It was nice enough but if you are over 5ft the seats won't be comfortable and the air con didn't really work in the van. Kalithea springs is basically a beach bar so a bit of a disappointing end to the trip. However our tour guide was nice, but if you want to explore this might not be the tour for you as we didn't really get much time in each stop except to get a beverage and a break from the heat of the van.

This tour is a MUST!

This tour is a MUST! What a fab tour around the island of Rhodes! From the moment we got picked up from our hotel, to the time we got dropped back, we had an amazing day. Nena our tour guide was very good and gave us a brilliant history of Rhodes. George, our driver was very careful and professional in his driving. Stopping off and seeing the great sights around the island was lovely and breathtaking. This truly was the highlight of our trip and great value for money.

Enjoyable day, would recommend!

Overall it was an enjoyable day. The driver and tour guide were great. We found that there were a few random stops. Like a stop at a hotel, beautiful building but not totally sure it was a necessary stop. We encountered some rude staff during lunch at the restaurant recommended by our guide - although that is no reflection on the tour, but it certainly impacted our experience. Spent far too much on olive oil - but we’re a sucker for a good olive oil! In a nutshell, we would recommend the tour to anyone asking. Maybe consider a different spot for lunch - but might just have been a one off!

Amazing

We were a family of 2 adults and a child , we had an amazing trip . Peter was our guide and Micheal drove us to all the lovely places . Peter is very knowledgeable and passionate about history and was very knowledgeable! The history behind Kamiros , Kritonia castle , Mt Profitis is amazing. We unfortunately just got 30 mins at Kallithea springs as it closes at 4pm wished we could spend more time there but besides that the overall experience was very enjoyable and I definitely recommend using Kariba Travels !

Michael the guide and Michael the driver were fantastic!! Very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend this tour with them. It was the perfect amount of time. Wine tasting was great. We bought a couple of bottles. The lunch was great and relaxing. Very good food.

Incredible tour of Rhodes

An absolutely amazing tour of the island. The guide was really knowledgeable, sharing stories, myths, bits of culture as you’re driving. The places we visited were absolutely breathtaking. We even got to feed deer which was a lovely surprise, and had my best Greek Iced coffee of the trip in the bar next to Kritinia Castle (which also had puppies you could play with). Wine tasting had some of the best wine I have ever tried. Sometimes it would have been nice to have a little bit more time in some locations as I would have liked to stay longer. Overall five stars.

Definitely recommended

Firstly reviews are written from our family’s point of view. You may have your own opinions or disagree. The tour was a full day with multiple stops covering mainly villages in the mountains Michael the guide was extremely knowledgeable and funny and had an encyclopaedic knowledge of the islands history Stop 1. An old ruined castle - very picturesque Stop 2. Wine, mastic , honey and olive oil tasting - very interesting Stop 3. An old classically built hotel - chance for a coffee Stop 4. A fascinating Byzantine church Stop 5. A pond full of coy carp Stop 6. Lunch in a taverna in the mountains Stop 7. Feeding watermelon to deer Stop 8. A health giving spring and hollowed out tree Stop. 9. Kalithea springs - where you can swim Need to know. 1. If you get car sick it’s a bit windy on the road. Sit at front 2. If you’re tall , legroom on coach is terrible 3. Michael points out things from the front of bus which you cannot see further back as the windows are not high enough on the sides 4. There isn’t enough time at kalithea springs to get changed, swim and get changed again 5. Lunch is not included in the price . Not clear in literature 6. Entrance to kalithea springs is not included but it’s only 3 euros. Again this is not included in literature 7. If you have mobility issues , it’s all fine except walking up to first castle which you can admire from below anyway Overall worth it but take note

Well organized Island tour!

Lots to see, and just rhe right amount of time on each stop. The guide was very good, we learned a lot about greek culture and habbits too, not just facts about the visited sites. Even the teenager loved the trip.

a great day

The day Island bus trip was a fantastic day. Michael, the guide was just brilliant, he was full of history, a lot of stories and spoke a lot of languages. We visited a lot of different placs (wine and olive oil tasting place, Elafos...Lunch was in a local restaurant up in the hills. Thank you for the great day!

Schöne Tour

Es war eine schöne Tour. Zeitlich getaktet - dennoch schön. Schwimmen war nicht möglich - vermutlich auch zu kalt. Danke an Georgios (ich hoffe richtig geschrieben): ein sicherer und toller Fahrer. Danke auch an Nina - ich habe viel wissenswertes gelernt.

Mooi en prachtig uitzicht.

Zeer mooie rondrit en zeer goede gids. Chauffeur weet waar te stoppen voor mooie foto's en is zeer vriendelijk. Best rechtsreeks boeken in het kantoor te Rhodos. Krijg je uitleg en dan kan je nadien beslissen. Niet opdringerig. Zeer lieve mensen.
