Such a fun ATV tour!

Such an awesome ATV experience! My fiance and I went. It was my first time & he’s been many times and had a blast! Andrey is so kind & took us on such a cool tour. Highly recommend for any adrenaline junkie!

Awesome adventure!

Our tour guide Oscar was awesome! The experience was great, prepare to get wet and muddy. The lunch after the trip was fabulous!

Waterfall adventure

This tour is awesome! The ATVs are so fun to ride to the waterfall, and the guide, Andrey, was excellent. He took time to show us several things in the palm forests and jungle, which made it even more enjoyable.

Go! So fun, so amazing. Best ATV trip we've had! Everything about this trip was worth it. Food was great, guides were fantastic.

100% PURE FUN!

This was such a great experience and so much fun. My wife and I loved every minute of it. We rode through the rainforest to a waterfall and then back through rice fields and it was raining just the perfect amount. We were able to ride through the mud and get dirty! It's not a true ATV experience unless you get dirty! The staff was great and we couldn't be happier with the staff and the company.

Muddy fun - especially for thrill seekers

My teenaged son loved this! I lost my nerve (just couldn’t get happy steering) and ended up following with Oscar in a dune buggy (very muddy and fun, such a nice guy too). Carlos, the guide, was wonderful and very funny. There was a good amount of ATV driving in different scene-scapes (a little township, a palm oil plantation, to a rainforest), interspersed with a stop for a snack, a short walk in the forest and a dip in a waterfall. All this was followed by a fabulous meal. Very well run - with competence and humour. And, rest assured, if (like me) it turns out not to be for you, you will still have a fun time. Prepare to get very muddy!!

Kids favorite!

This was definitely an adventure! Lots of mud and fun. This was my kids (20 and 17) favorite experience. Nice swim in the natural pool halfway through and a great snack and lunch. The option to purchase photos was great and affordable. The pictures came out great.

Great trip

What a fun experience! When I found this tour, I was the only member of my family excited about it. As we wrapped up our trip, the family agreed that this was the highlight of a fun, active vacation. Our guide, Oscar, was fantastic, and did a great job dialing in the difficulty of the driving based on the ages of our teenage (but driving) kids. There was a helpful warm up on straight gravel roads to get started and then things got more fun. As others have shared, this is an ATV trip, with a brief stop at a waterfall, but a few of my kids thought the waterfall was the highlight, even though the stop was brief. The pineapple snack at the waterfall was the best we ate in CR with a pro move on carving up pineapple that we took home with us, and the traditional CR meal after the trip was to die for.

Well worth the price and would recommend it to visitors.

Good guides, good equipment and a fun route for ATV travel. Enjoyed the walk and visit of the swimming hole and falls. Very good lunch served upon return to the base facility.

It’s okay

It’s more ATV than waterfall. It’s nice to ride through the community with ATV. But if you’re looking forward to waterfall not much to see

Rain can’t stop the fun!

Alex and his crew were amazing. Kept it very fun and informative! The loop we took brought us through various terrain, including massively deep puddles. The snack during our hike was delicious and the meal at the end of the day was second to none. Highly recommend this to anyone!

Great family experience.

Our family of six did this tour today and ot was amazing. We range in age from 6 - 60 and none of us had ever ridden an ATV before. Our guide was Carlos and he was great. I'm 59 years old, fluffy size, and had the 6 year old riding with me. I was more of a sight seer vs. adventure speed rider. The hike to the falls was so beautiful. The kids all loved jumping into the falls. The snack break was perfect and the lunch afterwards was soooo good. Carlos was so patient and encouraging. I highly recommend this tour.

Amazing Experience

Loved everything about this tour! Our guide was very informative with training. The ride to the falls was incredible! It ended up being to fast of water so we couldn't swim at the falls but still amazing to see! It started downpouring, but it was still a fun ride back! DELICIOUS food to end our tour!

A must do!!

What an awesome day! After a short lesson on driving we headed out through a palm oil plantation and into Rainmaker park where staff provided fresh fruit and cookies before a short hike past a couple very nice waterfalls ending at a larger waterfall where we took a much needed dip before heading back. On the way back the guides took us through a fun track around a lake. Back at the base, we were served one of the best meals we had this trip! Added bonus: a photographer follows along and sets up all the best shots, we bought all of the pics for $10 each! Just all around fantastic! Tip: wear long pants and shirt, close toed shoes and plan on throwing it all away when it gets soaked in clay mud… totally worth it!!

Much more fun than expected. Great tour guide. Great vibes. Everything was perfect and the waterfall was a lot of fun to hang around.

Awesome awesome and a little more awesome

Had an amazing adventure and would go back 1000 more times. The guides were awesome and showed us lots of different animals during our small hike to the waterfalls. The guides really made the trip a good adventure

Great tour

This activity was so much fun. We has 2 doubles and one single. We were easily able to switch drivers if we wanted to. The whole whole tour with pick up and actual activity time was 5 hours. Helmets definitely smelly so that was kind of gross but we did our best to ignore it and had a great time.

This was super fun. We went through mud, rivers, and hills. Our tour guide Oscar was great. The ATVs were safe and there were no problems. I strongly recommend this.

Amazing Ride

It actually poured down rain when we went on our adventure, but Oscar took us out anyway! He did give us the choice, but my husband and I like a little adventure, so we were down for a ride in the rain. It was so much fun! Due to safety concerns we weren’t able to see all the things, but riding through the big puddles and streams (that were safe to cross) was amazing! Oscar checked on us several times to make sure everything was okay. Would highly recommend this tour!

Great experience

Our women’s group did this adventure and we had such a good time. Carlos, our tour guide was wonderful and so was the rest of the staff. The food was great! Don’t miss this adventure for sure.

Costa Rica ATV experience

The ATV experience was great as well as the lunch and snacks. Every one was very friendly specifically our tour guy Oscar.I didn't like how the helmets smelled, to me was horribly stinky also I didn't like that the ride wasn't in Manuel Antonio like I thought it would be. But overall great experience.

A highlight of our trip!

Our trip was amazing, we had so much fun. It rained but that made it even better going through puddles and hearing the rain on the hike to the waterfall was beautiful. The ATVs were easy to drive and well taken care of and the ride was beautiful through palm forests. The waterfall was beautiful, the pineapple snack was so refreshing and the food at the end was amazing. Gabriel and his team were so friendly!

A great experience start to finish

What an awesome day on the ATV and waterfall tour! Sister trip - ages 27 and 24. It was a whole experience that was clearly well thought out end to end. Oscar was our guide and he was kind, funny, and focused on safety. We really went on all terrain. Our favorite was going through the river streams. It was the perfect length of time. We did not feel rushed at the park with the waterfall and had plenty of time to swim in the little lagoons at the base of the falls. The pineapple snack was fresh cut by Oscar and so tasty. Believe it or not, one of our favorite meals in our trip to Costa Rica was at the end of this tour! Very tasty chicken rice and veggie dish, thanks to chef Abuela. The transportation to and from our accommodations was seamless. Oscar offered to take our photos with our phone at multiple points and they came out great.

Such a fun tour! Book it!

So much fun! Loved our ATV tour....the mix of a small hike to a waterfall, the lunch with the cute pig taking a shower, and the drive itself - was all wonderful! We had a HUGE group and everyone had SO much fun! Communication prior to the tour was excellent and easy too! Great value, too! We also bought the photo package and got SOOOO many great pics!

MUST-DO!

We had the best experience with this tour! They picked us up from our lodging. We drove out to the ATV site. From there, we got a quick lesson and learned the rules. We got on the ATV’s and had the best ride through different environments- forest, water, and small town! We hiked and swam in a waterfall! We got a nice snack of fresh pineapple and drove back to a cooked traditional Costa Rican lunch! Would 100% do again and it was a highlight of the trip!

Amazing

This was one of my favorite things I’ve ever done and our guide, Gabriel, was fantastic. Book it, you won’t regret it. Note: I would recommend you wear closed-toe water shoes and a swimsuit under quick-dry clothing. You will be able to enjoy the splashing during the ride and waterfall swim better.

Our favorite excursion while in Manual Antonio!

What an amazing day! I can't say enough about Oscar. He was an amazing tour guide. I was smiling, ear to ear, the entire time. It was my first time on an ATV, and he made me feel very comfortable driving one around, through rivers and through palm oil trees (mud too!). Waterfalls, jungle hiking....it just kept getting better and better. Delicious fruit and snacks provided. Cold water, too! And then finished up with an amazing meal, freshly cooked meal made by Sandra. We can't thank you all enough!!

Great tour for teens!

We chose the 1/2 day waterfall and ATV tour. We were picked up at our resort in an air conditioned mini bus (We were the second of three pick ups) and taken to their office in Quepos to do the waivers and pay if you haven’t already paid through your resort. We were then driven to their location. Offered lockers for our stuff (we were told to bring extra items to change, bathing suits if we wanted to swim etc). I elected to wear a small backpack and it was allowed. People used the restrooms and then we were given helmets and visibility belts, and learned how to use the ATVS. Everyone was issued motorcycle dot approved helmets. Lysol available if you wanted to spray yours first. Clean restrooms and multiple sinks for hand washing were right next to the waiting area. The route we took to the hike had less twists and turns than the return route. If you’re sharing a four wheeler, have the less certain person go first. They’ll get to do the test track where you do two loops on the property before leaving on the excursion. They’ll also get to do the easier route with less twists and turns. Both routes have small river crossings and multiple mud puddles. 16 and older were allowed to drive, no drivers license needed. We arrived at the rainforest park and signed waivers for the park before setting off on the hike. I would call if more of a walk. It was mostly paved and less than a mile, no more than 100 feet elevation change. They have hiking sticks at the waiver area if anyone is unsteady on their feet. There was an older grandmother in our group and she seemed to do well. You “hike” to a small waterfall area where you can cool off. All of the teens and one adult in our group of 12 decided to go in. No one brought towels, they just got dressed again. We walked back to the waiver area of the park and enjoyed fresh pineapple and cheese and crackers for a snack, we were also given cold water. Wear quick dry fabric. I was happy in my hiking tennis shoes, we didn’t need hats because we wore helmets most of the time and we just put on sunscreen and bug spray when we arrived to the ATV location. Both directions, You drive through a private palm oil farm for most of the route before merging onto multiple roads paved and unpaved. When we did encounter another car, it pulled over for us. We arrived back at the ATV location and were given a wonderful traditional cost rica lunch with chicken, rice, and beans + a pasta salad. I was assured everything but the pasta salad was gluten-free. We were offered a slideshow of the photos the photographer took, they were wonderful so we bought them. We boarded the bus at 11:30am. The staff was very kind and professional, I would do this again. People Seem to be tipping 10-20%

Best ATV Tour!

Excellent experience today - highly recommend!! Oscar and Carlos were so friendly and helpful. Trails were fun to ride - both scenic & adventurous. Did a short hike to waterfall for a dip in the water plus fresh pineapple snack. Then back on ATVs for a ride back to base camp where delicious lunch was ready for us. Very organized and courteous staff - we’ll be back again!

A safe, fun thrill!

We went with Allen, Gabriel, and Michael for the ATV adventure though the palm trees and a river. We had a bonus hike to a waterfall! They care so much about making sure it’s a wonderful time for us, and they most definitely succeed at that! Beautiful sites and a safe yet thrilling day!!

Beautiful ATV tour, Rainmaker waterfall AMAZING!

This was another experience that exceeded our expectations! . The guides here are second to none.! Just remember when you go to places like Costa Rica keep in mind the guides don’t earn what we do in the U.S.! They do rely on tips. Be generous, tip. Remember they’re keeping you safe and ensuring you have a great time.! I was shocked to see so many not show their appreciation! When we travel our moto…show gratitude l, be kind and generous! The rainmaker forest is a must see, wish I had more time there!!!

Fun time!

We had fun riding ATVs on dirt roads through the palm plantation and splashing through big puddles. Having never been on ATVs before, this was a great intro (nothing too wild). There was a chance to get oriented to the ATVs before we took off on our ride. At the end of the tour, we enjoyed a complimentary meal which was delicious. The tour provided a photographer, with the option to purchase pix after the tour; his prices were reasonable and he took good photos. We did find Rainmaker Reserve, where the waterfall was, a bit anti-climactic. After short hike, we saw one large waterfall but the pools they guided us to swim in were quite small and most of our tour group just waded in the chilly water. We saw only a tiny fraction of the Reserve.

Really fun activity

It was my top 1 activity in Manuel Antonio. Everything was perfect, especially our guide Oscar et the driver Mauricio. Thanks a lot!!

The service was amazing

We are very happy after using the ATV, it was our first time doing so and it was perfect. The staff is amazing, specially our guide, Oscar, who has a great attitude and provided us a great service.

Exellent tour! Not only for adults, but also for children. 4 hours full of adrenaline, and joy. Dangerous experience AVOID

Avoid this company. They don’t take care of their ATV’s. Our tires were completely bald. We had two accidents on the ATV’s because of this. They lied and said we were going too fast, which was not the case. Our lead driver never signaled or looked back to see if everyone was okay. They cared more about the ATV’s then they did the injured. They wanted to make sure the ATV’s were out of the ditch before they even checked on them. Kids were also involved. Save your money and your life.

Amazing ATV tour!!

Our driver Mauricio was amazing navigating crowded narrow streets to pick up others! Carlos our guide was very knowledgeable. Along the ride from town Carlos pointed out interesting sights and provided info about the area. Once we arrived Carlos gave us safety info and explained how to work the Honda ATVS. Carlos led us thru the mud and puddles on the way to the palm plantations. He stopped and pointed out squirrel monkeys in the palms. The Rainmaker preserve is beyond amazing. We hiked a short way to the waterfall and saw frogs, lizards, butterflies and two Mot Mot birds. Yummy fresh cut pineapple at the waterfall, and then headed back. It was gorgeous! Carlos pointed out water Buffalo pulling a cart in palm plantation, and we saw workers harvesting 70 lb palm fruit!! A delicious hot meal was ready when at the end of the tour. Highly recommend this tour company with Carlos and Mauricio !

Fun Experience

Awesome experience!!

Gabriel was an excellent tour guide and made sure everyone was safe especially since our group was mixed skill level with riding ATVs. When we finished the riding and hiking, there was a hot meal of rice, beans and chicken waiting for us. I definitely recommend everyone to Fourtrax great experience!!

Absolutely best service and loads of fun!

Gabriel (and our driver) were amazing! Easy hotel pick up, office check in, and then we were off to our adventure. Upon arrival we grabbed helmets, took a little test drive, and headed for the Palm Forest. Plenty of mud spots along the way to make it fun, and it was very interesting to see the water buffalo hooked up to the carts filled with Palm fruit (although not part of the tour). We arrived at the Rainmaker, and were treated to some delicious pineapple. Then, headed off to our waterfall hike. After we headed back and we’re treated to a Costa Rica dinner. We throughly enjoyed our ATV adventure.

Tons of fun! Highly recommended.

The atv tour was fantastic. A good combination of exploration, sightseeing and adventure along the rainforest and waterfalls. Gabriel was a great guide and showed us many interesting sites while giving Costa Rican history and palm oil industry info. The waterfall and hike at the end was scenic and a good change of pace. The food was also very, very good. All together, an experience our group highly recommends.

Out did our expectations

An amazing experience and well worth the money. Spent a number of hours on the ATV’s which was refreshing as sometimes tours like this can last a few minutes before you are off of the vehicles. Our tour guide Andrew was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience enjoyable. The staff really ensure you feel welcome and the centre of their attention. A snack and lunch was included which makes the trip a reasonable price considering the price of food in Costa Rica in general. 100% professional service 10/10

Great Adventure with a Great Guide

This tour was amazing. Gabriel, our guide, was the best! He was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The ATVs were fast and fun. The waterfall was perfectly refreshing and the meal was delicious. Would do this everyday if we could. Thank you, Gabriel!

Great experience!

We had a great time on this tour! My husband and I each drove an ATV and our two sons (ages 6 and 8) rode behind us. It was perfectly safe and we all had a blast! Our tour guide, Gabriel, was very friendly and helpful and we felt confident placing our trust in him.

Must do this activity!

We had the best time today on our atv adventure. We are a group of 6 with 3 kids and had 4 atv’s total. The tour bus actually picked us up from where we were staying and we met our awesome guide, Gabriel. We went to the offices to sign some waivers and then off to our adventure. When we first arrived at the park, Gabriel taught us how to drive our atv’s. He was very patient, especially with my mom who was a little scared to drive. Once we passed the test, we rode to the waterfall. The ride was so much fun!! There are a lot of areas where you ride in water which was exciting. Everything seemed very safe and not too difficult to drive through. When we got to the waterfall, we had some delicious pineapple and crackers. It was a small hike to the waterfall, absolutely gorgeous! We swam for a while and then headed back to our first stop. There seemed to be more water on the way back which was fun! Gabriel was nice enough to take pictures of all of us as well as some videos. I’m super grateful for that! Once we arrived back to where we started, we were able to clean off. We enjoyed a really delicious lunch of chicken and rice, beans, pasta salad and plantains. Probably one of the most delicious meals we’ve had on our trip! When we visit here again, we will definitely do another tour! I highly recommend this activity! Thank you, Gabriel for a great day!!

Atv fun

Gabriel was an excellent guide. Very helpful and nice. We had a great time! He was very patient with me since I was afraid too go fast on my atv. I ended up doubling up with my daughter.

Best day in CR!

Our favorite day in CR! Took our family of 5 (3 teenagers). Booked a week before. Did the morning tour. Andrey was our guide and he was fantastic! Ended up being just our family. They picked us up from our VRBO that morning in Quepos. We signed some paperwork and they shuttled us to our base camp. We got 2 doubles and 1 single. Four of us had never driven 4 wheelers before. But it was super easy. Quick practice course then you’re off. Probably a 45 minute ride thru palm forests, the jungle and small communities. We drove on dirt, gravel and pavement. At our fastest was probably 30 mph. Then a stop in Rainmaker park. We hiked to a beautiful waterfall. Got to jump in and cook down. Andrey brought snacks of pineapple, crackers and water. Then a shorter ATV ride back to base camp thru mud and large puddles. We’re fed a delicious typical CR meal. Then shuttled back to our house. From pick up to drop off was 4-5 hours. Well worth the money. Great tour!

Amazing tour

Oscar was an amazing tour guide. He was super funny but serious when needed. It was an amazing ride to the waterfall with a refreshing dip into the swimming hole. And don't forget about the wonderful dinner afterwards. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to experience an excellent ATV experience.

So fun for families

We had the best time with Gabriel and the crew. I had never driven an ATV before and was a little nervous but I felt completely at ease after the training. Gabriel also went slow at first to make sure we were all ok. I rode with our 7 year old son on the back and we all loved it. We went through the palm forest, rivers and along quiet roads to rainmaker park where we had a snack and hike to swim in a waterfall. I will warn you will definitely get dusty/ muddy so keep that in mind. I would recommend wearing your swimsuit under your clothes and a small fanny pack for essentials. Water and fresh pineapple were provided at the park. The lunch at the end of our epic adventure was also among one of the best meals we had in Costa Rica.
