Excellent tour

Wonderful tour and our guide, Magdalena, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Prague and provided interesting details at each stop on the tour. Perfect for your first day in the city or if you are only visiting for a short time.

Disappointing

I was very disappointed by this tour, it was my first day in Prague and I wanted to learn more about Prague as a city and its history. Unfortunately our tour guide Barbara told us very little about Prague's rich history and only focused about the time of the Soviet Union and how much she disliked Russians. Most of our tour was directed about her hatred to Russian people which was very unprofessional and unfortunate. She also kept criticizing her own country. I felt that she did not like her city or her country and that reflected on my experience. I came her to learn about Prague not your personal feeling towards another nation. Tour guides should leave their personal political opinion to themselves as we did not ask for it! I would not recommend this tour and it would have been better if I explored the beautiful city by myself.

Brilliant tour!!!

Fantastic tour made even more special by our brilliant guide Ross. So much information delivered in a fun and friendly way. All the major attractions were brought to life by the events that have shaped Prague in the historical past to the present day. This tour offers a great way to find your way around a wonderful city. Thank you Ross for answering all our questions.

Excellent experience

Fantastic tour all around the city, from Prague Castle (not inside) to Jewish Quarter and Old Town. Given so many interesting stories and so much background information. Can’t recommend enough

Engaging, informative and fun tour

Wonderful walking tour with Marta who was very informative, engaging and fun. She mixed the history of Prague with interesting stories that were insightful and that gave us a real sense of the cultural mosaic. Saw the main sights at a comfortable pace despite the crowded streets on a busy Sunday. Highly recommend this tour to learn about the rich history of Prague and how to get around the city afterward on your own.

A Stroll through Prague

Good tour of the highlights of the Old City area. Well-planned circuit from the Charles Bridge to the castle area and on to the Old Town Square. Paria provided lots of interesting details and historical perspectives which enhanced the experience.

Prague brought to life

Alisbeth (not sure if this is the correct spelling) was a wonderful guide. Her knowledge and passion stood out along with her friendly and inclusive manner. We just took part in the walking tour component and learned so much to enhance our stay in Prague. Alisbeth had an outstanding level of knowledge which she imparted very clearly and was always happy to respond to any questions. We appreciated the anecdotes she shared that added to bringing the story of Prague to life. We recommend this tour to anyone who would like to get to know more about the history and people of the magical city of Prague.

Everyone needs to go to Prague and do a walking tour

A tour NOT to miss

Our tour guide, Yana, made this walking tour heads and shoulders above others I’ve experienced. Stories, history, antidotes about Prague, it’s occupation by foreign invaders, the monarchy, the people…. All flowed organically making me wish I had booked the full day tour. She could speak personally to life before and after Communism. All absolutely fascinating!

Lots of detail but rushed at the end

Really great in-depth tour of the city! I enjoyed the amount of detail provided by our tour guide. Unfortunately at the end of the tour our guide skipped the old town square site explanations and ended the tour immediately upon arriving here. I was a bit disappointed by this and walked around to see the sites in the square myself but missed hearing the stories and history associated with them. I felt the time of the tour could've been adjusted to spend more time on these sites and less time at items earlier on in the tour.

A little too much historical chat and needed more photo opportunity

The path taken around Prague was excellent but a little too much talk on the history. I want to know history for sure but not the level of detail provided. Saying that, Hana’s knowledge was outstanding but I felt I didn’t need to know all of it More photo opportunities more appropriate

A definite must to cover the key sites in Prague

Our guide Jana was incredibly knowledgeable and able to answer any question. She used the time we were with her to the ultimate and we covered a lot of ground and visited all the top sites. She brought to our attention small things that you would normally walk past (and would not be noted in the guidebooks) which definitely added colour to our tour. Throughly enjoyable!

Quick Overview of Prague

It was a quick overview of parts of the city. We went back over the next few days to the things that interested us the most. The guides recommendations on things to do and restaurants were spot on. This was the perfect 'first day in Prague' thing to do.

Prague tour

Really good tour well worth the money. Our tour leader was excellent, very friendly and informative. I would strongly recommend this tour to all visitors who visit Prague.

Great way to explore Prague

We had a great tour yesterday with our tour guide Buma! Learnt lots of interesting facts about Prague which we never would have found out if we were just exploring on our own.

Great brief tour of the city and a great way to orientate yourself.

Martin our tour guide was very knowledgable and open to questions. Steady pace and opportunities to take photos as required.

Prague Highlights

We saw many Prague highlights. The tour was long. 4.5 hours. Only recommendation to improve would be to add some stops where we could sit down and rest our feet or use the restroom. It was a long tour with no breaks. Very informative and hit all the highlights.

Great informative tour

Andrea was our lovely tour leader with great knowledge of Prague’s past . Showed us most of important buildings and structures . Great tour . I highly recommend it .

A good way to get your bearings

This was a great way to see some of the sights alone. I only wish I had gotten a little bit more time at one viewpoint so I could have purchased a keepsake. No time to stop, you just keep walking on. But I knew that’s what I would be getting. Great day, I enjoyed it.

Great guide and tour

Our Guide was very knowledgeable, easy-going, and kept track of everyone in the group. An Australian couple got off at the wrong stop from the tram we took to the castle, and he immediately called to find out where they were. he provided a historical context to all of the sights we saw. I was very pleased with the tour.

Best Half-Day Walking Tour Ever

Our guide (Ross) did a phenomenal job of educating our group on the history of Prague and the Czech Republic (sociological, cultural, political) while walking us through some of the most beautiful and historically relevant parts of the city. This was the best half-day walking tour I have ever experienced.

A walk through historic Prague

We enjoyed this brisk walking tour of Prague with Ross.He took us to a variety of interesting places which represent the history of Prague from medieval to modern times!The view of Prague Castle and it’s churches was stunning!

Great day in Prauge.

The tour was perfect for our quick stop in Prague. We had only one day and this tour hit all the main parts of the city and our guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting and fun. Would recommend to anyone.

Fabulous Walking Tour with Alzbeta

We just finished a wonderful walking tour with Alzbeta! She was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Prague, with fascinating history and stories about every place we visited. She was just lovely, funny, and spoke excellent English. It was like having an local insiders perspective that you would never get from a book or audio guide. The tour started on the Charles Bridge, through Lesser Town, up to the Castle and Church, then back down to Old Town. We very very highly recommend starting your trip with this tour and Alzbeta, as we not only learned and saw so much, we also now feel like we have a great sense of the city and how to best plan our upcoming week.

A great way to explore and get your bearings

We absolutely loved our walking tour with 'Buma'. The weather was horrific to begin with and we were totally unprepared...do not believe the forecast! However, as we crossed the bridge, the clouds parted and the howling wind died down...heaven. Buma looked after our group of 15 brilliantly, pointing out water stops, toilet options and making sure that everyone could keep up. She was soooo knowledgeable and kept everyone interested. We did this on our first full day and it really helped us get our bearings for the rest of our stay. I would highly recommend this.

Great tour

Buma was our tour and she was lots of fun and very knowledgable and considerate of the group. There was 14 of us and she made sure we all got what we wanted from the walking tour as well as toilet and drink stops on way to castle. Tour lasted a little longer (4.5 hours) and was well worth the price. Great way to get round the major landmarks and get a feel of the city. We did it on our first day in Prague which was a great idea. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent guide. Busy Sunday but we still covered a lot. The boat tour addition made for a nice start to our next day in Prague...was great that we didn't have to use it same day.

Nice introduction to Prague

Nice tour and a good introduction to Prague. I wanted a little bit more information on impressive buildings that we passed by.

Great experience and a wonderful way to learn/see a lot in a half day!

Our guide, Ross, was so knowledgeable and very entertaining. He explained the things you will find in the history books, as well as many additional stories/details you will not. Ross grew up in the Czech Republic so his insight and life experience really added to the tour. I definitely recommend this tour!

Great tour guide!

Excellent tour guide and great way to walk around and see some sights. Our guide was timely, friendly, and knowledgeable. She was also very attentive.

Best of Praque

We joined the "Best of Praque" tour arranged by the "Fun in Praque" agency. Martin, or guide was, very knowledgeable and very good company. The tour started and ended, with a boat trip, at Křížovnické náměstí (located on the side of Charles bridge) next to the statue of Charles IV. It was a really nice tour (we were extremely lu cky with the weather and the crowds in Juli 2020) We paid the tour in advance, by international bank transfer, and there was no problems at all. I'm happy to recommend "Fun in Praque" and Martin to everyone!

Educational

We only had 2 of us on this tour which made it better. Anna was our guide and she was very knowledgeable! We took the tram up to the castle and walked down. It was a cold day and she tried her best to make sure we were comfortable. Thanks Anna!

A great way to begin

This tour was extremely comprehensive for its short duration. Our English-speaking guide, Andrea, was informative, enthusiastic and added details that we could not have ever discovered on our own. In the Palace area, we even stood on a carved rock structure that resonated sound in an uncanny manner when we spoke. Of course, the Charles Bridge, St. Vitus Cathedral and many other sights were included. Clearly a great way to start a visit to Prague with later, more detailed exploration of other sights visited. A GREAT INTRODUCTION TO PRAGUE

We had a very knowledgeable and articulate guide who was very interesting to listen to. The tour takes you thru the heart of the "must see" city areas to visit. There's not enough time in the four hours for entrance into the the interior of the castle areas, but the tour set the stage for returning for other tours. Be prepared for lots of walking. This tour covers lots of ground. Fortunately it uses the tram system to go uphill to the castle.

Interesting walking half day tour of Prague

Our English speaking guide was very knowledgeable and aware of what people on the tour required eg. time for resting, places to stop for food/drinks, toilet breaks. The details of where to meet her were very clear. It was very hot the morning we went and the palace and cathedral were very crowded. I would recommend this tour as it included the highlights of Prague’s old city and our guide was able to explain things succinctly. We would have have missed so much without our guide, especially as we have no knowledge of the Czech language.
