Pleasant day out on the water

Prague in summer can be busy and chaotic, so it's worth spending a few hours outside the hustle and bustle of the city. The canoe tour is perfect for those who wish to escape for a while. It's interesting to learn about the local landscape as you lazily make your way down the river. The tour itself ran like clock and our guide Tynka made sure everyone enjoyed their day out.

Delightful day on the river. Great company.

This was a very enjoyable canoe trip. Tynka was a very pleasant and informative guide. She taught us how to be safe and navigate. She was very lively, understanding and encouraging. We learned a lot about Czech experience even as we paddled along in a leisurely way. It was beautiful to see the castle appear at the end of the trip. What a delightful day in nature. Also, Martin was very flexible and kind in helping to arrange my participation in a tour when the weather was not suitable for climbing. This is a great company.

River canoe trip

Fantastic day out, Michael collected us promptly from near our accommodation and drove us 40 minutes to the start point. After a short lesson and practice session we set off downstream. A great adventure paddling through a very scenic river valley bounded by rocky cliffs and forest. Welcome picnic lunch and drinks were provided. Good time to chat with our guide and other guests. Would definitely repeat, a well organised and fun day out.

Wonderful day together with the best host Martin who made us feel comfortable and safe along with the other guides. We got picked up at our hotel and then we got taken care of the whole trip. The lunch/picnic was delicious together with beer and dessert. Beautiful views and sounds of nature along the way. We could really recommend this to everybody.

Cracking Day Out!

After all the hustle and bustle of the City of Prague (as lovely as it is), it was great to get out and explore the Sazava River by Canoe with friends. Our Instructor was Martin. He picked us up from our hotel and drive us about an hour south of Prague. He took the time to explain what to do, what was about to happen and what the itinerary was. There were some cheeky rapids amongst some stunning scenery that you would never know existed as it’s off the beaten track. After the Canoe trip, lunch and beers were supplied. At was genuinely the highlight of our trip to Prague. Fun was had by everyone.

Brilliant canoe trip 10/10

We did the canoe trip as two couples on holiday. Martin made sure the entire trip was very enjoyable the entire day. We loved the scenery and company. The lunch provided was delicious and we even got some beers to wash it down. Highly recommend this trip.

Lovely day trip outside of Prague

Lovely day trip outside of Prague. The guides were very laid-back and friendly (they went out of their way to provide my partner and I with vegan lunch options) and the scenery was beautiful. Highly recommend, especially on a hot summer day, since you can hope out of your canoe and swim at any time.

Perfect water

The trip was great. The scenery was beautiful. However, we and another couple were often left behind without a tour guide. One person in the other couple had a heart problem. It was long but memorable.

Great way to get out of city and see Czech!

Great time and tour was well organized! Also found out they offer rock climbing! Martin is a good outdoorsman and can set you up with real mountain biking as well.

My friend and I had a great time on this trip. Great views and going over the whitewater sections was a lot of fun. Would highly recommend as a day trip during your stay in Prague

Super nice experience

Our guide was super friendly, and we enjoyed it a lot. I came there with two kids and i could not walk proper but i did get such great support that our kanu trip was a full success. It felt like spending good time with friends :) Thank you so much for the beautiful day!

Wounderful trip into nature

Amazing Guides that took care of every member. Wonderful simple lunch in a little authentic restaurant. You drive through a beatiful scenary and you will see how people from town spend their free time in little cabins. Realy a special experience close to prague !

Awesome canoe Tour with great guys

We had heaps of fun with Martin and Lukas on our canoe Tour. They are very experienced and we always felt save. Booking and communication was easy and the advantage of being picked up from our accomodation made the day easy to enjoy and stressl ess. Both of them spoke perfekt english. We would definately reccomend this Trip. We had Lots of laughes and all of us really enjoyed the day 👍👍👍🚣🚣‍♂️🚣‍♀️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️

Really fun activity in an beautifull area!

We realy liked the trip with Martin! He showed us the nice places down the river by canoe. Martin knows a lot about the area and can tell a lot about it. Also he is very passionate with other outdoor sports, so there is lots of experience. Sure you need to book this trip!

a great experience

Martin was kind and a real expert , both with the canoe and with his thorough knowledge of the area. He looked after us and it was clear to the eye that it was important to him that our experience will be full, unique and different. His English is perfect. The canoe is easy and safe to ride at any age and Martin is a real expert. As a person he is kind with sense of humor, patient and full of life. It was a pleasure to take the journey with him We strongly recommend him and his unique tour.

Great Day Out

Martin picked us up early (8am) which was great as it meant we were on the water by 9 and had the river to ourselves. When I booked the trip at Easter the temperature was 20c but today it was only 8c which also meant my son and I were the only 2 on the trip which meant. Martin was a really friendly and helpful guide throughout and he and my son were soon into the benefits of one MTB versus another on the drive down. At the river he leant us some neoprene footwear which was much appreciated given the temperature. The river itself is beautiful with enough gentle white water to make it interesting without ever becoming too challenging. The local lunch was good and we were back in Prague about 4:30. A really enjoyable trip and I would have no hesitation in recommending Martin for this or any of his other outdoor activities.

Lovely day in countryside!

Great day trip for my teens, husband, and me. Martin was a knowledgeable and likable guide who picked us up (9am) and dropped us off (5:30) at our apartment in Prague. Beautiful fall colors (mid October), slow but continuously moving river culminating at old castle. High quality and easy to use equipment. Wear layers and bring change of clothes (we didn’t get very wet, but certainly possible).

Fantastic Views!

We weren't sure what to expect, but it turned out to be a brilliant experience. It was an easy mission, no rapids as it was rather shallow, it was so relaxed, and being able to stop a number of times along the river was lovely. Dominika, our guide was great, so laid back and down to earth, easy person to get along with. If you are looking for a relaxed but fairly physical experience with beautiful views, I would highly recommend this!!

Canoe down the Sazava River

We "were" first time canoers. Martin our guide picked us up from the hotel. We had a quick stop for coffee and a quick snack before we started on our canoe trip. Martin explained the dynamics of the canoe and navigating it in very clear simple instructions. Got a little bit of practice time before we headed out. The scenary is just gorgeous. So don't forget to take a moment and just take it all in. The trip ended with lunch at the which was exactly what we needed!!! And a big pint of Czech beer. I highly recommend doing this tour if you need a break from the crowds and the city. Very professional and a wonderful experience!!!

Highlight of the trip

We went canoeing with Martin and it was an amazing trip! He was nice, easy to talk to, funny and down to earth. It was nice to discover the beautiful nature of Prague and to Canoe down the river. All in all the highlight of our four days trip

Canoe Trip on Sazava River

We booked the activity as couple and we joined another group of five people. The activity was led by Dominika, that is a very nice person and expert instructor (she plays Kayak polo as pro). She was preparing the equipment and explaining the basic rules and then, during the trip, following up in case of need. We were canoeing on a 4h route and we had two breaks (coffee and lunch) The nature over there is amazing, we saw beautiful landscapes and the river itself was not so difficult as it was also a bit shallow. Afterwards we were a bit tired but satisfied. Recommended!

Chilled day on the water

Group of lads on a stag do. We had a really good day canoeing and couple stops for a beer and food. Amazing scenery and martin was a brilliant guide. Would deffinatly book with him again if I were to go there again.

Brilliant day out

Dominika was an excellent guide and made us very comfortable with her calm and assured manner. The trip itself was a great day out from the city into a wonderful part of the countryside. Having been collected from our accommodation meant there were no worries at all on the day. If you are in Prague for more than a couple of days this presents the perfect break and window into a different side of Czech life. You must be prepared to get wet and to spend some time walking in the river. Although we did not have good weather this had no impact on our enjoyment and the pub lunch tasted all the better having worked up an appetite. A day that will live long in the memory would not hesitate to go again.

Amazing canoeing down Sazava River with Martin

Martin and his friend were excellent guides and teachers. Brian and I had a wonderful first time experience canoeing, they gave us great instructions and tips before our journey and along the river. The river was beautiful with spectacular views. We ate lunch at a local joint in the village, food was Delicious. Martin gave us great recommendations on where to eat and drink in Prague. We would take this trip again and others he offers when we return to Prague. Absolutely fascistic!

Perfect!

The trip was everything we were hoping for and more! Being picked up at our AirBnB was super convenient. Martin was amazing, and amazingly patient with our subpar canoeing skills. It was a peaceful yet active retreat from the touristy city center. Martin's warmth made it feel as if we were long-time friends. Would absolutely go again in a heartbeat.

Enorme aanrader

Echt super geregeld! We hebben redelijk laat pas gereserveerd, maar alles werd goed geregeld door Martin. Hij heeft zelfs een dag vrij genomen voor ons om de trip te kunnen verzorgen. Hij was erg gezellig en gaf goede begeleiding. Hij maakte foto's van ons onderweg zodat onze spullen droog konden blijven in de waterdichte tas die erbij inbegrepen was. Het uitzicht was prachtig, we kwamen langs typisch Tsjechische hutjes en hebben heerlijke Tsjechische cuisine gegeten als lunch. Echt een enorme aanrader!

Wunderschöne Tour mit einer fantastischen Führerin Dominika !!!

Die Tour ist super organisiert, macht riesigen Spaß, ist jedoch auch etwas anstrengend. Wer glaubt, ohne jeglichen Kraftaufwand da durch zu kommen, der irrt. Es ist jedoch auch keine harte Arbeit :) Der Fluss, die Landschaft und das Fahren, alles war wunderbar und wunderschön. Unserer Begleiterin/Führerin Dominika war so eine herzliche und liebevolle Person. Sie erklärte uns alles mit großer Geduld und half uns uns zurecht zu finden mit dem Kanu. Wir wollten gar nicht, dass die Tour endet!!!! Eine wirklich tolle Erfahrung!!!

Kanondag i kanot

Perfekt! Enkel transport eftersom vi hämtades och lämnades på hotellet. Fantastiskt trevlig guide. Härlig kanottur! Vi badade och hoppade i och ur kanoten när vi ville. Lite roliga sträckor med vattenfall. Paus med glass utefter turen. Även lunchpaus. Allt låg nära stranden på floden. Professionellt utfört av företaget!
