Phuket Airport Transfer (SHA Plus)

Will not use Viator again.

I cancelled this hotel transfer when I realised that the final price was showing in US dollars despite my default being AU dollars. The cancellation did not go through and I could no longer cancel on the Viator app. Messaged the vendor multiple times but did not get a response. Expensive price for a service I didn’t end up using.

Fantastic service from these guys, from nit8cining my booking alerr9r and changing without difficulties, to the great driver who turned up early, was very polite and drove skillfully in dangerous road conditions.. keep up the good work guys..

Great idea avoid the taxis

Ontime, courteous, and safe transportation. Our driver was waiting with a sign when we arrived and communicated well via whatsapp with clear direcrions before our arrival

When we came out the door, we looked at all the signs, I looked 3 or 4 times, could never see my name. came back and after about 15-20 minutes, finally saw someone standing there with my name. he stated he had been there all along but I rather doubt it.

Good value for money.

Good driver, Mr Somsuk. It took a wee while for him to arrive due to the taxi queue. Will use this service again. Best to contact via email.

Fine ride

Nice, clean vehicle and driver gave us water. Instructions to find the vehicle could have been more clear (needed to fully exit out of gate 2)

Appalled

Booked the airport transfer months before our first trip to Phuket particularly as we were arriving in the early hours of the morning. However just hours before ( whilst we were flying there) we received an email worded 'It’s a bummer, but the tour operator for Phuket Airport Transfer (SHA Plus) had to cancel your booking. Good news: a full refund of GBP' Given I hadn't been well on the flight and we had thought we would have someone waiting for us, it didn't make for a pleasant first impression of the country and made for a very stressful situation. It's a pity you can't give a no star rating!

Took a few minutes but connected wit service provider who was knowledgeable and got us to our hotel safely and quickly

No hassle airport pickup and drop

The pickup and drop was timely. Cars were clean and driver was very polite - offered us water as we entered the car. We had some issue with finding the person when we landed in Phuket but that I would attribute to us being a little lost after flying and transiting for 10 hours.

Showed up on time and worked as advertised! If you are checking out allow for time for your hotel to do the room inspection (5 minutes).

Wrong Place

The pick up with great…only problem, I was dropped off at the wrong location and had to find another transportation company to take me to the right property…as a solo traveler, you try to ensure everything is covered before leaving but I was overwhelmed by this mistake…the next question is will they pick me up from the right place?

Our driver was amazing, he did a great job of trying to make conversation and acted like a tour guide on our 1 hour drive.

Taxi at the airport was smooth. We we're expecting a normal car but we got a mini bus with really comfy seats. Driver was great. Long drive but no issues. At the hotel the driver refused a tip and said no thankyou you have paid. Lovely guy. Mini bus clan and bottled water supplied. Definitely recommend.

A smooth ride

The driver was there waiting when we walked out. And he took us right to our hotel in patong in about an hour. The communication is good with the company as well. Bolt could be an option, depending on the time of your arrival.

Would not recommend

Booked a private hotel to airport transfer after using this company for our initial hotel transfer. Both services received were vastly different. One good and the other not a all. Our car arrived and it appeared the job had been outsourced to a general taxi service. The car was not clean and smelt. The company advised it would only take 50 - 60 minutes to get to the airport from Karon however, it took 90-100 minutes. The product description states you will receive water and a towelette - we did not receive this. The product description also states it will be an English speaking driver - our driver barely spoke more than a greeting. This was not an issue for us however, it is misleading to state this in the product description. Would not recommend and would not book this service again as their product is not provided as advertised and is inconsistent.

Waiting for us to and from airport

Booked this for airport transfer to and from Phuket as we were staying quite far out from the main areas. Driver had a sign waiting for us on arrival (turn right upon exit and into arrival hall). Helped us with our bags and arrived safely to our hotel. The morning of departure we had a 6:30am pick up and again, driver was waiting at the hotel to take us to the airport. Great service - they confirm everything the day before via email.

The driver was on time, the car was clean and big enough for 3 adults. We got to the airport on time and had no issues. Would rebook if travelling to Phuket again.

It was a little hard to find the guide but make sure you go all the way out of the airport to find the sign. The car was clean and air conditioned. Perfect size for 7 people. Will recommend

Driver was easy to find outside the airport with a sign of our names, and then he took us to the car which was nice and cool from the AC, felt sooo good because it was so hot that day! Then gave us cold waters and a towel for our faces. Just what we needed after a long day of traveling! Highly recommend:)

Fine but not great

Driver did not speak any English and took me to the wrong hotel. I told him it was the wrong hotel and showed him the address of the right hotel on my phone but he insisted on hearing it from the receptionist. When they confirmed he then took me to the right hotel. Car was nice and I felt safe (solo female traveller) but it would have been nice if he spoke English.

Great start to Phuket Adventure

Airport was extremely busy and our driver was ready and waiting for us with a very nice van for our family and lots of luggage. Thanks for a great ride and making us feel welcome in Phuket Thailand!!!

Punctual and safe driving

Drivers were punctual for pick-up both ways. We had our own car and didn't need to wait or pick up anyone along the way. Highly recommend and would use again.

I was picked up from my hotel at the appointed time and brought to the airport with plenty of time to catch my flight.
