Our guide was wonderful we loved her. The hike was great and beautiful and she explained everything as we walked. And the food for lunch was superb!

Hot hot National Park trek

Well run trip ending with lunch at a local restaurant. No vegetarian options so the guide ordered me a veg friend rice. The trek definitely requires good mobility - we did a bit of scrambling up rocks etc. It was VERY humid and I was actually able to wring my tshirt out with sweat. They supply 2 bottles of water. If you’re worrried about slipping probably not for you. I packed items for swimming in a water fall only to be told at the start that there is no waterfall due to it being the dry season. I then had to carry extra things when I didn’t need them. This should be stated on the page when booking. I enjoyed being active for the day but probably spent most time looking down at where I had to step rather than at the scenery. I’m not a novice hiker and have just completed Everest Base Camp to weeks earlier and I was concerned about slipping/tripping. I had a fun day though. Just know what to expect if you want to do this. We had a dog escort during the trek which was nice. Wear good shoes (I wore proper hiking boots). We also saw a snake which was cool.

Walk in the woods

Great hike in the national park. Loved the woods path. A bit slow for the serious hiker and falls and creek beds are near dry now in the dry season. Bina was a great guide.

Amazing experience even for novice hikers.

Me and my wife have never done any sort of trecking or hiking before and we thoughrouhly loved this experience! The hike was challenging in places, with areas you have to climb up and down a bit. The main challenge was the heat but we were supplied with plenty of water and snacks for our arrival to keep us going. Part of the way through the trip you can get under a waterfall or swim to cool off too! Nikom was a brilliant guide! He was very knowledgeable about the local plant and wild life and he took time to talk to everyone in the group, getting to know us and answer everyone’s questions. The food at the end was really good. We went to a little local Thai restaurant with more traditional Thai food on offer. Just make sure you ask for your food not spicy if you can’t handle the spice! :)

Brilliant trip

The trip was amazing, the 4 hour hike was incredible and Nikom was the perfect host. He knew so much about the trees and wildlife in the national park and was so lovely. The hike was challenging in places but the food at the end was so worth it!

Great experience with Nikom hiking in the jungle!

Review for Nikom at Feel Phuket This is the second time that we did the rainforest hike with Feel Phuket. The first time we went with Joe (that was last year May) and this time our guide was Nikom. Nikom was a great guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and super caring about the welfare of the group and our overall safety. Nikom was also very entertaining and had loads of local knowledge about the plants and the fruit that grow in the forest. I cannot recommend this rainforest hike highly enough as it is with a small group and they are super reliable. Everything from the pick up, the lovely lunch at the end of the hike, and the drop off is managed very smoothly and accurately. Thank you Feel Phuket for a lovely experience, and we will be back shortly.

Meh

Not worth it! Unless you really love hiking in a jungle. 4 hours of fairly difficult hiking with too many long smoke breaks led by thr tour guide Wit and no wildlife, not even birds! We could hear the monkeys from far away though. They all played with a giant non venomous spider. It was pretty but not that memorable. We swam in the waterfall at the end for about 15min. It was refreshing and nice but not that big or exciting. Maybe it’s better in the rainy season! The restaurant at the end was whatever.

A great trek and a wonderful guide

This was such a great experience on such a busy island, it was so refreshing to get out into the forest away from the crowds, and also to have a proper walk. We went with our kids (twins age 9) and it was perfect for them, they loved the adventure - although I wouldn't recommend it with kids who aren't used to walking. The swim in the river was so refreshing and we saw some really interesting wildlife - even one species of fly (but huge and colourful!) thats endemic to this rainforest only. Our guide was lovely, she looked after us all really well, even bringing fresh rice and coconut in a banana leaf for the halfway point. The walk took around 4 hours, but the pace was nice and relaxed in the heat. The track was a lot of fun - lots of ups and downs, but fine for anyone who's relatively fit and has a good pair of trainers! Lunch was lovely too. Definitely recommend going - so pleased we did.

Outdoor activity

Very interesting, in the trail no other tourists, very nice natural area, unexpected, nice outdoor activity! Glad we did that and our guide was great 🙏🏻

Good workout!

Guide was informative though english was limited. Need some level of fitness for this activity. Would have been better if there were 2 guides..one in front and one at the back. Kao, the guide dog, was the hero of the day!

Wonderful hike

The nature was great. They cared for us well. We had snacks, water and a good lunch. The guide tried to explain certain things on the way. We had enough stops to get some rest. We really liked the hike!

Great experience

Beautiful nature and scenery with a great and knowledgeable local guide, Bina. Walked 6 km in 4 hours surrounded by dense vegetation and wildlife. The journey began at Ton Sai waterfall and culminated with a refreshing bath at Bang Pae waterfall. A few 10-minute stops were made along the way. Exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended for anyone with some degree of physical fitness and an appreciation of the beauty nature has to offer.

A wonderful hiking experience

So great! Beautiful hike. Joris was an excellent guide. Swimming was AMAZING. Highly recommended. (The early section can be a little demanding but not intense, so wear appropriate shoes.)

Lots of fun

This jungle trek was awesome! Our tour guide Pui was excellent and very knowledgeable about the plants and wildlife in the area! We were able to swim in 2 waterfalls along the way which was a great way to cool off. Lunch was delicious as well. Overall a great experience!

Trip of the holiday! Highly recommend.

What a fantastic day. After one of our party had to drop out before we started, it ended up with just me and my friend, ably helped by a great guide, Piki (forgive me if I have spelt his name wrong!). Piki was friendly, informative but also reassuringly protective of our welfare - that was good as it was our first time in a jungle and there are lots of hazards to look out for: spiky plants for example. The jungle itself was magical, so much to see and so much life all around. We saw some very interesting small wildlife (inc snakes and a colourful spider) and loved the dip in the waterfall pool at the end. It was hard work but very manageable for someone with general fitness. The Thai meal at the end was in an open fronted restaurant on a busy street but probably the most authentic local food I had in the entire holiday. Absolutely fantastic and you felt you had earned it! I would heartily recommend this trip.

Highlight of our trip!

This tour was the highlight of our two week Phuket holiday! Our guide Phooi (sorry probably spelt wrong!) was knowledgeable, polite and well spoken. The park was stunningly beautiful with soaring bamboo, multiple waterfalls, little creeks and many interesting insects and fungi to check out along the way. We took plenty of breaks but its still a strenuous hike over uneven terrain - a great challenge in the hear! Two bottles of water per person are supplied, highly recommend taking another one or two with you as you will sweat A LOT! We loved swimming in the watering hole, it was a refreshing treat just after the half way point of our hike. Be prepared to get your shoes wet as you cross multiple streams to reach the final destination. Lunch supplied is DELISHIOUS! We wished we could have kept going for the afternoon - such a wonderful morning hike! Thank you!

An absolute must for nature lovers away from the big tourism

In advance, the arrangement and booking worked great. By transfer from the hotel we arrived at the meeting point. There, the guides gave us briefly the most important information and drinks. Good shoes, a small backpack and swimming gear are recommended. In the national park you feel like in the jungle. On small paths, some of which go steeply uphill or downhill, you can marvel at the exotic plant life. Our guide Juri is very competent and could tell us a lot about the animal and plant world, show and explain, even fluently in several languages. Relaxed and uncomplicated he led us through the very small jungle trails. It was exciting and thrilling and also a bit exhausting. But there were regular short breaks with the possibility to shower and bathe under a waterfall. In between there were bananas and a delicious rice snack. At the end of the hike we got a delicious lunch in a nice Thai restaurant on the edge of the national park. We were totally thrilled by everything and can only recommend this tour!

Phuket jungle trek

My husband and I did this tour on Tuesday. Our guide was lovely and very helpful. Unfortunately my husband felt quite dizzy and felt like he was going to faint. He is very fit, so this was unusual. Our guide ended up walking us back to the start and our driver very kindly drove us back to the hotel. Turns out my husband had a tummy bug and wasn’t very well. We walked with a gorgeous couple from the Netherlands. They were very understanding and helpful too.

We were thoroughly enjoyed our hike and the trails and all the beauty that we saw. Joris, our guide was very informative, approachable, accommodating and great to listen to, he had great stories, he did so well to bring a group together with 3 different languages and the little of our Thai energy bars and to finish off with a nice lunch in a hidden gem called Phuket Noodles

Love adventure and hiking… this is a great day trip! Loved the walk in the rainforest/jungle. It rained the whole way but it was lots of fun! Amazing tour guide who explained so much! Yummy fruit along the way! Lunch at the end was really good too!! Take spare clothes for the end is my own suggestion

Amazing experience!

Bicky was a fantastic guide! His energy is perfect for a hike in the jungle. He had a heightened awareness to the sounds of the jungle and made sure to point out all of the flora he could see. He constantly checked in with group to make sure everyone was keeping up and feeling good. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide!

Fun and unique experience

A great hike! I'd recommend to anyone, it felt very rewarding at the end and was unlike anything I'd ever done before. The included lunch following on from the hike was very yummy too. Thank you Bikki for being a fun and energetic guide - and shout out to the dog too!

Soul soothing

We loved this half day hike. It was just amazing being in the forest. Bikki was our guide and we loved the pace he set. We were expecting the hike to be challenging but we didn’t find it too tough at all. There were some parts that were steep but they were short. Bikki has amazing eyesight and spotted 2 different types of cicadas and several lizards that we would have missed. By taking it a bit slower we were rewarded by seeing more. And there was one or two sections where we were surrounded by butterflies of various species, almost like we were in a butterfly house. We also met Joris before we started and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. The people we met on the hike were also lovely and nature lovers

Take a hike!

A fun hike! We were glad we did it. Joris was our guide and he was great educating us on the highlights of the park. However we did find the hike challenging. We are not totally unfit but it was hard work trying to keep up with the group. As a result, we could not really appreciate the park as we were more focused on not twisting our ankles and keeping up. If you have knee or hip issues like us, we recommend informing the guide before the start of the hike so he can control the pace of the group. At one point we actually “lost” the group and freaked out a little lol. But it’s part of the fun. And good thing we had a great group who looked out for us for most of the way. Totally recommend the experience.

Unbelievable experience

Joris put the small tour jungle and waterfall hike hike together for me and 3 friends. The walk is exactly as described and is the most fantastic experience walking through jungle paths in the National Park and swimming in the natural river pond in the middle of the park. Joris was a great guide and gave us lots of interesting info during the walk. He collected and returned us from the cruise terminal ( despite huge delays by the cruise company) and provided a hearty local meal after the hike. The hike is strenuous and not for the faint hearted or anyone with reduced mobility. If you are a keen hiker this is a must do.

I recommend putting on a bathing suit when you leave, or you can change in the shower or you can take a dip and swim in your clothes 😃 the clothes dry quickly 😃 The guide's interesting stories about the destination took us along. I recommend this trip if you want to see beautiful Thai nature and calm your mind in the middle of nature. Absolutely lovely! Must come again when we are in Phuket again☀️

Exotic advanture

It is a real jungle hiking, the terrain is medium-hard but you can enjoy the view and the nature. There are more waterfalls - you can take a refreshing shower in them, you can swim in a little pond in the middle of the jungle. The guide was very friendly and informative, he has a cute protecting dog against snakes and other wild animals. I would recommend this tour who like the challanges

You’ll definitely have your jungle experience

The hike was wonderful. The guide was very funny and knowledgeable. He had a lot of experience. It’s a moderate hike. They divide the group into 2; slow ones and fast ones for those with different abilities. You will swim in a small pond and under a waterfall. Make sure to spray a mosquito repellant before you start. You’ll probably swim directly in your clothes and keep hiking. They took us to a local street food place not a fancy buffet which I admired. Food is served at the end.

A MUST DO!!!

Being avid hikers/trekkers the excursion wasn’t too challenging physically but it could for the average person who is not in shape. That being said they gave an option to form a fast group and a slow group, each with a guide which I thought was a great idea. Water, snacks and lunch was provided afterwards as well as pick up and return to our motel. During the excursion we enjoyed every opportunity to go swimming, including 2 that were underneath waterfalls. “Mit” our guide made it so enjoyable and gave us information in a way that made it fun. He was a local but spoke clear enough English that was easy to understand. We also encountered several huge spiders and other insects of the rain forest which was another highlight of my day. It was very hot and humid and good footwear is highly recommended for the challenging terrain. I’m glad I decided to bring my hiking boots! I would highly recommend this activity for nature goers and adventurer’s stay in the Phuket area.

Very nice hike and a bit of a fitness challenge

Nice hike and amazing well- prepared guide! This is not suitable for people though who want a light walk in a park and explore every tree - it is a bit of a fitness challenge.

Great excursion!

Wit was a great guide and the hike was not hard, but not easy either - just right. The authentic Thai lunch was fantastic as well! I definitely recommend this hike!

Amazing hiking hours. Just do it.

Already our guide Wit is a reason to make this trip again. He was a perfect mix of well knowledge, mindful guardian (including a not named dog escorting the group throughout the whole tour) and a fine humor. Beside him the nature is amazing. You should be fit for hiking and aware to become completely wet if you want to enjoy the waterfall experiences.

Nice alternative activity

Very enjoyable alternative hike. Although the jungle itself felt almost identical to a similar experience in South America, Central America or elsewhere in Asia - it’s always nice to take a relaxing day out from water activities. We walked slowly (maybe too slow) and jumped into some waterfalls and pools - nice day and the guide kept a reasonable mix of fun and facts

Enjoyable experience

Experience was very enjoyable. Group had a mixture of ages. Hike was beautiful. Wear your swim wear from the get-go, you will get wet. Guide was knowledgeable. Hotel pick-up can take a while. Toilets at start and end of hike does not have toilet paper, take some with you.

Jungle walk

Great walk but a bit challenging in places, good footwear needed. The guide was brilliant, really cares and gave great information. Waterfalls and swimming was great and the scenery was beautiful. Only real let down was the travel arrangements. Late being picked up but they were very apologetic

crazy hike!

Best experience I’ve had. Took about 4 hours total. Knowledgeable guide, learned a lot. True hike, walking through the jungle made me feel like Tarzan. Ends with a beautiful waterfall. Bring shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting wet! You need to be pretty fit to complete

Wonderfull private tour

Due to a lack of bookings because we are in the off-season. We tot the opportunity to do the tour with a private guide. This is my third time in Phuket but the first time i've been in the rainforest and it was absolutely stunning, beautiful and adventurous. The guide had alot of information about the plants, insects and wildlife. He took his time to show us evertthing and nothing was pressured. Not knowing what you will see, adventurous walking paths, beautifull waterfalls makes this a must do trip while you start at Phuket. The fact they take pictures for you is a very nice extra so you can watch your feet. After a long walk you get a delicious meal at a local restaurant to end your excursion. I would recommend this tour to everyone!

Safety first - serious and reliable company FeelPhuket plus great guide - after tour start weather changed with extreme rain and guide decided to stop although we just started the tour and return to start focusing on safety first. Guide remained calm and together with park rangers solved the situation very professional without any concerns for the tour participants. Thank you to all involved. We where offered a new tour or money back and hence a very good service. Our best recommendations to use this company anytime and for sure we will try this tour next time in Phuket

A breathlessly fun & eye-opening adventure

Wit was our guide and we had a great time! Very funny guide who was very knowledgeable about everything and very enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge of the jungle with us! Was much more fun than we expected we held spiders and swam in waterfalls. Had a dog that followed us the entire trip as well! Recommend this!

A stroll through the jungle

An enjoyable day with Wit experiencing the delights of the jungle. Wit was a font of knowledge about the jungle and its inhabitants. He also made sure we got out of the jungle when some of the routes were blocked by recent falls.
