Highly recommended informative beer tour!

We had such a great Prague beer experience with Jakub! We didn’t realize it would just be our family and him but it was very comfortable and we learned a lot. We did the basic tour but were treated like it was the premium! We would recommend this tour to anyone coming to Prague who loves beer and is interested in learning more about the Prague craft beer world and beer making itself!

Incredibly credible guide and great tour alltogether!

Amazing tour with lots of detailed information on how beers are brewed and the different methods used. We were offered to try the beer directly from the tank, which I’ve found to be a very cool and unique experience. Alex provides very interesting and easy to listen to guide. Thank you Alex!!

I like small breweries and prefer quality over quantity. This beer tour fulfilled my expectations fantastically, I got to know new restaurants and taste a lot of great beers. Among other things, the guide Jakub is a great extrovert and really knowledgeable, it is obvious that this job is also his hobby. If you are new to Prague, or if you are here as a tourist and want to discover new places, don't hesitate, it's really worth it. Cheers!!

Engaging, tasty and fun!

We went for this tour with a group of 8 people, Martin was an exceptional host. He welcomed us very warmly, showed us around, took us to wonderful craft beer places, told us about the history of beer in Czech Republic (very interesting!) and provided us with A LOT of beers and delicious local cheese. He was friendly, very engaged and we definitely had a blast. We 100% recommend this tour, don't miss it!

Loads of fun, Martin is a superstar!

What an enjoyable experience! I went for my bachelor party and my friends knew exactly what I was after. Martin is an absolute delight, so friendly, fun, and above all, knowledgeable! I can't think of anything I like more than talking about beer, history, culture, and language, and he provided it all. The spots were great too, different enough so that you didn't feel like you were just in one type of venue. The mlickos were something else too!

This tour was far above our expectations! We were brought to the best local microbreweries in Prague. Great taste. Very knowledgeable and respectful guide. The beer accompanied with traditional Czech food was a gem.

Beer guide and friend for a day

Absolutely amazing tour of pubs and beers in Prague. Martin is extremely knowledgeable about beer and an amazing addition to our group. We became friends instantly, the man speaks 6 languages and is just a general good guy anyone could be happy with to have in their group. Had amazing conversations about all kinds of topics ranging from history to language to beers This is such a great thing to do while you are in Prague

Great evening with knowledgeable local

Jakub was a fantastic knowledgeable guide to outstanding beer spots both hidden away amid all the Old Town tourist joints and just outside the centre. Not only did I get to try some delicious beers, but Jakub was great at making adjustments based on our early chat over first beer! He was great company too, and helped provide some real insights into local life in Prague.

We were in Prague with a group of friends for the weekend and I think the craft beer tour with Martin was the best activity we did. Martin knows a lot about beer and also has very positive and easygoing vibes, it felt like meeting a local friend in Prague over a glass of beer. The beers we tried were top notch and also the pub snacks - so certainly highly recommended activity while being in Prague!

An original way to taste beer and learn more about it

A great way to learn about beer, taste it and discover nice places in the same time. Martin has unquenchable knowledge about anything beer related and is genuinely passionate about his subject. We finally had the answers to the questions we had always had about beer, and more :) Each beer we tasted was unique in its own way, sometimes unexpected but always interesting. A great, relaxed evening!

Authentic beer tour

We did this as a surprise for my dads 50th birthday. For a guy that loves beer, he really enjoyed the tour!!! We got to see the most authentic pub there is in Prague, interesting history and really good beer. We learned a lot from our guide Jacob, he took us to places we never would have gone to/find without him. We went to non tourist places with just good czech beer. We really recommend this beer tour!

A great beer experience, off the Prague tourist route

Me and my wife took a tour with Jakub. He is very friendly and a genuine conversation dude. He is passionate and knows a lot about beer, and answered patiently all our questions. The tour was a great combination of special, non-touristic beer places, with super tasty fresh beers. Jakub is great, and we would definitely come back!

Best beer tour ever!

Wow! This was far above your average "pub crawl" tour! My colleague and I are big beer snobs and Jakub was able to share not only the story of the breweries and beers, but also very specific detail about the way each particular beer is made. He's also a very fun and engaging host who showed us a fantastic time in Prague. The food was delicious, and each bar or brewery was something we never would have found on our own, far away from tourists. This is a beer tour for people who really want a unique experience!

Monastery Tour was Top Tier

We went on the monastery tour and it was the best things we’ve done in two weeks in Europe. It was a fantastic time and the beer was probably the best I’ve had in my life (and we drink a lot of beer). Our guide, Jacob was probably the most informative person I’ve ever had lead a tour and was super personable as well. The vibe of the tour was exactly like hanging out with a cool Czech local who not only knows a ton about beer and beer culture, but also works in the industry. We don’t work in beer, but do appreciate it greatly and what was most impressive was that he was able to tailor the experience to our level of understanding even though it would seem many folks who go on these tours want to know more in depth knowledge i.e. the Ph of water in the Czechia and other things key to brewing. I highly recommend Prague Craft Beer tours if you want a more local experience and get immersed in the Czech beer scene, while having a chance to escape from the traditional Prague beer/pub crawls.

Highly recommended Craft Beer Tour! 🍺

As part of our company on-site, this time in Prague, we proposed to part of our team a Craft Beer Tour as a social event. That is when I reached out to Jakub and it was fantastic. Not only he customised the tour for us, but was super flexible with all of our requirements. Communication was flawless and he was always available for questions and queries. The day of the tour he was very punctual in our meeting point and took us to two nice places. He was always aware of our schedule (as requested) and constantly asking on how to make everything work. The places he took us were super nice and his explanations were always on point, not just about beer colour and taste but history, economy even legislation. He was keen to solve all the questions we had about the beer and the process, that we learned a lot. The team had such a nice time, that we really appreciate we chose this activity. I, and I am sure the whole team, can just but highly recommend the tour and assure that people will have a great time!

Puts the Prague beer scene on the map for all the right reasons

Want to get away from the tourist trap pubs and raucous parties of Prague Old Town and enjoy where the local drinkers enjoy their beer? Then this tour is for you. Jakub and Martin are excellent guides, both knowledgeable about the local beer scene and also of the process of brewing (they even brew beer themselves). The standard tour takes in a traditional, "locals" pub where a number of different styles of beer produced by an artisan brewery can be sampled, along with accompanyingly bar snacks. It then moves on to a contrasting microbrewery in a vibrant, regenerated area just outside the city centre. Tours are limited in size so they remain personal and the guides ensure their passion for excellent local beer makes the experience very enjoyable. This tour puts Prague beer on the map for all the right reasons.

My colleague Laila and I reached out to Jakub and Martin for a craft beer tour and they were amazing! Not only did they give us a lot of insider information about beer in Prague, its history and its role in the country's tourism industry, but made sure we enjoyed the beer too! Good beer, and interesting tour!

This tour was a lot of fun, and really interesting! We've been on our fair share of brewery tours in the US, but there was lots to learn about Czech beer specifically. Jacob really knows his stuff! Of course the beer itself was great!

Good beer, good knowledge, good fun

Great tasting of several Czech craft lagers and ales. Our guide Jacob was very passionate about craft beer and he imparted his knowledge in a fun and interesting way . Two venues were visited one was an old traditional local pub , that provide Lagers from an small independent craft brewery. We had 4 tastings here and selection of traditional Czech bar food . The second venue was a modern mini brewery bar . I choice the IPA here . The tour lasted over 2 hours , the group was only 4 of us. We all learned much about Czech beer and a fun time. I would highly recommend this tour

So much fun!

We had an awesome time on our Prague Craft Beer Tour. Our guide, Martin, made it a ton of fun…he was knowledgeable and funny, and showed us places in Prague that we normally would not have thought to go to. It felt more like hanging out with an old friend rather that being on a tour. I would definitely recommend this to anyone whether you like beer or not!

Educational and fun...

We had the pleasure of doing a tour with Jakub and Martin in conjunction with a brewing workshop we were running in Prague. They could not have been easier to work with. Both are enthusiastic, well-spoken and multilingual – we tested their skills in English, French, Czech and a bit of German! While generously sharing their passion for craft beer and Czech beer culture, they skilfully educated us all the while making sure that everyone has a good time. We attended 3 very different craft beer pubs ranging from a stylish rooftop (Tank-er), a classic retro hole-in-the-wall (Hotomice) to a large modern brew pub taproom (Dva Kohouti). You won’t be disappointed.

Best Beer Tour In Prague By A Long Way!

Myself and my girlfriend did this tour in January and it was the best part of our trip. I’d had friends do beer tours here and they just went to tourist trap places, our guide (Jakub) took us to places only locals go to, introduced us to incredible local micro breweries and was incredibly knowledgable. Very easy as well, just sit down and he bought all the drinks over to us and talked us through each one. Can’t recommend it highly enough! (he also treated us to local bar snacks, which you have to go and try, England is really missing out!).

Excellent tour with Jakub, he gave us a detailed explanation of beer brewing as well as historical data about beer brewing in the region, he took us to 3 different breweries from the most typical, one more normal and one with a more modern trend Each of the three has its charm and we really liked the beers, the first two accompanied by a very good snack, but the best thing about the tour was meeting Jakub, very professional and with an excellent attitude, this experience is highly recommended.
