Im glad I made the decision of booking with Hiking Guanacaste , give yourself the opportunity to make what could be one of the best experience-memories that one can enjoy, everything was very organized and our tour guide was the most pleasant and knowledgeable friend we have made on this trip Amazing views and adventure along the way with a great guide that explains all the nature, terrain and locations that makes this hiking experience unique! 5 Star and had us jumping for joy

My three kids and I were lucky enough to get Hernan as our guide for this tour and we knew we had the best guide possible. He taught us about the area, the nature, traditions and took excellent care. The hike, two waterfalls (both the big one and the small one) were out of this world. The jungle experience was followed by a wonderful lunch and then the relaxing volcanic mud bath and hot springs which was pure heaven. Hernan went out of his was to surprise my boys with. Bonus experience at the end which I won’t name because then everyone will want the same but just know he is the absolute best of what already is a tremendous excursion. Lastly, our driver Jose was a joy as well. On time, friendly, made every effort to ensure our comfort, patiently waited for us from stop to stop and extended total and complete professionalism. Combined this day was one for the books and I give these guys and this tour my highest recommendation possible. Thanks again, Dan

Super Amazing Tour!

The tour I did with Hiking Guanacaste was absolutely incredible. The guide was incredibly professional and had an extensive knowledge of the local area, the birds, wildlife, and breathtaking landscapes. It was truly an unforgettable experience. I would recommend this tour company to anyone with my eyes closed. They are one of the most professional and knowledgeable tour operators I have ever encountered. It was the adventure of a lifetime!

Relaxing trail walks

I have to say that I have had 2 fabulous experiences with the local guide Hernan Chavez, he has been spectacular, we did the hiking in Rio celeste waterfall and also to the Leona waterfall, incredible places. Hernan is passionate about hiking, very knowledgeable and informative about the area and its vegetation and all the history that surrounds those places, without a doubt Hernan made our days much more interesting and pleasant. Amazing waterfall hike with a great tourist guide

We went with jose down to la leona waterfall, it has been one of the best experiences i’ve had on a trip. Jose is very knowledgeable on tourism and you can talk to him about any topic. The trip itself was amazing, he is bilingual in both english and spanish, the waterfall is a sight to be seen i would really recommend it. After the waterfall hike, we went to a mud bath/thermal pool spa and it was amazing and very relaxing as well. I would definitely recommend jose and his driver.

It was a great experience to know that side of Guanacaste. The guides were obviously knowledgeable, they explained everything super naturally and with great knowledge. The transportation was super fast and comfortable. The food is super ethical and delicious. 100% Recommends.
