Nice tour with unnecessary cruise

Irene was a wonderful tour guide. My only critique is that the river cruise was pointless for an hour given the tiny distance traveled. You could enjoy more walking along the river bank.

Don’t recommend it!

Pick up location was very hard to find , a German couple mixed with English group ? Tour guide had speak both languages and it was frustrating for all of us. Drive around the an old van on cobblestone we could hear anything. Waste of time and money

Your was good but too expensive

Unfortunately it was raining so our tour had to be cut short. The cruise was not an hour, there were other tour groups going on the same boat so it took long to load and unload which made rive cruise shorter.

Excellent tour -- loved the river cruise included

This was amazing! It included a walking tour, and river cruise at the end. We were able to see all the main sites during this time. Perfect for those on time crunch!

Not a Tour for People with Limited Mobility

We had checked on what the physical requirements were for this tour. The description provided made it sound like some walking, some bus rides, and a cruise. There was less bus time than described. The tour guide tried to be accommodating, but she had another tour and had to let us go on our own to find our own way during the last hour of the tour.

Enjoyable Tour

Had a good experience with our tour guide, who started off explaining the history behind the different periods of construction of the Prague Castle. After walking through the castle, we went for our river cruise, which was pleasant. Following the cruise, we walked through the Jewish Quarter, again getting good background and detail into the history of the area before finishing the tour off in the Old Town Square.

Perfect way to see the highlights of Prague

We had the best afternoon tour with Stefan! He knew so much about Prague and was patient with our questions and all the photos we wanted to take. The tour is a great balance of seeing things by car to return to later, walking around and of course the boat portion. We did this on our first day in Prague to give us a sense of the city and what we would like to explore more of. Stefan had great suggestions on what activities to explore and places to eat. We loved it!

A great overview of Prague

This was an excellent tour from start to finish. The tour provided a great overview on the history of Prague, and the key landmarks. The river cruise provides a different perspective on the Charles bridge and other landmarks, and is quite relaxing. Our Guide Titania was magnificent! Very knowledgeable and fun!

Short Highlight Tour of Prague

Tatiana was a good guide … this is a quick “drive by “ tour of the sites plus a river cruise. We visited the castle grounds but didn’t go inside. LOTS of historical information. Would have loved a little more information about life in Prague and the people. Also… our guide was doing the tour in English and Italian … even tho the Italians spoke English so was a little confusing at times.

Superficial tour of major Prague sites

The tour encapsulates an outdoor parade of sites in Prague with marginally more information than you can get from Wiki or a tour book. In retrospect, I could have saved time and money with little up front effort. The boat tour was cut short two bridges short of the Charles Bridge due to a concert occurring on a river stage. There was no effort made to compensate us for what would have been the highlight photo op of the entire tour. Just a shrug of the shoulder without apology. Take a pass on this one.

The tour was very inclusive and informative. It was appreciated that the guide allowed for some free time.

Great way to see Prague highlights

We enjoyed the components of this tour, walking the historic areas, taking a one hour cruise on the river, and the bus ride up to the palace on top of the hill made getting up there efficient. I’d caution that there’s lots of walking at a fast pace. Some downhill on cobblestones so a little tricky on older knees. Our guide was informative and patient. The tour we took was in English and German. The initial part is on a bus found on a Main Street and the end is in the historic square on foot. We were staying in the historic area so it was no trouble to find the bus or make our way back.

Excellent tour, excellent guide, very clear only too prepared to answer questions and never seemed in a hurry even at the end of the tour... would thoroughly recommend this tour of Prague which is very good value for money

A nice overview of Prague

Nice overview of Prague, including the history. A good combination of bus, walking and boat. There is a chance to eat on the boat, but food is very simple, though inexpensive. The bus was warm so dress appropriately. The guide was good. A little free time at the castle. The pace is good but there are some hills and steps.

Prague in Nutshell

Tatiana is an extremely knowledgeable tour guide and very efficient. She navigated us in a timely fashion through the city and then the Prague Palace. We had a lovely cruise. It was raining and that made it difficult and dreary, but Tatiana kept us on our toes!

Very high level overview. No entrance fees included. No narration of sites while on boat. Not the tour for y you if you are looking for detail.

Our favorite tour!

My sisters and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour-guide, Stephan! He has an engaging personality and was very knowledgeable about the topic. It was nice to have both a walking tour and a short boat tour. A great tour for anyone looking to see some of the magic of Prague! Highly recommend.

Lovely time and very informative!

The guide was thorough and answered questions well. The river cruise was short but sweet and had a great views of the city. The castle and cathedral were breathtaking upon the hill overlooking the city.

Great value

Our guide, Volta, was great. He was very knowledgeable and could answer all of our questions. Having a bus to do a quick spin around the city and get up to the castle was nice. We also really liked being able to walk and see things up close. We saw most of the places we had on our list and learned a good bit of history. Also enjoyed the boat. It was rainy and cold. Nice to be inside and warm.

Prague is magnificent!

Every cobblestone sidewalk is unique. The town is easy to navigate because of its size, and the amount of things to see is a big bang for your buck!!

Great intro to a beautiful city….

Stephan made the trip, he was an excellent guide with lots of good history/knowledge/background on Prague. The tour was well balanced with some walking and tales of the city and a very relaxing boat ride - good beer and coffee with excellent apple strudel available for purchase. Reasonably priced outing.

A great tour of a gorgeous city

Vey well organized. The right amount of walking for my out-of-shape body. And Tatiana, our guide, was absolutely a gem.

Our English speaking guide was amazing. Her ability to capture everyone’s attention with her detailed narratives is commendable.

Orientation

We had a great tour which orientated us to enjoy the city and decide where we wanted to visit in more depth Our guide Dan gave us the right amount of information to get a feel for the history of the country. The trip on the river was relaxing and we had time for refreshments

Generic and boring, avoid if possible.

We were seduced by the many positive reviews to book this tour. If you are interested in anything beyond Wikipedia generic info then do yourself a favor and avoid it. The guide was friendly but didn’t know much about architecture, history, or geography. Kafka, for instance was “a Jew who wrote many depressing books.” Etc. An uninspired monotone of a school teacher. The boat was quite nice if you are able to ignore the strong smell of urine from the bathrooms throughout the journey.

Well worth the money

The 4 hour tour including coach, walking and boat work very well. Good local knowledge and able to answer all questions. Adequate time allowed for each point of call and finished up close to starting point.

Disappointing 4 hours

A smattering of many things, not enough to satisfy or get a good cohesive picture. Too short my bus or walk everywhere of interest, then too boring on the boat. Tour guide Ladislav didn't help, just putting out dates and short briefings.

City Tour

Great tour for a first time trip to Prague! Sofea was a great tour guide! We toured the city by van, boat and by foot!

Glorious Sunshine and a great walking tour

Our guide Štěpán (I hope I’ve spelled correctly) was warm, friendly amd knowlegable. He provided good information throughout our four hours. The trip moves at a fast pace but there is time to take photos. The castle and cathedral are gorgeous and so is the view. The walk from the castle to our meeting place was especially cool. The walk through the old and new Jewish quarters was extremely interesting as was Old Town and the astronomical clock. The boat cruise was nice but likely a bit more exciting at night. It was well worth it! Thanks Štěpán!

Go in February.

I had a truly great experience primarily because we were a small group and the tour guide had ample time to explain things to us. I also appreciate that she was really transparent for things that she didn’t have as much information about she said, and for things that were perhaps over the dramatized in the legend, she also highlighted those. It made for highly authentic storytelling and I loved learning about the Prague history. This trip was money well spent. I loved visiting all the different places that we did, the mix of walking, bus ride and the boat ride made for a great experience as well. We had some nice little bites on the boat and it was great to do that ride all the way up to Charles Bridge and back. I highly recommend that you go in February or late January when you don’t have as many people once in the same experience, I think that made a significant difference for us, although we did see some other groups where there were more people but for this particular experience, it was just three of us, and that made a whole lot of difference. I want to say thank you specially to the tour guide, she was very graceful, friendly and she really put in the work to make sure that we had a good time and I did have a good time.

An easy couple of hours!

A pleasant and easy day seeing and visiting the main tourist sites of Prague! Prague is a beautiful and old city and you can understand why there are so many tourists here!

really enjoyed this experience because we have never been to prague before this tour was what we needed ,it gave us information on this drive and walk tour of the cultures and buildings you need to see and to top it off you get a delightful cruise under the charles bridge

What a trip! Our tour guide Sophie made this trip the most wonderful experience and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. She absolutely made our trip! We were very fortunate to be part of a small group which meant we got so much content supplied and personalised interaction which was brilliant. Nice way to see sights and gain information.

There is a lot of history in Prague, from medieval to modern. By bus, by boat and by foot we were given a broad overview of the historical places and happenings in and around the old city of Prague. Informative, easy to see some of the delights of this very beautiful city.

Great tour

Enjoyable tour. Rene was a good guide with excellent knowledge about his town. His enthusiasm and love for the town was apparent.

Prague is a city that needs to be visited more than once as it has so much to offer.

The van drive and then the walking tour were really great, particularly our guide, Jana, who had a wealth of knowledge that kept our small group interested. The trip to the Prague Castle was really awesome and worth the whole trip. The short boat cruise was very uninteresting due to sitting inside the boat and doing a very short roundtrip excursion that last about 30 minutes on the canal. However, all in all, Prague is a beautiful city with many historical sites and walkability is key to taking in the sights, especially in the old town area.

Must Do in Prague

This excursion is a must do when you visit Prague! This tour was a great way to explore Prague and learn about the history of the beautiful city. Our guide, Tatiana, was a great guide and a wealth of knowledge. Loved seeing the sights and taking a short cruise down the Vltava River.

Good, not great

The itinerary was wonderful and brought us to most of the important sights in Prague. We enjoyed the short river cruise although there was no commentary on what we were seeing. The biggest deficiency however was our tour guide whose command of English pronunciation and ability to project her voice were marginal at best. Several explanations (the story of St John Nepomuk for example) were totally lost to us as we had no idea who/what she was discussing.

Interesting Things To See But Poor Presentation

There were only 8 people on our tour, which was nice because if the van had been full, it would have been very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, a last-minute couple joined the group, that was supposed to be English speaking, but they were German. So everything the guide said, he said it first in German then in English, which had him talking non-stop for the duration. We were dropped off after walking for 2 hours not in the same place we started, and it took us an hour to find our way back. The sights were amazing but I would not recommend this tour due to the aforementioned.
