Phuket Jet Ski Tour to 5-8 Islands with Pickup and Transfer

The Trip was very nice, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the Jetski experience. However the reason for my poor rating is the extremely poor customer service by the proprietor Mr. Rocky, who made us wait for almost 2 hours in total, for the pick up from the hotel, and then unnecessarily at islands where they try to enforce additional food and beverage purchases. We had signed on for a 4 hour tour, but the total time taken was 7 hours, delaying the rest of my days plans. We had to hail a taxi to escape from them after the trip was over. Also if you take the 4 hour trip, they will just leave you stranded on a distant island for an hour until they complete a separate groups 5 hour trip and then come and get you. This was the most unpleasant part. The business owner is rude, and we decided not to wait for them to send out drop off bus. I would love to o the Jetski experience again, but not with this operator.

Awesome experience!

Was absolutely awesome!! If you like adventure and water and you can handle the bumpy ride, then go for it!! I will do it again! It's hard on your body if the see gets rough, especially if you are 2 people on the jetski, but well worth it.

4h tour

It was a good experience and trip. Went with my friend for 4h Tour, one jetski each. Fluent english safety brief before depart. You need to bear in mind that jetski are really fast. My fastest speed on flat surface was 78km/h. This is not the best option for people who are afraid of speed at open sea. It's good and sound when you ride with the waves, but once waves are against you, there comes problems. Bring sun glasses with you, otherwise your eyes will be full of salty water. There is no way to keep jetski at max speed when you go against the waves. You simply won't hold it and you will end up in the water. It's better to take a time. Also, during 4h Tour you will be at the sea at least 2h, which is challenging for your hands. Girls in my group were staying far, far behind us, because it was simply hard to hold jetski at fairly good speed for them. Then whole group needed to stop and wait for the others to catch up. For me as an experienced one it was really good fun and worth money spent. But again, this is not for everyone.

Awesome trip with wonderful guides. Massive shout out to Ali and his wonderful hospitality. I did this trip with my kids, aged 15 and 13. They rode and I held on between them both. It does help to be an experienced jet skier but otherwise if the swells are low then you should be able to ride. Will do it again in a heart beat

Great day for a couple.

We loved this tour. It was a great afternoon and they take many photos for you. Lots of amazing views and fun on the sea. Visited several islands and had most of them all to our group so no crowds. The waves can be a bit big so if you’re scared to drive in those conditions it might not be for you.

GOT LOST WITH A BROKEN JET AND NO ONE CARED!

IT'S DANGEROUS! Not the jet ski, the tour guide starts in a truck area that doesn't feel comfortable, and that isn't it!! We book for an afternoon but they made us to come to the morning session where we are super crowded. And with only one tour guide who doesn't car if someone is lost in the ocean :) And sadly that what happened! Me and my wife we're in our honeymoon and the jet was stuck with a rope some left behind and something got broken inside our jet and the tour guide didn't notice us for hours! We seeked help from total strangers that hopefully helped us in our very dangerous position and then the tour guide only called as to take back he's super old jet ski back! And tried to charge us for the damage! Please be careful DO NOT GO WITH THIS TOUR with those guys

Not for the faint of heart

Let me just start by saying the tour guides were very very friendly and no one got hurt. Having said that, the jet skiing experience is terrifying-- especially in the ocean. I do not recommend this for children-- they will have a very hard time hanging onto the jet ski for more than four hours. I shared a jet ski with my husband. At one point, we hit a wave and I fell off the jet ski. Somehow I managed to not fall into the ocean, but again to my point, I do not recommend this for children. That being said, if you are an experienced jet skier this might be a fun experience for you. We signed up for the afternoon session and started off with a 1.5 hour car ride from Kata Beach to the northern tip of the Pa Klok Thaland District. The car was a manual shift (lots of breaking) with very little AC. When we got off the car to check-in, it felt a bit unorganized. We didn't hear any directions, so we just followed along with the rest of the group by signing in and strapping on the life jackets (monkey see, monkey do). We were given a few rules (stay 10 meters away from each jet ski, do not do crazy jet ski moves, etc,) and off we went. We got on our jet ski and were split into two groups. Each group had two tour guides on one jet ski. Originally I thought we were split into two groups based on the tour we selected (4 hours vs 5 hours). By the end of the tour, I realized this didn't matter as we all left at the same time and came back at the same time. Of the 5 or 6 islands we visited, we docked at 4 islands (2 islands to take pictures-- 15 minutes each; the other 2 islands to rest and snack-- 30 minutes each). One of the jet skis in our group malfunctioned. The tour guides quickly switched jet skis with the guests. One of the tour guide stayed with the broken jet ski and the other tour guide climbed onto the back of a single rider jet skier. I have no idea how they recovered the broken jet ski and stranded tour guide but everything worked out fine as the tour guide was able to meet up with the group on the next island. At one point, we were concerned about the gas level (we had about an hour of skiing left and had less than half of tank left). We were told we had enough gas as long as we skied faster. The waves were getting pretty rough but we persevered out of fear of being stranded in the middle of the ocean. We finally returned to the original starting point 30 minutes after sunset started. If we stayed out another 15 minutes, we would have navigated the ocean in the dark. The overall jet skiing experience wasn't very relaxing nor did it feel very safe. The tour guides also told us that they would take many photos and share it with everyone. I followed their directions (added their Whatsapp before 8pm so that they can add us to a private group where the photos would be shared). However, only one of the group's tour guides uploaded the photos. Unfortunately, the tour guides in the other group (which we were in) did not upload any photos. I tired following up with emails and Whatsapp messages but we never got our photos. Very disappointing considering it felt like we risked our lives with nothing to show for it. I recommend taking your own photos when you can. Two stars, for the tour guides. They are very friendly people and work hard to keep the tour going. However, the jet skiing experience on the ocean may not be for everyone. Everyone's experience may differ depending on how difficult the waves are. If you are a novice but still want that jet skiing experience, perhaps the morning session will be easier (waves should be calmer).

Definitely not recommended

Sure, JetSkis are fun and all but honestly not worth the time, money and energy. 1. Poorly organised from start to finish. Wait 40-60 mins after tour for ride back. Throughout the trip you will repeatedly be asked about your booking because they have no idea who is who and who booked what. Halfway through the trip one could was told they hadn’t paid for the right package and so had to hand over cash. 2. Pay for 5 hr package and you leave and return with the 4 hr package people. 3. There is no instruction or safety guidance at any point. 4. Most concerning, if you aren’t willing to go fast the guides will leave you in open ocean. While we were comfortable keeping at 50 mph + but not everyone is. If you fall behind the guides just yell to go faster. There is only one “guide JetSki” and they are only at the front so they don’t see if you are left behind. 5. The “ 7 islands” are not exactly islands. At best I would count 2 or 3 as islands.

Awesome Jet Ski tour!

I enjoyed the entire tour. I’ve done jet skiing before, but they are much more strict, larger groups, slower paced, and definitely shorter. Of course there are always safety rules in place which is reasonable. I loved the freedom of being allowed to go at our own pace, and in turn, was able to fully enjoy the jet ski. We had a much smaller group from what I was used to, so stopping to allow others to catch up was at a minimal. I also love that I wasn’t and didn’t feel rushed in any way. Loved that they took many and plenty of photos for us during the entire tour. Would highly recommend this package for those who enjoy speed and activities on/in the water, as well as beautiful sights of several islands and beaches.

Highly recommended, a joyful experience

The staff are extremely friendly and kind we have enjoyed the 4 hours activity and visited the islands . They have captured our lovely moments . The took care of us and always checking on us . The instructor is very kind and the hospitality is amazing . I highly recommend it. ❤️

Nice jet ski ride

Well organised! The staff is very friendly and help taken photos during the trip! Did both run smooth waters and big waves, funny to experience!

Had more enjoyable jet ski experiences

Started almost 2 hours late (advertised for 12pm start). Distance between destinations was long and because of extended rests at stops, we needed to go about 50kph through choppy seas. Weather conditions not their fault but there should have been adjustments for time at stops.

Great tour!

This day was amazing as you got to ride around to different islands on a jet ski! It was lots of fun and the instructors were very good at taking lots of photos! Just note that if you book for two people under one name you only get one jet ski. I’d recommend booking under two different names to get your own ones if you want.

Breathtaking Tour

The experience was thrilling and our guides were excellent, in conducting our tour and keeping us safe and secure. The views are breath taking, and the sea was like glass. A tour not to be missed if you are in the Phuket!!!!

Transportation from prearranged spot was very good. Very friendly staff and tour guides. We chose the 5hr tour, which was plenty long. Stopped at several different beaches but each for just a short period of time. Lots of photos were taken by staff, then they we chat them to u. Overall I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys seeing things via jet ski.

Safety Concerns and Not beginner friendly

I'm not one to write reviews, especially negative ones but first I want to highlight I knew what I was getting myself into when coming to Thailand and by that I mean at certain times they will cut corners or proper safety in certain places but this trip the safety part was taken beyond the extreme as me and my gf felt extremely unsafe. Certain things to consider; strenght - NOT beginner friendly - NOT for a "very" young/"very" old audience due to amount of time on jet ski = a lot of PHSICAL STRENGTH needed to battle the ROUGH WAVES.If you happen to fall off your jetski getting back on might just be impossible without some help also considering if there is either one or two per jetski it becomes more complicated to get back on. - If you happen to fall off when the two guides that are both in front a VERY FAR AWAY (not really keeping an eye that much) you will be LEFT IN THE WATER most likely for 20MINUTES + before they notice further down the trip. This is extra CONCERNING when you are unlucky enough like us to be jet skiing at the later time and coming back to shore at 7pm+ (It WILL BE VERY DARK with not a lot of visibility and you are guided by a someone with an iPhone as a flashlight very far away that wont really be able to see if one or even two of you have fallen off. - If you are more of a THRILL SEEKER and 0 FEAR of the open ocean with huge waves clashing against each other that are a possibility then sure this will probably be for you. If you value your life or just don't want the hassle of you or a loved one having a traumatising experience that isn't completely comfortable with either having the possibility of FLOATING AROUND THE OCEAN 10-20minutes minimum before they notice let alone think about how that would feel like in the DARK with rough waves + not great visibility. Its probably best best to avoid this kind of experience.

Not worth the money and very rude customer service, find another company

The tour operators who picked us up were 20 minutes late and then wanted to leave immediately, however my partner was upstairs getting her glasses. They then said they wouldn't wait and just left. Which meant we then needed to get a 1 hour taxi the location. They were very very rude to me on the phone, couldn't believe a business would talk to their customers like that. The jet ski trip itself was pretty underwhelming. You are in a group, you can only drive in a straight line, not allowed to zigzag for example. The islands are pretty boring and you can only walk on 2 of them and the jetskiss are very old and falling apart. I'd give the experience 3/10, not worth the money or even our time, let alone how rude the staff were.

Amazing experience

The tour guides were super nice and they made sure we got the most out of the trip. The sites and islands were absolutely amazing. Like nothing I’ve ever done before.

This experience was worth every penny

The two hosts were a delight. They gave great instructions in the beginning and allowed everyone to go at their own pace and then stop for folks to catch up to the group. Monkey Island was the highlight for me as an animal lover. Lunch was decent and the break was much-needed. I went as a solo female traveler and felt very comfortable.

Fun times

Ski guide was extremely friendly, very humorous and gave clear instructions on how to handle ourselves. Had a great time on the ski, fellow skii goers were really friendly too.. Would definitely recommend this experience for anyone looking to try out jet skiing but I'd remember to bring sunscreen too..

GO AT YOUR OWN RISK IF YOURE BLACK

The tour was cool and instructor was nice but the lady and the taxi driver are RACIST we were located in Patong which says that transfer is included and when driver came to pick up me and my group he was saying that 2 couldn’t get on because of transportation but it’s included in the ticket…. the driver was racist and asked for all of us to show our tickets but when I asked the people the van (who were all white) they didn’t have to show anything. Driver then let us in and slammed the door on my friend foot while screaming because he didn’t want to take us. I have a photo attached of the rude driver. and the lady on the phone said we had to pay $3,900 BAHT for transfer when it clearly states Patong is included when booking.

Lots of fun

The jetski was very good and lots of fun. I did the 5 hr ride which was probably too much. I would have given 5 stars but for a few things, the lunch provided was not very good. At the start it seemed a bit disorganized. To get to the jetski you need to walk over rocks in the water and you can see how sharp they are, got about 20cuts on my foot from it, recommend get water shoes. The guide was a bit fast, so if you are slow you might lose him.

Forced to pay for pickup in Patong

We had purchased 3 jet skis (6 people)and one of us wrote them telling them that we were all together. When the driver arrived he said he’s only supposed to pickup 4 people and that one of the reservations wasn’t included. There was space in the van for the other 2. The driver then called someone and she’s telling us on the phone they don’t have a reservation. We’re showing them the 3 tickets, then they say pickup was not included and it will be 1300 bahts for EACH (3)jet ski. Which made no sense since PATONG is included for pickup. After arguing for 30 minutes the driver dove us. When we arrive they put some woman on the phone again to tell us we have to pay 3900 total for transportation. We ended up paying because it was my birthday and we didn’t want to let them ruin our first day in Phuket. But this was totally ridiculous especially since there was another group of 4 black men that they also denied transportation in an area where pickup was included. As a person of color it is very sad that this happened especially since the other white people in our van told us the driver didn’t even get asked to show tickets. Also they don’t know how to communicate in English so it was impossible to try to get an explanation for anything. The jet ski tour itself was fun. But the experience with staff was absolutely horrible.

Brillant experience

Rocky and his team were excellent. Took care of me and my husband as we are I the older generation. The sights were stunning and the jet skis were fun. Definitely recommend this tour

Fabulous jetski adventure!!

Rocky and his team were wonderful and insured that everyone in our group had a fabulous jetski adventure. The jetskis were in good working order and everyone was encouraged to move at the speed they were comfortable with. If you love speed, go full throttle. If you enjoy jetsking at a more leisurely pace great. The islands we visited were lovely and there was lots of variety.

Rocky and his colleagues were very helpful and did a fantastic job looking after us. Saw some remote islands and beautiful views. Definitely recommend this adventure

GO AT YOUR OWN RISK

This didn’t get one star because our instructor was cool but let me start off by saying THE DRIVER and lady on the phone that instructs the driver are extremely racist. I went on Feb 21 and it clearly says transportation included and after the driver made a show about picking us up and also stopped the van in the middle of the road to tell me and my group to take a taxi when it’s an 45 min drive BUT wouldn’t give us the address and wanted us to split up. and also when my friend was trying to get into the car the driver slammed his foot with the door. and i also want to add that WE were the only BLACK people in that van and driver asked to see voucher but didn’t ask all the white people in the van for their voucher. MADE US PAY 3,900BAHT FOR TRANSPORTATION WHEN IT SAYS ITS INCLUDED and once we got to the place we saw another group of black people and they said that they did the same thing to them. IF YOURE SOMEONE OF COLOR GO AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

For the jet ski lover

If you want to jet ski around this is perfect. You spend almost the entire time on jet skis. The tour guides were great and took a ton of pictures. You only get off on 2/7 islands. Lunch was disappointing, you had 4 options and they were all small servings of fried rice. When you arrive it is extremely disorganized. We were picked up late and our hotel was about 1 1/2 hours away.

A fun afternoon on land, water, and sometimes briefly the air. The taxi trip to Phang Nga Bay is long (basically going back to the airport), so settle in and enjoy the tour of Phuket island. The jet skis are in good condition, are very stable, and go really fast. If the water is not too choppy 70km/h can easily be reached. On the open water though 30-35km/h was quite comfortable (for your arms, spine and spleen). The group tended to go a bit faster, but it’s easy to see and follow the spray of the jet skis in the lead. In the long stretches the group will hold and wait from time to time. Overall I think the guides took good care of the people in the group, but they could have stayed a bit closer on open water (- 1 star).

Bad organisation, I don't recommend

Bad organisation. We booked our trip 2 days before the date. We tried to contact with organisator but none one responded by viator. After call to them 12h before trip we got info that they don't have enough skijets and they asked us to rebook the time..the lady asked us to be on the meeting point (we drive there by ourselves) at 1.pm - we were punctual and because of that we had to wait till 2.30 pm because it was a time the trip started.. The first part of trip was nice, but after monkey island the waves get bigger and the leading driver was driving so fast that the driving was uncomfortable.. The good site of that trip was only that main driver was making a lot of photos.

Good fun!

Great day out. Unfortunately a bit windy on the day. We would have appreciated a heads up that there is a large storage space on the jetski to store your bag and water. Take your own water, as none is supplied other than at lunch. Overall good fun at high speed.

I do not recommend this organisator.

Starting from poor organisation - we booked our trip 2 day before the date (I tried to contact them via viator - not responding) , we have been waiting for any info during that time, and after few calls we got info that the date is not available for us because they have enough jet ski.. So we decided to book in other date as the operator asked us. We got the new date and time. We were advised to be on meeting spot before 1 pm. We were punctual so we had to wait till 2.30 pm to trip get stared.. 2 hours wasted for their poor organisation.. The first part was good, but after 1h trip the waves started get bigger and the guider doesn't want to get slower because "we have time limit". The lunch was good and the fact the guider was really kind to make pictures of us all the time. Overall I would not recommend this trip. Idea was good but execution terrible

Traumatising and not beginner friendly!!!

Absolutely horrifying experience and NOT beginner friendly. Pick up was fine but after driving to pick up others and going towards the destination, the driver was driving like a mad man. Super unsafe and couple times almost crash happening. Speeding and overtaking cars unsafely multiple times. Beeping a lot like an ambulance and huffing and puffing over stress which made me and my boyfriend a bit stressed as well. Once we arrived the main lady wasn’t very friendly and welcoming. We were also told to put our passport number which we didn’t know we had to take so that was another hassle but ended up figuring it out by calling the hotel for passport pictures. First hour was pretty good with no issues and the couple islands were really nice. But after leaving monkey island and doing the 1h ride to another one that’s where things started being not fun. When it says “Safe Travels and SHA Plus+” it is NOT SAFE. I did NOT feel safe. I’ve never felt this much horror and being this terrified. The water was very choppy and it was big bumps after bumps. If you go faster me as a passenger felt like I was going to flip over any minute. Doing multiple scary air times even if we were going slower than the rest. There was no other instructor at the back to make sure everyone is okay and the main instructors going way faster and super far away with 0 stops to make sure everyone is keeping up and okay. All the picture taking just felt like “they still alive” instead of actual memory pictures as well. You need mad grip to keep holding urself down with all the waves constantly coming at u and not to mention all over your eyes and face so there was moments where you had to just drive with eyes closed. Be careful if u take this but I would never recommend. Very exhausting and traumatising experience.

Highly recommended activity if you’re looking for something interesting to do! Sharing a jet ski with my partner was fun but if I could do it again I would love to have my own jet ski so I could drive the whole tour on my own :) The guides were nice, helped us take tons of photos. Please Avoid. Safety Concerns.

Experience was extremely scary. First you board jet skis on a rock beach with broken glass & ceramics everywhere and you have to wade into murky water to board. Be sure to wear shoes if you choose to go. Very high waves created a dangerous environment for anyone without extensive jet ski experience. Tour guides pushed us to go faster than we were comfortable with and didn’t stay behind to make sure the group stayed together. When we asked to be taken back, we felt as though we were being forced to continue. This could have been a language barrier issue but we were not able to convince them to take us back. Jet skis are so-so condition. Not ideal for rough waters. Ours kept filling up on the left side making it unbalanced to sit and steer. Our jet ski also showed a “maintenance required” message on the jet ski screen which did not inspire confidence. Would not recommend unless very experienced and looking for a thrill. P.S. They make sure to take everyone’s photo at every beach. Felt more like a “proof-of-life” photo than anything social media or marketing related. Our “smiling faces” do not represent how we felt on this tour.

VERY BAD NEVER AGAIN

Never use this tour. Unprofessional. Disorganized. Rude and disrespectdull. I would never reccomend this to anyone. Rocky seadoo is the worst i have seen in thailand.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

DO NOT PICK THIS!!! This is the worst people to book with, there are others much better "luxury Marina". Taxi late, when he got there, he did not even know where to drop us off. Staff not even took a glance at us until I went to talk to them. Our ticket, emails and booking said 1000 baht for taxi but they wanted 1300. I refused, showed them my paper work. Finally we decided to leave since it was 1:30 and half the people were not booked yet, not to mention the lunch that never happened. This was a 4 hour tour and sundown is at 6:27. Worst company to deal and owner she is a crook, miserable and does not belong dealing with people. Very Rude!!! AGAIN, DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE GUYS

Great way to spend half a day

The JetSki's were fun. Only a couple of the tops were awe inspiring, but it is just an enjoyable half-day to do something you may normally not have the chance to do.

Poor safety, poor communication, rushed and not enjoyable

My 16 year old sons jet ski engine cut out and he was left behind as he was unable to restart. We thought he was ahead so we’re unaware. The tour guides noticed 20 minutes later as they were at the front and had not left someone at the back for such eventualities. My son was stuck in the ocean 10 miles from shore by himself for 20 mins and was traumatized by this. Due to the really choppy and high waves between the island in the deep my daughter was also traumetized and instead of helping the tour guides just kept saying speed up speed up rather than coaching her and calming her. When I asked that we return to shore as the kids were really upset I was told “cannot, too far” and they clearly had a schedule to keep which was more important to them than whether everyone was enjoying themselves. I had to constantly reassure both kids (16 and 18 yr olds) and stay with them for another three hrs. No flexibility and No off ramp to go back if one doesn’t like it. In addition to the above note the following: I responded to viators email to provide them with our passport details - they did not pass these onto oh hoo travel, meaning that on arrival at the car park in the middle of nowhere we were asked for passport details which we did not have. We had to phone hotel and get them to send it though on email to us. So bring your passport details. On the Viator web site it said 1300 baht for pickup. At the car park where the trip started we were told 1300 there and 1300 back which then became 1300 for each jet ski which is just crap - so we were fleeced. My wife did not join us and no refund. Then we were further fleeced as they advised we needed plastic flip flops or pull over wet shoes - at 250 baht each. Another 750 baht. So bring cash and expect to be fleeced for every penny/baht you have. Then they take lots of photos. So we get “go faster go faster” only to then float next to an island for 20 minutes. And then they advise to take QR code and send our details and they will send the group photos. Get this, we did that and guess what - no photos !! So to summarize poor safety, a bad jet ski that had engine cut out multiple times, poor communication from the guides, a stupid schedule where we had to go faster go faster so we could sit around for multiple 20 mins for photos that we never received. Total crap - don’t do it. Especially if it’s a windy day or when there are choppy waters

Poor safety, poor communication, not enjoyable

My 16 year old son’s jet ski engine cut out and he was left in the middle of the ocean by himself for 20 mins before the tour guides noticed. He was traumatized. They should have a tour guide at the back for safety reasons to ensure people are not left behind. My daughter was also traumatized by the high waves and wanted to go home, but after asking we were told it was too far and that we had to go faster, meaning we had to stick out the entire tour with two traumatized and sobbing children. Tour guides were not responsible and clearly only concerned about the meeting the schedule of one island after another through choppy waters rather than the making sure everyone had an enjoyable experience. Communication was really bad I sent passport details by email for the insurance but the company we booked with did not pass them onto the jet ski company. The pickup cost of 1300 baht became 2600 baht even though we traveled in the same car - 1300 per jet ski was the excuse - we were fleeced. No refund for my wife who did not attend (thank bid she didn’t as she would have taken their heads off) Then no advice to wear plastic flip flop sandals so we had to buy slip on footwear - fleeced for another 750 baht. So poor safety, poor communication, no off ramp to stop the tour early, and fleeced for every last baht. I could not recommend this to anyone.

Awesome experience, great guides

The pick up was on time, from our hotel in Patong. The guides were really nice and took some nice photos for us!

A bit bumpy but overall a ton of fun and loved by our whole group

We weren’t sure at the start: Driver picked us up over 30 minutes late He then drove like a mad man (pedestrians were jumping out of his way) We were rushed onto the beach (i didnt have time to grab everything i needed) The safety speech made it sound like we would be traveling in an orderly line with no jet skiing “fun” We had to sit and wait for 10 minutes when our guide had to go back for someone But by the end it was loads of fun! We got plenty of time on the jet ski and as long as you are careful around the other people and hang back they let you play around on them. The photography was included and very good! We even enjoyed the small downpour! They even let our two teens take a turn driving which they loved! The return van trip wasnt done well though. We had one couple 45 min out of the way and they dropped them off first so everyone else was stuck in the van an EXTRA LONG time.

Great value - fun time!

The machines were awesome, newer watercraft that comfortably met a two person need. We actually spent way more time on the water than I expected. The staff was accommodating.
