Good value private tour of Phuket with good quality van.

My wife and I had a private modern well air-conditioned Toyota van for a 6 hour tour of Phuket. Our drivers English was adequate and we were able to change what we wanted to see and do without problems. The driver was very helpful and courteous as my wife has a walking frame. The Hindu temples were well worth a visit and the big Buddah very impressive. We were on an ocean liner and there was uncertainty as to which pier our ship would be tendering to but the driver was waiting for us on time.

Stunning trip, Well worth it

Hubby and I booked this trip on a whim not knowing what to expect. We were picked up in time by Danny who was a fantastic host and driver he was so knowledgeable about the area amd gave us good advice. Not to mention he fetched us in a Land Rover Defender, served us ice water and ice refresher towels. Driving around in his comfortable air conditioned vehicle was a highlight given the incredibly hot weather. My only regret was booking just 4 hours, we should have opted for 5 or 6.

Disappointing for the price

We seemed to get a gentleman and his family van. air conditioning in the van was not very good and the windows were quite filthy which for a driving sight seeing tour wasn’t ideal. We weren’t sure where to go but said the usual - Pantong beach, big budda etc. Well there was a lot Of traffic at Pantong so we didn’t stop and just drove but, didn’t go to big budda and just seemed to drive around to various lookouts. There were cheaper services so was expecting a lot more from this one for the price.

Great day out!!

It was a great day out seen all of phuket. Ras our driver was great too. Made the day even better having him and his ideas what to see.

Great way to see the city

This worked out great. You really want a daily driver, and they don't cost that much. This is the only way to see the sights. They are nice and helpful.

The driver was on time and very helpful. He took us to all the spots we wanted to visit and was not hesitant to make multiple stops to use washroom or get refreshments since I was with family

Good option to customise your tour

Our driver was Ras, a young guy who provided good suggestions and insight while complying with our requirements and intentions. Thus ended up being a very customised tour, stopping in places we wanted and others he suggested. Always very helpful and polite, Ras was an excellent driver.

Great little tour

Our driver Doll was brilliant, very punctual and helpful in suggesting stops for our tour. He was very friendly and the refreshments were great with the children when it was so hot.

We always use Dol, our favourite driver with My Phuket Holidays! He is pleasant - always smiling … easy going and very helpful. He is also very caring - always making sure my 90 year old mum is comfortable … He makes sure there are small stool to make it easier for her to get onto his van. This is the 3rd time we have engaged him to bring us around. He has by now become our friend too and someone we can depend on should there be a sudden need or emergency. Excellent!

I booked a day tour and my driver was Peter. I had a wonderful experience! He took me to the places I had in mind & the whole tour did not feel rushed. I would recommend this if you're limited on time and want to see as much as possible within the 8 hours. Just keep in mind that you let the driver know what places you want to visit (so do your research or you can also ask them for recommendations).

Awesome Day Exploring Phuket!

My wife and I had a blast on our Private Customized Phuket Tour with a Driver. We're from the US and wanted to see Phuket our way, and this tour was perfect for that. Our driver was super chill and made sure we hit all the spots we wanted. We started in Old Phuket Town, checking out the cool buildings and markets. Then we headed to Wat Chalong temple, which was really peaceful and beautiful. But the best part was the Big Buddha Phuket. The views from up there are insane! Our driver timed it perfectly so we missed the crowds and could take it all in. He also kept us stocked with water and gave us some great tips on where to grab some tasty Thai food.

Our guide arrived super early, was safe, and had good energy. We enjoyed our private tour. It helped that there was a poster with options for sites to visit. At every stop, he was present to collect us and head to the next stop.

Best tour driver experience ever

We had an en amazing experience with Dol. He was polite, informative, solicitous, and incredibly flexible. He also took excellent care of us, offering us cold water, he had a cooler in his van, cokes, watermelon and other fruits. Because it was so hot, he offered us something refreshing every time we stopped for sightseeing to quench our thirst. He took us to see and ride elephants to a place where there were no lines. He also took us to see the tigers. They offered for us to have pictures touching the tigers, but we declined. However we saw many others having the pictures. These stops were not in the itinerary, but asked by us. He accompanied us to the temple explaining what we were seeing. He suggested a place on the beach to have a typical Thai lunch which was very delicious.. Then he drove us to various beaches with the opportunity to swim in whichever one we preferred. His English was excellent and he was just over the top wonderful and relaxed with out time. Believe me, you will have the best experience you have ever had with any driver-guide. I say guide because he was full of information, although reminding us he was not an official guide. But he was the best, most helpful driver, better than any “official guide.” We highly recommend him. If I could give him 10 stars, I would.

Professional memorable tour!

We got recommendations for viewpoint restaurant/cafe and it was the best cafe that we've been during Phuket! He also got us cold water before we got off the old town which was very nice :)

Awesome Day!

We requested ‘Dol’ as our driver as we read an excellent review online about him and he did not disappoint. He knows this area like the back of his hand and can literally take you anywhere you want to go. We wanted to do some photography so he took us to all the excellent view points and then off to Phuket Old Town for more photography and an authentic Thai food experience. It was a really awesome day and Dol kept us entertained, hydrated and fed with snacks all along the way. We would highly recommend Dol and this company. You won’t be disappointed.

Relaxing day at Phuket

Driver was waiting as arranged. Nice aircondition car and provided the private transport to locations of our choice. Just perfect.

We were 2 hours late...

We were 2 hours late getting off of our ship but the driver patiently waited for us and still managed to take us to all of the places that we wanted to visit that day. He went out of his way to ensure that we saw all of the important sights. He was very kind and helpful.

Worth it if you want to tour at your own pace with no historic details

This was a nice little tour, we had a driver for 6 hours and he took us to whatever locations/things we wanted to see and we could spend as much or as little time at each location as possible. Do note that this will not be a traditional tour where the guide will provide lots of historical information about the things you see but that was good for me and my wife as we fell asleep going from location to location as we made it into Phuket the same morning after a 16 hour journey! If you do plan to use this tour then make sure you plan your route in advance to make use of the time well.

Private driver, not really a “tour”

The vehicle was great, the driver was nice, however, we were expecting a customized tour. We asked for a driver to take is on a tour with a focus on history and historical landmarks. Our first stop was a tourist trap Pearl factory where they just wanted to sell us stuff, which took up the first 2 hours of our “tour” with traffic to get there. Then he picked a completely inefficient route where we spent most of the time in traffic as he started take us past Old Phuket, where we really wanted to go, to see 2 other attractions then backtrack in the bad traffic to get there. The vehicle was beautiful. If you know where you want to go and plan your own itinerary, this is great, otherwise, if you’re looking for a customized designed tour by a local, this might not be the right option for you.

Private Tour

Private tour guide that showed us an overview of the island in 6 hours, allowing us to explore more of the areas that we were interested in revisiting. Highly recommend, a great way to explore with your private party.

Simply do NOT book this tour

I booked this for my parents and gave them a list of places. They said this shouldn't be advertised as a "tour" he simply just drove the car, no info about the landmarks etc. He talked them out of places they wanted to visit and dropped them back at the hotel early. A complete contrast to their tour They just had in bangkok. DO NOT RECOMMEND

He was very patient and let us go at our own pace. Took us to a really cute place, cafe phuket. Great place to take cute pictures, cost of admission is a drink. He then took us to the view points and then back to patong like we requested. Took us to what we wanted to see without wasting anytime.

Ahh’mazing!!

Mr. Dol and Adam were absolutely fabulous! It was a rainy day, and Mr. Dol navigated the traffic effortlessly! My sister, and I felt very safe & comfortable with our escorts. We were only expecting one. They took us anywhere we wanted without hesitation. Waited for us while we did our thing. Mr. Dol was very familiar with the area. They took care of us every step of the way. Provided umbrellas, water & offered soda. It was the absolute BEST!! I will definitely book a private customize tour again! It was reasonably priced and THE ONLY way to go! We felt like Queens.

AMAZING and UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE!!!

I had an absolutely incredible experience with my guide Dol! He made me feel vey comfortable and took me to many places and helped with my parcels, treated me to lunch and made me laugh! He is such a wonderful person and guide and speaks English very well! He also took pictures of me when I asked him to and they came out amazing! Absolutely perfect! We had Mr Tan as our driver and he was so accommodating towards us. Private Phuket tour with driver

We had a group of 6 adults so booking a private driver meant having the vehicle to ourselves and seeing the sights we wanted to see when we wanted . Well worth the price for 6 hours. The driver was very friendly, helpful and made things so smooth and easy for us, His knowledge of the area really helped , thank you.

Great city tour

Really enjoyed this tour. Our guide was Tum, he spoke English very well and told us about things as we drive by them. He answered all and any questions we had. We were in Bangtao and did a 4 hour tour which allowed us to go to the Wat Chalong, big Buddha, and the old town. That wa a perfect time, but not enough if you want to see elephants and or tigers

Cool and comfortable

Tan was a great driver. He took us wherever we wanted and made suggestions. The vehicle was clean cool and comfortable.Highly recommend.

Brilliant flexible tour

We’d highly recommend this tour for anyone; either with a plan on what they’d like to see, or else let Tam guide you. We did the 6 hour option which was plenty of time to explore Phuket Old Town, The Big Buddha, Chalong Temple complex, Karon Beach, Karon View Point, and look out, and even the Tiger Park. Amazing seeing elephants as we drove through the rainforest roads. Such a friendly and informative guide, we loved every minute.
