It was really a Nice day, well organised and beautiful landscapes, the guide Vojta was so funny, professional and giving us a lot of interesting informations on the history and on the places, the plus was when he played the guitare for our group, I will recommand this day tour without hesitation. Super fun day and amazing guide.

Beautiful scenery, great experience!

Highly recommended- this was an amazing way to explore this beautiful area! We visited 3 separate areas, including the location of a medieval fortress built on top of adjacent limestone towers and a secluded river canyon. Between the 2nd and 3rd location, we stopped for a delicious traditional lunch at an historic guesthouse currently operated by a mother-daughter duo. Vojta, our guide, told us all about the history and significance of the places we visited; he’s also an excellent guitarist and singer, and he played a few songs for us during our canyon boat ride! Bring your hiking boots and dress in layers so you’ll be comfortable while hiking and also at the top of hills. The longest hike was maybe 3 miles round trip, so you don’t need to bring much else.

A great outing

Visiting Prague from the US, we were looking to experience the Czech countryside. This trip more than met our expectations. Our guide Honza was excellent. His breadth of knowledge is great, and he was enthusiastic and patient answering questions. He was also very encouraging for those of us who found the hikes a little challenging. Lunch was great. Overall the outing was outstanding and is highly recommended.

It was an amaaazing trip with a group of international travellers and we all jelled l well instantly. I totally recommend this tour to all . Our guide Vojta was excellent, patient, active, he answered all our queries and he knows the region and its history so well . Trip plan was laid out well in sequence and was so much fun !

Vojta is the GREATEST guide in Central Europe!

My wife and I had the pleasure of joining our guide Vojta to see the beautiful parks. He does it all, he drove there and back, took outstanding photos, gave us good insights into the places that we saw and.... he carried his guitar up and down one of the hikes and serenaded us with beautiful playing and signing as we were on the boat portion of the excursion. Ask for Vojta!

Great day out in nature

Ondrej was a great guide. I went on this trip at the end of March. It was my best day out during my short stay in Prague. If you like being in nature and an easy hike, go for it! Ondrej was also entertaining, organised and knew some good jokes. Thanks for a great day out!

One of the best trips we have been on

All aspects of the tour were excellent from start to finish. The scenery was breathtaking. The guide was very well informed and the group we were with all lovely.

Amazing hike with amazing views!

Long day but lovely experience with amazing views . Our guide Honza was very friendly,helpful and informative. We shared the day with a lovely group of people, including an incredible lady who is nearly ninety years old and joined us on all the very challenging steep hikes.You do need to have a good level of fitness to make the last 2 hikes and remember you will need to bring your passport to enter the German border.Would definitely recommend this trip.

It was a great day in the nature.

Great guide. Hozar is knowledgeable, kind, and professional. The tour happened as expected. I recommend this activity, but make sure you have knees strong enough for the last climb from the gorge.

I really enjoyed the whole experience!!! Honza was extremely nice and very knowledgeable on history and each location! I was really feeling it on the last climb and Honza stayed back to check on me. I learned so much fascinating history. A+++ I would highly recommend this experience

Not To Be Missed

This tour is a total winner. A great day trip from Prague. Three stops, Bohemian Switzerland National Park, with its amazing rock formations, a forest that has been burned out, (I know sounds strange, but interesting), and hike down to an amazing gorge where a comical park guide takes you on a boat ride. All of it is spectacular. I had a bit of a cold so the hiking was at times a challenge for me, but they could not have been more patient. Lunch at a local restaurant was enjoyable, making it a wonderful day. A full day, great value, accommodating and knowledgeable tour guide. Just book it and enjoy!

Stunning scenery

What an amazing day. Great communication from Filip about where to meet and time of pick up. 2hr drive to get into Germany. Van was comfortable, 7 on our trip. Plenty of toilet stop opportunities. Honza was great at answering any questions, was very knowledgeable about the various rock formations and history. Good driver on the major highways but also negotiating Prague peak traffic. The views at Bastei bridge were stunning, Honza was good at taking our photos too, to get the best shots. The hike to pravcicka gate is all up hill and with steps, about 45 min one way. Not for those really unfit. The boat ride in Edmund gorge is very tranquil, but again very steep to get down and over 200 steps to go down and return up. Lunch in Mezna was lovely, tradional meal. Soup and then a main. Thankyou for a fabulous day. Also was a plus, wet and cold in Prague, but was clear and fine at the National Parks. Only got drizzle again, when we returned to Prague.

Disappointing!

We were stuck in the last/back seats in a small passeger van which the window rattled, thought it might fall out. Could not hear the guide speak on the long trip up to the location. We were required to keep these seats for the entire 10 hour journey. Extremely frustrating as I was in the middle back seat and did not really see anything on the long driving journey. Plus could not hear anything. Never again!

Bohemian Saxony tour from Prague

Well organized small (5-7) group tour. Beautiful scenery. Modest exertion level. Beautiful scenery giving an excellent view of Bohemia and the opportunity to enjoy local foods.

This Tour is a Must!

Terrific day trip to three parks. I was skeptical about hiking thru the park that had suffered an extensive forest fire, however, the sun glistening on the charred trees had a beauty of its own. Each of the parks is stunning in its own way. At our first stop, we arrived as the park was opening, and virtually had the place to ourselves, what a nice break after the crowds of Prague! Parts of the walks are rigorous, but you can go at your own pace. I'm over 70 and had no problem. My sister was suffering from a wicked head cold and sore throat, but she still managed to finish 2 of the hikes and over half of the third going at her own pace. The tour guide was great, fluent in English, very informative, and very friendly. Equally important he was a good driver! We were picked up at our hotel at the appointed time and dropped off there at the end of the tour. The provided lunch was also outstanding. This trip was well worth the price. Don't miss it!

Great day in the countryside

Had a fabulous day trip with Ondra as our guide. Lunch was delicious. The scenery was stunning -- we were so happy for a day out of the city. Make sure you read the description and that you come prepared for a hike, with some hills and stairs. We had an amazing time and will be recommending to friends!

Not to be missed!

This as a great hiking tour! Me and my friend are in our 60's and my friend is not in the best shape. We were a little worried if this would be to much walking up stairs. My friend struggled a little with the pace since the rest of the group were much younger than us but we did it. After its all said and done, we were both very happy we did it. It was defiantly worth the effort.

Action packed, well-managed & cost-effective

A wonderful day spend covering atleast three different picturesque locations with hiking experiences. Time was well managed by the energized tour guides. It is an experience worth repeating. You just have to mindful of maintaining the energy level throughout the tour. It involves close to 8+km of hiking through some of the medium steep levels of slopes and steps. Just carry enough water and keep pumping energy. This tour is not for those who are not used to walking or hiking. While the tour guides did an amazing job managing the time, it would be better if they are reduce the speed of hiking - not everyone can match the speed at which they can move because they have a daily practice. Overall - I recommend the tour and would be happy to go with the same guides to a different destination next time.

We had Ondrej as our guide. Very punctual and informative. Great day tour for those who are only staying for short stay in Prague. Most memorable is definitely to see the aftermath of the forest fire back in 2023. There were a lot of people due to Easter otherwise it was great.

Conquering the next challenge with Ondrej!

Had the best experience with Ondrej, our tour guide. He kept in contact with us before the trip, answered all of our questions, drove us around safely. He’s got a wealth of knowledge and was witty. He guided us to spots that were not completely crowded with other groups. He knew the ins and outs and made the trek so much fun and interactive. He also took great photos of us. It was a long day but never once did his energy waiver. It truly was the perfect day.

Beautiful views, but many stairs

It was a very active day. Our guide was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. (He was also a very good driver) This type of tour is NOT good for someone with knee problems as myself. Many stairs. So many I was forced to miss out on half the experience. I did get great photos. It was a nice-in-a-lifetime trip for me!

Great Cave Scrambles and Spectacular Views!

Ondre was an excellent host and was very good at communicating the history of the Bohemians and their relationships with the German culture throughout the trip. The hike was very unique with some cave scrambling opportunities that we all took advantage of…..Very unique with a nice elevation change at the end. The views were spectacular (we had beautiful, clear, sunny day which helped). We would recommend this to friends or family. It was too early in the season to do the boat portion but still a rewarding excursion.

A great trip!

We took a day trip outside of Prague to hrsenko. Andrey picked us and brought us back. He handed out soft drinks and snacks and at noon took us to a local restaurant. A stunningly beautiful restaurant with an amazing view. The route was extremely enjoyable and amazing in its beauty. One of the best days of our vacation! Full value for the price! do not miss!

Unforgettable hike Prague/Germany

Filip and John were fantastic guides! Explained the trip plan and even history really well during the car ride to Bastei -which was an absolutely beautiful hike. We could have never gotten there and had that amazing experience of hiking in Prague and Germany without them. Much recommended!

Awesome day outside the city

Our family had been traveling from city to city in Europe and our kids desperately needed some outside time away from the city. We booked this tour last minute and didn’t really know what to expect. The hike was very easy. My kids (8 and 12) were able to do it with no issues whatsoever. We really enjoyed getting out of the city and seeing sights so beautiful they need to be seen to be believed. Our guide Vojta, was super cool and fun! He had interesting stories and made the tour excellent. Thank you very much! Highly recommend.

Our tour guide Vojta was well informed, very personable, and made the day a whole lot of fun!! He was also our driver and we felt very safe in his hands. He was happy to take all our photos for us.....and did an awesome job! The rock formations are certainly a sight to be seen! The hike through Saxon Switzerland was amazing and so nice to be out in the wilderness experiencing it's beauty and the snow covered ground! We had an amazing day and would highly recommend this tour to everyone, especially if you can have Vojta as your tour guide!! The hotel pick up and drop off certainly added to the value of the tour.

We had an amazing time! Vojta was our tour guide and he was genuinely such a nice and interesting guy. After a relaxing walk through Tisa Rocks labyrinth we stopped by a lovely authentic Czech restaurant for a beer and good food. 😋🍺

Winter wonderland

We really enjoyed the beautiful sights we saw! We went to the Saxon national park and then went on a gorgeous winter hike in Tiske steny. We went in November so it was around 35-40F. Our tour guide Vojta was awesome and so fun!!

Perfect day tour away from Prague city

This tour was a fantastic experience. Vojta is a very good guide. He is experienced to guide tourists who want to visit these places. It was like going out with a good friend. His estimation of time was perfect and allows for enough breaks for restroom and coffee stops. Lunch was also nice with local food, and the restaurant accommodated for food intolerances. Breathtaking views. Excellent experience

We booked this trip last minute and apparently were the only ones there. We also didn’t even have appropriate hiking shoes. However, our guide, Ondrej, not only still gave us an amazing private tour, but also was able to help us get shoes and be comfortable. He contacted us the night before with very helpful instructions. He picked us up directly from our Airbnb. Everything went very smoothly. The sites we visited were absolutely breathtaking! Ondrej was so good about telling us the historic facts, knowing the best spots to see and take the best pictures for us! The tour involved a couple moderately strenuous hikes, but they were definitely worth it! Ondrej was able to drop us off closer on the trail than where you would otherwise be dropped off by a bus. That shaved off some good distance and time. For lunch we stopped at a small local village restaurant with delicious traditional Check food. The exact experience we were looking for! We would highly recommend this tour. The sites are worth seeing! The price is very fair considering the number of sites visited, time savings, hassle free transportation, and local knowledge!

Bohemian Walk Tour

I was a bit worried about doing this trip on a rainy day. Well even with the rain this tour was awesome. Of course we had the best tour guide Vojta. He was amazing, personable and a pleasure to be with on a two hour trip on the road. Making the climb up to the top of the mountains is worth every step you take because at the top the views are breathtaking. Please choose Bohemian Walks an enjoy an unforgettable tour!

Great Tour, Great Atmosphere, & Great Guide

Vojta was our tour guide and he was the best guide that we’ve ever had and we travel and use Viator all the time. Vojta was extremely knowledgeable, very considerate, and made sure everyone was comfortable and had everything they need. Make sure you request him if you’re going on this tour. This tour is amazing and you definitely need your hiking shoes on, especially if you are not used to hiking uphill.

Excellent!

Vojta was an excellent guide, and everything was as advertised. The lunch food was exceptional. A small a word of warning that almost all of the hiking on this trip is up and down inclines (some of them fairly steep), so if you're mobility challenged, be prepared.

Perfect hike

Amazing experience. Our guide vojta was very informative and gave us a detailed tour. The lunch was delicious local food. It was overall a very good experience. Wear sport shoes as you will have to walk quite a lot but it will all be worth the effort. Not suitable for people with health issues. Both the places had splendid view. Will definitely recommend.

Bohemian Switzerland Beauty

This tour is breathtakingly beautiful. It gives you a day outside of the busy city of Prague to enjoy nature. Our tour guide, Vojta, was wonderful. He is very knowledgeable about all the places we visited and also answered any other questions we had regarding Prague and Czech Republic. The hikes were definitely not easy with a good bit of incline and stairs to endure! All in all, we are so glad we took this trip to see another amazing part of Czech Republic.

A fantastic trip

This trip was far more than we had hoped for. A really beautiful trip to 3 different lokations. There was a really great dinner at a lokal family restaurant, and it was delicious. The best of the trip was the little boatride. It was one of a kind experience, and just really funny and beautiful. You will hike a lot, so you need to be prepared for that, but it was more than worth it. Furthermore it was a funny, kind and great guide. So we will really recommend this trip to others who would like to experience the natur of the Czech Rublic, because it was definitely worth the money.
