Very Good insider view of Prague

We decided to go our own route instead of the normal tourist ones. Learned quite a bit about old Prague. Gordon was quite ready for us with facts etc. Was well worth it, thank you!

Lokey was great. He allowed us to change up the tour last minute so we wouldn't double up on anything with our big group tour the following day. He was knowledgeable, energetic, and thoughtful.

No experience

Can’t say, we didn’t get to go. We arrived to LHR this morning and shortly after leaving the passport e-gate I lost my passport. I contacted the provider to let them know that we couldn’t get there and to see if we could reschedule. Unfortunately the guide was not willing to help us out. Just added insult to injury. It was also my husband’s 65th birthday.

Great introduction to Prague

We had a great Kickstarter tour In Prague with Mesh. It was a fantastic start to our few days there. I loved the way that these tours are private so Mesh could adapt it to us. We learnt a lot about the city, its architecture and its history including the Nazi and communist periods. He gave us tips on what else to see; what to avoid/ be careful about; when would be the best time to go to visit some of the popular sights to avoid the crowds, and pointed out the remaining recommended sites not covered by this tour. He even gave some filming tips to our wannabe youtube blogger teenage son. And the best way to buy and eat a trdelnik. Thank you Mesh. Fully recommend and the food tips proved excellent.

Mesh is a great guide to Praha

Mesh was on time and on point throughout our time together. Carefully selected sights and timing. Knowledgeable, witty and good at peaking our interest to further explore Praha on our own. Highly recommend to spend some time with Mesh to get the local insight and tips. Well done!

Excellent tour with Mesh

We are quite new to Prague and wanted some insights that can’t be found in books. Mesh was our guide for 90 minutes and gave us excellent guiding, with lots of focus on the architecture. We learned about palaces that our now stores. Without knowing the history it would just be stores, but now we entered them with a whole new approach. Mesh also planned a great walk for us to do the other day we stayed in Prague. So we almost got two tours in one! Thank you Mesh!

Amazing local guide

There are no words to describe how good Hana was. She was without fault. The tour was excellent and so informative. She gave us so much information and took some gorgeous photos of us as a family. I would highly recommend the experience and Hana

Amazing morning round Prague with Hana!

What a great lady Hana is! She took four of us on a fantastic 5* tour round Prague, exceeding our expectations at every point. Her knowledge is extensive and her character is perfect for guiding tourists.... patient, knowledgeable, gentle, smiley and kind.......what more could anyone ask for!? It was fascinating to see the main big sights and many smaller ones off the beaten track. Hana certainly knows and loves her beautiful city. We loved going for hot chocolate with her ..... and it was delicious! Hana was also so very generous with her time! Her tour was much longer than it was meant to have been , we so appreciate her kindness. We would all recommend Hana! She's the best!! Thanks Emma

Fabulous

Mesh is a great guide. His English is very good and he is very informative as you are walking round. The tour was supposed to take 90 mins but it was closer to 2 hrs but it flew by. A great way to get to know Prague and we would recommend everyone to do this tour with Mesh.

Weekend break in Prague

As a group of six we initially booked a 1.5hr walking tour of Prague with Hana which was very informative and provided a rich insight into the history and culture of the 'Old Town'. So impressed with her knowledge and engaging personality we booked her for a further 3 hours the following day to see the 'New Town' and the castle. Throughout the tour Hana's passion for sharing her experiences of the City shone through. She was able to answer our questions and provide an impressive level of detail. We would recommend Hana highly.

3 DAY TRIP TO PRAGUE AND KICK START WALKING TOUR WITH MESH

Despite waiting in the wrong place (our fault) Mesh soon found us. My wife and I found the 1 1/2 start up walking tour around Prague very interesting and Mesh gave us some good tips, in fact the very next day when we got slightly lost we remember Mesh's tip about looking for the twin towers of the Astrological clock and we soon found our way back to the hotel. The 4 o'clock concert he recommended was excellent. Mesh was full of information and was quite happy to walk at our pace. Anyone going to Prague should book this tour, you will find out a lot more from the locals and is better than walking in a large group. Thank you Mesh I will recommend you to any of friends who go to Prague.

Great intro tour to Prague

We had a great Kickstart tour of Prague with Hana! She is well-spoken and very informative. She has a lovely smile and manner about her and we enjoyed her tour very much. As we were a small group (only 4 + Hana) we were able to move around the big tour groups with ease.

Prague walking tour of Old Town

Ivana took my family and I on a fantastic walking tour in Prague. We saw a different side to Prague with very many interesting personal stories about the Old Town. Ivana took us to places you would not be able to access on a larger tour - including a fantastic non-stopping elevator. Would highly recommend Ivana.

Great way to learn about Prague!

We wanted a more intimate education than just a bus tour, and this was perfect. Our guide Mesh was knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. He gave us such a great tour about Prague history, architecture and culture. Highly recommended!

A great way to explore Prague

We had a great experience with Ivana. She knows everything about Prag - growing up in the city and spending a lot of time exploring it's history. If you are interested in more than just the regular stories, Ivana is a great choice

Excellent tour but lousy directions

We had a wonderful tour with Ivana ( I give her 5 stars) but the tour company needs to provide better directions and pick easier meeting points for tourists to be able to find their way. The Adria Palace is not easy to find and first time visitors to Prague should be sent somewhere easier like the National Museum or Wenceslas Square. Ivana was able to find us and gave us a great tour. Thanks Ivana for both your patience and your effort.

Great introduction to Prague by Mesh

Mesh was fantastic. He prepared us well for our 4 day stay in Prague, giving us some great historical insights as well as taking us to see quite a few of the points of interest within in the old town. He also set us up extremely well for our subsequent days walking around Prague and the Prague Castle area on our own.

Best Trip in Town

Dimitrios was a super friendly Host for my at leas best guided tour I ever had. He told us everything about Prag, always connected to the places around! I really can recommend Dimitrios and will try Withlocals in other cities as well, even though it will be hard for the next guide to be as good as the last ;) Thank you Dimitrios!

Hana was great

Highly recommended!

Mesh was great! I was hesitant booking with a group tour because I have a bad knee and can't walk very fast and this was the perfect solution. Mesh was understanding and kind and he walked at my pace and picked out some of the most important things for me to see in the time period we had. He knew so much about Prague and it's history, even pointing different architecture styles and all the awesome street art which I loved! I highly recommend booking with Mesh!

Great Quick Tour of Old Town in Prague

Having never been to Prague we were looking for a quick familiarization of the area around Old Town where we were staying. This tour was exactly what we were looking for.Hana notified us that she had to be out of town for the original time, but offered to do the tour a couple of hours later. That was fine with us, as she kept us posted.She met us right on time at the meeting spot.Gave us a great walking tour covering a suprisingly large area of that part of Prague along with the associated stories and history.We had a fantastic time. We had a wonderful time on this walking tour of Old Town and the Jewish Quarter. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly.

Prague

Our group of 6 recently spent a fantastic morning with Dimitrios. It was a really great morning & well worth doing for our first day in Prague. Dimitrios was extremely knowledgeable, & very forthcoming with answers to the many questions we kept asking him. I highly recommend this tour as an introduction to Prague, & more, and for anybody interested in it's historical significance.

Dimitris! Amazing tour guide!

If you want history of Prague.....Dimitris is your man! Great tour and sooo helpful! I learned so much and we enjoyed the tour. He went over our time and We were so thankful! It was a great tour and I would highly recommend “With Locals” for anyone needing a quick catch up on Prague. Tomorrow we will go to the many places that we were introduced to on the tour.

Wonderful to see Prague through a local's eyes

We had a wonderful few hours wandering the streets of Prague whilst our guide bought the city alive through its architecture. I am very interested in the build form and my husband isn't but the stories were so engaging he didn't even notice that it was all about the buildings!

A fantastic introduction to a beautiful city

My wife and I wanted a brief intro to Prague, but didn't fancy walking around in a large group or taking a bus tour. We chose the tour with Michaela on the strength of the very positive reviews. She didn't disappoint! She was very friendly and knowledgeable. We did a tour of the Old Town and the Jewish Quarter, where she pointed out many interesting things, whilst giving us some of the history. I would definitely recommend Michaela to others.

Amazing Kickstart to Prague !

We had an amazing time with Mesh as he covered the Old Town, New Town and Jewish Quarters. He explained the significance and history of the buildings and its architecture around Prague, its culture, the people and what the city has undergone over the years. We had a nice time and would definitely recommend him next time.

My lucky day

It was a last minute decision to take the tour. I was traveling with friends who decided to rest upon arrival in Prague. I had scheduled a tour since we only had four days. I wanted to get in as much as possible! I was so fortunate to have Hana as my guide. She so clearly loves Prague and communicates her passion in the tour. I was the only one on the tour so she tailored it for me. We pretty much covered all the highlights on one side of the river. She took me into some churches including one right near my hotel. She showed me a concert schedule at one of the churches. I was able to come back later and very much enjoyed the concert. I don’t think I would have known about it without her direction. We enjoyed a light lunch in a little cafe in a building built during the communist era. The tour lasted almost two hours. I am so glad I took the tour. It was money well spent

Refused to honor the voucher.

We were refused the 90 minute tour. I went to 2 kiosks at the location printed on the voucher. Both refused the voucher claiming it was not theirs. I varified the address with the rep at the kiosks and they still refused the vouchers. I'm now have lost the money i paid for the walk.

Perfect tourguide

Perfect tourguide gave answers to all questions and knew a lot about the history. Very good info about the history of Prague about all the different districts. Friendly guide who gave lots of information also about other questions. Perfect tour!

A very enjoyable afternoon with Michaela

Perfect intro to Prague

My husband and I took a tour with Mesh within an hour of arrival to Prague. Mesh proved to be the perfect guide and we are so happy we decided to take this tour. This was our first experience taking a personal tour and Mesh went out of his way to give history as well as the viewpoint of a local. He gave us recommendations of places to eat and things we should do. He also gave us great advice on how to avoid spending too much unnecessarily. He pointed out the direction of our hotel frequently which gave us a great feel for where we were and how to easily get around the city. We toured on our own all day yesterday and his comments kept coming back to mind and added so much value to our stay here. I would 100% recommend a tour with locals, but particularly with Mesh.

PRAGUE HIGHLIGHT TOUR AT IT'S BEST

I was here in Prague for the first time with my 9-year-old daughter - mesh made the tour interesting for both of us, was patient, gave great tips, knew a lot of information but didn't overdo it for us, and knew so many great unknown spots and things to see we would have never found on our own. Highly recommend him, and plan on booking him again when we return - thank you Mesh!

Awesome Tour, Awesome host

My husband and I booked Adriana for the 90 minute kickstart to Prague tour, last week (14th Feb). Adriana was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It is obvious that she is passionate about her home city and loves to share her wealth of knowledge and experience with her guests. We learnt a great deal about the beautiful city of Prague thanks to Adriana and she also gave us lots of recommendations to follow up on during the remainder of our stay. Short break - Mesh saved us loads of time

Decided to get our bearings by booking this 90 min walk on our first morning in Prague. Meeting place easy to find and Mesh was very punctual. Mesh proceeded to give us a tour of the city at an acceptable pace and pointing out things we wouldn’t have spotted or known what to look for. In addition he knew Birmingham so we could share info on that as well making it more personal. He even recommended the Louvre cafe for coffee and cake afterwards which was a lovely venue. Perfect Introductory Tour

First time in Prague and figured a quick tour would be great to get our bearings. So glad we chose Tomas and WithLocals. We have had a great tour with Tomas. He showed us Prague in 1,5 hour. After the tour he gave us tips of bars, restaurants, breweries etc. Very good English language. If you go to Prague, book this tour with Tomas.
