An really enjoyable half day around Phuket

Had a great time on this tour. There were just the two of us so a private tour really. Tourist numbers are down in Thailand so it's not good news for the tour operators there. We were shown around by a young lady called Pat. We also had our own driver too. Pat was extremely knowledgeable and took us to temples, Phuket town and panoramic views over the island. We had a nice lunch too at a local restaurant. A thoroughly enjoyable day. Thank you

Amazing tour

Went today and was really nice! Pat was a very great guide and driver very polite! We were the only ones so was like a private tour and got to see alot of Phuket and information. The lunch was also very good in a very nice restaurant on the beach. Highly recommend this and thank you once again Pat!

Good for the Soul

This tour was one of the absolute highlights of our trip. My daughter and I were the only 2 on this tour. Joy, our tour guide, was so helpful, friendly and so knowledgeable and spoke English very well. The Big Buddha and receiving a blessing from a monk was such a rewarding and peaceful experience, so good for the soul. We went crazy at the nut factory and had to buy an extra suitcase just to bring them home. Joy was very accommodating and asked if we had any special requests, anything else that we wanted to do or see. We asked Joy if she could drop us off at the Central Phuket Shopping Centre instead of our hotel which she did. This was such a fantastic day and I highly recommend this tour.

The best

I lucked out on this trip. I was the only person that booked this time slot. Which essentially meant I got a private tour. My tour guide Cat arrived early and we got started immediately. She was very personable and quite knowledgeable. She took interest in who I was and what were my key interests. Since, I was the only person she could cater it more to my interest. I felt that if there were others in the ‘group’ she would have done the same and figured a way to accommodate all. We did all the standard stops and one of the optional stops. Had a great lunch at a restaurant in old phuket. I opted for vegetarian. Strongly recommend this tour. The personable aspects were great.

Lovely day in Phuket

Our guide met us outside the gate of the cruise ship terminal. She spoke English very well and had strong knowledge of the area. She took us to all of the sites and explained in detail each place. She took us to a lovely lunch on the beach and the food was great. This was a wonderful taste of Phuket!!!

Great half-day tour in Phuket

This tour gave us an excellent half day introduction to Phuket and the most significant sightings. Tan was an outstanding tour guide, very friendly and easy going, great with kids and gave us so much information and insight into the Thai traditions and culture; together with the driver Pan they gave us VIP service. We highly recommend this tour as a short and sweet introduction to the surroundings before you start your holiday.

Great Introduction to Phuket

A friend and I did the tour on our first day in Phuket. It was a great introduction to the island showing us the various areas of the island, the different beaches, and explaining the do’s and don’ts in Thai culture. Our tour guide “Nurse” was extremely accommodating and one of the best people we met on our trip. That day we were the only two on the tour so it felt extremely private. You are toured around in a van stopping at the Three Beaches lookout before heading to Big Buddha (which we skipped due to winding roads and car sickness problems) and a temple. The lunch was on the beach overlooking a bay and was delicious and they even accommodated our dietary restrictions. I was skeptical about the nut factory but it was informative and quite delicious. Time was running low so we were able to skip the gem stop (which we did not mind at all). Overall, this was a good introduction to Phuket and if Nurse is your tour guide you are in for a great time.

Great tour and city orientation

We enjoyed our tour so much! Our guide and driver were friendly and we appreciated their interest in us as individuals as they custom made our sightseeing! The visit to the temple was so interesting, and we loved taking pictures of the Big Buddhah statue overlooking the city!

Tour around Phuket

We loved every moment . Joy was fantastic, kind, attentive and knowledgeable. She gave us so much information about the sites. The driver Alex was also very good. Loved it! Thank you Joy!

Better options

We did the 3 beaches views tour with lunch. To make a long story short: Positives: lunch tasted good, tour guide was nice, liked big buddah Negatives: we didn’t have lunch until after 1:15pm, the tour guide said oh you don’t have lunch (but it was already paid for on on my voucher), description on website says it includes soft drinks. When I we were leaving, the server kept asking us to pay but it was supposed to be included, tour guide spoke too much about details of the temple and the big Buddha sites when I would rather just explore on my own, tour was supposed to be from 10-3pm or another site said 8-1pm but it ended up being 8-4 (was supposed to be a 5 hour tour), we asked to skip the cashew factory because we were so behind on the schedule and we wanted to do souvenir shopping but instead they took us to a gem factory with expensive souvenirs at the end. It was a maze, hot and I felt trapped. Temple wasn’t too exciting to see. Would not work with them again.

very good tour overall, just ran longer than expected...

This was a very good tour overall...between the sites you see and the guide was great too, and very dedicated! only complaint is that this tour takes a lot longer than just 5 hours...We were picked up at 10am, and back by 5:15-5:30pm...So I would say this is more of a full day tour and should be reflected as such in the tour description. Otherwise, a very good overall experience!!

<p>We had such a great time on our tour! Kat was prompt and even gave us extra time to get ready since we had just landed in Phuket from Bangkok. She was patient, informative, and most importantly, HILARIOUS! We really enjoyed her tour as she explained everything in depth. We stopped to see the Phuket View Point which was beautiful! Then we went to the Big Buddha where she explained how it was built and various other things while inside. We donated some baht and designed our own leaf that we were able to put up anywhere we wanted on the premise. She then took us down to get blessed by a monk who tied a bracelet on us. Then we went to Wat Chalong where she explained the history of the various monks and we even participated in various Buddhist traditions such as praying, blessings, and got to see the beautiful temples. We had a lovely lunch on the beach with soup, chicken, rice, shrimp, and vegetables. Then we went to a cashew factory and got to taste about 20 flavors of cashews. We skipped the gem factory because we were absolutely exhausted. Kat took pictures of us everywhere we went and knew all the good spots! I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone 100!</p>

<p>I was actually the only person on this tour so it was a very personalized experience. The tour guide was kind and very knowledgeable. The only thing I would recommend is not doing the gem museum. It seems like a bit of a pointless addition. Other than that, I highly recommend this tour.</p>

<p>Managed to see the sights advertised Karon view point and big buda which were great. The lunch was dissapoting it seemed to be a buffet with a bit of everything. The pearl factory and nut factory were just there to increase sales and not needed on the tour. Friendly staff but a bit dissapointed.</p>

A faire sans conviction.

La montée jusqu'au temple en mobylette vous permettra de vous arrêter quelques minutes pour voir les artisans métalliers, sur le bord de la route, qui fabriquent les statuaires du temple; puis un peu plus loin vous découvrirez les éléphants. Rien d’exceptionnel mais avec la visite du Bouda ça occupe une journée. Le bouda en lui même est grandiose avec ses dimensions hors norme. Vous pourrez vous aventurer dans les pourtours du monument à la découverte des lieux de prière, statues et autres icônes et parfois même des singes qui se baladent à proximité. Malheureusement le lieu est surfréquenté et est en chantier quasi permanent.

Bellissimo panorama

Visita molto carina,siamo andati con un driver ci ha lasciati all'ingresso e abbiamo proseguito...avevamo portato dei parei per coprirci,bel panorama,carina l'idea di scrivere frasi su dei cuoricini. Molto bella è l'atmosfera con il canto dei monaci e la loro benedizione. Sicuramente consiglio qualche ora il mattino...perché fa molto caldo.
