Amazing all in one experience

Great value for money. We got all the information that we need during the tour. We were quite lucky because we were the only one in the tour so it felt like private tour.

Wonderful tour and great guide

Our Guide Radek was very good. He spoke good english and was easy to understand. Gave lots of information. Since my Wife's leg was sprained he agreed to walk a bit slower and asked her to sit wherever possible while on the tour. The tour involved a lot of walking so be prepared with good shoes. You get a break only on the River cruise and during lunch. Rest of time you will be walking or standing. But 1-2 Hrs is in the city center so you dont have to walk too much there. The trip upto the castle is by tram so its not a problem. But at the castle there is walking to be done and then back down the route is again walking from the castle. If you have trouble climbing down stairs and wish to not walk back down the stairs, you can request to go back the way you came and come down again by tram. We didnt get much time at the Castle so it would be better to speed up the history part in the old town so that you get more time in Castle. The lunch was good and the beer too. On the River cruise too you get an option for beer. But we opted for soft drinks. The Ice cream was also good on the River cruise. Our guide had asked us what we would like for lunch in the start of the trip. He gave us options from a fixed menu.

A very scenic and memorable day trip!

Our guide Dana was really enthusiastic and her positivity made our entire day trip memorable and fun! We learned a lot about the country's history and had delicious lunch at a local restaurant. We love Prague!

Prague Old Town Tour

Allen was an excellent tour guide. His knowledge of Prague history and architecture was amazing. He also had a sense of humor and shared some stories (real/fictional/possible) about events in Prague’s history. We were the only two for the morning portion and lunch, then 2 other couples joined us for the boat tour and Prague Castle. The tour was to be about 6 hours, but there was so much to see and learn, it took 7.5 hours. This was our choice. Highly recommend. Much better then the tours with 20-30 people!!!

The tour with Allen was amazing

It “over”-met my expectations. Allen was extremely friendly and enthusiastic. He gave us a really detailed tour and answered our questions thoroughly.

Excellent tour with an well informed guide

I would totally recommend this tour since the guide Allen did a fantastic job and was really an important part of the tour. He took time to answer all of our questions and even after the tour officially ended he brought us to a restaurant he recommended. So all in all, it was a great und unforgettable experience and if I could I would leave more than 5 stars !

A not so good experience for us

This tour wasn’t for us. Our guide was a bit disorganized and seemed to want us to know the smallest name and date detail at every stop. If you’re into finite historical detail perhaps this tour is for you. The Prague castle was impressive and the boat tour was a nice ride but the captain kept speaking to a group in German while we were trying to listen to the English audio. This was kinda rude and very distracting.

Beautiful and extensive citytrip with Vaclav

We were just 2 days in Prague, with our son (13) and daughter (10) so we booked the most extensive tour trough the city. From that moment on we could relax, because we knew all the highlights were 'covered'. Due to Corona, it was not so busy in the city. Prague has become very touristic, the last couple of years. But thanks to our great and friendly guide Vaclav, we have seen the most popular buildings and churches and of course the castle. The good thing was that he led us through all kind of quiet streets with 100 of things to tell. What we found very nice, was that he was also interested in our stories, we had conversations instead of only hearing what he had to say about the city. He could answer many of our questions and told also little things hidden in history or in the buildings, that you wouldn't notice if you go by yourself. That made the trip very personal. The tour is build up, very well. First a long walk, then lunch, then the boattrip....and then with the tram to the castle. The atmosphere of the city is stunning, the buildings and churches are so amazing. The boat tour, we sure would recommend, because you see things from a different point of view. Translation is available in many languages. And the water is a relaxed place to be. The lunch was not that great, but good enough. Vaclav knew all about Prague, the history and the fights between different denominations. During the trip he became more relaxed with our children and they learn to speak a few words Dutch, Czech and English with each other. We would like to thank our guide for this great day. A tip to the organisation is to in some way involve the children more. Maybe with riddles, puzzles/puzzlebook, scavenger hunt or other things they can do, while we were listening to all the beautiful stories. "How many angles do you see there"....Write down all the animals you see during the trip....Write down Czech words that you have seen, who are the important statues, seek the differences etc. Some kind of little puzzle book. Or let them photograph certain important things what you seen on your paper with their phone. And then in the end of the tour reward them with a magnet or so. But 5 stars out of 5, it was excellent for us.

<p>Our tour guide was very knowledgeable but wasn't really suited to this job. She raced us around at a very fast pace, would not wait for anyone wanting to take photos and was very negative in her attitude. She gave her personal opinions too many times even talking about customers who were on our tour behind their backs........extremely unprofessional! She smoked all day in our presence and allowed the driver of the boat we took to swear at the people on our tour who requested the window open to take photos, with no apology. In fact they were laughing about it together whilst talking in their own language.She was not interested in showing us the tourist places we wanted to see but spent too long talking about the architecture of Prague. This tour has had many great reviews,that's why we chose it. It is just unfortunate for us that we ended up with a tour guide who didn't seem to care too much for her job .</p>

<p>The tour was very thorough, however a five hour tour turned into eight hours. When we got to the castle, we were told we were on our own getting back to the hotel. We were given the wrong tram and ended up having to spend 20. on a taxi.</p>

<p>This tour should've been better. The pacing of the tour caused us to just want it be over by the end of the six hours. It started out with two hours literally circling the Old Town Sq four times with an in depth review of the architecture. After we went to the Jewish Quarter and then the short, not very interesting river cruise. The boat didn't take us any further down stream on the Vltava then we'd been walking. The last place we visited was the Castle/Cathedral. By the time we got there the Cathedral was closed for the day and we were exhausted. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. But she told us that we wouldn't be listening to her by the end of the tour. And she was right so she should've made sure the pace of the tour would prevent that. If we'd just spent an hour at the start reviewing architecture, that would've been more than enough and made a big improvement on our enjoyment of the tour overall.</p>

The best part about this tour aside...

<p>The best part about this tour aside from the all day experience and boat ride was that we were the only couple signed up for the lunch/afternoon portion so we basically had a private guide for 5 hours. We hit all the main points in town which was great, but what I loved the most was visiting the parliament on the top of the hill. We elected to end the tour there so that we could enjoy the view from the coffee shop. Our guide was so knowledgeable, a history student at the local university, and he was a real trooper for walking around with us for 8 hours in the heat.</p>

<p>This trip appeared to offer more than it did. 6-7 hours of walking around a very small area listening to an inexperienced American guide is too much. People wish to enter churches and castles if they are going on a tour for that period of time. Our time the following day was much better utilised by finding our own way and paying for entry if necessary.<br/> I couldn't recommend the lunch either. The boat ride was the best thing and should be done.</p>

<p>To visit Prague by foot with a Czech guide was wonderful. He was knowledgeable and patient. Take time to stay in Prague an extra day after the tour to come back and revisit sites you enjoyed or to visit the inside of those sites you will not have seen during the tour.</p>

Tolle und Interessante Tour

Ganz tolle Führung durch Prag. Anastasia war sehr freundlich, ihr Wissen über Prag und seine Geschichte ist herausragend, wir haben sehr viel Interessantes aus dieser Tour mitgenommen! Tour durch die Prager Altstadt, mit Bootstour und Burgbesuch

Die 3-stündige Tour begann mit einer Bootstour auf der Moldau, entlang der Karlsbrücke. Vor allem der darauf vollgende Spaziergang durch die Altstadt über die Karlsbrücke bis hinauf zum Burggelände ist sehr zu empfehlen. Unser Tourguide Romika war sehr nett und hat unsere Neugierde nicht nur mit interessanten Fakten, sondern auch mit netten und witzigen Anekdoten, mehr als befriedigt. Als echte Pragerin beherrschte Sie die deutsche Sprache sehr gut. Es hat uns ausgeprochen gut gefallen und wir können nur zu der Tour raten.
