Boat Trip to Symi Island with swimming stop at St George Bay

Great experience

We are so happy we choose to go to Symi with Half Price Tours, it was the most affordable option we could find and we were not disappointed. St George’s Bay is magnificent and swimming in those waters was super refreshing. Symi is also like nothing we ever saw before and we got so many good pictures, we also got a discount to a few places on the island which was great. The amount of time we got on both spots was perfect as well.

Great boat trip, Symi island is a must! George recommended a beautiful taverna which is a must! This trip is a must do whilst in Rhodes.

Fabulous

Absolutely amazing tour, we stopped at St Georges Bay on the way to Symi island for an hour, (bring your own snorkling equipment), we loved this part of the trip. There was a goat on the beach!!! Other boats arrived after us and left before our boat, so really pleased with the amount of time we spent at St Georges Bay. We then headed for Symi island for 3 hours, plenty of time here,beautiful place, food amazing. The boat didn't leave until everyone was on board, it was a bit choppy on the way back so if you get seasick bring some tablets and a bag.

Excellent day. A must is the swimming stop at St georges Bay. We swam ashore and were met by the local goat. Eally pretty bay.Don't worry if your not a strong swimmer they have floats and you can stay near the boat. The bar on board has everything e.g icecreams but note its cash only

The trip was really good - the sea being choppy curtailed moving around the boat - that’s just the way is. Could have spent longer in Symi

Great trip!

Very good trip to symi island and swim stop at St. George’s bay. Coach transfer was fantastic, on time, air con and nice driver. We got the luxury boat which was nice as it had proper toilets and sinks as well as being able to buy a drink and a snack. Overall, really good trip and would recommend!

A pleasant boat trip with just the right balance of things to do

My son (16) and I had a great day in this tour. The boat (Doll) was spacious, not over-crowded and very comfortable. The swimming stop at St George’s Bay was fun and much needed in the heat. Noodles were provided for those not comfortable without a buoyancy aid. The stop at Symi was pleasant and there are some interesting shops and restaurants to browse, plus you can pay respects at the war memorial. All in all a good day (with some added adventure when the waves were a bit choppy on the return route!)

Great Boat Trip

I loved this boat trip to Symi, it was the highlight of my trip to Rhodes. The communication from George was great regarding pickup & the driver arrived on time to transport everyone to the harbour. Would defintely recommend & Symi is stunning!

This trip was great! Symi island is really nice place. So many restaurants and small shops. The whole trip was perfectly otganized and guys really check if we are all on the boat :)

Amazing experience

We really enjoyed this trip, it was an amazing experience and everything was so well organised. The tour guide was available on WhatsApp and was super friendly and responded promptly to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend!

Exactly what we were looking for

We wanted to visit Symi while on our holiday in Rhodes but did a bit of shopping about first before settling on half price tours as a provider. Booking was really easy and compared to other prices offering the same thing, really reasonable. We paid just shy of €40 each for the trip and that also included being picked up and dropped back at our hotel. The instructions were really clear and we know what the itinerary for the day would be. The boat ride is quite long (bring something to keep you busy!) but the stop to swim was fabulous and everyone was in great spirits. We had plenty of time to walk around Symi and were brought back safe and sound. Only tiny thing that I’d consider a negative was that the boat was cash only. We had some but do prefer to pay by card so it would help to warn people of this in advance. However, we really enjoyed ourselves and would happily book with half price tours again - a quick, simple and pleasant experience. Thanks!

Fantasic day trip.

Fantastic day from start to finish Picked up from hotel bang on time and taken to office in Rhodes - about a 1 minute walk from the harbour and the most beautiful luxury boat. Extremely reasonably priced 55Euro each for the day plus 15 Euro return transfer to Kolympia. Set sail bang on 10am and arrived in St.Georges bay on Symi island around 11.30 for 90 min swim, sunbathing etc. Absoulutely stunning location. 13.30 arrive into Symi harbour. Breathtaking scenery. 3hrs later back on board for fast trip back to Rhodes harbour. Taken back to hotel by George who just made this day even better, banging out his tunes in air conditioned mini bus All round fantastic value for money, very well organised and excellent communication via whattsapp, email and phone calls to re confirm all details. Would highly recommend and use again

We had such an amazing time, we were picked up from our hotel and dropped off on the way home for only an extra €9 each in total. All the staff were so friendly and our trip was lovely, it’s a must do for anyone visiting!

Fantastic planned day trip with the family

Fantastic day trip, picked up from hotel taken to head office in rhodes to check in then on to the boat, ( tip for kids i had ee phone signal for Internet the entire journey) St georges bay was amazing (wish we had longer here) but was enough to swim to shore and back, our children loved jumping of the boat in to the crystal clear water. The main symi town was very pretty and plenty of time to stroll around and eat befoee boarding the boat to return, Our trip was finished of with a mini bus ride back to our hotel where our driver (think his name was andreas, was a raver and had the bus enjoying some music and dancing (in our seats). Overall great day and booked direct in the shop in rhodes Thank you

Wonderful experience

What an amazing boat journey to the beautiful Symi island hosted by halfpricetours. The swim stop was breathtaking too. It was also reasonably priced compared to many other tours we looked at.

The boat trip from Rhodos to Symi was fantastic! Booking was very easy, and everything went smoothly with the crew. The highlight was swimming in the turquoise waters of Saint George's Bay. Symi's colorful houses and vibrant harbor added charm, offering great food and shopping.

Well organised trip to beautiful Symi. Unfortunately current at St George’s Bay was quite strong so we didn’t stay in the water for long but beautiful spot.

Symi day trip.

I can’t recommend half price tour’s enough. The mini bus picked us up out of the hotel to take us to Rhodes town, where we booked in to the tour office a few hundred yards from the boat that was transferred us to Symi. Symi is a beautiful island about 1.5 hrs away from Rhodes port by boat and is well worth the trip. If you want to explore the island more than just the harbour area , I would recommend hiring a scooter as it is very hilly. When I booked this trip , I was searching through GetYourGuide and this trip came up as an option. Communication about the trip was excellent and when I couldn’t figure out which bus stop to wait at outside the Hotel - Agne and the team responded very quickly. Five stars for me.

Simply wonderful!

This tour should definitely be on your list when you are visiting Rhodes! The driver was really charming, the ride was stunning and the views were just spectacular! I went back home feeling grateful I booked it. I will definitely do it all over again!

A great experience

Loved seeing what a beautiful place Symi is, very scenic and took plenty of pictures. The stop at St.George bay was amazing also took a lot of pictures and enjoy a swim up to the beach.

Fantastic experience form initial booking which took minutes to complete, to returning to hotel. Very reasonable considering our hotel was an hour away from Rhodes harbour, St George’s bay was like a dream, and symi island was out of this world, I would absolutely recommend booking through half price tours if you want an easy efficient and very reasonably priced experience, we will definitely use them again when we come back 😁

Fast Boat

The trip itself was great! The crew were attentive and helpful. The swimming spot was beautiful. The one problem was the with the description of the tour stated Fast Boat and swimming. We got to the event where we were informed that the fast boats don’t stop for swimming. Not able to cancel without forfit of payment we decided to go anyway. Descriptions have to be more accurate

Best boot trip to Symi in Rhodes

The best boot toor to Symi with the best price. There is a stop in St. George Bay to take a swim an enjoy the beautiful waters and a 3 hours stop in Symi to see the small city and enjoy a good lunch. Highly recommend.

Nice relaxing trip

Symi was beautiful and the locals were so friendly. I took pictures of all the houses as they were different colours. The water was so blue and clear you could see the fish. I had a light lunch in a restaurant which was lovely and very reasonably priced. It was a lovely trip I highly recommend. I didn't do swimming but was fun watching all the others

Fantastic!

We had a lovely time on this boat trip! The boat was comfortable and the snack selection was good. As it's such a long trip it would be great to have some sort of info or entertainment from the staff but other than that we had a fantastic time. The water at st Georges bay was amazing and symi island is unique. The restaurants half price tours suggested was really great! We even saw dolphins on the way back which was an incredible suprise!

Lovely day out to symi Island

Boat trip was amazing & 100% recommend stopping at StGeorges Bay. Breath taking views from all around. Bout was just over 2 hours each way. Make sure you get there early and good seats otherwise you'll be sat in the sun or uncomfortable seats. There is only cash on the boat for refreshments. A brilliant day out! Definitely try the symi shrimp when you get there.

Amazing trip with 5 Star service

We had the most fantastic day start to finish with half price tours. The hotel pick up and drop off was so efficient and made our trip so stress free. The crew on the boat were so so kind to me and my family. We can’t think of a single way the trip could have been better! Thank you to all at Half Price Tours for making our holiday a great one!

Professional and Accommodating

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Agne reached out in advance to ensure everything was in order for the booking. The whole team were extremely professional and accommodating, with bus pick ups being extremely punctul, and a staff member directing the group once the baot had docked back in Rhodes. I can not recommend Half Price Tours enough for this trip and you have to do the stop at Saint George Bay!

Great trip !

We had a slight change to our plans as the boat we were meant to be boarding the next day unfortunately had problems but Agnes was great in informing us of this as soon as he knew there was an issue and was very helpful in rescheduling us for another trip to Symi with swimming for us which my daughter desperately wanted to do . We actually stopped at Santa marina bay for our swim which was stunning with beautiful crystal clear waters and nice and quiet before we headed to beautiful Symi . The boat was great and all the staff very helpful . Would highly recommend going on this this trip and booking with this great company .

Accommodating and Friendly

We booked a Symi boat tour via Tripadvisor prior to visiting Rhodes. We got a message off Half Price Tours the day before to say there was a problem with the vessel. This was very welcome to let us know in advance rather than turn up to be told so kudos to the team for that. Even better they offered us the same trip on a different boat just without the swimming stop. Very accommodating of them. The boat was lovely, the air conditioned compartment was welcome also! You could buy snacks and drinks on board; the staff were lovely and helpful and everything ran seamlessly. Would recommend to anybody!

Great day out to a magical Island

Fantastic trip from start to finish. Half Price Tours were spot on with communication and I would recommend to anyone. The boat was lovely and had plenty of snacks and drinks. Swimming at St George bay was AMAZING and we got 1hr as advised. Symi Island should definitely be on everyone's bucket list. Its like a little cove of colorful happiness. Thank you Half Price Tours.

Well organized tour!

We visited Symi Island with one swimming stop in St. George Bay and also participated in the tour to Lindos. Both tours were very well organized. We needed a transfer from Kallithea and got picked up by a good minibus with air conditioning. We always stayed updated by George via WhatsApp and were able to easily communicate with him. We always received a reply very quickly. Also the driver was very friendly and nice! About the tours: Symi Island: Symi Island is really beautiful, and 3 hours for the visit is enough. The swimming stop was really nice and refreshing. Tour to Lindos: Even better! We loved that place! The beautiful white town, despite having a lot of tourists, still allowed us to get nice photos. The beach was very beautiful with clear water! We didn’t visit the acropolis since we preferred to spend the time in the old town and on the beach. Otherwise, we wouldn’t have had enough time to enjoy everything within 3 hours. However, this is a good reason to come back someday 😊. Can warmly recommend this company🤗

Great company, better boat trip

Booked through their website which was very easy to follow. The communication from them was amazing, particularly as we had weather conditions which prevented the boat sailing on 2 occasions. They WhatsApp'd us the day before explaining the situation and giving us the option to transfer our booking to another day that suited. The pick up was so easy and the trip was pain free. Great trip to have taken with lovely views and experiences. If I had to pick one 'negative' from the experience the transfer price felt rather expensive- although that being said the competitive pricing of the boat trip itself brought it inline (if not still a bit cheaper) that other competitors.

Best trip in Rhodes

This was a perfect trip!! 11/10 must to on simi is beautiful city with beautiful people. And seimming in the bay was refreshing and i like that. Water was cold but beautiful blue. This is the one of the best trips on rhodes. ( and in the end i must thanks to the man who has this trip organized he was very kind and very good man). Half prize tours!! Every time
