Full-Day Guided Big City Bike Tour in Prague

Private all day bicycle tour, seven hours

It would take you seven days to learn and experience what we did in seven hours with a private guided all day tour with Praha bike. We chose regular bikes because we enjoy the exercise. The cycling terrain was extremely easy for any level of experience. We were only in Prague for a few days so when we arrived, we stopped by Praha bike to confirm our reservation. There we met Carlos who was to be our personal guide the following day. If you plan on following my advice, you must ask for Carlos to be your guide for the day. He is incredibly knowledgeable and his history story telling keeps you entertained the whole time. We enjoyed his company so much we asked him to join us during the lunch break midday. If you’re in Prague for just a short time, be sure and sign up for this it is reasonably priced and you will learn and see so much. truly one of the highlights of our vacation.

Perfect for a short time in Prague

We did the big city bike tour and a portion of the panoramic tour in the afternoon with Vladimir. Since my wife and I were the only participants to continue with the panoramic tour, Vladimir modified the routes especially based on our interests. He was great and very knowledgeable. We have done one day bike tours in Paris, New Orleans, Portland (Maine), and Philadelphia. All were good, this one was a real treat and a great way to see the city if you have a short amount of time.

Amazing guide and good equipment

Absolutely amazed by the tour! Our guide Richard did a really good job. He knows a lot about the town (and other towns too). We learnt a lot and had fun at the same time ! Richard was very nice and accomodating (we were a group of three so it was easy to please everyone I guess). We did the day tour, starting at 10:00 finishing at 17:00 (with a good break for lunch and the possibility to eat at the restaurant if you want to). The bikes were really good even on paved streets. A small bottle of water is provided but I would recommend to bring extra as it's a long trip. I recommend doing the tour on your first day so that you can decide what to visit the next days :). A big thank you to Richard for the guided tour and thank you to the team at reception who welcomed us very nicely and looked after our bikes professionally!

Great tour which helped us get to know our way around and Marek, the guide was very knowledgeable. He also gave us lots of advice on Prague.

Cycling through time

We had a excellent experience with our very knowledgeable guide Francisco, who obviously loves his Job, and loves the city as he not only knows the ins and outs of it , but also all it’s history. He was also very empathetic even when there was a delay with a young rider that was struggling with his bike. Couldn’t recommend this tour enough, it was an outstanding experience. Thank you Francisco the legend.

What a fun and interesting tour! This was at a sensible, relaxed pace, stopping to take in the sights every 10 minutes or so. Antonoi the guide was a great guy. He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and funny. I would definitely recommend this bike tour to anyone wanting to see that little bit more.

This was our second tour with Praha Bike in two days. Our guide was Misel and spending the day with him was a highlight of our 2 week trip - very friendly, professional, lots of fun, and a "walking history book" in knowledge and experience! This was absolutely the best way to see Prague, especially if only there for a couple of days, as in our case. I can't say enough positive things about this company - great experience!

Perfect way to get to know Prague

Our guide Antonio made me fall in love with Prague in just an afternoon. His witty and insightful explanations about the history and anecdotes surrounding the city were the perfect addition to the stunning vistas and breathtaking locations he took us to. He was not just a great group leader, but also an amazing human being with a big heart and a sharp mind. Highly recommended!

Magical bike tour

Francisco was engaging and brought this amazing city alive for our group. We were provided with ear pieces so we could hear him as we rode. Francisco found paths through the city making it easy for us, and taught us a great deal of history. He was a story teller. The city of Prague is truly magical and this bike tour is an ideal introduction.

Loved spending the day with Antonio!

We take bike tours all over the US and Europe. After we've made our plane reservations, the second task is to find the best bike tour and we definitely did that when we found PRAHA BIKE. They were very professional, making sure the bikes fit us properly and were comfortable. Once we got on the road with Antonio we saw his fun side, as well as his VERY knowledgable side. He really knows his stuff about the city and the history of Prague, dating way back. As a native of Mexico, Antonio was able to relate the information very well to those of us that are not familiar at all with Prague, the culture or the language. We had a terrific day and recommend Praha Bike and Antonio highly!

Great Experience

The orientation at the start of the tour was very helpful. During the whole trip, our guide shared wonderful insights and historical background of the places we visited. But what we appreciated the most was their genuine concern for our safety. It was a rainy day and we went back to their office after the 1st half of the tour. Given the rain and our struggle, the guide asked us on whether we wish to continue or not. When we said we want to stop, they refunded half of the tour cost even if we did not asked for it. She even recommended places and restaurants to visit.

Fantastic way to see the city

We were offered good quality bikes and given a cool bottle of water. Helmets were also offered. There were only 4 of us in the morning tour and we covered a good distance around Prague on our first morning in the city. We had a lovely, knowledgeable guide, Francesco, who talked to us through headphones as we went around the city. He then suggested a place for lunch, serving local food and beer. More people joined us after lunch and we toured round different parts of the city in a leisurely manner. It was an interesting way to see a lot of the city and hear about the history too.

Great full day tour with Declan & Vacek

Much to our (pleasant) surprise we were the only 2 participants on the full day tour. On top of that ... we had 2 guides: Declan, originally from Ireland, and Vacek, a Czech native. Declan guided us through the morning part showing us all the panoramic views from uphill. It was a perfect mix of biking and taking a pause to enjoy the views and listening to the stories, legends and history of the city. We went back in town where they took us to a very good, local and affordable restaurant close to the bike shop. It felt good to have a break before heading out for the city part of the tour. That’s where Vacek took over. He guided us through 10-15 stops along the way professionally mixing old and more recent history and art ranging from Charles IV, over Kafka to David Cerni. We had a great first day in Prague. From 10 AM to 5 PM: 2.5 hours of panoramic views, 2 hour lunch break, and 2.5 hours in the city. Go with Praha bike, you won’t regret it. Declan & Vacek, thanks for being our guides and taking some nice pictures of us along the way. This was a perfect way to start our visit to Prague.

Great introduction to Prague

We like to do bike tours of all cities to get orientated, and get some perspective. Praha Tours met this objective. Main Guide Francisco was enthusiastic but fairly new to the city, & stuck to the “script”. We really appreciated the presence of Richard as trainee guide. Richard was born in Prague & was able to provide a greater insight to Prague & Czech Republic.

Best Way to Start Our Trip

I highly recommend the full day bike tour with Praha Bikes. It was the first thing we did in Prague and it was the best decision. We were able to explore all of Prague in one day where it helped us determine where to revisit and spend more time in. We emailed Praha Bikes the day before and they were able to book the tour. Luckily, my boyfriend and I were the only riders, so it felt like our own personal tour. When we arrived at the bike shop, we were given water bottles and was offered more water when we returned for the second half of the tour. Our tour guides were Declan, Francisco, and Christy. They were all very knowledgable on Prague history and kept us safe on the tour. We ended up running into Francisco later that evening and he "continued the tour" with more facts about the area we were in. Our tour guides took us to beautiful sights of the city, gave great recommendations on places to visit/eat, and were friendly. The bikes themselves were well kept, comfortable, and had a water bottle holder/basket to hold your items. I would also recommend an e-bike if hills aren't your thing.

My girlfriend and I decided to do the combined panoramic and city tours on the first day of our first trip to Prague and cannot say enough about the tour. Our tour guides, Declan, Francisco, and Christy were super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about Prague’s rich history. Being a little nervous about some of the hills during the panoramic tour, my girlfriend opted to get an e-bike while I went with a traditional bike. The tour guides made sure that the bikes were a perfect fit for both of us and took extra time to show us how the e-bike worked. The tour was great. The pace was comfortable with lots of time to ask questions, take pictures, and get recommendations for the rest of the trip. We learned a lot about Prague and used what we learned to plan the rest of our visit. Our trip would not have been the same without Praha Bikes. Thanks again!

Bike ride with Marek

We were in Prague just for two days so we wanted to see lots of the city . Chose the full day bike tour which went from 10 am to 5pm. Very comfortable starting time. We rode in the morning to many highlights and Marek was our guide. He was very knowledgable about the the history and meaning of these historical sights. It was a beautiful autumn day. Lunch was great with him at an authentic and reasonably priced lunch spot that he chose. We could eat anywhere but enjoyed his company so much that we all ate together during our lunch break in the afternoon which also about 1.5 hours. After that we were ready to see more sights and bike some more. All round fantastic day. Thank you Marek!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Big City Bike Tour. Our guide, Erin, provided insights to the city as he introduced us to the history and sights of Prague. We felt he did a great job. I liked the tour so much I bought a t-shirt :)

Excellent way to introduce the city!

I had a few days off after my friend's wedding so I decided to visit Prague. I've done walking tours and bike tours before and I knew this would be a good way to familiarize myself with the city and gain some local insight, which it certainly was. My tour guide, Francesco, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I did the city tour the first day and the castle tour the second day, and I would highly recommend both. I feel we covered the majority of ground in Prague and he provided some very interesting history that made me appreciate the city that much more. Plus, even afterwards he gave me several recommendations on where to eat or have fun! 10/10, would do again!

Best possible introduction to Prague!

We had an awesome full day bike tour with Michal in Prague. We rode the more difficult parts in the morning, and the easier parts in the afternoon which was perfectly planned. The bikes were in great shape, and we really saw an amazing variety of sights in this beautiful city.

Great tour!

My adult daughter and I spent our first full day in Prague on the full day bike tour and loved it! We were the only participants on a cold and grey day, but it was the perfect overview of this beautiful city. Our guide was Andrew, a Canadian, who was able to answer all our questions about history, politics, and culture while displaying his enthusiasm for his adopted city. We started the morning with the Panoramic tour, took a break for lunch then continued on the city tour of Old Town, New Town, and Lesser Town in the afternoon. Kudos to Andrew who made it such an informative and fun day of exploration! Highly recommend Andrew and Praha Bike Tours!!
