3 Hour Canoe Tour in Prague Centre

Patient, enthusiastic guide!

Wonderful time canoeing! My friend and I accidentally showed up 20 minutes late because we weren't familiar with the ferry schedule (instructions were sent in an email but we didn't see the email) - however, we called to explain that we would be late, and our guide waited for us. Our guide was patient, funny, and enthusiastic about the tour, involving personal stories about his family to better explain Czech history and culture. My friend and I were pretty bad at canoeing yet our guide was patient and helpful. He also brought his dog, who is adorable. Unfortunately I didn't think to bring additional CZK, otherwise I would have given a generous tip.

One of a kind Prague experience

If you’re looking for an off the beaten path activity this is it! We were staying in the city square area and took the tram and then the tiny city River ferry to the meet up location. Getting there was part of the fun and easy using google maps. Jiri and his dog Bichon have a wonderful place on an island in the river you’d never see unless you’re looking for it. We had a group of 11 and it was a great size, 2 people per canoe and then Jiri on his boat. The paddling was not hard and he gives great instructions. You’ll get a little bit wet, more just occasional splashes but wear something that can dry quickly, and also flip flops if you have them. The two rapids weren’t available the day we went due to some flooding but it still was fantastic. He gives you water, dry bags and also takes lots of photos that he sends right away. I was a little unsure due to the unseasonably cool day but it turned out to be ideal conditions. We all loved it!

Great kayak trip with Jiri, a nice and knowledgeable guide. Easy to book and received clear instructions re how to get to the island which was easy by tram and boat. Would do and book again

Best tour in Prague

Brilliant morning out with Juri who is a fantastic story teller and a true river guide. The gear is excellent and it's easy to see safety is number one, with fun a close 2nd! It was my partners birthday and she loved it.

Nice balance of sightseeing and paddling

Perfect activity if you dont like traditional sightseeing tours because of endless talking of the guide and 2 hours of doing nothing. Nice view on the greatest attractions of Prague while having something to do (paddling). Tourguide is very friendly and stops occasionaly to provide you with facts about the city but doesnt talk too long. Nice experience would do again.

Great group activity

Perfect activity for groups. We were 17 people. Most of us had been to Prague before but this was a much better way to se the city. So much fun to se the historical sites from a whole new perspective while being active and using our bodies (not difficult though, everyone could do it). Great guide telling us about the city while making sure we all were safe on the river.

Awesome kayaking with Vlad

It was an awesome experience :). I really liked how our tour was organized. The place was easy to find and we started on time. The scenerie was really cool and our guide Vlad did a very good job in teaching us kayaking. He is a very cool and chill guy. I liked how he navigated us over the river. Also, during the kayaking we made short breaks, so it was not too exhausting and we learned some interesting facts about Prag from Vlad. During the tour he also made some cool pictures so we could really focus on the kayaking experience and enjoy Prag from a different perspective.

Recommended leisurely kayak tour

Brilliant tour. Jiri was friendly and knowledgeable. Would have been good to go over 2nd rapids but that was totally down to river levels. Would definitely recommend but this is a leisurely tour so don’t expect that you have to be super fit or strong. Jiri also provided some nice pictures too.

Amazing alternative to classic sight seeing

Super nice tour with very interesting stories of an actual Prague tour guide. We learned a lot of the living of citizens after World War I and II, during communism, and what has changed after the fall of the iron curtain. The canoe handing was a lot of fun and absolutely manageable, even if you have never canoed before. Very nice perspective from the river. Very recommendable!

Prague from the vantage of Vltava is something else. Beautiful! This was my first time paddling & I was paired with another solo traveller who had some past experience with canoes. Our humble & good natured guide & companion for the tour was Vaqo, who made sure we were all comfortable & that our safety was taken care of. He shared many a local lore about sights on the way that you won’t find in any guide books. He even took our pics and shared over WhatsApp/email later. Loved it! I will highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Praha!

Do this if it's the only thing you do in Prague!

Great trip. Fun activity to do, especially if you want to see Prague away from the other tourists! Great experience going under the Charles Bridge and learning about some of the history of the city. Jiri was a great guide, very chilled. Would definitely recommend this trip.

The guide provided all safety equipment, water and sunscreen to make sure we were safe on the water. We stopped a few times for a Prague history dump, and even got to jump out and swim in the water for a bit! 100% recommend to anyone wanting to see Prague from a different perspective (from the water). The guide also took photos for us with his own device and sent them afterward!

Had a very fun time! It was fun getting to see Prague from a different perspective. Please note that the company has you meet on an island and there is a very short ferry that is required to get you there. All part of the fun experience.

Exciting trip

I recently went on a 3-hour canoe tour in Prague Centre and had an amazing time! The tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly, providing interesting information about the city's history and landmarks along the way. Solo/Travel/Different

A fantastic idea if you crave something different and cool. If you have time, I highly recommend this attraction the guide Pavel is friendly and informational. The tour also ends right outside Prague castle so it is a great starting point to plan your day out!

Don’t miss Prague from the river!

A great 3 hrs on the water, crossing 2 wires , enjoying some quiet water and visiting Little Venice. Jury gave us terrific, hand experience of living under Communism as. Teenager and generally, growing up in Poland over many turbulent years. We got a completely different view of Prague from the water which made my time here.

Amazing time on the river

Highly recommended!! Very fun and exciting tour with a very friendly host. Got a chance to look through the cities from different angles and swim in the river (so refreshing in the hot summer days!) I don't have much experience canoeing but can pick it up really quickly with the help of the guide as well.

Very good experience for a nice price!

Our host was the star of the day. Very clear and professional, who told us interesting things about Prague. We had perfect weather, and our day was amazing. Great value for your money, as the tour is not that expensive and is a perfect length. Our host also took some photos of us and helped us with everything we needed. He even sent us the pictures afterwards. He really went the extra mile for us and made the experience that much better. If you are in Prague, we highly recommend this on a day with good weather.

Fun change of pace

The tour was fun - especially going down the spillways. It’s a nice way to see some of the popular sights in the city. You also get a different perspective viewing things from the river.

Lots of fun

This was an amazing experience and a great way to see some of the best sights in Prague. The tour guide was excellent and I felt so welcome by the tour operator. Going down the rapids was great fun. The whole tour was operated very well, we had dry bags for valuables and the tour guide took at larger items on his engine boat. The guide also took photos of us along the way to send us so we can remember our trip without the risk of our phones falling in the water! I would highly recommend the trip, it’s definitely a highlight of my time in Prague.

Fantastic start of our Prague trip!

Super easy to get to the island meeting place by bus and a 2-minute ferry ride. There we met Jiri the tour guide who was a real character. He started the trip with a friendly safety talk and explained exactly how everything would work and answered all questions. Then we all changed into bathing suits in the changing tents. They also sold drinks there if you needed them. The 3-hour leisurely trip was perfect length with plenty of planned pauses for all the canoes to gather by the guide boat to listen to interesting stories about the sites we were seeing. Jiri offered the perfect blend of history, humor and tips. Jiri is a total pro and made this trip highly memorable. And the Rapids were a lot of fun too. Easy for beginners. And Jiri took photos throughout the entire trip so we could just relax and enjoy then dropped us off at the Charle's Bridge. Highly Reccomended!

Unreal!

Amazing experience! Me and my friend booked this and were slightly apprehensive as neither of us can swim nor have we ever canooed. Filip, our guide, was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the city of Prague and taught us a lot about the history and culture of the city. Would very much recommend. Also, as a girl with lash and hair extensions, I was very worried about falling in and getting wet but honestly it’s fine. Don’t give it a second thought and book this experience!!

The only way to discover the city of prague!

It was a really nice experience! We were looking for a different way to explore the city of prague. According to us this should be the only way! The canoe trip started off very relaxed. While getting everything ready and listening to the safety debrief we could enjoy a lovely beer. Once we boarded our canoes it was a very easy and nice trip. The rapids made the canoeing very fun! It is a perfect activity for nice weather. We loved hearing al the history of prague from jirri. He even told us his own experiences of living in prague. It was a truly nice and insightful experience! 10/10 would recommend it to everyone!
