Very entertaining show with many different costume changes and good choreography. Song choices were also good with coverage over many different country themes

Can’t miss!

The women were stunning. The outfits were fun. The sets and transitions were incredible. I couldn’t believe how quickly the stage changed from one giant set to another. The performers were very sweet and friendly at the end. Taking pictures with them was a great way to end the show

Overrated

Overrated , lip syncing is terrible , it’s actually quite boring . Expected more actual talent . The big lady was the best part . Disappointing.

Most fun in Phuket!!

Absolutely incredible! It was so fun and entertaining and very affordable. We had a blast! Honestly it was the funnest part of our whole trip. The costumes are beautiful, the choreography is impressive and the songs are so fun. I will go back every time I visit Phuket. I read some bad reviews about the performers being aggressive after photos not being paid for. If you choose to get a photo after the show, be advised that it costs 100 B (equivalent to 3 USD). I spent 800 B happily to support these entertainers!!

Missold as a lady boy show.

Just a cheesy too loud cabaret. I was expecting something a lot more fun and entertaining. I left early.

A great waste of Money and Time

The show is a total mess from my perspective. Is extremely boring and everything from the show is fake (songs singing, even drums). And to make the experience "perfect", at the end of the show you can go to take pictures with the performers and after you take some pictures with them they ask you for money even though nobody asks you from the beginning. I would not recommend this show to my greatest enemy :)). If you saw the Moulin Rouge show, or similar, you will just cry after seeing this one.

A must see cabaret show in Phuket

The attendants when you arrive really take care of you. Cocktail bar is excellent service. The amazing costumes and quick flow of the show.

Agressive dancers

The show was not so good or not so bad, in several languages. After show when we went out dancers called to take pictures. My friends took 2-3 pics each,I didn't. Once we were about to leave, they asked for money. They asked in a very agressive way, seems they were ready to fight. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS SHOW!!!!

Great show

Very good show. Good seats. good view. good actors. Great outfits. They danced non stop. The show started exactly at 7:30 and went on till the end. They interacted with guests which made the show even funnier

Boring with no storyline

Boring with no story line or theme. Choreography was not in sync, music was repetitive. I’ve been to better shows put on by amateur dance schools. Expected to be dazzled but was ready to go after 10 minutes.

Not bad but not for kids

The show was not bad. Several of the cast looked as if they really didn't want to be there. Their timing was way out, which as a dancer really annoys me, some put a lot of effort in whilst others couldn't even shape moves and couldn't be bothered. Lip sync was way out on some acts where it was evident the performers didn't even know the words to the song. The performances are a mix from all over the world, I especially enjoyed their Bollywood number, as did a large group of Indians who were clapping and cheering. I don't know why they advertise tickets for children, because it REALLY isn't suitable for children. The costumes (although they are really colourful) are so small you can almost see their private parts and most of their breasts are exposed. One act started as pole dancing and then quickly became erotic, with the performers imitating self-pleasure and touching their genitals. One performer came into the audience, started touching a man's groin then dry humping him. It was funny but not for children. Beware after you leave the auditorium all the performers are lined up encouraging you to have photos with them. They charge 100-200 baht per performer! It is definitely worth a visit, just don't take kids if you don't want them seeing adult content.

This is definitely a must see!! I wish there were more stars to rate this experience. The dancing, music and choreography were just out of the book. This is really a great experience.

Boring and disappointing

We have just watched the show and was extremely disappointed there was no professionalism in the show the dancers were laughing and talking and not performing. We have seen many lady boy shows and this was by far the worst we have seen do not go it’s boring and a waste of money. Also conned on the way out taking a photo on my own phone then the dancers grabbing my arm asking for 200 bhat then wouldn’t let me go until I paid.. Awful experience

Promised everything, delivered so little

This show promised so much but sadly failed to deliver, really disappointing! Terrible lip synching, awful cringey twee numbers -particularly in the first half. Then it goes from one extreme to another, really overtly raunchy - I'm sure the smattering of under tens that were in the audience were really embarrassed! The dancers were sadly lacking finesse in their moves, very lacklustre and lacking conviction - many of them looked bored and not wanting to be there... Craig Revell Horwood would have had a field day, darling. Be very wary at the end if you want a pic with any of the cast, be prepared to cross their palms with plenty of silver. However - the costumes are fabulous!

Great till the end

Show great, but being grabbed fir photos and being charged 1000 brt per photo ripe off . Need clear signage regarding photos and the dancers grab the money and push you away.

Flashiest show in Phuket

Really flashy and flamboyant. The performers put on a really fun act with attitude. Nothing else in Phuket quite like it.

Get there a bit earlier and enjoy a cocktail🍸 Great venue with a very charming man meeting and greeting and directing upon arrival.

Must do in Thailand

Great show and performance. Must do if your in Thailand/the area. Only down fall was that everyone just bombarded each other to get to seats and there was no sort of system in place.

Meh

The show was ok… I have only been to one other ‘drag’ show and it was much better and funnier. At the end of the show, the ‘ladies’ were super aggressive about getting money to take a picture.

Be AWARE

The show was really good. After the show, the performers were standing outside and we went to one of the performers to take photos. She didn't mention anything about payment until we finished taking the photos with her. She asked each of us for 500 baht (there were 3 of us) and would not let us go until she received her tip. We felt that we got scammed as there is no heads-up about tipping needed for photos with them.

FANTASTIC!!!!!!

I loved the show from the costumes to the songs and dances it was exciting and kept me sings and dancing in my seat. I was looking forward to the curtain opening every single time and was never disappointed.

The show is truly...

The show is truly amazing, wonderful stage setting, and even more for the costumes… Only thing that disappointed was that no pictures/videos were allowed during the show, and at the end the public was encouraged to go take pictures with the performers, but without being warned that they would have to pay afterwards

Great night

Simon Cabaret, was a wonderful and excellent show. The music choice was excellent. The show presented music from other countries with a an amazing choreography.

A lot of glitz, not much talent

A one hour show, slow to start, all songs mimed and a couple of dances that where good. At the end they wait outside and becon you over for photos like harpies before you can read the High Up Sign that says 100B per artist for photos. Cheesy to say the least.

Okay

So we decided to go to Simon’s whilst we were in Phuket partly because of the good reviews we had seen about it being spectacular... quite frankly, I’ve had farts that were more spectacular! The show was okay and the lady boys looked good but it was a little bit of a let down. We ordered two drinks when we got there and they took ages to come and by the time they did, we had to send them back as we were going into the room (you can’t take drinks into the show room). The kids enjoyed the show but said that it was over too quickly (it’s only one hour). When the show had finished we made our way outside.. the Simons website says you can meet the artists after the show (they were all outside) so we went up for a photo. Now a little warning here.. if you’ve read reviews about monkey Beach, the same principles apply here. Do not approach the artists they can get angry if you don’t give them what they want. We didn’t realise this at the time so headed over for a photo. 3 artists jumped in the photo and then proceeded to demand 200 baht for each artist for the photo. As we didn’t have 600 baht on us, we were trying to explain and they were like “listen to me.. we want 200 baht per person. Let’s just say it turned the whole experience rather sour! We didn’t give them 600 baht (Even with their attitude). We through 200 baht at them and walked off. All in all, the experience is okay (the pole dancing scene was the best bit) but I can’t emphasise this enough, BEWARE OF THE LADY BOYS, THEY ARE NOT PRETTY ON THE INSIDE LIKE THEY ARE ON THE OUTSIDE!

Great show

What a performance! They put in a lot of time and effort to get each performance spot on! I would recommend sitting a few rows back to get the full effect. Well worth the effort to go!

Good for one off

An effort to copy Las Vegas over the top appeal Off course has an edge due to its nature Not bad for one time but repetative If in Phuket for more than 4-5 days then worth a visit Didn’t like the lining of performers at end of show for pictures and asking money for it a bit demeaning that are performers after all

Very entertaining

Highly entertaining and very fun. Got great seats through Viator and was very pleased with the performance. Highly recommended just for the sheer laughter of it all.

Do not go too this show worst and longest hr of my life.would rather have root canal done without any pain relief .

Breath taking!!!

Wasn’t planning to go to this show but saw a video of it at the hotel. So glad my wife and I went, the show was a highlight of our holiday to Phuket. Very well priced for an hour of entertainment. The lady boys definitely know how to put on a show. Do yourself a favour and book it in, you won’t be disappointed. Be prepared to hand over 100thb if you want a photo with one of the dancers You won’t believe how amazingly pretty they all are Thankyou for a great night out!👍

Top quality, extravagant and a must see.

We were pleasantly surprised by the show. It was top quality and had all the glitz and glamour of a world class show. Very entertaining!

Nice show of the multi language and geographic regional.

It's a lady boy show and totally worth it. Great costume, music , venue and make up. One of the must watch show in Phuket. But it's all about money at the end:(

Simon Cabaret...School Cabaret

I was persuaded to go to Simon Cabaret, and at just under £20 - 750THB for a VIP ticket I was curious to see what it was like. The venue provides the illusion of sophistication. The staff were helpful and it seemed well organised. You’re not allowed to take photos/videos when the show is on as you may disorientate the cast (yeah right) and if caught doing so you’d be fined 50,000 USD?! Anyway, the show started and I have to admit I laughed all the way though. The lip syncing wasn’t up to scratch and some of the cast members were out of sync with the routine. The ‘men’ come on (I say men, they looked no older than 18) and performed as if they were in a school play with some of them smiling and getting in to it, others dancing with no passion and finesse. The women’s costumes were good - the men’s were to be desired, their trousers were short which you could see their shoes, showing how they needed a good clean. The women’s shoes didn’t look too good either and I’m surprised they could dance in the them. The show lasted an hour, and at the end you have the opportunity to have a picture with them - be aware, this is 100THB per person per cast member. Some cast members jump on the photos to ensure they get a tip. I’ve seen the management respond to the reviews about this and they seem like they aren’t bothered - but if they are management, surely they can do something about it. Either stop charging for it, stop having the cast out there or purchase tokens before the show so you’re more prepared. Anyway, overall for something to do for an hour, it’s worth a giggle, just don’t take it too seriously and you’ll be fine.

So i would rate the cabret 5/10 because I loved the costumes & totally appreciate the effort however they do not know the lyrics to any of the songs they are performing & try to lip sync & it looks terrible. There was a bollywood song that the artists performed & the lead artist kept looking & touching the boobs of the lady he was dancing with.... (was not needed) Any how, after the performance we are allowed to click pictures with the artists by paying them a tip of 100 Baht. My husband & me went to click a picture with 1 artist & the other one just caught my husband & came into the pic. They charged us 400 Baht for the picture because of 100 baht per person per artist..... I was shocked !!!!! We didnt ask for a 2nd artist in the picture & we didnt know of the stupid pricing con that they pull off. So please be careful.

It was good but overpriced

The performance was interesting and very well done--but it lasted only one hour and a picture with the girls was minimum 100 bath.

Dont go to this show

This show sucked so much do not watch. The only good thing was the fairly cheap cocktails before the show. The dances were half assed and there was no professionalism. I think going to the school talent show would have been better

Great experience

Bought vip tickets- didn’t realise we would be right up front but was nice The costumes and backdrops/props were visually stunning !! So impressed Some dancers really put a lot of effort into their performance whilst others were so so. Still a great experience and would recommend to everyone Did not take any photos after felt awkward to go up to any one performer - maybe add a little extra onto the vip tickets for a photo opp?

Great show, nasty after show behaviour from performers

The show is good but you are left with a hideous experience if you get your photo taken with a performer afterward. Price has doubled for a photo in 3 months from 100 baht to 200 baht per photo and then other drag queens jump in the photo and expect to be paid too. These greedy performers give drag queens a bad name. Majority of performers have a permanent bored expression on their face while performing. The male performers are especially bored and most barely know their steps and are watching others for cues. To be honest, give this a miss. Wish I did.

Good show but do not meet the girls after the show

The show itself is good with a great stage and costumes. At the end of the show you can meet the divas which I do not recommend because they turn from divas to beggars with terrible attitude.

Don’t know who wrote the previous reviews, I found the cabaret show to be visually stunning The whole experience was an enjoyable one even the cocktails were nice and very reasonably priced. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

out of this world

I booked to go on this with 2 of my sisters, not expecting much as I HATE!!! cabaret so to be honest was not looking forward to it. how wrong was I? it was breath taking I was in awe over the costumes and sets (and I have been to many theatres nothing like this) it was as if I was enchanted I couldn't move and was happy to be there watching it. I would suggest NOT buying vip ticket as everyone buys vip ticket so our section was cheap, had amazing view and we didn't have to queue with everyone else wanting to get into vip seating (and I do mean everyone). I would love to go again brilliant a must see.

Glitz and glamour

When in Thailand hey, you have to see the show that has helped put Thailand on the map, the show for the lady boys. The tickets are reasonably price and the bar is not bad, we had a cocktail and it was no dearer than some the local bars. The show is just over an hour long and you are not allowed to take pictures, although the girls will be available to have photos with afterwards. These pictures do come with a price. The outfits are stunning and give Shirley Bassey a run for her money. My only whinge would be that with the exception of one of the girls, all the girls were a particular size and shape, thin and tall. It was like a Miss World contest. It just seems a shame that in a world of embracing differences, there is still an expectation that women need to have a specific body shape. Given that all these girls were or are transitioning from a male form, they still desire to have the 'model' body shape. The one girl who was more curvascious provided the comedy element of the night.

A must see when in Phuket. Show goes for less than an hour but is well worth it. A great night out for all the family.

Hilarious!

We booked via Klook and got really cheap VIP tickets for the same day at 7:30. We got seats on the front row. Drinks preshow are good and not overly expensive (150 baht for frozen cocktail). The show itself is a mixed bag. They are all miming but we didn’t mind this at all. The costumes are amazing and there are some amazing performances and some of the crew really shone like the chap who danced the main part in the Bollywood scene, he was great throughout. My husband was ‘chosen’ to be danced on and kissed by the comedy act who came down into the audience. I found this hilarious, him not so much. Some of the dancers had no clue what they were doing and quite often got ‘lost’ in the moves. This just added to the enjoyment as we found it all quite funny! And some looked so miserable and fed up, like they had been dragged in to do it. I think they were highlighted though by the enthusiastic, high performing stars. Definitely worth a trip to see when in Phuket. We didn’t choose to get a photo with any after the show and pay the ridiculous money they were practically begging for. Kind of ruins the show really having them beg for money after, they should instead sell a programme and do private photo opportunities. I did however get a sneaky pic of the butch dancer who did the comedy act!

Worth a visit

Went here booked through trip advisor as it was the cheapest way. Booked for 7.30pm show and was only a 15 min walk from our hotel so we decided to go early to have a couple of drinks beforehand When we arrived we had a drink in their bar which wasn’t over priced at all. We asked them if we could go into the early show at 6pm instead and they allowed this giving us VIP seats (second row from the front) the show was very WestEnd theatre style with lots of glamorous costumes typical for the gay community. The singing was mimed as they performed to the music- but overall an enjoyable experience. At the end the Ladyboys line up outside trying to get you to take photo which they will charge you 200-500BHT we ignored them and just walked through as they are NOT allowed to touch you. Well worth a visit for something very different that you won’t see at home
