Elegance and humor

Absolutely enchanting evening of Mozarts best hits (yes, I just said that.) Coupled with wonderful food. Not to mention a hotel and ballroom venue filled with history. Don't like classical music? I promise you, you will like this. They played truly the best pieces. The food, 3 courses, was superb! Didn't get 5 stars because, we had wished we had a choice. The beef was truly delish though. Enjoyable evening in Mozarts hometown.

A Worthwhile Experience When in Prague City...

Since I was travelling alone to Prague city for the very first time, I decided to treat myself to the Mozart Concert along with a balcony seat where I had the best view facing the entire stage. I certainly cannot complain about the view! The dinner was also nicely done and a good introduction to Czech cuisine. The waiters were extremely friendly and polite, which added a nice touch to the wonderful experience. The music and opera singing performances were excellent, and the ballroom's architecture and decor reflected the grand history of the old hotel building. Overall, it's certainly a worthwhile experience even though the price was a little bit on the high side. The private balcony seating would be most ideal for couples who wish to celebrate any special occasion, and who do not mind paying the premium price for a wonderful, unforgettable experience.

A really enjoyable evening. The performance was top notch and the food was delicious. The setting is so pretty. Highly recommend!

Wonderful evening in Prague!

A wonderful evening! Great meal, lots of wine, and a great opera performance. Small venue, attentive staff, and an amazing setting! I would highly recommend this excursion.

Charming evening activity

Delightful experience. I worried it would be a bit amateur given it is geared for tourists but the performers and the musicians were excellent. Very enjoyable.

Excellent evening, musicians and opera singers were wonderful and comical at times. The food was enjoyable and the venue very ornate and pretty. Thoroughly recommend for a lighthearted fun way to spend an evening in Prague.

Snippets of opera as an introduction

Small bites of opera without the formality of a long evening. Food was good, service excellent. Recommend for any age group over 10 yrs.

Great experience

Outstanding performances by musicians and singers. Food was surprisingly good! An intimate setting with a total of 60 to 70 guests. Service was also very good. A very pleasant evening. Would go again.

Outstanding music, not do good food

The musicians and singers were terrific.The food was only mediocre The service was excellent. The hotel staff was very helpful in finding the location which is a bit difficult to find because it is a separate entrance at the very back of the hotel itself .

Unexpectedly fabulous evening

This was honestly my favorite experience of our vacation. Not previous opera fans but this was so entertaining. Great singers with character and talented musicians. The room was gorgeous and the food was delicious with friendly staff.

Fairytale

I loved the show and the ambience .. but I wasn’t A big fan of the main course or starter . The dessert was good but nothing speacial ..

Too pushy to pay for drinks

Great music, spectacular venue but the waiter was so eager to get us to pay for drinks. I didn’t order more drinks but I was asked to pay extra. In the end, they realised he made a mistake. But the whole process felt like we were being pushed to drink rather than enjoy the music.

Great musical and cultural evening with lovely food and wine

Brilliant experience, very well organised, great musicians and singers, very interactive! We had a fantastic evening. Food was good too and wine v good and reasonably priced. Fabulous location and a wonderful evening.

Mozart opera highlights with dinner

The two opera singers and the musicians were very talented and added a little extra to their performances for a bit of fun. All were in period costumes and suited the venue. The three 20 min opera highlight session intertwined with the meal service quite well. The venue was nice the food fine as were the servers. Overall a little pricey but very good value. Have to recommend.

A little culture in Prague

The venue is amazing. The music and singers were incredible. Very intimate experience. Highly recommend.

Night of Mozart

Wonderful night of music in a very elegant setting. Performers and musicians were great! Food and drinks were excellent. Would definitely do this again.

A great evening

Great story and history of the room itself . Great theatre and acting on behalf of the singers . Great music . Great food. If anything, someone should have started the evening off with a welcome and what’s happening and at the end ( instead of an awkward “ do we just get up and leave “ someone should have closed the evening with a thank you and stay and drink or you can collect your coats etc …….

Absolutely spectacular!

This was the highlight of our trip. This concert and dinner were absolutely incredible. The theater is small so every seat seems like you are in the front row and VIP. The acoustics were spectacular, the singers were mind blowing, and the small quintet orchestra was amazing. The food and service were exceptional to top it all off. This is a must do event when in Prague!

Wonderful experience, good food, amazing music

My husband and I went to the Mozart Dinner on Christmas Eve and loved it! The concert was amazing and the venue is truly stunning. The opera was exceptional. The food was quite good and seemed very authentic, which was important to us. I would definitely recommend this. It was a beautiful and unique experience. Our entrees were carp and duck and both were amazing.

Expensive for the event

The entertainment was fun/good but the food was bland and uninteresting. The added drinks were very expensive.

A night to remember

This was an incredible experience! Excellent performances by all members of the ensemble- we visited as a family including a child and a teenager, both of whom found the whole show fascinating. The menu was very well prepared, as well. Excellent service and assistance. This is a pricy night out, but absolutely worth every penny.

Melodious evening in Grand Theatre.

Entertaining evening with amazing vocalists, talented musicians, satisfying meal all in an absolutely gorgeous theatre.

Lovely concert and dinner

Well worth attending. The musicians were amazing, as was the singers. The wait staff was attentive and efficient. The venue is perfect as we felt like royalty seeing a concert while having a fabulous dinner in such an opulent setting. I would highly recommend attending.

Beautiful setting. Great performance and food was good. Good price on beverage package. All in all a really nice evening.

Would definitely go again

Excellent Excellent Excellent! A 3 course meal interspersed with Mozart opera and 5 piece string quintet in a beautiful setting. Very intimate. They were able to accomodate a vegetarian meal with seitan (have to let them know ahead of time). My teens want to go back again for the food and for the music. Located inside the Grand Hotel Bohemia but the entrance is on the side.

Excellent Performance, Food, Service, and Venue

A beautiful soprano and a baritone provide the vocal entertainment along with a quintet. The performances were excellent and enjoyable. The venue is ornate classical with the furnishings to match. Because the venue is quaint, the music resonates very well and there is not a bad seat in the house. The food was excellent and the wine never stopped pouring. As you enter, there is a coat check station so don't worry about showing up all bundled. The service was friendly and excellent. Some tables, like ours, were shared, but there are some smaller tables with only couples. We sat on the main area and noticed some private balcony tables. Quite frankly, the main dining area seemed to provide better viewing and sound, especially when the singers occasionally walked through the audience. The performance is broken in 3 parts with food delivered within the parts. The pace was good and we didn't want it to end. We would book again.

Definitely recommend even if you aren’t familiar with opera or think you don’t like opera!!!

I was at a table for 8 and was adopted by a local mom and her two adult daughters. They were so kind. The concert was fabulous. The artists were very, very good! The food was good. The service was great. I recommend better directional signage. It was challenging to get to the venue from within the hotel.

A Lovely Evening

A wonderful evening for our 20th wedding anniversary. The music/entertainment was superb. My husband and I both had the beef. Mine was quite good. Unfortunately my husbands beef was tough with a large vein of fat all through it, which really made it inedible. I gave him some of mine. Otherwise I would have rated it 5 on 5.

Amazing Mozart

We attended 5 Mozart concerts while on holiday: 1 in Vienna, 3 in Salzburg, and 1 in Prague. All were excellent but this was undoubtedly my favorite in every way. Music. Food. Ambiance. A delightful experience I hope to have again.

Great experience! Highly recommended. One of the highlights of trip to Prague. Setting, food and music were all great. All four of us had a great time.

Wonderful and entertaining evening of dinner and Mozart!

What a wonderful experience! First of all, the ballroom is spectacular. Our meal was quite good, but what you are coming for is the atmosphere and the concert. As for the performance, great music from an energetic and very entertaining group of performers. There was lots of humor in addition to beautiful music. What's not to like?

The Mozart concert was...

The Mozart concert was great, the venue was amazing however the food was not great. The beef was tough and the desert was not great.

This was an amazing evening. Can’t rate it highly enough! Easy to find. Cloakroom attendant really friendly (even organised our taxi at the end!) Ballroom opulent. Service amazing. Food excellent. Performance incredible. Something not to be missed if in Prague. Such a memorable evening! Absolutely excellent (Note: no lift)

Great musical evening

The quality of the performers--the musicians and the opera singers--was truly incredible. The location for the concert/show--the Boccaccio Ballroom-- was beautiful and had a fascinating history to add to its mystique as well. The meal was good, though the beef was a tad dry. Overall, an excellent way to spend a night enjoying the talent of Prague. TripAdvisor is an excellent way to find activities to do, in Prague and other cities as well. We booked several other events as well and were happy with all of them.

Theater and concert were great. The food on the other hand was sub par. Takes a long time to get a meal that is not good

Excellently-Played Chamber Music and Opera with a Beautiful Dinner in an Over-the-Top Elegant Ballroom

The virtuoso concert and sumptuous venue which is much more beautiful than the ad photo, both exceeded my expectations. The ballroom is only a few minutes walk from Old Town which was very convenient. The meal was elegantly prepared and served on beautiful dishes and the Bohemian crystal held a delicious welcome drink of Prosecco.

A fantastic dinner theater experience

My first experience with the opera was a great one! The performance is done in twenty-minute “digestible” segments, with the dining courses in between. The singers were wonderful and the orchestra was amazing. We enjoyed each course of the dinner. I would highly recommend this as part of your Prague experience.
