Boat Trip to LINDOS with Swimming Stops at Anthony Quinn's & Tsambika Bays

All day trip well worth the money

We booked easily enough from a tour operator in Ialysos. Coach picked us up in early morning about 8ish to take us all to Rhodes Marina,where our boat awaited. We received a warm welcome from the crew and boarded with no problems. Then we set off. The journey itself took us out of Rhodes down the east coast to lindos, passing Kallithea springs and Faliraki beach, before we stopped at Anthony Quinn bay for half hour swim. The bay itself was beautiful and a prime spot for a dip and snorkel in the sea. Crystal clear blue waters and lots of shoals of little fish. Once we got back on, we headed down to Lindos itself, where we disembarked for our 3 hour stint in Lindos. Lindos itself is very picturesque set inside a bay, with beautiful white buildings stretching up into quite a steep hill to the acropolis. Please note that the acropolis does cost extra (12 euros) and is not part of the package. We didn't go as it was way too hot to get much further than the hill when we went. It's also a steep climb and not really suitable for little feet. There were a few donkeys to get people up there if needed, but the poor buggers looked that day that they would rather rest. When our time came, we embarked again for the return trip home, and after another little swimstop just south of Faliraki, we headed back and got back into Rhodes harbour about 5pm. TLDR Highlights Anthony Quinn bay larger boat so less rocking Lindos is beautiful and worth visiting crew are multilingual Small bar on board for drinks and ice creams (sold seprately) Tips Board early to get the seats you want. no presered or allocated seating (to get best views of land face starboard on outward, and port for return leg) Take decent shoes if planning to explore Lindos, flip flops won't really cut it with those slopes Watch out for the headwind as you approach Rhodes on the return leg,Blew quite a few caps off heads once the boat rounded Kallithea All in all great value for a day out of the resort... would highly recommend

Lovely people and a great trip to do whilst in Rhodes

The communication from Half Price Tours was great from the point of booking. We had a small delay in collection in the morning of the tour, but it didn't impact on the day at all and George, the owner of the company, was very apologetic and more than made up for the delay. The trip itself was great with a nice boat ride to Lindos and then two stops on the way back for dips in the water to cool off. A good way to spend the day in Rhodes and a much nicer alternative to a coach trip to Lindos. Everyone we spoke to at Half Price Tours had been very friendly and welcoming.

Successful trip

It was very easy to book and the staff was friendly. Would recommend to anyone who wants to visit Lindos solo or with friends. Also the price was more than fair.

Amazing from booking, coach transfer to the boat. All staff are very welcoming and accommodating all round. Boat was immaculate, with a great selection of refreshments/snacks! Amazing trip!

Amazing staff from booking, coach transfers and all the lovely members on the boat! Great selection of snacks/refreshments on the boats and facilities are great too! A family run business which provides exceptional customer service and go above and beyond for you. We had amazing views and the company gave us plenty of time at each stop to take in the scenery. Amazing day out!

The boat trip was very well organised and you get a decent 3 hours in Lindos, which is plenty of time to have a look around and have some nice lunch. Definitely worth having lunch at once of the rooftop bars, you get such a lovely view! On the way back the stop at Anthony Quinn Bay is very scenic, this is where to have the chance to swim if you would like to. All around a very well organised and enjoyable day out, would definitely recommend going with Half Price Tours for anyone wanting to visit Lindos.

Great trip, highly recommend!

We would highly recommend this trip, Our driver picked us up on time from our hotel and had kept in touch on WhatsApp. We joined the boat in the old town harbour for a 2 hr boat ride to Lindos, the boat was busy but plenty of seats and there are refreshments to purchase and clean toilets. We arrived in the beautiful bay at Lindos and walked through the old streets up to the Acropolis which is amazing and wow the views! We then had some wine at one of the many restaurants in the bay (reasonably priced) rejoined the boat which stopped twice for swimming in the beautiful clear blue waters! Finally arrived back in Rhodes old town where our driver was waiting for us! Great service all the way!

Perfect boat trip to Lindos

The trip was well organised and the boat clean and comfortable. 3 hrs in Lindos is enough to climb up and see the Acropolis and have lunch and a quick walk round the town. Swim stop rounded off the trip perfectly. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending Half Price Tours

Amazing sights but very windy

A good selection of food and drink, helpful and polite staff both on the boat and organising the pickups, kept us informed throughout. Beautiful weather and lindos village is gorgeous. The acropolis was breathtaking, we did purchase skip the queue tickets while we were on the boat and glad we did, the queues at the top were massive. We walked straight past and had a good hour exploring. Unfortunately it was a very windy day so on the return journey we ran out of time and were unable to Snorkel at the Anthony Quinn bay, which was a shame.

Brilliant trip! Such a gorgeous day out on a lovely boat, the views were brilliant. You get lots of time in Lindos to explore and the spots to swim in are so private.

Fun day trip.

Great communication when we booked to the night before with where we need to go and even afterwards we had a message, we decided to get transport from our hotel and I’m glad we did it’s just the ease of getting there and being picked up afterwards, would definitely use again 😊 The swim stops were amazing crystal blue water, and Lindos beach was so nice. The boat has a nice stocked bar with snacks and drinks ( reasonable priced ) and they accepted card which was great. it was a great day out !!

Exploring Rhodes

Myself and my partner booked this trip last minute due to its excellent reviews on tripadvisor. The host is super modern and clean with a mix of sunbeds and cushioned seating . The bar selection was way above the standard we expected -cocktails , iced coffees etc but served to a high standard . The trip lasted 8 hours and brought us to the most beautiful areas on the island . If your going to Rhodes - book this trip !

Perfect day.

Perfect day. Beautiful, modern clean boat, charming professional staff, incredible views on the way to a stunning destination. Lindos takes everything you want from Greece and delivers it to you the moment you step onto its sandy beach. Clear waters, brilliant white buildings against stunning blue skies. There's even a magnificent acropolis to walk around. The highlight of our journey home was diving from the boat into the deep, crystal clear ocean, swimming through the sea life with my daughter and looking back at the cliffs that surrounded us. A magical moment we'll never forget. Upon departure we were met by the team who personally escorted us to our bus. They safely transfered us back to our hotel as efficiently as the collected us in the morning. So good, such good value, would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you.

Definately recommend!

Trip was awesome! Went with my girlfriend and we both loved it! Lindos is a beautiful town to discover and the acropolis has such an eventfull history. Bathing stops were great! On Tsambika there was not a single soul in sight. The crew even brought some pool noodles and a boombox with them. Transfer was also well organized and in time. Overall, we would choose the tour again and definately recommend it 😎 🇬🇷

Lovely day on the water and climbing to Lindos

Really good fun as we sailed along the Rhodes coast. Just the right amount of time at all 3 stops. Lindos is quite a climb but most people managed it to the top!

Everything went smoothly, very simply arranged. After picking up the tickets, we walked straight onto the boat. Very relaxing boat trip with very affordable food and drinks on the boat. Once we arrived at Lindos, sat time to see the village at leisure. And saw very beautiful bays on the way back to Rhodes Town.

Really great day trip to experience. Lindos is amazing, definitely do the walk up to the Acropolis, it is worth it! We had enough time to wander around the town too. The two swimming stops on the way back are amazing, the water was so warm. The transfer to and from the hotel was ideal. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Excellent tour

The tour was excellent and great value for money. Picked up from the hotel and taken to the harbour. Staff and crew were welcoming and courteous. The trip was amazing. Lindos is beautiful place. It was a very relaxing day. Taken back to the hotel from the harbour at the end of the trip. Would highly recommend.

It was a fantastic day

My partner and I booked the Half Price Tours boat trip to Lindos. We were really pleased with how everything went and would definitely recommend it. The day trip was well organised and the boat had great facilities (plenty of good toilets, AC, affordable snacks and drinks). We were very comfortable throughout. Lindos is a must see destination and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We also really enjoyed the two swim stops and did some snorkelling. If you want to reserve a sun bed on the boat arrive at 07:45-08:00am (they were all taken when we arrive at 08:15).

An excellent day trip out

Booking, communication and picking up tickets was an easy process. Went on the discovery boat. Impressed on the cleanliness on the boat and making sure the decks were mopped down after people had been swimming. The staff were all very attentive. Half hour stops at the bays for swimming perfect and long enough in Lindos. Sunbeds on the top deck as well as seating in the shade. It was a busy boat with people but didn't seem overcrowded. Would recommend

Lindos and swimming trip

We booked a last minute tour to lindos with a couple stops for swimming and snorkeling. It was absolutely amazing!! It included pick up and drop off from where we were staying and it was well worth the price. We were able to explore and relax, we got some opportunities to swim in the sea and the crew onboard was amazing!

Great value for money, Helpful staff and amazing day.

A last-minute trip booked for Rhodes led me to book this trip from Rhodes town with Half Price Tours. The price was great for such a full-on day. The office is next to Beneton just opposite the bus station. George sent a message via WhatsApp on the evening before confirming the details and times. I arrived at the office on the day of the trip collected tickets and headed down the short walk to the boat. The boat is big and over 3 levels. There is a bar area where you can buy toasted sandwiches, doughnuts, filled rolls, crisps, tea, coffee, beers and water. All are reasonably priced. 2.50 for a cheese and ham toasties, 1.00 for a bottle of water etc. The trip was great. a nice steady sail down to Lindos, plenty of time to climb up to the acropolis and then have a leisurely lunch. Back on the boat for 2pm then a short sail to Anthony quin bay for a snorkel stop. Return to the boat and then another short sail to Faleraki for another swimming stop before heading back to Rhodes. Plenty of seating options, from inside on the lower deck which is also the smoking area outside here. There are toilets in the bar/food area. Covered and uncovered on the second deck and then seats and sunloungers on the upper deck. We took our own snorkel masks and used their pool noodles for extra floatation. Don't forget your towels to dry off. We changed into swimwear after visiting Lindos and then changed again before heading ashore. We were local to the harbor so did not need the coach pick up, but i would of happily of paid for it if we had needed it. Great value for money, helpful staff, and wonderful memories made.
