Amazing experience

Absolutely amazing. Can’t recommend highly enough. All of the staff are amazing, professional, fun and informative. From Brownie our bus driver to Bob our pilot and all of the other staff they were just the best.

Worth the early start!

This was an amazing experience and a must do in the Cairns area. The view and feeling is somewhat surreal being at a great hight whilst being completely exposed to the atmosphere. And of course being up in the sky for sunrise is something you need to experience. Our pilot was very knowledgable about the land below us and was more than happy to answer any questions we had about the balloon itself. Once back on the ground, we were met by some more extremely friendly staff members, all of who had a playful banter and good natured about them, which meant it was easy to convince us that packing up the balloon itself was an opportunity not to be missed! So, despite the early morning wake up call, this was an experience not to be missed!

Hot Air peaceful bliss

Floating over the surrounds of Cairns was peaceful and a great way to begin our Queensland holiday. The Hot Air team were all professional and provided great commentary during our experience with humour and interesting facts along the journey. Highly recommend this activity while visiting the region!

Exceptional

Exceptional service from Palm Cove. Enjoyable drive made even funnier with driver Tony. Felt totally safe in the hands of these professionals especially Captain Frank. A glorious view of sunrise and the most gentle landing. It was even fun to pack up. If you've ever thought of doing this, stop thinking and just do it.

Breathtaking

The first time we have done a hot air balloon ride. The take off was so smooth, I was hesitant about heights but there was no need to be, we were made to feel so welcome, Hitoshi was such a fun and entertaining guide and the pilot Shaun was so knowledgeable about the area, all the guys were very down to earth. The views were breathtaking. We were so lucky, the weather was perfect. We self drive from Cairns as we wanted to make the most of the day in Mareeba and surrounding areas but I would highly recommend the pick up offer from the accomodation as we had a couple of wines at the end of the ride.
