Day Trip to Lindos with pickup from Rhodes, Ixia, Ialyssos, Kallithea, Faliraki

Poor Services and bad representation.

first of All, very terrible communication. No pictures for pickup area , can't found the name of location on the Google map. we need to ask local and just arrive the pickup point , try to wave hand to the Red bus driver whose is just stop in front of the red light. But just ignore us...... No refund after..

Welcoming, informative and very accommodating

Our tour guide /driver Nikolas was friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. It was nice to hear more about the history of Rhodes on our journey. Once we arrived at Lindos we were given a map which showed the different walking routes you could do. We opted for the Acropolis route which was amazing once you reach the top with loads of photo opportunities. (would strongly advise wearing comfortable shoes and hat if you choose this route). Lindos town is stunning with lot's of places to eat, shop and the beach is close by. Before you head back you will also get the opportunity to get some great photos of the Lindos coastline. Lovely day out and value for money.

Excellent trip to Lindos

I recently took a van trip to Lindos with ManosGoing, and the experience was excellent. Everything was on time and well-organised from start to finish. The owner himself drove the van, and he ensured everything was impeccable. He was not only caring and fun but also incredibly knowledgeable about Lindos, sharing fascinating insights throughout the trip. Day trip to Lindos.

I recommend this trip which is good value. The coach was punctual with a great driver Michaelis and tour guide Gunta who provided helpful and relevant advice for the time spent in Lindos. Word of warning. Lindos gets very hot so just be prepared for that and you’ll have a great time.

Great day out

Ideal way to get to the bottom of the island for a great day out. A little over 4 hours to explore the area was a perfect amount of time to explore the beaches, acropolis, churches, streets and get some food. Would highly recommend.

Visit to Lindos

Friendly driver very helpful and informative, comfortable air conditioned transport ,would recommend this trip ,need to be fairly fit !

Punctual, safe and interesting

The driver was timely and very knowledgeable. It is not a guided tour trip, he was just chatting with people at the front of the bus. Passionate about Rhodes and its history.

Lovely day trip!

Pick up information provided ahead of time was excellent, with GPS coordinates for the correct location. Nikos, our driver, arrived at the time indicated and gave lots of interesting details on the way to Lindos. The 4hrs in Lindos was plenty of time to walk up to the acropolis, have a wander around the town and get some food. We didn’t go to the beaches, but there was plenty of time that you could have easily gone for a swim etc if you wanted to. Drop off point is up hill from the village, so make sure you leave enough time to walk back up. We stopped at a viewpoint above the city on the way back to take photos. Very well organised trip!

Lindos , Amazing day out

Our driver of the bus was very knowledgeable and spoke to us on the journey to Lindos about all the places of intrest on the Island. He was really friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our journey. Lindos was amazing from the beach, to the shops and amazing buildings but the best part was going ro the acropolis. It's a must see. My advice when you walk up to it is to take your time and rest for a few minutes when you need to. The acropolis is amazing and the views are spectacular. Entry is €12 pp. We saw a few ignorant people going through barriers and standing and sitting on parts that were roped off, just to take selfie's. The staff that were there were blowing thier whistles at them and asking them to get down or to move off the protected areas. While your up there just before you pay there is a little cafe . They do the best fresh orange juice slush I've ever had. You have to try it. The toilets are free but there are about 10 steps to get to them. Amazing day out. Booking the day out was easy to do online and they were prompt picking us up and then brining us back. It was well worth the money.

10/10 would recommend

We really wanted to go to Lindos for the day from Ixia, however it was 2 hours on a public bus (which are horrificly warm and I’m not sure we would have survived that long with no air conditioning) or around 60 euros in a taxi each way. I found this trip and it was the best decision we made. The air conditioned coach was beautiful in this heat and so comfy. The driver was lovely and gave us a little map recommending places. We would definitely recommend mythos (the place they recommend for food) as the food is amazing and the views are stunning. Would definitely use this company again if we ever need to do another day trip. You get 4 hours in Lindos which we found to be the perfect amount of time. This trips a bargain for what you get!

Great trip and Nikos was a great host

A great trip. We stayed at the Elysium Hotel and Niko picked us up on time right outside the hotel. The mini bus was super clean and air conditioned. On the way to Lindos, Niki would give tell us interesting facts about monuments and the island in general. He dropped us off in Lindos and we met back at 3pm. On the way back we stopped at a view point to get photos. Nikos was passionate about the Lindos and the island. Definitely recommend

Superb all round!

Superb service from Pavlos, our driver from Manos. Excellent trip, well worth the money & seen plenty on the island.

Enjoyable tour and worth the price

It was a lovely trip, not a full day but you don’t really need it. If you want to see the Acropalis, wear sturdy shoes and be prepared to climb 300 steps but once there, it is breathtaking. The market town at the bottom is also a little gem, plenty to eat, drink and buy those souvenirs. Also if you love cats, be on the look out for the street cats, Rhodes Island has hundreds and a few are on the walk up, so by all means bring cat treats.

Well worth it

We took this trip in late April on the advice of a neighbour back home who knew we were staying near Rhodes Old Town & I'm so glad I had that conversation . This trip was great. A 9:15 pick up, but the coach was clean & modern & it's probaly just me who thinks that's early on holiday! The journey takes approx. an hour & half each way from Ixia, but sit back & enjoy. Lindos itself was a beautiful white washed town with lovely views, the Acropolis & St Paul's Bay (a little beach), plus lots of good value restaurants (we were slightly ahead of season - prices may have risen since). The Acropolis requires a level of fitness & most definitely sensible flats! I wouldn't like to go in peak season, as the straeets are tiny & it was mobbed with just one cruise ship crowd also there for the day! However we enjoyed a wonderful day walking, dining, drinking & taking in the views.

Excellent driver that puts comfort first!

Nikkos was a great driver that gave us good information on our way over to Lindos. On the way back he noticed I was exhausted and gave us me a water bottle to help me catch my breath and cool down. Overall he made the drive very enjoyable and was accommodating the entire way making sure our comfort came first!

Excellent Tour Of Rhodes And Lindos

My wife and I were visiting Rhodes for a day in May on a cruise ship and booked this tour on line prior to getting there. The booking process was easy and we had great communication from the company leading up to the tour. We were picked up at the cruise port and then went and picked a few others up from other hotels in the area. Our guide was Isabella who was fabulous. Very friendly and informative and certainly knew her stuff. She went with us into Rhodes Old Town and the village of Lindos, explaining the history of both places. We were back in plenty of time before the ship sailed, so no stress in that regard. A great tour. Highly recommend.

Super day trip out

A very convenient pick up with a friendly driver on an air conditioned bus. Time allowed at Lindos was very adequate. Enough time to visit the acropolis, eat and shop. Easy to find the bus in the car park with an octopus in the window:)

Wonderful trip

Our bus driver was amazingly knowledgeable, I enjoyed listening to everything he told us on the hour journey to Lindos. The actual town of Lindos is stunning, like a fairy tale town. Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly despite it being busy and hot. The ruins of the acropolis and the old fort were beautiful and the information provided was very detailed. We learned so much and saw so many beautiful things. I would absolutely recommend the tour, the company and Lindos itself. Wonderful experience.

Simple return bus trip

Simple round trip by air-conditioned bus to Lindos and back to your hotel. Dropped us off at about 10.45 and picked up around 3pm which we thought was plenty of time to explore the place and have lunch. You get a small leaflet with a map and a photo opportunity, but don’t expect any further tour-guide stuff. All in all, worth the extra money to avoid a slow, cramped, sweaty public bus.

Great experience

Great experience and although the driver was mainly there to pick up and drop off, the journey was good and it was much cheaper than taxi’s. The trip to Lindos is well worth a visit, highly recommended.

Superb day out

Fabulous day trip to Lindos in a nice air conditioned coach, left to do whatever you want for 4.5 hours in the stunning part of the world. Booked the coach and paid and was given our pick up time from lalisos coach was on time and was given some info on lindos which was helpful Upon arrival you are dropped off in coach park and off you go to explore wherever you want. The coach was ready to go on time and a quick photo opportunity on way back, our driver was friendly and knowledgeable and I for one will be booking this again next year on our return. Highly recommended

Explore Lindos at your own pace

For us this was the best way to see Lindos. We got the transfer there and back in a relatively small group with four hours to ourselves to explore the Acropolis, town and beaches at our own pace. If you don’t like being a sheep but still want to see the sites without the cost of a taxi, strongly recommend this. Only downer was we were up the back and the drive gave some great history which was hard to hear unless you were up the front - maybe drivers could wear a headset microphone

Lovely trip

Travelling to Lindos couldn’t have been anymore stress free and easy. I got my pick up time not long after booking and they were right on time. Lovely air conned coach (it was very warm outside!) and I felt very safe. We had a picture at the viewing point on Lindos and had around 4/4.5 hrs free time. I would 100% recommended going St Paul’s Bay whilst your there.

nicely organized transfer to beautiful lindos :)

Very nice driver, punctual pickup from hotel, photo stop was long enough. we had enough time to visit akropolis, the shops and enjoy the sun and sea at st. paul’s bay with a nice lunch. we would definitely recommend this transfer and you shouldn’t miss out on lindos! :)

Nice tour,beautiful beach!

The ride to Lindos went smoothly and timely. The driver informed us of our pick up time. Don't miss the church museum. I would recommend spending time at this swimming beach as it is nice and calm with warmer water. I missed out as we had a non-beach lover in our group, but my feet loved the sandy shallow water!

Amazing day trip!

Absolutely recommend this trip! The communication with the tour company was wonderful and the pick up and drop off was seamless. Lindos is absolutely beautiful, definitely worth a visit!

Wonderful day in Lindos

Our trip to Lindos was very nice and easy with Manos going!! Our driver Nikos was very friendly and professional, he also had a lot of interesting facts about Rhodes and its history. The minibus was very comfortable and clean. :) everything went better than expected, including the pickup and communication with the trip organizer. 5/5, can totally recommend!!

Comfortable coach trip to Lindos

Coach arrived exactly on time, and we had a very comfortable journey to Lindos. Enjoyed visiting the Accropolis and had time for a spot of lunch, too. Our very courteous driver was waiting with the coach at the agreed place and time again. A very easy way to visit Lindos, and we thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Make memories with this amazing trip!

This trip is a must if you visit Rhodes. What a beautiful place and the bus driver was superb! Carlos (with the octypus as his mascot) looked after his passangers, kept us informed and gave us full instructions about the journey and times. He stopped off at a beautiful viewing point for us to take photos! What an amazing experience and the bus was clean and had air conditioning. The driver had great music playing on the journey too! Highly recommend this company and driver. 100% Booked through the Tour agency near our hotel Belair Beach and excellent service! Friendly staff and easy to book. You wont be dissapointed by using this company!

Rhodes private tour

Fabulous private tour of Rhodes.Our transport was very comfortable and private as we had the whole tour bus to ourselves (3). Nikos our driver was very informative about the island and Tim's and showed us many beautiful sights. He was helpful and polite stopping off for us to take pictures. 5🌟 service .

Wonderful day trip to Lindos

We were lucky to have Manos as our guide on a private day trip to Lidos. Very knowledgeable and personable. We learned a lot and had a fantastic time. Spectacular views along the way. Made two stops along the way for sightseeing and photos.

Lindos Express day Trip.

I booked a day trip on the Lindos Express package with Manos Going. A lovley clean modern Red Mini bus showed up on time at our hotel (Eden Roc) and took us to Lindos. If multiple Manos Going buses show up at the hotel, simple look out for the name of the trip booked written on front windscreen on a large sign. After picking everyone up the bus went straight to Lindos. At the bus depot in Lindos there is a public pay toilet (50cent Euros) , just ask the bus driver where it is. Further toilets are located down in lindos. Walk down to lindos is a winding narrow 2way road. Takes about 10min to walk down. Or you can catch a transfer bus down for 50c. We had 4hours in Lindos which seemed like a lot, but by time we went up to the Acropolis, grabbed a lite bite to eat we were put of time. Make sure to get back up to bus with time to spare to make return transfer. On the way out of Lindos the bus stops just outside Lindos for some photographs for 5min looking back over Lindos, then back on bus back to Hotel. Overall bus was spotless and cool in the day heat. Thank you for adding to the memories.

Good day trip to Lindos.

Clean mini-coach was on time, careful and polite driver. Allowed around 4 hours in Lindos which was enough. Only criticism is that coach seats are cramped without much legroom.

Brilliant experience

Manos took us on a brilliant tour to Lindos. The transfer was in a smaller very comfortable minibus, the aircon and leather seats made for a comfortable journey. On the way, Manos made sure to point out sights along the journey and once we arrived, it was made very clear how long we had and where to meet for the return journey. All in all it was a brilliant way to travel to Lindos, if you're looking for a transfer that's comfortable and efficient, I'd highly recommend booking with Manos

Great day out in Lindos

Great day out in Lindos, great old village with mediaeval town set above and we'll worth the 15 minutes walk. Great seaview from drop off location, well worth the day trip.

Overall great experience

Really convenient trip. Driver was on time and friendly, he also did a great job of letting us know where he was collecting us and roughly how long we’d be travelling. Worth the money to relax in an air conditioned bus after climbing the hill at Lindos in baking heat. Just take plenty of water on your trip.

Lindos Trip

The trip to Lindos was lovely, such a beautiful place. Picked up promptly from our hotel and delivered safely. Excellent service.

What a rip-off, really disappointing

We thought it would be a guided trip. Basically it was just a ride there and back and the 4 hours in between you're on your own. I could have found a taxi for much less if I wanted too. I feel cheated and want a refund.

Very efficient tour, comfortable coach.

An easy way to get to Lindos.Good communication and coach was on time. Because we were staying in Rhodes, you get to see a bit more of the island on the way there. Lindos is a must do, but so many tourists, and this is only April. Bring your sturdiest most comfortable shoes!

Fantastic wonders of Lindos and Kalithea

A very good day out being shown the wonders of Lindos, Kalithea and having a very knowledgeable tour guide with us. We had stops for photos with a great backdrop of St Paul’s Bay, Anthony Quinn Bay, the Olympic Stadium and the church of Assumption.
