Great fun and well worth it

ATV Tour was great fun, definitely recommended. Guillermo and Hermoso were great guides, took great pics! Walking tour of the rainforest and lunch at the end were also great.

Husband and I shared the ATV. It was a fun excursion! Gabriel was our guide and was great! A must do if you’re not afraid to get dirty!

Such a blast! Book it

So fun!!! We went during Thanksgiving week, which the rain is ending; however we had a lot of mud puddles to go through which was a blast and going through the palm farm and rural areas was just beautiful. We enjoyed the waterfall at Rainmaker and then had a nice ride back. Thanks to Fourtrax and the guides, they ensured we rode safely.

Must take tour!

Awesome tour! The staff was friendly. The activity was just great! Pura vida! We went through the jungle and arrived to an amazing waterfall.

Fun tour and quick hike

Fun ATV tour. It’s a nice ride through rivers, mud and a beautiful palm tree forest. You take a nice quick hike in the middle, they provide a snack at that point and a good lunch at the end.

We loved everything! The customer service was excellent. The animals were great to see. The views are amazing! I felt safe

Fun Adventure on ATVs

Great time with teenage kids. Just be careful turning onto new surfaces like road to gravel and u will be safe. Also go around puddles if the guide does 😄

Fun Tour!

This was by far the most fun we had in Costa Rica. Alex was an excellent guide. I have never used an ATV before, but they taught us quickly. Very easy and lots of fun. Highly recommend.

Great time

This was a great experience driving through palm forests and neighborhoods. Our guide was always helpful and attentive. Our kids had a blast driving through the mud and getting dirty. Definitely would do this tour again. The waterfall was beautiful. A bandana would be very helpful. The helmet do not smell nice and I wish I had something to cover my head. Food was wonderful at the end.

A memorable day out!

Great fun! You go through palm fields and a village and then lots of mud and puddles at the end. The waterfall swimming was refreshing. Fresh pineapple as a snack after was lovely. Make sure you pick a helmet which isn’t too tinted as you couldn’t see me in any of the photos sadly

Great tour.

The guides were awesome and the trail was great. So much fun. If it rains on your tour be grateful, it definitely adds to the experience. Food was also delicious. My only recommendations would be: They do not provide towels (I wish they did) and you’ll get pretty wet. Also the stop at the office was unnecessary (you should just sign waivers on the bus).

Lovely people but no waterfall

The men who operated the tour were great. They were full of life. They also took us on a test run with the ATVs to ensure we were safe. However, once we got to the waterfall my husband was in the bathroom and they left without us. We tried to find it- but it’s in the middle of the jungle. So we never got to see the waterfall. Bummer.

A must when in Manuel Antonio

Incredible ride through the palm plantation with a beautiful waterfall in the forest. Definitely a must.

Exciting Rainy Day ATV Adventure

My friend and I had a great experience on our ATV tour with FOURTRAX! We signed up for an afternoon slot and in total our tour was 4 people and a guide. Our guide was great and gave us an amazing ride through the palm trees and surrounding land. The practice rounds before heading on to the official trail were helpful in making us first-timers feel safe and ready. It rained a little during our ride but this added to the excitement. Unfortunately this did mean the park with the waterfall was closed for safety but we didn’t feel like we missed out on anything. The ATV ride was the main attraction and it did not disappoint! Both our mid-journey snack and meal after were so delicious.

This was a super fun adventure. We went through the jungle, through rivers, the guides were great. Lunch was delicious. Felt safe entire trip.

Rainy Ride!

Our tour guide Oscar was excellent! It was pouring down rain and he gave us the option to go anyway, which we decided to go ahead and go! We had tons of fun splashing through mud puddles and zipping through the palm groves! The whole time, Oscar made sure we were safe and comfortable despite the rain. Would highly recommend this tour!

Wonderful!!

Great trip, attentive and kind guides. The riding was fun and not overly challenging. And the hike to the waterfall was reasonable and a refreshing break. The hike is difficult if not sure footed, but not far.

Great Fun!

The tour started on the wrong foot. We were driving ourselves (not a hotel pick up) to the meeting point and the direction on the website was wrong. We landed up 20 minutes away from where we were supposed to be. We called the office and they sent a link with the correct directions. It brought us to a weird building, nobody around and no signage.. We had to call them again (very frustrating) and they said they were sending someone to come meet us, which they did. The tour itself was great. Our guide was very helpful in giving instructions prior to the tour, was friendly and knowledgeable. I was riding with my son in the back of me and we loved it! The waterfall was a little underwhelming ... the tour guide provided us with fresh and delicious watermelon and water bottles. It was a very hot day! Lunch was also delicious. My only complaint about the tour itself was that we went a little slow but that was mainly because it's a "community" tour, no passing, and the 2 people in front were young teenagers , so we had to follow their speed throughout the tour. But overall, it was a great experience. I would give this tour a 4 1/2 star.

ATV tour of some great terrain and beautiful scenery...

Great ATV tour of back roads, a Palm plantation and an excursion into the jungle to see a really pretty waterfall and natural pools. Aron led our foursome on the ATV portion and did a good job of keeping us safe. It was a solid afternoon of fun and exploration.

ATV was great, but also...

ATV was great, but also loved the falls and swimming. Great experience all around. Gift for our adult sons birthday. Hel loved it!

Slow; Worst Tour in Costa Rica.

The guides have egos and were dismissive. The dirt bike they gave me was originally broken and I pointed out that it didn't work how they instructed. When I insisted the controls were off they flipped it but made a big deal out of it. At the beginning I passed my mom at a very slow speed. The guide got off the bike and yelled at me and told me that I broke the rules. Then we never went over about 15 mph the whole time. The trip is mostly dirt road and palm plantation. I asked them at the rainer stop if we could go faster but they wouldn't. They said it was safety, and obviously we were way slower than a safe speed. We were in Costa Rica for 2 weeks and went on tours nearly every day. This one was the worst and only one I wouldn't have done again.

Had a blast!

It was a great time. My husband and two sons drove through the palm plantation, through rivers, up and down some nice terrain. You don’t have to necessarily be experienced to participate.

Great time

We had a great time with these guys, the trails through the palm farms were great and the hike to the small waterfall to cool off was even better. They offered a wonderful fruit snack and amazing lunch when we were finished. They were extremely friendly and concerned about our safety. Loved this!

I booked single ATVs for...

I booked single ATVs for my daughters, but they were not able to control it that well, so tour operator gave us side by side instead for safety and we were able to continue with the tour. Lunch was pretty authentic and tasty.

Oscar the tour guide was the best!

Our tour guide was Oscar, he was so professional and experienced. My friends and I had the best experience out of all the excursions we had done in Costa Rica this by far was all of our favorite! Thank you Oscar for such a wonderful day!!!!!!!!

Great experience

You ride the ATVs through a trail and then also along the river (where it gets fun!). There's a stop a rainmaker for a quick hike where you can swim or cross the hanging bridges.

My Wife and had a blast. Our guide was super friendly and very helpful giving advice on other activities and places to see. Loved the waterfalls at the swimming holes. We even went back to see the falls the next day on own own.Lunch was super good. And thats coming from a super picky eater.

Highlight of the Trip!

Super awesome, fun day ATVing. Great, high powered vehicles. Way more exciting and adventurous than tours we've done in the US. You cover so much territory. Very well organized and well run. Our guide was outstanding and really kept us moving. Fantastic way to enjoy beauty of Costa Rica. It's a must do! And their lunch was possibly our favorite meal of the whole trip! It was so delicious (which I know is an odd thing to mention in an ATV review). Book it! It's awesome.

Awesome ATV!

Came here for a bit of adventure and Oscar and the team did not disappoint! Felt safe the whole time on the ATVs. Came here with my husband but there were solo travelers as well as a big family - everyone had a blast. Would totally recommend and do it again if we come back!

TONS OF FUN!

This ATV tour was so much fun! Rocky roads, a couple of creek crossings and a dip in the pool at the waterfall. Highly recommend!

Great morning ATV adventure!

Fantastic time. We did the morning ATV which was preferable as by lunch time it was quite hot when we were leaving. Carlos was great, stopping to take pictures for us and telling us about the local plants and animals. Great way to spend the morning!

ATV Tour to Rainmaker Conservation Park

Loads of fun riding ATVs to and from the park and experiencing the refreshingly cool water in the waterfalls at Rainmaker! Most of the ride is shaded and on gravel road winding your way through the palm plantations in the rainforest. We saw a green and black poison dart frog and a hummingbird. We were given cold water and fresh fruit at the park and then served a traditional Costa Rican lunch of chicken, rice, beans and macaroni salad. The tour was fun and safe and the guides were friendly and professional.

Amazing tour

Wow such am amazing experience. Our tour guide ( Gabriel) help us set up and show us how to use the ATVs. Took us on different terrains and when we reach the water fall he gave us fruits and water and on the way back they had a Casado plate for lunch. So yummy 😋. One of my most memorable experiences in Costa Rica.

Amazing time!

Our group of 6 had an amazing time. Gabriel is the man! Awesome guide, great attitude. The ride up to Rainmaker was really fun, our group was tearing it up! Then we jumped into the water with our guide for a bit, shredded back to base and had a great lunch. Don’t pay attention to the poor reviews, this was much fun

Great guides- horrible experience

The guides were great! Friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. In fact, it was their professionalism and the beautiful waterfall that even remotely salvaged the trip. The equipment though was an entirely different story. Several of the ATVs had check engine and coolant lights that were on from the get go…never a good sign. I wish it was just an electrical issue and not a portent of things to come. Several times throughout the trip the ATVs broke down and had to have minor maintenance performed on them before the group could continue. It really made us feel unsafe on the 4 wheelers and hurt our enjoyment of the trip. We all felt like we couldn’t really rev our engines or enjoy four wheeling the way you’re supposed to for fear of them breaking down again. Then the helmets…oh gawd. I had to seriously call upon my courage when donning my helmet. I’m not being hyperbolic when I say it smelled like a middle school locker room…and it was wet. It was clear they did nothing to sop up that last persons sweat or disinfect/deodorize the helmets at all. If we hadn’t already paid and road all the way out already, I would’ve turned around then and asked for my money back. It’s clear the owner of this business is not interested in reinvesting into his equipment maintenance; and is taking advantage of tourists’ natural congeniality. I wouldn’t book with this place until the owner posts that how he’s addressed these issues. I will NOT be recommending this place to anyone while I’m here. In fact I’ll be actively telling other tourists not to go. Especially considering this was the most expensive, and least enjoyable, of all the activities we’ve done while here.

A+ Guides

This was a great first timer ATV adventure. Our kids (11 and 13) had a great time. They loved getting all muddied up. The excursion included a short hike to a waterfall where we could swim and snack. The route itself is not very challenging, but for first timers, I think, it is perfect. What really made this excursion fun were the guides. Alex and Alan were extremely patient, funny and very focused on our safety. They really went out of their way to make us feel at home and accommodate every need. They made special meals for the kids, went out of their way to pick us up from a lab were we getting our COVID test, and stopped by a grocery store before dropping us off at our hotel. Honestly, A+ on their service. Pura Vida!

A must do!

Such a great experience. Gabriel was our guide and he was fantastic. You go through some huge puddles and a couple streams and then you can swim at a little swimming hole by a smaller waterfall. Would highly recommend.

Don't Miss this!

What a great day! Alex took such great care of our family. He was very careful, however still made the day my boys highlight! The ATV's were new and nice. The hike and waterfall were amazing! The pineapple boats were a hit and we are now cutting pineapple like Alex! The lunch was delicious and ready as soon we arrived back. Everything was flawless. Highly Recommend!! A highlight of our trip!

Manuel Antonio Quepos ATV tour

Wow! What a great tour!!!! The company picked us up at our rental house and from the drive there to the end was top notch and very professional but also filled with lots of adventure! Alex was our guide and such a nice guy! The ride through the palm plantation was great and then we made our way to the Rainmaker park riding through a few local communities. Once at the park, we had a nice hike up to the main waterfall and was able to enjoy swimming at the base of the fall all to ourselves! It was raining a bit but was still absolutely stunning. Alex prepared a pineapple fruit snack and sad I didn’t capture his fun pineapple boat he carved! We made our way back down the mountain and back to base camp where a wonderful typical Costa Rican meal was prepared by the loveliest lady! Do yourself a favor and book with this company and ask for Alex the guide! ♥️

Exhilarating Tour March End 2020

We were in Manuel Antonio in 3rd week March during Corona Outbreak. The place was bustling with tourist but the country was shutting down. We were lucky enough to catch the last ATV tour before all National Parks shut down. We were given a google map address of a place some 30 mins from Manuel Antonio. The place was inside a palm tree plantation on a dirt road. We met our guide who gave us some training on ATV and started the tour. We started around 2 p.m and it was very hot and humid. Initially we were to be taken to a waterfall but due to Corona it was shut down. We drove through the plantation, dirt roads, local villages, water streams and then a steep road up a mountain. Instead of the waterfall we went on top of a mountain with amazing 360 degree view of the valley. We paused for water and pineapple break. The pineapples in Costa Rica are so juicy and tasty - a must have. We enjoyed the view for 30 mins and we saw the sun started to set. It was a long way back so we started heading out. My son, daughter and I drove while my wife and a toddler daughter were pillion riders. We were all dusty and little wet and made it back around 5:30. We were served a small meal with fresh rice, beans, salad and chicken or vegetables with ice tea. We washed ourselves and ate the tasty meal. We were the last tour before they shut down for Corona and our tour guide was planning to move to the Caribbean side till this problem was over. We had a really good time, we were all beginners so felt very safe and will recommend to everyone. It takes over 4 hours with the meal and is very hot and dusty. With the helmet you sweat a lot so wear comfortable cloths. Anyone looking for crazy adventure - this is not for you. All the very best to weather the Corona Storm.

Fun!

Very enjoyable ride thru the countryside of Costa Rica. Staff are great! Waterfall was very pretty and provided lunch was of good quality. Take some water shoes would be good advice and prepare to do some moderate walking.

Best day ever!

This was absolutely the best way to start our day! The trip was amazing.. I loved the little hike to the swimming hole and the lunch after was perfect! The whole staff was friendly also!
