Our guide, Felix really took the extra time to show us the intricate forms of life and was great at explaining things. He was incredibly informative and his English was great. He helped us get great photos and was very patient with our questions. Highly recommend this tour!

Absolutely stunning park and you must go with a guide in order to see any animals and learn about the magnificent cloud forest. Our guide, Deiner, was a wealth of knowledge. He made the experience one we will remember. Highly recommend this expert travel group.

Fantastico! One of the best tours on our trip to Costa Rica.

We had a great experience with Sinwatour Dreams during our excursion in June 2023. The company picked us up from our lodging, provided snacks and drinks. They also offered walking sticks which were greatly appreciated. Our guided tour of the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve with Eduardo was truly exceptional. Eduardo's extensive knowledge of the history, flora, and fauna of the area seems to have added a lot of value to the tour. Relaxing and instructive walk in the forest

An instructive and relaxing experience in this unique kind of forest. Detailed description of the history and evolution of this forest by Guillermo made the tour so entertaining. Guillermo is very observant when walking us in the forest and spots examples of tree branches to describe how different plants, insects and fungi live in harmony and interaction for the natural evolution of the species. He also showed us a few birds. In addition, he was also mindful of my cardio behavior by frequently checking on me; good customer service.

They go above and beyond

We had a great guided tour of the Monteverde Cloud Forest with Eduardo. He knew so much about the history, flora and fauna of the area. He showed us so many plants and animals that we would not have seen had we not been with a knowledgeable guide. This company goes above and beyond. It was the birthday of one of our party and Eduardo and the company gave her a present. You can’t go wrong with a company that is so thoughtful.

Great service

We toured the Monteverde Cloud Forest with Guillermo. He was very familiar with the area & friendly with the other guides, which was really key to getting the most out of our time there. Both our guide & driver were very friendly. The transportation was exceptionally clean & had beverages and snacks available.

The property was beautiful and the guide worked hard to try and find wildlife. He was knowledgable and courteous.

Warm, Caring Hosts

Sinwatour Dreams transported us to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. We had a wonderful tour with Rossy, our naturalist guide, who took us on a hike through the forest. She helped us take pictures of the birds we saw through her scope and was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the area. The shuttle van was right on time at the hotel to take us to the Reserve and was waiting for us when the tour ended.

Juan was an Excellent guide!

It was unbelievable how the guides saw so much more than we would ever have seen. Make sure you take a guided hike. You would not see most of the wildlife without a guide. We saw a female Quetzal, a green pit viper, a hummingbird nest, a coata mundi, zombie beetle and several other types of birds. The walk is very easy and slow since you must move slowly and quietly to see the wildlife. It is not very crowded although there is very limited parking within the lot. We parked on the street and our vehicle was fine. The road up to Monteverde is partially unpaved so you should have a 4 wheel drive vehicle.

From hotel pick-up, to the tour in...

<p>From hotel pick-up, to the tour in the forest and the return to hotel, this was a well organized and professional experience. Cindy from SinwaTour called our hotel the night before to confirm, everything was right on time and they were even able to be a little flexible with this to accommodate us and our guide Jesus was amazing. He has so much knowledge that I asked him if he is a biologist by training! He is not, but was able to answer every question and explain everything we saw...which included the Quetzal, 5 minutes into our hike! He modified the tour according to our interests, taking us higher into the Preserve than most go, until we were walking right in the clouds. Footing was a little difficult in many places once we left the most used pathways, but Jesus pointed out the awkward spots and slowed his pace to allow us to catch our breath. We were so glad to have taken a guide, we would have had a much lesser experience without one.</p>

Hice el tour a la reserva de Santa Elena combinado con el paseo en caballo para ver el atardecer. Me gustó muchísimo y el servicio (organizacion, transporte y guias) fue siempre muy bueno. Lo recomiendo hacer con guía porque te explican muchas cosas, aprendes un montón y te ayudan a encontrar animales en bosque. Lo repetiría de nuevo!!
