Big Buddha tour!

I booked this the night before. The morning of at 7am someone sent me a WhatsApp message to confirm but said they didn't know what time we would be picked up. Around 9am we were told 11am. We waited downstairs for 15minutes before calling the WhatsApp number. We were told he'd arrive in 5 minutes. Our driver came at 11:40am. That was a bit of a bummer but the tour guide Kwan was very nice, helpful, informative, and professional. Our bus had A/C but not very cold. The Big Buddha was breathtaking! Everything there was lovely. Wat Chalong was stunning and peaceful all at the same time. The stop at Old Town was nice and had some good shopping and photo ops. I feel like our time was cut short because our driver was so late to pick us up and we felt very rushed. Would have loved more time to take pictures, shop, and enjoy the general atmosphere. The cashew factory was just ok. Mostly a stop for clean bathrooms and to get us to buy stuff. The lookout point seemed kind of a waste of time. It was explained that it was too hot to be there long. We kind of just walked to the edge to lookout while avoiding aggressive monkeys and take a few pics then back to the van. Driver and tour guide were super kind, friendly and pleasant. Bring your own water though. It's VERY hot and we were only offered one small bottle of water for the entire time we were out in humid 90 degree weather. Your shoulder and knees need to remain covered the entire time you're there. There are attendants that will blow a whistle to remind you to cover if you take your coverings off. You need the protection from the sun tho so it's best to keep it on.

Quick Stops

We booked this trip to see the main attractions within Phuket. Our guide was Lita, and she was amazing but sadly the majority of this tour was spent in the car driving from destination to destination. We felt very rushed throughout each stop and were given 30 minutes max to explore which in my opinion isn’t enough time.

Tour Guide Review - Sao

SAO took us on our tour of phu ket town and it was a great experience. It was a beautiful experience and SAO was very good at showing us around and providing details on the town. We visited Buddha as well and was amazing. Sao was very friendly and fun tour guide. I would definitely recommend her to others.

It was fine, as a transportation for different points, but the guide unfortunately didn’t have good English, so, anyone couldn’t understand anything about the story. Even tough that she couldn’t communicate with us, she always tries to give her best to us, being totally polite and helping with photos. I respect her job, but it’s important you don’t advertise that it’s a tour with English guide.

Half Day Fun Trip

The tour guide Ms. Rose and Mr. Berm were very friendly and very helpful. I took a half day city tour package and they managed the time well; even though it was 30-40 minutes a place.

Book it ! Worth every penny !

I fantastic tour, so many places visited. The Big Buddha was amazing the monks were welcoming, breathtaking views. The temples were stunning with plenty of time to explore them all. Our guide took us on a tour around one explaining every thing as we went. She was extremely helpful taking lots of photos for everyone . The viewpoint over new and old Phuket was stunning. We even saw monkeys. I got to try lots of different nuts at the cashew shop even that was interesting. Old town Phuket was a joy in its self, a collection of diverse architectural buildings painted in many different colours . All of this for less than £18 .. Absolute bargain! An excellent experience and travelling solo I felt this was a great way to see he city.

Seeing the streets of Phuket

We had a great time getting to know the history of Phuket. From the wonderful views of Karon to the busy streets of old town Phuket, my girlfriend and I felt truly welcomed in a city we were just getting to know. Our highlight obviously being in the presence of Big Buddha and learning about the Monks that helped shape Buddhism as we know it, I thank the city and the people for letting us know about it's culture. We would also like to give a 5/5 to both the driver and our tour guide they were excellent

Wonderful experience

It was our first time in Thailand and Sao made it a wonderful experience. Leng was very professional in driving and punctual. They both deserve a raise!

Very nice short tour

We really enjoyed the tour. The guide Ms.A was very kind and explained as much as possible for the sights. Big Buddha was impressive and the temple visit was very interesting.

Awesome tour heaps to see

Picked ip by guide Bella in air con van. Was a great day with all the sites being explained. Lots of local knowledge and skipped queues Bella was funny and happy to chat about anything. Highly recommend.

Guide threatened to charge us extra if we are late

The tour was fine. I didn’t like the fact that our guide was threatening us not to be late at the meeting points, because they claimed that the company will charge us extra… This is not a polite way to treat your customers. When you are on vacation, it is not a big deal to be few minutes late…

Good tour that visits all the major sights. I would have liked a little more information from the tour guide. Sometimes she didn't know how to answer the question. But basically it was great.

Quick Brief Phuket Tour

Nice tour if u dont know where to visit in Phuket and dont wanna plan everything. However, they drop u at the sights and u kinda figure out on ur own not so much information about history, and details that. Very friendly driver and guide. It was good and i would recommend.

Phuket half day tour

We had a great time on our half day tour of Phuket. Our guide, Pamika, was friendly and informative. My favourite was the visit to the Big Buddha statue. Overall a great short sampler tour of Phuket if you don’t have a lot of time and want to hit the major sites. Definitely would recommend this tour to others.

Nice crew and amazing location. Raboom is a nice guide and I really enjoyed his attitude, always proactive to take photos, to show a good spot and explanation about the temple. No complains at all. If i had a chance. I will do it again.

Travstore are terrific.

Really impressed with Travstore. Enjoyed our half day tour. Guide was great. Modern transportation. Very punctual. Also booked an airport transfer with Travstore following our trip to Phi Phi. Our ferry was 45 minutes late and my phone was out of charge so had no way to advise Travstore of our late arrival at Rassada Pier. Our driver Chay was waiting for us and did a terrific job making up time to get to the airport on time. Very professional service. I highly recommend this company.

Travstore Original Phuket Discovery Tour

This was a great day of seeing the temple way up on the mountain. The view was spectacular. We then went to a factory that processes cashews. We also saw the old Town of Phuket. And a great location up in the mountains that had a view of the city.
