Canopy Tour In Tamarindo Beach

Slightly terrifying but thrilling and fun

I wasn't sure I was going to be able to do this, nor was my husband (who is afraid of heights) or my son (not much of a risk taker), but I think we all gained confidence just by seeing how prepared, organized and competent our guides were. They made sure all the equipment fit correctly and worked. We were a group of 4 joined by another group of 14. Before each of the 9 zip lines, the guide checked our gear and repeated all the reminders.. for every single one of us. While we didn't see any wildlife, the experience was fun and views were beautiful. Our fearless daughter had no problem whatsover and would have done each of the lines upside down if given the chance! (They only let her go wild on the last line.)

Truly rustic above the canopies

We had a wonderful time zip lining! This was not your normal 'commercial" zip lining tour. This is a true above the jungle canopy, rustic Zipline! Fantastic and safe! The guides were phenomenal! Best ziplining experience that we have had! Thank you again! Pura Vida ✌️

Best Birthday Experience!

Came to celebrate both me and my dad's birthday and I've never zip lined before but wanted to do something unique and adventurous! Even though I was very nervous, the guides Giovanni and Stuart were amazing, making sure to carefully explain how to zipline, safety features and thorough with the instructions! They helped put me at ease and although the first cable was a little frightening at first, by the third one, I felt like I could've done it all day! We had another group join and everyone was so friendly and fun that it made the experience even more memorable! It was relaxing, exhilarating and beautiful all at the same time! Pick up from our hotel and back was prompt and our driver Raynor was so friendly and shared a lot of great info about Costa Rica! I highly recommend this tour! Combine it with the ATV if you can! I'm sad we didn't do that part! But highly recommend it! It really is Pura Vida!!

Must try tour!!

This zipline tour was amazing! The zip lines were very fun and the guides were kind and helpful! We also got to see howler monkeys and you could hear then the whole time which was cool. Definitely recommend this trip!

Zipline adventure

Excellent experience provided by the crew. They were very friendly and efficient. Travel to and from hotel was comfortable and we all had a wonderful time ziplining through the canopy

Great zipping!

Great zip lining experience. 9 lines. The guides were awesome. Highlight was watching the upside down zipping. Beautiful scenery if you could remember to look while sailing across the line.

Fun, well managed zip line adventure!

Very fun zip line excursion. Guides were great! Photos came out amazing! Van ride out and back from Tamarindo was very easy, comfortable and driver also pointed out interests along the way. Highly recommended!

We had an absolute blast on our canopy tour. They guys were extremely helpful and made the experience very fun and safe. Would do again and highly recommend.

Zip lining in the mountains!

Super fun experience! Approx 15 min car ride from hotel. Staff was kind, thorough, and friendly. Did 9 zip lines for 4 people fairly quickly, less than 1 hour. Total time with transportation approx 2 hours, which worked well for us. Recommend booking in AM to avoid afternoon heat. Felt very safe, staff did all of the work, no experience necessary.

Flying through the forest with a wonderful experience

Everyone was very professional. I'm terrified of heights, but so many precautions were taken that I felt safe the entire time. Even though I was freaking out on the first line, by the end of our time, I was having time of my life by the end. Our whole group loved it and we think it was a great value.

This was my first time zip lining. I’m scared of heights but this felt very safe and the staff were very reassuring. I would definitely recommend this activity.

Zip Line

The Black Stallion ranch and staff were great!! Very hospital and so gracious...aligned with Costa Rica! The zip line was fun and very safe. We could tell the staff was focused on safety for all. I would recommend this adventure if you're not able to make the trip and cost to the volcano areas where the jungle is denser and might have longer tour.

Excellent experience all around! The communication for the pickup time and location was very clear. The ranch was a beautiful oasis. Our Zipline guides were very friendly, fun and kept us feeling safe the whole time. Perfect memory to add to our family trip!

A perfect zip line experience

The ranch is beautiful, we got to sample some local fruits off the tree. The zip lining felt safe and was incredibly fun. The pickup was right on time and exactly where agreed upon. Thank you everyone for a wonderful adventure.

Zipline fun

This was our first time ziplining and it was a blast! The staff were there the whole way and very professional! Wanted to turn around and do it again! Beautiful views the whole way! So fun! We were 3 generations! It’s safe

Excellent experience with the crew as we had a whole family who had never ziplined before and the staff was amazing. Would absolutely recommend this excursion!

A total blast

If you want an experience for you & you family, take this trip. 9 zip lines of different lengths & speeds. One of them was 600 meters & on another we actually went upside down. Very cool!! My wife & I were grouped with some other adults & a family. We all had a blast. Make friends with the new people & jump right in. The guides are experts so nothing to worry about.

Fun ziplining with our large family

Had a wonderful experience! They were friendly and very patient with our large family of 7! Would highly recommend them to anyone and would definitely do it again!

Fun exciting zipline tour.

The friendliness and professionalism of the guides. The equipment and grounds were well kept. Being closer to Tamarindo than most of the others provided time option. Our host was enjoyable to talk to.

Had an amazing time with my two teenage children. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely go back.

Great tour company!

A must-do in Costa Rica, the zip line operators were very helpful and everyone traveled the 11 segments safely and without incident. A quick trip from a Tamarindo, Pinnios was an excellent tour operator for our party of 17.

Don’t go on this zipline tour.

This zip lining took way too long because there weee not enough guides. The nine platform course was in dry terrain without any lush scenery or water features. Definitely would not recommend.

Great fun

The tour was a bit daunting, but the guides were careful and considerate. The tour was breathtaking. I would highly recommend it.

Zip Line Fun

Great canopy tour. 45 min drive from Langosta. Driver was friendly and a good driver. The guides were fun and friendly. Not a lot of hiking to get to the zip lines and the views were amazing.

Fun canopy tour

We went in March, which is the dry season, so landscape was pretty brown. However the guides and Ziplining were excellent and we saw monkeys.

Shocking scam of a tour company

What is there to say about this tour.  I applied for the 12:30 tour not the 8 or 10 am tour.  Usually you with any tour you wouldn't be expected to meet 2 hours in advance but this is what they messaged with on the morning of the tour.  This message shows up at 7am. Anyhow I try and message back saying I am 30 mins late, and then they say sorry and also no refund, and no options.   This is the worst scam I have seen in an otherwise beautiful country.  Beware of these people as they will rip you off at the slightest chance.

Amazing!

What an amazing experience! The views and zip lining was an incredible experience but it was our tour guides that made it the most memorable. Hector and Eduardo aka King Kong and David such wonderful guys. I would say this is a must for anyone visiting Costa Rica.

<p>This was a fun tour. It went quick. I felt a little like they rushed us through it. There were a couple of breaks and areas where we could sit and take in the scene but they kept us moving pretty quickly. Saw some monkeys. There was a little monkey zoo at the bottom that was fun too.</p>
