Absolutely loved it and would do it again

Me and my sister traveled together for her birthday and this Atv experience was the best we have ever had. This is not our first time using Atv’s. These guys knew what they were doing and they weren’t treating us like babies. We were safe and would do it again and it is totally worth the money and time . Thank you so much

Fun Experience

Very well organized tour. The country world resort is a nice place with friendly staff and guides. We were given a briefing on how to use the ATV, and then rode it along a riverbed, over rocks and other obstacles, and through a village to the beach and back. Made a couple stops along the way - these felt somewhat of a price grab due to the obviously inflated prices but you’re not obligated to buy anything. The guides who accompanied us were great! We felt safe and they were very friendly and helpful, taking photos and videos for free and even finding a coconut seller on the beach for me. Overall I’d definitely recommend this excursion for an inside look into the Dominican countryside, and a fun thrill with the ATV. Afterwards we were invited to ride the zip line into their saltwater pool and relax in the pool for a while. It was an enjoyable experience

Family time is the best time

Spending time with family is the best. We had family from 12 -57 years old and everyone had a great time. Everyone at facility was very nice and the food at the meeting spot smelled wonderful.

Great experience! Went with my family of 4. Really well managed and organized. Love that they picked us up from our hotel in Cabarete. One of the highlights our trip!

Great trip!!!!

This trip was amazing!! We got off the boat, walked a bit and they were there waiting. The guides were fantastic! The ATV trip had everything we wanted and more. All different Terrains, speeds and stops. Highly recommend! The pool at the end was an added bonus. Tip them well! They work hard for you!!

Great Tour!

Wonderful experience! The pick up was punctual, had a great time riding the ATV’s, the food was great and the pool at the end of the tour was perfect and much needed. The staff was really friendly and helpful and there was a photographer! Just amazing!

Dope trails

The atv trail was fire💪🏿🔥🔥 , if we didn’t have to stop for atv constantly cutting off it would have been 5 stars. Maybe it was user error or maybe not but that was annoying. The people from the excursion was very helpful and friendly and made the most of the stoppage and help keep the ride fun. I would say skip the stop to purchase items. It seems a little force to go but something from vendors.

Rode to Adventure

The guides were fun and professional and patient. I loved the added zoo tour and the food was delicious I love your host it was amazing

ATV ++ Incredible, fun, safe, best value

Asil and Renaldo, guides, were helpful and knowledgeable, made all parts of trip super fun. We saw incredible scenery, they took photos and videos of us with our equipment. No pressure stop at local artisian store. Equipment great condition and comfortable. Best value excursion we've ever been on. Thank you.

Greatest experience!

This experience went far beyond what was expected. The people were amazingly friendly. The guides were great and very informative. One of them actually got some wonderful photos of us. I most definitely plan to do it again when I come back to the island!

Fun trip!

It was our first time on an ATV and we didn't know what to expect. The guide showed us everything we needed and we felt safe. We went to various beautiful locations and stopped for a dip in the sea. We were taken to a coffee/cocoa shop which also sold gifts. Overall we enjoyed the experience, it was fun.

Amazing off road adventure

This ATV adventure was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to an adventurous and exciting time. The pick up from the resort was very smooth. Our Driver and guide were on time. Our guide Marilyn(sorry if I misspelled) did a great job of telling us about various landmarks in the city. The ATV ride itself was a nice mix of off road, on road action. Even the stop in town at the souvenir shop was appreciated.

Good times! Definitely a must do on your itinerary, Pack extra clothes so that way you can still continue with the rest of your day

Awesome experience

This experience was a 10/10. Daniel was our pickup driver and he was so nice to my group. I would do this again. The atv company was also amazing. They were all so nice and considerate.

Super exciting fast moving ATV ride. First time on an ATV for my girlfriend and she loved it.

The whole tour was great! We rode through River Banks with water and mud and through small towns to see the way people live in the villages, stopped at a store and had local tastes of coffee and the signature alcohol drink of the island. they feed you when you get back, but I did not eat scared of the local food in this poor country. Every other American was raving about the wonderful food.

Good time

So much fun! The leader of the tour was amazing and he did a great job with making sure everyone stayed together. He was very patient with those who weren’t following direction's. Lunch was really good! The ladies did a great job cooking. Thank you🙂

Do this tour!

The ATV Tour was great - the ATV's were well maintained and the guys who ran the program were great! Highly recommend, really fun. Definitely go in the pool afterwards.

Amazing A++! A Must do experience!!!

LOVED SWIMMING IN THE POOL AND JUMPING OFF THE HIGH DOCK! The ATV experience was so great and way cheaper than the tours offered through the cruise. The staff was excellent, helpful, knowledgeable and made sure we got back to our ship on time!

An absolute blast!!!

ATV Adventures was an absolute blast! Great communication from Daniel. Timely pickup at the port. A short, fun and informative ride to the Adventure Park. Our guides were patient and professional. Great price for a wonderful excursion!

Great ATV adventure!

Very nice and long ATV ride through a variety of passages. One nice straightaway to go really fast...would have loved a few more. Great for the price also.

Great time to be had!

This excursion was lots of fun! Ocity was our guide. He was great! He took many pictures and videos with our camera so we have lots of memories to look back on. We went in December, which was the rainy season so there was lots of mud puddles and not a lot of dust. The trails were awesome. Luckily my husband and I rode double, so I got to just go along for the ride and enjoy it! The ATV's were automatic and very comfortable. I would recommend to everyone! Ask for Ocity!!!

Atv Adventure

I visited Country world adventures on October 11th , 2023. We booked the tickets with a pick up at 8am @ Viva heavens hotel . First, the hotel was unaware that this excursion has their hotel as a pick up point which made things a bit difficult for us because we drove there in our car & they were a bit hesitant to let us leave the car parked there because we were not guest there and they were not contacted by the excursion. However , they were nice & accommodating and eventually understood/ The transportation was late and arrived at 8:40am , but Daniel was accommodating and compensated us for the inconvenience. Now once we arrived to the site , we were greeted by Daniel & given bottles of water . We then went to the ATVs where we met our guides who taught us how to operate the ATVs and gave us safety equipment . From there we began our adventure that was very very fun ! The entire journey is about 2 hours , we drove from the park to the beach and back. On the way to the beach we made a pit stop at a souvenirs store where we met very nice people and tried some mamajuana & hot chocolate both extremely delicious . We also were able to splash through a big puddle of water & one of mud , while it may not be everyone’s cup of tea it was very fun for me . I did this excursion with my family & my mom did get Injured during the ride . Accountability was taken on behalf of the tour guides because there was no tour guide in the middle of the group so my mom went into a hole and flipped off her atv which potentially could have been avoided had the tour guides split up evenly . Meaning one in the front leading , someone in the middle & one in the back . However at the site her injuries were minor and Daniel helped her as soon as we arrived back. From there we were served a delicious lunch ! Probably the best food we had during our time in puerto plata ! There is also a photographer who came along with us, who took beautiful pictures and a nice video of the ride ! He presented the photos to us when we finished eating & we purchased them, The package for the pictures & videos was $100usd. All in all I would say this was a very fun experience & despite the inconveniences I would do it again !

MUST DO!!

Second time visiting and had such a great time again! The staff is just amazing and the tour really shows you a lot when driving through the countryside. A must do when visiting Puerto Plata.

Dope Experience

Riding through the villages of DR and seeing the people on ATVs was super cool. 10/10 recommend this experience.

Great adventures

It was the best experience. We rode for roughly 2 to 2 1/2 hours. We saw amazing scenery like rivers, beaches and farmlands. Pro tip bring something to cover your mouth and/or face. The dust and dirt will blow in your face. Wear some sort of eye protection, glasses did not help me or my companions, so you might want to use goggles. Other than that you do not have to be experienced, but if you need someone to take over for you they have extra personnel on the ride.

Not satisfied

The staff were nice and attentive. The brochure makes the tour look fun and exciting.we thought we would tour the beach and other beautiful areas on the island but we only toured the local neighborhoods. Most of the tour was in the woods,and neighborhoods and we were suppose to zip line and we didn't do that as mentioned. So we wouldn't go back. It's was our first time.

Fantastic place to ATV. It was beautiful. Very organized tour. The guides were very helpful and attentive.

Not as advertised

The hospitality was amazing but the ATV adventure was only 90 minutes not 3-4 hours as advertised and we did not go to the beach which was something we were looking forward too. Maybe the tour is different daily and we just went on an off day? Not sure but everyone was very nice.

Harder than it looks but fun!

This was our first time on ATV’s and bc I prone to being clumsy I had to really pay attention when driving. Our guide explained the features and gave us a practice run. It was really fun, I felt like we were going to tip over a few times but thank God we didn’t! Our teens enjoyed it truly was fun! One other thing we didn’t get muddy like I thought.

Hidden gem! Highly Recommend

Can’t say enough great things about Daniel and his company. Our cruise boat cancelled all ports due to the hurricane and we were re-routed to the Dominican. With two hours of internet in FL left before our departure, I emailed Daniel some questions with an immediate response. He was able to take payment over the phone. A private van picked us up and our family had the nest ATV adventure to include the jungle and roads. His staff took many great pics of us along the way. We enjoyed seeing the culture and upon completion were treated to an unexpected Dominican lunch. The chicken was soooo good! Thank you for making our day so enjoyable, highly recommend!

This experience was not only the best excursion I've ever been on, it was the highlight of our entire trip, I kid you not!! The sights you will see while riding the ATVs will be unparalleled if you are looking to see more than just the port when visiting. ATVs were powerful and in excellent condition. The guides and owner could not have been more kind and welcoming. We absolutely loved our guides, they were very cool and made sure we were having a blast while riding. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. My wife and I will remember this for the rest of our lives!! Trust me - you will not regret booking this. Thank you so much for such an amazing day.

Fun and flexible

Overall, this is a good excursion. The ATV ride was fun, the freshly prepared meal was GREAT, the staff was friendly, the site was well maintained, and the transportation back to the hotel was flexible if you wanted to stay longer to enjoy the pool. The tropical garden tour was informative.

ATV

The off road at trail was very good. Meal served at lunch was excellent. All staff and owner very professional. Not a true botanical garden however the guide was very informative about the local horaculture.

Awesome experience, recommend 10/10

We had an amazing time, the staff was awesome and the views of the DR were spectacular. Riding through the country on an ATV was. Definitely an experience we will never forget and something we will definitely want to do again when we return in the future.

I love the fact my wife...

I love the fact my wife haven’t drove a ATV before and the tour glides were nice enough and passionate to show her how to ride it ! It was real ATV adventure!

Great tour but poor management

The ATV tour was fantastic. Rafael was friendly and knowledgeable about the plants on our trail. He made sure everyone was safe and even stopped at various places for us to stretch and take photos. We loved driving through the villages. It reminded me a lot about my childhood. The trail was rich in plants and vegetation and also cows, chicken and other animals. Unfortunately, I would not pay for this particular tour again despite the good experience. There was a lot of miscommunication from Daniel and the listing in general and instead of acknowledging the mistakes, he was defensive and tried to blame us. The rest of the staff were apologetic and helpful and for that I sincerely appreciate. The tour starts at around 9:30am which I thought should have been communicated better in the description because it only mentions 8am. There is no lunch included even though it says several times in the listing that it is included. Lastly, the farm with animals was really good but I didn't like that the animals are kept for entertainment purposes. I asked if the ostrich would be released back to it's habitat and was told no because tourists would want something to look at after their tour. That's really sad. It is an awesome tour if you can overlook the miscommunication, the blame attitude and zoo disguised as a rescue facility.

Great small group adventure

My wife and I booked the ATV tour with Country World Adventures when arriving to Amber Cove via a Carnival Cruise. Pick up outside of the cruise port was timely and directions provided and were accurate. It so happened the we were the only guests taking the ATV back country tour that morning and so were treated to super tour learning about the vegetation, culture, and people of the DR. We enjoyed stopping for a local beverage and conversation in a village with an overall tour length of about 3 hours. The tour was one of the highlights of our entire trip.

Do it! Had a blast!

I tried uploading pictures but it would not allow me to. We had the best time riding doubles and singles. It allowed you to see a lot of every day life in the Dominican and the landscape while having quite the adventure I highly recommend it. The company was prompt, professional, and kind. They picked us up at our cruise port and brought us back at the time we had hoped.

Awesome ATV Adventure

My family and I had an awesome experience. From the pickup to the drop off everything went smoothly. Our drivers Daniel and Carlos were prompt and friendly. Our ATV leader Raphael was friendly and attentive to everyone's safety and his personality made everyone laugh and calm. When we were done we were served an authentic Dominican home cooked meal that was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend this company and I can't wait to come back for more excursions provided by this company.

Very fun ATV tour

Very fun tour. It was interesting driving through the small farming villages and through the rivers. Lots of wildlife and other things to see. Would highly recommend.

ATV tour

Our family had a great experience on the ATV Tour. Found the nice shuttle van right outside the port gate and had a quick ride to the beautiful ranch. Rafael was excellent guide and shared a lot about the villages and area we explored as we went. Super fun rides in the river bed and countryside! What a thrill for all!

Totally Awesome!!!

This was the one of the best ATV experiences I've had!!! The rain made the adventure even better! The tour guides were great, knowledgeable, and very experienced in covering every terrain possible. I will definitely book another tour upon my return to the Dominican Republic!!!
