exceptional. His passion for New Oman culture, history, and nature was evident in every explanation and story he shared. Abo salim's enthusiasm made the tour even more enjoyable, and he always went the extra mile to ensure everyone had a memorable experience. Nice tour if you have limited time

The tour was good considering we had only one full day in Salalah - though I can say now, too expensive for at the end what it offers (440usd for 2 pax). Highlight of the tour was our guide Mohamed, the nicest person and very knowledgeable. We could not hope for anyone better than him!

Tour is worth the cost.

It was a great tour. Saw waterfalls, beaches, blowhole and alot of camels. Not monsoon season but still worth the experience.

Mohammed was great

Took the East West one day tour with Mohammed Ali - great tour guide and a very friendly guy, highly recommended you take the tour with him! He was happy to take photos and send them to me afterwards, stop at great viewpoints on request, answer all my questions, and take me to locations that I requested to make the day the best it could be. Even bought me a cup of Omani tea and helped me find 2 local foods I wanted to try. Very nice man, and a great guide to make the most of the day. Thank you Mohammed!

Good first impression of Salalah

Fine tour. Our guide/driver Abo Salim did his best to make us feel comfortable. The meeting point was cluttered due to the large crowds at the port. This can be solved well with WhatsApp, but internet access is then needed

We booked a last minute flight to Salalah in Eid holidays & had no clue for internal travel , tours & sight seeing, thanks to Beautiful Salalah tours we were able to have the smoothest, comfortable & amazing trip planned. We had wonderful trip to East and next day West Salalah, with Mohamed Ali. Amazing tour guide and drove very safe. He also made sure that we all happy and had our lunch! Highly recommended when you come to visit Salalah. The only disappointment was 2 people with our group that ate food in the car, been late post every sightseeing, not friendly Other than that, we had wonderful time in Oman, would love to come back

Perfect day in Salalah

I have been in many tours BUT this tour is the BEST of all, one of my best days ever, amazed by the landscapes and nature of SALALAH, it is a place for meditation and relaxation and enjoyment. The tour guide Mr AHMED is the best tour guide ever, he gives from his heart and good soul. I recommend taking this trip very much, specially with Mr Ahmed

The Perfect One Day Tour

We were only on a 3-night (2 full days) visit to Salalah & this tour was perfect for us - it combines two separate (the East & the West) tours. Our tour guide Ahmed Abu Salam was fantastic, he spoke excellent English & his driving was very safe. He even offered us the option during the tour to chop & change certain elements of it, for example we weren't so keen on visiting the archaeological site so he swapped that out & took us to more waterfalls instead. We got back to the hotel feeling very satisfied indeed.

Awesome experience, well planned and well organized, I took 1 day east and 1 flash west and it was convenient and saw all key places. Haafez was a wonderful guide with good knowledge of the location and key hidden view points. We had food at some prime location which was delicious.

Magnificent 2 day tour in Salalah

We did 2 full days one east and one west, and I have to say these were one of the most magical tours we’ve done. We had an amazing time with our tour guide- Ahmed who is one of the most genuine people you can find. He took us to the usual touristic places and he didn’t stop there he also took us to unusual places which were magnificent. He explained everything thoroughly and was very knowledgable. Truly I cannot express how amazing it was. Would highly recommend to go with Ahmed, very well organized and knows what he is doing.

A perfect day in the South

Very professional service, good and fast comunication by WhatsApp before the tour. In time pick-up at the hotel and great day trip with guide Ahmed! In one day we covered Est and West Side of Salalah, incl. Sultan Qaboos Mosque. Ahmed told me a lot about his country and did a wonderful job in showing me the whole area of Salalah in one day!

Wonderful East and West Combined ; private group tour

I arrange this private group tour with 28 persons from the cruise ship.They provide us with two comfortable coasters, all the drinks and snacks, two guides and drivers. Pick up and drop off from the port.The entire tour was very good we went to East side to see Sultan Qaboos masjid, Taqa castle, Wadi Darbat, Boat ride, Pass through the city and see some sites in Salalah city like Haffa souq, In the afternoon we went to: Mughsail beach and Marneef cave and blowholes, which are the most popular sites on the western side. The beach is beautiful and the natural fountain is a good thing to see. Overall it was an excellent tour from Beautiful Salalah very enjoyable and well organized. Highly recommended.

Great day in Salalah

Unfortunately, we were only in Salalah for one day as a stop on a cruise. Our tour was fantastic. Beautiful landscapes combined with delicious regional food. Our guide did everything we wanted, including a short stop at the beach. We were impressed overall, but most of all by the friendly, open people, especially our guide.

Questa escursione è stata la scelta migliore che potessimo fare. Le attività proposte non hanno nulla a che vedere con quelle degli hotel, organizzati in gruppi da 4 su jeep di lusso, le guide di garantiscono ogni comfort (acqua in ogni momento, frutta fresca del posto e tutto quello che è richiesto dai clienti). La parte più bella è sicuramente la possibilità di fermarsi quando e dove si preferisce, con la possibilità di incontrare cammelli, mucche, caprette e asinelli in totale libertà. Se si è fortunati la guida vi accompagnerà in posti nascosti per vedere delfini, tartarughe marine e molto altro. Ringraziamo ancora la nostra guida Ahmed Abo Salim per questa esperienza INDIMENTICABILE.
