Prague Night Tour and River Vltava Dinner Cruise

Lovely boat trip

If you have more than 2 nights in Prague or back visiting a second time, this is worth doing for a semi romantic experience. The boat was clean and had loads of seating throughout which gets full quick. Whilst the price is fairly reasonable, I would recommend including the buffet as you are able to go up more than once and there is a variety of food for everyone. The serve was average; I would recommend getting a couple of drinks straight away otherwise you may not get much chance throughout the trip. There was live music on the roof which I thought was a lovely touch and the views were stunning during the course of the evening. If sitting with strangers is not your thing however then this may not be for you. We met two lovely couples from around the world, so have no regrets, this didn’t make more stars though as the service was not the best and felt as if it was poorly organised once the boat was moving.

A lovely dinner on The River Vltava River

We wanted to have a night view of Prague. This option was chosen as it provides a cruise, a tour of the town, and a dinner. The dinner was buffet style. It was good as there were quite a variety. The views at night were spectacular except it was a bit cold on the outside deck. We expected the guide to tell us about the various buildings we saw but she did not. Otherwise it was quite good for a first time experience.

Too long

Dinner cruise was too long and just continually went back and forth seeing the same things for 3 hours.

Nice view sailing in Vltava

The night scenary alongside Vltava is gorgeous. Nice cuisine on the boat. Good view and everything makes u feel relax. Soft drink is not included in the ticket

Avoid this dinning tour

We booked the tour as 2 separate couples.According to the hostess,since the trip was booked separately,we were not allowed to sit together at the same table . How inconsiderate and nonflexible they are. When we first arrived,they put us in an old smelly boat which was totally different than they advertised. After our complaint,we were finally put on the boat with transparent top. The food was terrible and cold. Do not go on this so call dinning curise

Watch out for scaming!!!

When I met with the agent in the city.He took us for a ride with city tram to the river rather than at the river directly. We were dropped off with a old and small ship rather the transpent ship that was advertised. I felt liked being cheated. It was a old narrow low ceiling,smelly ship. Af ter my complain,they finally moved us to the boat that was advertised with transparent clear top. By then We lost the window seat and got poor seating. What a SCAM. The food was less than average. The musicians were trying hard which I gave an overall 2 stars, otherwise they desered only 1 Star. Do not go to this trip. They scam you

The boat was beautiful and the food was excellent. A lovely way to experience Prague at night. A city of lights! Beautiful!

Wonderful dinner cruise!!

My husband I took the Prague Night Tour and River Vltava Dinner Cruise and had a wonderful time! The boat was absolutely gorgeous and was very clean. The dining room was wonderfully cool and refreshing on such a hot day. The walls around the dining room are all glass so you have an uninterrupted view of Prague from your dining table. The food was fantastic!! It was set up as a buffet and there were so many options. The cruise lasted 3 hours and we went miles up the river so we saw so much of the city from the boat. Going through the lock was so interesting. We absolutely recommend this dinner cruise!

Other guests impacted the trip

Food was okay. Staff was very nice but the other guests were impatient and not considerate with the buffet. The sights of Prague were nice from the water. Would have been better buying dinner elsewhere and taking a simple boat tour.

its a nice dinner ^^

it is a 3 hour dinner on cruise. clean, friendly staff. you pay for the drink. free for food and they taste delicious. due some renovation or something, we just pass through a small circles many times. its in a closed space so its warm as i came in late october. after the dinner you can come out to take pictures. i don't really hear if there are any explanation about the places we pass as its full of people chattering, but i don't mind as i already have a city tour before. ^^ 3 hours is a quiet long time actually for me and my family, its enough for only 2 hours i guess if you just having dinner and going in circles many times >.<. but i think if you are going with friend and really enjoy talking with them that its okay.

Enchanting evening

This was a wonderful tour in every way. The food was very good. The atmosphere was lovely. The views of Prague from the boat were amazing. We took many photos! Totally wonderful evening.

The food was delicious and plentiful. The music was wonderful. The boat was clean and spacious, and the staff friendly and attentive. Loved it!

Special celebration

On a recent visit to Prague our party of 10 celebrated a special Birthday on board the entire evening was fantastic from arrival welcome drinks to the meal and entertainment.Exceptional value for money the view by night were magical and the snow in winter is beautiful on the river I would definitely recommend for birthdays or engagement very romantic.

Prague evening dinner cruise.

Cruise started after sunset, so it was hard to see landmarks. Nothing was pointed out. When the buffet was finally ready, all tables were allowed to go, resulting in chaos and disorder. The food was mediocre. Music was beautiful, but the cruise was too long.

Great time seeing Prague by night. Food was very good. Nice ship. Good music. Very enjoyable & romantic!!

Magical

Went on this cruise in October. The dinner was a fabulous 3 course meal cooked to perfection with excellent service. The live piano music was to everyones taste and played for 3 whole hours. This cruise is a must do as gliding down the river you could see Prague from a different perspective.

Prague Boats Dinner Cruise

Sat 9 June Cruise. Extremely disappointed with quality of dinner. Drink prices totally inflated for the quality of the boat, food and poor service. For example I asked a polite question - "Would you have any butter for the bread please"? Ans - a direct NO! No gluten free options or any empathy for the fact that my husband had a little choice to pick from the buffet. Cheap branded sauce bottles (e.g. ketchup etc) served as accompaniments. Nearly 60 mins of 3.5 hour cruise spent in a lock so was basically looking at a stone wall. Don't waste your money folks - there the much better restaurants in the City....

The broken promise regarding the itinerary , the rest very good and a night to remember!

It was a night to remember, in spite of the fact that it was promised a long itinerary from north to the south of the river. But it took a around only in one specific of north. The cruise was very new and 5 stars. The buffet was very good as well as the service people. However the receptionist woman in black was not friendly. Despite these two negative points, it was recommendable.

Nice cruise not much tour

In spite of a rainy night the cruise was nice. The food was ok. The tour guide was terrible. He came to our table three or four times to point out things. It was a total waste to have him there. Prague is beautiful at night, hard to ruin that, it ended up. It would have been the same evening without a guide.

Relaxing Prague by night.

Certainly worth the cost, wonderful to see the sights of Prague at night from this relaxing river cruise. Food and entertainment was excellent, but crew appeared somewhat disinterested throughout. Keep your fingers crossed that the weather is nice, as the return journey on the top deck for photo's can be very chilly, and being uncovered a rainy night would certainly spoil the romantic atmosphere.

Miss

We went on a really hot day so the weather was perfect for the boat trip. The tour started on the bus, travelling to the docks. The tour guide was very knowledgeable & friendly. The shot in arrival & live band created a warm welcome & great atmosphere.

The food is good, don't get me wrong, but this is more about appreciating the beauty of Prague by night with her lights that reflect on the Vltava river. If you are not one to love a cold breeze on your face, take this on a dry summer's night. The sights are best appreciated on the top deck.</p>

I couldn't believe how many pictures I was took of the same places, with each one slightly different than the next. My only advice is to bring a jacket!</p>

It is stuffy and crowded in the cabin where the buffet is located. If I were to do it again, I would just book the cruise and skip the bus tour. It was very short, we couldn't hear the tour guide and the tour guide provided no commentary on the boat. It was definitely not worth any additional cost for that portion.</p>

<p>First, this tour starts on the other side of old town from the river so you spend time riding in a bus to the river. Our small group was added to an existing tour may be normal which was already crowded. The entire outside seating area was taken when we arrived, so our group was put into a private inside dining room at the front. This room was not properly cooled and sitting at the front in direct sunlight. Prague was experiencing a bit of a heat wave and so the room was unbearably hot. It was much cooler outside however, the outside was full of other diners so there was no place to enjoy that. There was a small space on the back, but if you spent too much time there, the fumes from the engine would probably make you sick. The food was pretty good and the only reason this didn't get one star. Also the musical entertainment was very good, but the volume was too loud for a dinner cruise.</p>

The pick up and trip to the river was short and limited in information given.<br/> The trip itself was lovely with beautiful views from the river of the charles bridge and the castle and viewpoint in the distance. The three hours passed very quickly. The only negative was the buffet which was not only limited in its quality but luke warm. The cake as dessert was dry and not very appetising. on the positive side the entertainment provided by the Dixielanders was great and provided very good music for all. The service was efficient from the waiters though they seemed keen on people continuing to purchase drinks and reluctant to accept that we did not want to purchase more and pay our bill. overall the trip was good.</p>

<p>This was definitely a dinner cruise, but not a night tour... We met in town and we're driven to the boat without any tour commentary. We had a few tables reserved for our group and the informational tour was literally our guide walking by twice and pointing out buildings. When we asked for more information we might get a tidbit such as year built but not much more. The food was okay for a buffet. The music was good and sitting on the deck after dinner was excellent. This was with doing but probably not for 55. Maybe for 40.</p>

<p>A very nice way to spend a summer evening in Prague. The food was forgettable, drinks were extra. The so called city tour was a five minute ride to the pier from meeting point. You can better off spend time in the city and get to the pier on your own.</p>

<p>The tour guide was great and the views were fantastic, the buffet dinner was terrible. It literally looked and tasted like it was prepared in the afternoon, sat out on the boat all day and then served at 8pm. The fresh fruits were already brown. The fresh bread was stale. The organization was a bit whack as well, there was plenty of room on the boat but initially we were forced to sit into random groupings inside the boat but thankfully it was only temporary.</p>
