lovely way to see the city and have lunch

Was a nice way to see the city and have lunch. the lock system took a while but was still a nice time! They should at least include a bottle of water with lunch vs. charging but I know in Europe you pay for water everywhere.

there were plenty of food on board, and live music during the cruise. it was fun. the sailing was smooth. the scenery is very nice.

Prague boat ride - 2 hours

The boat ride itself is pleasant and isn’t a tour as there’s no commentary- just for clarity. We did the ride without lunch but the lunch looked very good. Lunch and non - lunch customers were partitioned on the boat which is understandable. The waiter was however obdurate in that we were hassled every 15 minutes for drink orders which was annoying, especially when sparkling water was 145 Czech crowns for a 750 ml bottle. The boat was clean and had good ablution facilities. There was an accordion player who was very proficient. All in all an above average experience.

Stunning views

Absolutely stunning way to see a side of the city from a totally different angle. Boat spacious with lots of options for seating; inside and out. Refreshments available. Thank you.

Relaxing on the river

The foood was excellent. The welcome drink wonderful. The boat setup exceeded our expectation. The accordion player during the trip was so nice. Some narrating of sites would have been nice but I do realize it was a relaxing luncheon. Enjoyed it.

Boat in the water, good service was the prize!

Lovely way to spend a couple of hours on a wet day. Did get a bit warm in the boat towards the end and so a bit of air flow would have been nice. Quite pricey when in-board too, but service was great and so as an experience, we loved it.

Pretty decent way to spend some time

It's a very nice way to have a nice lunch and see some sites. The waiters are polite and prompt, drinks are reasonably priced and the food was plentiful and enjoyable, though the line for the buffet is somewhat unrelentingly long.

I loved this lunch cruse. Welcoming and friendly staff, good food and good service. I highly recommend this trip.

Detailed opinion. Read if you thinking of trying this trip.

It is what it is… don’t expect something fancy or good. It’s just a nice timeout after walking way to much for several days. But could do it without the music. IF we are doing this again, it’s without the food and on deck. It was more pieceful there. The drinks cost waaaaay too much and are not cold and really small. And I’m from Norway! I’m used to expensive… The weirdest is when you are paying the waiter ask “here is the bill, it’s without tip, do you want to add 10% for tip? If you liked my service…” We didn’t even see or talk to any of them. But they had alooot to do. Of course they got tips. Poor waiters… tried their best. And when you are leaving, the musician wants a tip to! But it was okay. Not terrible. Recommend it for your last day when you already are tired :)

A very relaxed way to spend a few hours sightseeing.

This was a very enjoyable and relaxed way to spend a few hours in the middle of the day. The boat was modern, clean, and well maintained. The staff was exceptional. The quality of the buffet luncheon was good and plentiful.

Prison boat

I work in tourism in Europe and am a well seasoned traveler that knows and despises a rip off. “Romantic river lunch cruise “ should have been call the “prison cruise “ my first red flag for this 2 hour river detention started with us being crammed into an airless dining hall with some women rambling away on a microphone… we then lined up to get prison food from the buffet- no water , all drinks one must pay for, and once you return to your table you have the others in line standing almost on top of you while you eat. You want to escape so you go up top and sit on the unmoving boat for another hour admiring others on the shore having a wonderful free and fun time. When you complain and say this really is not my idea of a good time can you at least give me a coffee so I don’t jump overboard the arrogant waiter says well “ this is Prague” and we will not give you a coffee. In many ways he was correct this is the poor state of tourism in Prague - tacky tourism overrunning the Beauty of this city and money grabbing happening at every turn. Rude staff, sick food, no drinks included and boat sat most of the time. They could’ve played some music and given a beer to keep us happy. So simple , so sad . Wish I could give zero star

See Prague by water way

The dock was easy to find, staff were attentive. The food was plentiful although not all to my taste. The 2 hours was smooth and relaxing with as much happy juice as you wanted (but not included in the ticket price)

Too much time stopped! 1 hour should have been more than enough

We took a 2 hour cruise few days ago! We took the two hours without lunch! The weather was very good, the boat was in super good condition and the service was amazing! Note: we took it without buffet! In short i give two stars, cause the cruise is very short and there is nothing that you cannot see by a quick walk! I have not counted the time, but easily 40% of the time we were stopped due to other boats as well as waiting til the river water levels up to continue the cruise (two times). I find the cruise very expensive and not compelling for what it is, as well as the bar prices! I feel sorry for such a review due to the good service of the crew! But maybe they can adjust the price more or neglect the two hour cruise!

Boat trip

Comfortable boat provided a very enjoyable experience the food choice was varied and very good. Live music on board added a lovely atmosphere.

Disappointing experience.

We booked our trip through Jet2 as there was an offer on. Arrived for our cruise on time and we're asked, along with another couple, to come aboard. We were encouraged to order food and drinks for the tour. These were not cheap. We waited and waited, then after our trip time, a member of staff was on the phone sounding stressed. Then came to us to say the trip was cancelled as not enough people showed up. I understand that they need to have enough people to run the trip, but they were really pushy about ordering for the trip, which they had already brought to us so couldn't have a refund. As we had booked through a third party, could not get a refund. We were offered to change to a shorter tour but had just missed that one so would have to wait for another hour of we wanted to do this. No apologies from the staff, just if we want to ask Jet2 for our money back. Really disappointing experience.

Perfect NYE lunch cruise

We opted for the lunchtime 2 hour cruise. Easy to book, directions were fine (although we didn’t need to pick up tickets as advised in our confirmation - the online QR code we received allowed us on board). Initially I was disappointed not be sat in the glass ceiling area but in reality it didn’t make much difference to our experience. The buffet style lunch was delicious and plentiful and we couldn’t fault it. The service was good and the guy playing the accordion was really good and engaging with the audience. I could have stayed another hour and really enjoyed the trip. A nice way to see Prague from a different perspective.

Nice 2 hour boat cruise of Prague

Enjoyed the 2 hour cruise. Very beautiful views of Prague. Very nice, well-kept boat. Friendly staff. Nice selection of wine, snacks and light lunch fare.

Good boat clean and new with wide windows to spend a pleasant lunch. good service, pleasant music on board. The food was fresh and varius.

100% would recommend!

I booked this as a surprise for my sisters as part of a pre-xmas girly few days, and I was not disappointed with it! We had a brilliant couple of hours, the food was great as were the views. We didn't find the staff particularly friendly, but they weren't rude, just a bit direct. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing water cruise!

Great experience

Lovely experience along the river. The boat was clean and decorated for the holiday season. Live music was played along the way, and the buffet lunch was delicious. I think it was definitely worth it!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

Awful. Do not waste time or money. Sat on the river for 15 minutes then spent half an hour in the lock. Went down the river and back for 15 mins just to sit in the lock again Trip was supposed to be 2 hours was only 1hr 45 mins and spent over an hour just sitting in the lock or in the middle of the river. Barely went anywhere not worth the money. Can’t comment on the food as we didn’t have the lunch option. Toilets were also pretty grim

Good value

A 2 hour trip with lunch. A nice boat - seemed quite modern and well decorated for the season. Plenty of space to move around. Very efficient service and the food was (surprisingly) good quality and quantity on the buffet. Could have done with a bit more info on the sightseeing but. Just an information card left a bit to be desired.

Great/relaxing

Horrible experience!!

It is a Scam, they said our tickets were used 4 days ago, when the reservation was for today. The never gave any solution. DO NOT BUY !!!

Great choice

Very great excursion. The food selection was not the largest but there was a guy playing an instrument that was very very good. I was also able to smoke my cigar upstairs which I loved.

Surly and unhelpful staff

The boat left without us. A surly employee told us to go to Pier 1, but the boat there never opened up and we had to leave without getting either the cruise or the lunch.

Excellent trip, nice boat with indoors if raining. We would recommend and certainly go again if in Prague.

The views provided memorable photos that always remind me of this beautiful city. The tour allowed me to immerse myself in the history of Pague fully.

River and lunch

A great experience in Prague. Worth the time investment of just 2 hours because you get lunch with the river experience. Extraordinary views and a very smooth ride up and down the river.

Nice way to view Prague

Did the two hour cruise and sat on the upper deck. No problem finding a seat on the clean and modern ship. There were servers walking around if you wanted to purchase refreshments. Was a relaxing and pleasant cruise that gave a nice perspective for taking photos of Prague attractions. You do have to go through the locks twice, which took about 15 minutes each time, but not a big deal. Good thing is there were no other boats waiting, which could make your sitting around longer if there is; just something to be aware of. Overall worth it.

Very smooth boat trip, well organised

Pleasant boat trip, very smooth journey. Lovely food and good drinks service by the waiting on staff. Waited quite a while in the locks (20 mins or so) but still saw some good sights along the way.

INever a cruise, not in my opinion anyway,

Beautiful boat. Excellent service by staff. Food good and a good variety however hadn’t realised it was a buffet. Big queues. Had thought it was set meal and would be served. at table. Cruise is a far stretch of actual meaning of word. Spent Approx 25 mins in a lock. Cruised for 10 mins, turned around, spent another 25 mins in said lock and more or less sailed back to pier. Docked 10 mins early. Very, very disappointing. Cannot recommend as a worthwhile excursion,

Worth it

Had a great experience. Boat was about half full, went mid sept so that probably help. Did the noon time slot. Food was pretty good & and waiters provide great service, no complains.

Must do cruise!

Very well organized and well run. The ship was modern, very clean and comfortable. The ship left promptly at the scheduled time and returned to the dock on time. A tasty buffet with plenty of selection was included. It was well worth the cost and very glad we took it.

Relaxing fun lunch with great views

Exactly as advertised. Very clean and organized, the food was great quality with good variety, service staff very efficient as well. A nice relaxing way to take in some views.

Boring.

We spent 20 minutes waiting to enter the lock and 20 minutes in the lock itself. In other words the boat was not in motion most of the time. They do not narrate anything but instead play annoying 90s American music the entire time. So 80 minutes of the two hours we just sit still.

Great operation but is it worthwhile? Dont pay for window seat.

Food was very good. Staff very good. Boat very nice. There was nothing you couldnt see from bridges and walking. And thete is no need to pay for a window seat. That was a ripoff.

Very professional lunch cruise. Great staff excellent food. A great way to spend 2 Hours in Prague. We had a window seat which I would recommend for the little bit extra.

Lovely to be off the swarming streets of Prague and enjoy the city from the river. Food was great and service was efficient and excellent - good value for money!
