Fun trip with great value!

Crew and ship was great! Food was tasty and plentiful, the crew made sure we always had a cold drink in our hands. We fed the puffer fish some leftovers right off the side of the boat! Overall a great time for all of us.

Perfect 10 - Beautiful, fun sunset boat ride

We had an absolute blast. Beautiful clean boat, big bottomless drinks, absolutely AMAZING food (I mean it - the best we had all week was served aboard this boat), fun music, beautiful views, snorkling, and a really nice, fun crew of 3 professionals. We truly had a perfect time - 10 out of 10!

We had a great experience!! It was 9 of us including 3 kids. We snorkeled, relaxed, enjoyed a sunset dinner and even saw dolphins. Would book again in the future.

Fun day on the water

A beautiful day at sea with the captain, Luis and Valentina. The yacht is a refurbished classic with excellent food and good assortment of drinks at the bar. Excellent day to travel to hidden beaches to the north.

Great day out on the water

Plenty of room for our group of 9 . Food was excellent. Staff was very accommodating and fun . The fish are not abundant in the snorkeling area . It was still a beautiful place to swim and paddleboard . I would recommend the boat to have towels accessible for every person . We paid a lot of money and would have appreciated a towel after our water time . Also , we were not offered the opportunity to fish . We did ask upon boarding the boat were never given the option during the trip . All in all it was a very enjoyable day but could use a few small improvements to make it 5 star .

The best Crew for the best day!

We had the very best day with Byron, Christian, and Gilbert. Caught two fish that they cooked and added to the already fantastic meal! They even accommodated our food allergies. Great drinks, music, and fun. We had plenty of time to fish, relax, play in the water, and enjoy the sunset. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and interesting to talk to. Highly recommend this company and especially this crew! Ask for them for your next charter, I know we will!!

Outstanding sunset cruise experience

We booked this for a family vacation, with participants between the ages of 7 and 73. From the moment we stepped on the boat, the crew was attentive to our every need. The food and bar was great. But, more importantly, the crew clearly new the area and how best to maximize our snorkeling, touring, and sunset experience on what turned out to be a very windy day. Definitely a highlight of our trip.

Fabulous Private Boat Ride

We had the most amazing morning with Gilbert, Byron, and Christian! They were so attentive and helpful and made our private boat ride wonderful! We fished, snorkeled, floated on the lily pad, paddle boarded and cruised! The crew served the fish we caught and all of the food was outstanding! This was the highlight of our trip! They also arranged transportation to/from our hotel! We will definitely book next time!

Private day at sea

We had a wonderful experience celebrating our anniversary. The crew was very happy, helpful, and accommodating to our every need. We booked a full day and so glad we did! It was such a relaxing day of swimming, snorkeling and paddle boarding to a remote beach. The food the crew cooked was amazing! One of the best vacation experiences we’ve had! So much better having a boat to yourself than being crammed in with 99 strangers just to see sunset. Check in process at the marina was easy. Just a short drive from Tamarindo. Thanks to the Lupe Blu crew for making our anniversary so special!

We had an amazing excursion on the Lupo Blue with Byron, Chris, and Gilbert. The crew was very friendly, courteous, and fun. Experiencing Costa Rica from the ocean is an experience not to be missed. Booking a private charter vs a crowded, group boat is worth every penny with the extra attention and control over the day. We can’t recommend the Ocean Life tour highly enough and we also can’t wait to visit Playa Flamingo again for our next adventure!!

Private fishing trip to remember

We charted the yacht in the morning to take 8 of us out fishing and snorkeling. Everything was looked after, we were picked up first thing in the morning at our hotel and transported to the marina in Flamingo. The transportation was very comfortable and spacious. Once we got to the yacht the staff introduced themselves and helped us board and we were on our way. The boat was lovely, everything you would want for a comfortable cruise. Gilbert was our host and catered to our needs, we went for lack of nothing. Our Captain, Byron, found a great spot to fish and in no time at all we had a tuna on one of the lines. Jonathan, the third member of the crew, very efficiently helped us get the fish reeling in and on the boat for pictures. After fishing the Captain took us to a lovely beach to snorkel and swim while the crew made us lunch. I cannot say enough about the lunch the crew served us, fabulous. They made sushi with the black tuna and grilled jack medallions with our catch and served it along with the rest of the delicious lunch. I would highly recommend chartering this boat if you have a group of people, you will not be disappointed. Byron, Gilbert and Jonathan, the crew, were amazing and made our boat tour a morning to remember. Thanks guys. Hope to do this again ❤️

Perfect day on the water

We had a group of family and friends on a half day private fishing and snorkelling tour. Caught two fish and the crew cooked them for us for lunch, served with an amazing spread. The crew was very accommodating.

Perfect Day on the Ocean

Incredible day on the water! The crew were amazing and so friendly, food was divine, and we even got to watch 6 whales spouting right at sunset. It was very nice to have the whole boat to ourselves as well. The entire day was dreamy. Huge thank you to the crew who became our friends and treated us so well. Pura vida! Fabulous day on the ocean

My entire family had the most amazing afternoon on the ocean thanks to Ocean Life Costa Rica. Byron, Hazel and David were all incredible and added so much energy to our charter. The trip out was filled with good music, refreshing drinks and constant attentiveness by the captain and crew. They brought out paddle boards, pool noodles and a lounge raft so that everyone could enjoy the ocean. The food that Hazel made was absolutely delicious (we all went back for seconds). We even jumped off the boat a few times! On the ride in, we got the most gorgeous view of the sunset. Overall, I can easily say that we were all sad that the day ended. I would recommend this boat and crew a million times over!

Pleasurable sunset cruise

Enjoyed every aspect of the cruise. Crew were great making sure we were well taken care of and involving everyone including a twelve year old boy. Food was very tasty and plentiful plus they made sure our glasses were never empty. This was our second time on this cruise and would highly recommend it. I plan on using them again when my family arrives.

An excellent private water excursion on private cruiser

Food was amazing! Staff was really friendly and attentive! We saw dolphins and whales. Snorkeling was fun but visibility not good but that can’t be fixed. The water toys were super fun!

Great time on the water

Awesome experience! The crew, Alphonse, Byron and ‘el Capitan mad us feel like family. Food and drinks were phenomenal. Even though it rained much of the time the entire group of 9 had a great time. This was the highlight of our entire trip. Strongly recommend chartering with Ocean Cruises!!

Awesome day on the water with ocean life charters !

We had the best day with Ocean Life Charters!! From the moment we stepped on the boat until stepping back off onto the pier after sunset the crew made us feel so welcome and comfortable!! They took us to a private beach with snorkeling near by and a private beach teeming with hermit crabs! We never felt rushed and stayed as long as our heart desired! Lunch made on the boat was fantastic! Drinks were plentiful with the crew always asking if we needed another!! Even though we already had a ton of fun , they asked if we would like to do some deep-sea fishing closer to sunset, and we caught two beautiful fish that the boys reeled in thanks to the expertise of the crew. On the way back to the pier we saw a string of dolphins put on a show for us while we witnessed a gorgeous sunset !! Thank you for a wonderful day from a family of 12 ranging from grandparents all the way down to teenagers!!!

Great afternoon of music, food and fun!

The whole day was fantastic! Excellent fishing, food and fun! Cannot recommend this enough. Money well-spent. There were 5 of us, 3 teen boys and 2 Moms. So much fun.

Fantastic experience all around. The crew was very welcoming (shoutout Pablo) and we all really enjoyed our time. The drinks were refreshing and the food was delectable. The snorkeling/paddle boarding was also really fun, and it helped us immerse ourselves in the surrounding environment even further. If you are coming to Costa Rica with a group of friends/family, I highly recommend that you take this experience on.

Roosterfish fun!

Excellent chartered trip. We wanted to catch a roosterfish and our guides put us on one within the first hour. The people at Ocean Life are fantastic and Valentina was wonderful to work with putting this excursion together. We enjoyed the snorkeling, the fishing and the company of our guides. The guides were funny and knowledgeable of of their area. We highly recommend using Ocean Life.

Beautiful morning on the water

Luis and his crew took us over to Honeymoon beach in the Lupo Azul, a big fishing boat equipped with a beautiful kitchen and cabin. we caught a couple of skipjack along the way and had fresh fish tacos with guacamole for lunch after snorkeling at the beach. Pretty much a perfect morning. The crew at Ocean Life is the best around - super friendly and experienced, very safe, and they speak perfect English in case you don’t happen to speak Spanish. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

Best part of our Costa Rica trip!

So much fun! Really didn’t know what to expect but I’m so glad we chose this group. First class service from start to finish from Pablo, Byron and Luis. Wind was very rough but the crew still managed to get us on some fish. All of us caught a snapper and the chef cooked it for us while we snorkeled. Absolutely amazing! My kids don’t typically each much seafood but they took it down quick! That was followed up with grilled shrimp and steak kabobs along with guacamole and salsa. Great food, great drinks, great guided snorkel tour. Next time we are in Costa Rica this will definitely be in our plans.

Amazing!

This was our favorite experience in Costa Rica! We enjoyed the views on the ride out to the cove and our girls enjoyed snorkeling, paddle boarding, and sliding on the inflatable water mat. Watching the sun set on the way back in was the perfect ending to the trip. Food and drinks were delicious and the crew was amazing!

Llegamos a ellos por el hotel pasatiempo, nos esperaron a horario, la embarcación muy cómoda , nos atendieron muy bien, bebidas frutas , y pescaaaaa!! Muy contentos

100% recomendado, fuimos a un tour en la Lupo(nombre de la embarcación)con mi familia y amigos, todo fue impecable desde la tripulación, la limpieza, las bebidas y la comida de chuparse los dedos y variada . Hemos hecho snorkeling con el marinero que nos guió para ver hermosos peces ,también tienen un inflable del cual los niños y no tan niños disfrutaron muchísimo, el atardecer fue la cereza en el pastel , con un delicioso y refrescante spritz (cóctel)preparado por Pablo un marinero super atento y servicial. Volvería a repetir el tour sin duda
