Best way to see Prague

Our tour guide, Coby/Kobe, was SO Knowledgeable! American by birth, we didn't think he would know much abt Czech history. Boy were we wrong. Amazing! We learned so much. Great guy too, very patient with some challenging folks in the group.

Average Prague city tour

The tour promises much but unfortunately falls short of expected delights. The guide takes you through the notable monuments etc but there is no way you can see inside any of the cathedrals or churches or buildings ....of course some have entrance fees but many others do not....it is a bit hectic and rushed for people who wish to have a more detailed view of things. The lunch was fine and the boat ride was much as usual so one gets to see all the famous points of the Old city but don't expect to have a historical overview filled with imagination and wonder.

Value For Money Tour

Went on the tour on June 12, 2024 with my wife. We came from Nigeria. Our Tour guide , Plenka, was very good, knowledgeable and she was able to interact with all members in the group. She was also able to relate well because she does has touri guide experiences in Africa and other places. Her timing / sense of humour was good. The Tour itself was good money for value and we visited key places in Prague and ended watching the Old Clock ring at 5pm. Will recommend this tour + Tour Guide.

Good tour not to do on a Saturday because it’s too crowded. Lunch is good and boat ride too. The bus is used just for to pick you up.. this is a walking tour. The group size was a bit big.

Highly recommend this tour!

Excellent tour; guide was knowledgeable and very helpful. Started to rain heavily and she ushered us into a church, and pretty much continued her tour there, even though it wasn't on our route. Lunch was excellent, and boat ride very nice. Even though we had been in Prague a week by then, we learned many new things on this tour. It was spaced out very well, so we weren't tired from all the walking.

Prague by Foot

Navigating a busy Old Town Prague was challenging, but Barbara did a great job informing and keeping the group together.

What a great tour! Our guide, Barbara, was excellent. The lunch was good as well. The tour involved quite a bit of walking (4.5-5 miles). There was a gentleman on the tour with a bad knee, and he was unaware that there was so much walking. Perhaps the tour description could include information about the amount of walking. But….it was such a good tour for us, and we learned so much about the city!

Informative tour but a bit too long

Informative tour but way too long in the heat. Tour guide enthusiatic. Our family was fine after the boat trip. A bit difficult to hear at times due to crowding.

Loved this trip!

I thought the tour was wonderful and our guide did a fantastic job. 6 hours tours though are very very long, so keep that in mind!

PERFECT WAY TO EXPLORE THIS WONDERFUL CITY

On time pick up from our hotel. Perfect group size of 6, English speaking guide. Tour guide, Lance, was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. Timings at each stage of the itinerary were idea. Lunch and drink provided could not be faulted. We had salad or soup starter with breaded chicken and garlic potatoes or goulash with bread dumplings. Boat trip was wonderful with option to purchase drinks on board. Found our way back from the Old Town with ease. Wonderful day, good walking boots, suntan cream/hat and a bottle of water are a must.

A little disappointed

Our guide was a wealth of knowledge, but there was a lot of walking vs stops and boat tour narration was practically useless (cursory, not really timely based on what we were seeing, and hard to hear). Great price, but as they say, you get what you pay for? Communication from tour operator was great, though, and definitely guide, Lance, knew his stuff.

Beautiful Prague

Excellent very knowledgeable guide ! If you are not in good shape the walk could be a bit difficult since there are not many place to sit and rest on the tour ( most had no issues 😁) . It’s a 6 hour tour with lunch , which was excellent, and a boat cruise and then continued for another 30 minutes aprox. Bring water, a hat and sunscreen and enjoy beautiful Prague !

Learnt a lot, but please remember not everyone is American

We were a little bit thrown when we turned up and an American, Lance, was conducting the tour, but once we got over that, and his deference to America 😩(not everyone is American or understands his references to it) we got a lot of historical information about what we we seeing and appreciated the guidance. We saw many sights on this tour but it wasn’t so overwhelming that we had information overload. I actually was able to absorb and retain what we saw and learned. The river cruise was really lovely, it was relaxing and so scenic. The lunch was ok, nothing special but also nothing wrong with it. It was a very nice tour and my previously limited knowledge of Prague is greatly improved from today.

Good quick hit

We only had three days in Prague -- and there is a LOT to see -- so this was an excellent opportunity to hit the highlights. Jon was an engaged, lively guide who made the tour interesting and entertaining and did yeoman's work in keeping the tour together.

Fun and engaging

Lance was an engaging tour guide who gave lots of historical facts and used humour, where appropriate, to make the stories come alive. The lunch was perfect as was the boat trip. This tour was great value so it gets a well deserved 5 stars.

Our guide Martin was very knowledgeable and very friendly stopping at various points to explain the history and any questions, You will see all the sights of Prague and come away knowing a little bit of the history of this wonderful city and country, you'll see the Castle, New Town, Old Town, Lesser Town, Jewish quarter, Lunch, John Lennon Wall and history behind it, Boat trip, Charles Bridge, excellent value, excellent Guide, Brilliant day.

Great way to see the highlights of Prague

We only had one day to explore Prague and this tour was a great way to see the highlights of the city. Lance was very informative and provided a lot of history and interesting tidbits about the city. The lunch was in a cool old building, and the food was very good. It was a larger group (24 total), and we had a few issues with folks wandering off (esp in the crowded areas), but overall Lance did a great job of managing everyone and making sure we could hear him.

Fast-paced/ Informative / Fun tour

This tour is good value for money if your short on time as it gives you a condense overview of the city's top sights. Some key points: Prague Castle (changing of the guard - happens every hour) Lunch (traditional czech food) River cruise Astronomical clock Charles bridge Baby jesus at church of our lady victorious etc.

Discovering Prague

What a great experience to learn about Prague’s history. Barbara was an excellent guide, weaving our way through the city streets . Our included lunch was generous and excellent quality. Well worth it folks

Great value for money

Guide was amazing. Really good value for money. Just be mindful it’s around 5 miles of walking but there are lots of stops so doesn’t feel like it!

Turned out to be a great tour

Thought about cancellation this tour since they got hacked and I got a phishing email from them - that said, I’m glad I decided to stick around with it as this tour turned out to be great. George was a fantastic guide and was very knowledgeable on all things Praha. The boat ride was a great finish towards end of the day. Highly recommend on doing this at the beginning of your visit instead of the end.

Excellent experience

Amazing trip that gave a complete flavour of what Prague has to offer George was a brilliant guide and very knowledgeable on Prague and Czech history I would recommend this trip to any first time visitor to Prague

Average Tour

Tour guide talks too long and don’t allow enough time for photos. Also she refuses to take photos for us after the first take did not turn out. Over all the whole tour is just zoom by all the main sites.

Must do!

We loved our tour with Lance! He was funny, had Graduate college-level knowledge about Prague history as well as having American sarcastic humor! Our group of 6 totally enjoyed his take on Prague, history, America, culture, food, etc. The 6 hours flew by. Lunch was also enjoyable. We highly recommend this tour and Lance.

Great value for money!

We had a great tour guide, Barbara who was very knowledgeable and friendly. I loved seeing Prague from a locals perspective. The lunch was excellent as well. This is a good tour if you want an overview of Prague, if you want to spend more time in a certain area then you should stay a few nights to really explore as this is like a “taster”. The river cruise was such a highlight as well. Great value.

My solo 3 days tour in Prague

Ian was super and very affable. Carefully selected places and lunch time was fun to be with the likeminded group who were open to discussions. The general introduction of tourist was a plus for your company.

Our tour guide Jan was fabuluos. You're lucky if you get him. Tour was great. Food at the restaurant was fantastic. Overall, it was money well spent!?? 💕

Informative and enjoyable

We were picked up promptly from our hotel. We learned a lot of history of the castle area. Our guide was very informative and friendly. Loved the cute restaurant that we has lunch at. The boat ride was comfortable and beautiful .

Great tour but might not be for everyone.

It was an overall great tour. We visited all the important places in the city and took great pictures. My only suggestion is to try to keep the content more focused and short. Adding too many details overwhelms people and in our group that was the case. Not that is was bad but for many it was too much.

Good overview of the major sights of Prague

Good overview of the highlights of Prague. Walking distance was around 4 miles, with one upstairs climb (maybe equivalent of 2 flights?) and one downstairs descent. Shuttle pick up at hotel went well, dropping us off behind Prague castle. Total group size was 20. Tour guide Lance gave overview of castle buildings, with some historical facts about some of the former residents of the palaces. No time actually spent inside any of the palaces. To view the interiors, plan to purchase tickets to get inside at a later visit. We ventured down the hill to Lesser Town, viewing more sights. Authentic Czech lunch followed. (You’ll be given a choice of entrees as the tour starts. Order is called in, so not long wait for big group to get your food). Wandered down to River, first passing the John Lennon wall, which was created not by Lennon, but local Czechs who were protesting during Communism era. Lots of graffiti art. We reached the dock and boarded boat for an out & back tour, which gave some nice views. It was a warm sunny day, perfect for a boat ride, with one enclosed area in the shade. Most guests enjoyed beverages (beer, wine, sodas) at your own expense. After returning to land, we crossed St. Charles Bridge, with more history explained by guide. Went to Jewish quarter where a couple synagogues were pointed out, as well as the cemetery. Then on to Old Town Square for viewing of the clock. More buildings were pointed out, but once again, if you want to tour the insides of any of these landmarks, expect to return later. Leader spoke a lot, with some personalization and editorializing. He seemed knowledgeable. The following day, I saw another tour guide reading a script to her tour, so I felt lucky that at least our guide was able to spew out names and dates without having to read it as we toured.

Trip Worth Taking to see Prague

Lance did a great job of showing and explaining each site. We were all impressed with his knowledge and the sheer amount of sites we were exposed to. A lot of walking , lunch was delicious, more walking, the boat trip was a good break and then more walking- fantastic trip to see everything

Informative and fun

Barbara gave a great tour. Lots of local history not easily found in books. Kept a group of 22 tourists of widely varying ages and backgrounds together and interested. This is a strictly walking tour ending in Old town. Was a little over 4 miles, with plenty of breaks along the way. Would recommend it to family and friends planning a trip to Prague.

Boat ride is the...

Boat ride is the highlight because the view and sights are beautiful and more relaxing. I wish that it could be done in the evening to appreciate some lights to make it more romantic and relaxing as well.

Excellent Overview of Prague

This tour was an outstanding overview of Prague’s sites. Though the tour didn’t include building interiors, we did get a thorough rundown of the history and architecture of the buildings. Barbara, our guide, spoke with clarity and authority on the multi-faceted aspects of Czech history and culture. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and the relaxing boat trip. A fabulous tour!

Amazing sites, beautiful architecture

I really enjoyed the whole experience!!! Our guide, Eva, was so nice and very knowledgeable!!! I left a little early to see the Rammstein concert, I wish I could of stayed longer.

Wonderful experience

This was a great introduction to Prague. The guide Eva was well versed in the many places visited during the tour. Lunch was a great experience as well as the boat ride on the river. Eva was great about answering questions and making the tour as comfortable and fun as possible.

Prague walking and standing tour

We had to stand and wait 30 minutes for late arrivals. The chosen locations for the tour were good. I think the tour guide Eva should be made aware that too much information is just as bad as too little! There was far too much time spent standing receiving very detailed information. Lunch was as expected ( good) and the boat trip a relaxing interlude. Maybe 4 hours for this tour would be a more appropriate timing.

Wonderful all inclusive tour!

The tour was just amazing! The guide Kate provided us with all the information about Prague's history and its legends, was full of positive energy throughout the day and although the tour itself was exhausting, in the end I was super happy to be a part of it! Thanks a lot! :)
