It was a wonderful evening, food good, service great and attentive. Beautiful glass boat. Only negative was the singer was just not good and took away from the experience.

Great boat, excellent food and fantastic music.

We absolutely loved this cruise. Food was good and live music was excellent. Elton John being sang while we were in the lock and the other boats next to us dancing joining in was great fun and added to the fun Atmosphere on our boat. Was a little worried due to some of the reviews however if you are looking for a relaxing romantic evening with live music cruising a beautiful city then go for it. We will definitely do this again when back in Prague.

Highly recommend

This was an excellent tour. We had the deluxe package and this gave us access to special (reserved) seating and on board drinks and a bottle of wine. The food was good, it was buffet style. No issues with the line with the exception of the few people who thought they were special. Important point the bathrooms were very clean. We enjoyed this very much and recommend.

Fantastic river cruise - thoroughly recommended

My wife and I decided to do this river cruise for my 60th Birthday, we went into it slightly skeptical and with our expectations possibly a little low, I guess to avoid disappointment. How wrong we were, from first boarding the boat it was well organized, tastefully decorated and we got a lovely window table on our own. The staff were superb, the views were amazing, in fact, absolutely nothing significant to complain about, even the drinks were reasonably priced and the food was pretty good for a buffet style dinner. Our Ukranian waiter Daniel was an absolute star and was the icing on the cake. We absolutely recommend this river cruise, I would recommend from my own perspective getting the higher priced packages if you want to avoid being seated with other people, the standard packages are better for large groups. Great evening, great job Prague Boats!

Good experience

Music was amazing.. Was a bit rainy and no where to go outside Food was pretty good also .. Went with my family!!!!!!!!!!!

A nice way to spend an evening in Prague

This ended up being a much nicer experience than anticipated. Very nice modern boats, particularly compared with others offering a similar experience. Food was much better than expected. Being a buffet the food was fresh and tasty. The views from your table or on the rooftop are great. Live music was really nice. I had read a few negative reviews and nine of them matched our experience. Fun for families and couples alike. Tip…no need to pay up for the vip seats, they are covered and you can’t see as much. Save your and sit in the middle of the boat where the canopy is opened and when closed is transparent.

Scenic dinner cruise

Great boat. Nice welcome glass of Prosecco. Food good. Staff nice but a little overzealous in pushing you to purchase bottles of wine when only wanted a glass. Would recommend.

Excellent food, fantastic music and beautiful views!

What a fantastic night! We visited on a sunny evening in May and the top of the boat was down. We sat in the exclusive seats right at the edge of the boat, I would definitely recommend paying the extra to get these seats as our view wasn't blocked by anything or anyone. The views were fantastic, they take you a good way down the river so we were able to see areas of Prague we hadn't explored by foot. Live music was played - initially this was classical piano, but as we got later into the night a singer joined and they played some well known singalongs, both in English and Czech. It was an excellent atmosphere with everyone on the boat joining in! The food was great, lots of choice and very tasty - just be aware the line for the buffet gets very long. Later in the evening as the sun set the glass top was brought across the boat - I will say that the glass was not very clear, so if you're visiting on a rainy or colder day when the glass top is across for the full trip then your views will not be as spectacular. I would also recommend that visitors do not sit in the 'de luxe' section as this is not open top, and it is away from everyone else so you would not get to experience the brilliant atmosphere that we enjoyed.

Great time with friends. Further highlighted many of the sights we saw on the walking tour, especially beautiful in the evening hours. Good food, good music - thoroughly enjoyable!

Romantic evening meal in Prague

Enjoying a romantic meal with my wife, sat by the window, whilst eating some of the nicest food I have tried. Excellent service from the staff, and cruising down the river watching the sunset is amazing.

Fun night in Prague

Nice view of Prague skyline early evening and at night with the beautiful lights around both sides of the city. I am not a fan of buffet dinners but this was good with local dishes

Just perfect

Absolutely wonderful, better than expected. Easy to find, beautiful boat, attentive staff, wonderful food and that's before even thinking of the views. Would recomend to EVERYONE!

Not worth the $$$ !!!

The smell of exhaust fumes was nearly unbearable during this trip on the river! I had a headache for hours after this 3 hour trip! Food on the buffet was average. Desserts were dry chocolate cake, or gelatinous "cheesecake." Our male server was rude and abrupt. At the end when he brought my bill for 2 cokes ($12) he said "you can add my tip on the bill, or give me cash." I'd never waste my money on this boat again! Once was enough! So touristy, and expensive, just go on a daytime boat trip, without a $120 dinner! If you don't spend the extra money to sit by the window, you won't be able to see anything, as the overhead florescent lights were too bright to see out the windows from the center of the boat.

Relaxing and great service

The entertainment from Prague Duo was excellent. The food was ok. The ham on the bone was particularly lovely. The River cruise vessel was clean and tidy. We had a table by the window- exclusive really very nice.

The trip was great. Good spread out of buffet. Boat was not to crowded. Perfect evening with my best friend.

The view if the city was amazing!!!! Dinner was great. Waiters were very friendly. Overall a great evening with nice background music.

An absolute must and great value for money.

A really lovely modern boat with a full buffet and excellent service. I honestly can’t recommend this trip enough. The live band were absolutely excellent too.

Wonderful Dinner Cruise

Exceptional experience! Highly recommend the deluxe package. Very nice and tasty buffet meal, choice of wines, choice of desserts, super friendly staff. Evening cruise on a very modern large ship, enjoying the lights of the city at night. We'll worth it!!

Extremely disappointing, use other vendors

If I could give it 0 stars I would. If you really want to go, either book another company or do not buy the “deluxe ticket”. I recently moved to Prague and have a friend in town visiting, so we decided to do something fun on the water. We paid for the most expensive ticket and were seated on the worst part of the boat with fluorescent lights so you could barely even see outside at night - which is the whole purpose of the experience. It was also VERY hot and overly crowded as the buffet line overflowed into our room. We asked to move to the other section with the glass rooftop considering we purchased the most expensive ticket and they were unable to move us, which is understandable, however, everyone who paid for deluxe should have been in the room with the glass ceiling and live music. The deluxe room featured no music and all we could hear were the conversations of those around us. The only positive thing we got from the deluxe ticket was an included bottle of wine. You could tell a lot of the staff were doing their best and were lovely, however, when we mentioned our concerns - considering we paid over 100€ pp - we were met with some very condescending staff and no solution or offering to improve the situation. To make matters worse, there was no toilet paper in a number of the stalls in the bathroom. At the end of it all, everyone in the deluxe section was lined up ready to get off the boat. Super frustrating, disappointing, and unenjoyable experience for something we were very excited for. I have other visitors coming to stay with me in the coming months and I was hoping to bring them back on this experience, but unfortunately I will not be purchasing anything with them again.

What a waste

Terrible experience. Would not recommend. We watched people take food and then put it back. It was boring. No sights. Not a lot of room to stand outside. Complete waste of money.

£220 is a lot for one bottle of wine and unlimited water…

Overall the experience is overpriced. I paid roughly £220 for two tickets on the deluxe area of the boat. This allows you entry to the seating area at the front of the boat which is fully enclosed. You are given a welcome glass of fizzy wine on arrival and there is ONE bottle of red or white wine included with your meal. Quite amusingly the staff kept reiterating that with our ticket we had unlimited water… something I’d expect in any restaurant. All other drinks are paid for. The food itself is not bad, my main gripe is that for a £200 dinner cruise I did not expect to be scrabbling at a buffet line. There is no separate buffet for the deluxe tier ticket. Sitting in the deluxe area I think you need the first to be told that the buffet is ready, however once you walk through the main seating area and all other tiers of passengers see people heading for the buffet it quickly decends into chaos. As I said before the hot food was okay, I’d had better goulash in Prague but for a mass produced buffet it is what you expect. The cold food selection left a lot to be desired for in my opinion with the overall mantra being that it looks good on the buffet presentation table but for the lowest possible price to the cruise operator. The entertainment was a live trio, guitarist who was excellent and a violinist who was equally talented, and a singer who I feel was being forced to sing in English? Often she was missing out words or not singing correct ones, or just scat style improvising over well known songs. Her English singing was a lot better than any singing I can do in Czech but I do feel that if they had her singing songs in her own language she would be more comfortable and the overall experience would be improved. It’s a shame as clearly this held her back. The most important aspect of this cruise should’ve been the views. This is where I felt most let down as due to the lighting and angle of the glass in the deluxe area there is a really bad glare from the floor/tables on the windows which heavily obscures the view. Could be easily reminded with a black table cloth or just dimming the lights slightly once the dinner portion of the cruise was over. It quickly became apparent to me that the best view on the boat was from the smoking area which was uncovered and at the very stern of the ship. My wife and I actually had quite a nice time sitting out here watching things go by, but this area is extremely small and could only comfortably fit maybe 8-10 people. As we’d paid for a deluxe experience at a deluxe price I couldn’t help but feel let down. If I had paid £100 for the experience I wouldn’t have had such high expectations, but at such a premium price point they really do need to do better. The verdict: Go on the much cheaper 1-2 hour daytime cruise. Use the money you saved in doing so to go to one of the lovely restaurants in town where £200 could get you everything on the menu twice over.

Great experience with Prague Boats dinning cruise. The combination of great food, amazing music and romantic setting made it an unforgettable night. We selected the deluxe package that includes a welcome drink, bottle of wine and priority access to the buffet. We recommend this tour.

Just beautiful

Absolutely stunning, thoroughly enjoyed it. The 3 hours went far too quickly. Welcome cocktail, wine and Food were delicious. Please read what you get fully, I read it as “unlimited drink” for the deluxe experience however it was unlimited water 🤣😂🤣

Different experience

Attentive service, nice VIP area.Good food and drinks offer, with cocktail and bottle of wine included. Music made the experience special too.

Don’t bother with deluxe

My husband and I booked a dinner cruise a part of our honeymoon. Sights were great! Staff are super friendly! Pro tip: You can pay for the ticket base fare and ask to be moved to the deluxe area!! Saves you lots of money!

Amazing, relaxing, fun

The boat cruise was amazing I really enjoyed the live music and very helpful, professional and friendly staff!

Canceled with NO Notice.

Showed up early with about another 100+ guests on Christmas day. Stairs down to the boat was barricaded, no tours until further notice. Given the condition of the barricaded the cancelation had been in place for days. No one had been given notice.

Excellent Service and Food

Delightful experience. The food was above average, and the service was exceptional. There was live music playing nice songs. A piano player and a singer. People started to dance. The tables were elegant and the boat was clean and inviting. The Meeting location on the instructions was off, it sent us to a closed building. Instead, go straight to the boat Slips, there is a ticket both there where to check in. Ours was Slip #1. I would book again. It was very fun and classy.

Make sure you read the experience description carefully

Nice trip with good food. Unfortunately, our trip got off to a disappointing start as there was confusion with regards to what is included in the Deluxe package which we decided to take to enhance our experience. The wording with regards to drink is confusing and I highly recommend that you read it very carefully before proceeding. You get unlimited water (not alcohol) and one bottle of white or red per couple - we had to ask for our 2nd bottle as there were 4 of us in our party. I think Prague Boats need re-word their description. The Deluxe package means that you will be at the front of the boat with more space which does help with some of the views and adds to the experience. It would have been nice to have some commentary on what we could see but the priority was music. Overall, a good trip but ensure you read all the small print very carefully so you know what you will receive as part of your package.

Purge crises

The trip was good, boat was excellent electric so zero carbon. The food was lukewarm we were first to get our food as we did the deluxe package overall we enjoyed it

Would not recommend

The view was amazing , shame that we couldn't see more with all the lights been on full instead of dimmed and intermit. Food was not great and should of been served to make it more romantic as it states. Couple next to us were drunk before they boarded and loud and arguing with staff. Music could not be heard as speakers were not working at our end of the boat.

It’s a con

They sold unlimited drinks under false advertising and still are I’m on the cruise as I write this one bottom wine per couple only they are still selling the cruise as unlimited drinks it’s a con £436 for two bottles and average food very unhappy customer will not return please be warned

River Dinner Cruise

Seeing the Prague skyline from the water was lovely. The water was calm and it was tranquil. I think the boat was electric. It was a nice temperature inside despite the cold outside. The entertainment was fun, 2 guys, playing a guitar, the other a violin. They played a range of music and the crowd got right behind them. The welcome drink was a small glass of prosecco. The prices to purchase further alcohol were extortionate, I guess because they have a captive audience. But nearly £40 for a bottle of prosecco is extortion. The food was varied and overall was well prepared and tasty but when it was ready everybody scrambled to their feet so there was a long queue. It probably would have been better to direct one or two tables at a time. Overall though, a pleasant experience

Choose carefully

Very disappointing. We took the top package for a special night. Service wasn't brilliant and the trip itself was like an airplane circling around an airport trying to lose time until disembarking. Maybe a mile or so of river and it lasted three hours. Should have definitely done some more research

Nice way to see the city.

This was a very pleasant 3 hr evening event. It snowed all day but luckily we were able to go. The food was quite good.

Cruise in the winter

Excellent food and prompt service. The views from the river were magical. We got the deluxe ticket which had a more private feel.

Aggressive customer service person

Missed the cruise, waiting for the wrong boat. The administration person at the kiosk at 7pm on Sunday 26 November was extremely aggressive & rude! Horrible individual in the wrong job. He told me I was a fool and didn’t read the instructions correctly. I asked him his name Peter turns out it was a fake babe as no one knew about him. He told me he’d re book me on Tuesday but never did that. It’s not right to be spoken this way especially as a tourist in a foreign country. Leaves a horrible impression of the people working in the service industry. I would not recommend Prague boats because of this.

Very Relaxing and Enjoyable Evening

This tour was great. The food was acceptable and there was a wide variety. The entertainment was low-key and fit the atmosphere of the tour. Our boat was unable to pass through a lock, so we saw the same short part of the river several times, but that was no fault of the crew or experience.

Worth it!

A must-do experience as a couple in Prague. Did not disappoint. Organization of the buffet line could use some work, but the food was high quality.

No no no

Alcohol was too expensive! And because of a technical issue the boat made small circles for 3 hours. This cruise was 2 hours longer than it needed to be.

Prague river cruise

Really great time had on this river cruise. Buffet meal plenty of choice and as much as you can eat. Singer knew her audience and got everyone to join in. Not a site seeing cruise as such but great fun.

Great for a romantic dinner!

Food was excellent! We were shortened on the cruise because of a mechanical problem with the lock on the river. That was disappointing as it limited our scenery. The choice of 'free' wine was also disappointing. There was only one choice for either red or white (both dry) and it did not match the food options on the buffet.

Sophisticated evening

We had the very front table with the very best views. Even though it was cold outside, it was lovely to go outside and experience the views from the top aswell. Food and music were great.

Fab evening

Went for the deluxe option and well worth it. We both had a window seat up front and had a great view. Seeing everything lit up with colourful lights and the view of the castle was amazing. Very tasty hot /cold food, plenty to choose from and lots of it. The staff were lovely and very attentive, good live music. Before leaving we did get a bill for some drinks we had ordered which was a bit of a surprise because the details I received when booking with trip advisor was not correct. It was a little embarrassing but was worth every penny.

Prague From a Different Vantage Point

We booked the deluxe experience on the boat. It was an overall nice experience. There were only about 30 people on the entire boat so there was plenty of space. The deluxe may not be worth it unless you want a bottle of wine (red or white) and a nicer environment (nicer lighting and scene). Otherwise, I’d recommend you booking the window seat option (but truth be told there wasn’t a bad seat in the entire boat! The deluxe side doesn’t have a glass top (so that’s something to note). The music was great! The food was ok, nothing to write home about. The staff were all friendly and very attentive. The drinks via the bar were very affordable and delicious. The entire boat was closed in and the temp was nice inside. It was a pretty cold evening the night we went - we went on the top of the boat (open air with cocktail tables and chairs) as we went under the Charles Bridge. Overall the experience was nice and a great way to see some of the main Prague sites from a different vantage point.
